Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school principals in developing Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) to enhance teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 3 Batang. A qualitative phenomenological approach was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using triangulation techniques. The findings reveal three key aspects of the principal’s role: (1) planning, by integrating OCB values into school programs; (2) implementation, through teachers’ voluntary practices such as assisting colleagues, supporting school activities, and engaging beyond formal duties; and (3) monitoring, carried out via academic supervision, evaluations, and recognition of proactive teachers. The study concludes that the application of OCB significantly strengthens teacher professionalism in pedagogical, social, and professional dimensions. These findings underscore the significance of school leadership as a crucial strategy for enhancing educational quality.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of positive culture planning as a strategy to achieve school effectiveness at Kalirejo 02 State Elementary School. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and document reviews. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of positive culture has been implemented effectively through a comprehensive management process. Planning is carried out strategically by integrating the values of the Pancasila Student Profile into the School Vision and formal programs outlined in the RKS/RKAS. Implementation is focused on the application of Positive Discipline, characterized by the consistent use of Class Beliefs and the Restitution Triangle method by teachers. This implementation has had a significant impact on school effectiveness, as evidenced by: a significant decrease in student violation cases, an increase in the quality of a safe and supportive school climate, and an increase in teacher job satisfaction. However, challenges faced are maintaining consistent implementation across all staff and optimizing parental involvement to strengthen a positive culture at home. Overall, a positive culture at Kalirejo 02 State Elementary School serves as a successful management strategy that improves students' internal discipline and creates a holistic learning ecosystem.

Abstract

This study investigates the extent to which pedagogical competence and work motivation individually influence teacher professionalism in public elementary schools in East Ungaran District, Indonesia. Using a quantitative causal design, data were collected from 125 teachers selected through proportional random sampling and analyzed using correlation and linear regression techniques. The findings show that both pedagogical competence (β = 0.721, R² = 0.724) and work motivation (β = 0.785, R² = 0.743) have positive and significant partial effects on teacher professionalism. Notably, work motivation demonstrates a stronger influence, indicating that intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors contribute more substantially to professional behavior than technical pedagogical skills alone. This study provides empirical evidence that strengthening internal drive and work climate may yield greater improvements in teacher professionalism than focusing solely on competency-based training. The results offer practical implications for policymakers and school leaders in designing targeted professional development strategies.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of principal academic supervision, school culture, and teacher work motivation on learning quality in public elementary schools in Sedan District, Rembang Regency. Using a quantitative ex post facto design, data were collected from 132 teachers selected through proportional random sampling. Multiple correlation, ANOVA, and multiple regression analyses were employed. The findings reveal that the three independent variables collectively have a very strong and significant effect on learning quality (R = 0.895; R² = 0.800; p < 0.001). Principal academic supervision contributes the most substantially (69.8%), followed by teacher work motivation (68.1%) and school culture (53.1%). These results indicate that learning quality can be significantly improved through an integrated synergy that strengthens instructional supervision, fosters a collaborative school culture, and enhances teachers’ intrinsic motivation. The study highlights the importance of comprehensive managerial interventions in optimizing learning quality and offers empirical evidence for the multidimensional model of supervision–culture–motivation in primary education.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of inclusive education at SDN Susukan 04, East Ungaran District, using a qualitative case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, and validated through methodological and source triangulation. The findings show that planning was conducted through goal formulation, needs identification, and the development of adaptive programs integrated into the RKS/RKAS. Implementation involved curriculum modification, service accommodation, and the deployment of special education teachers to support 29 students with special needs across 13 classes. Evaluation was carried out systematically to measure goal attainment and identify barriers. The school demonstrated progress in fostering social acceptance, self-confidence, and empathy among students, consistent with the principles of inclusion and Social Role Valorization (SRV). However, challenges persist in teacher competency, parental involvement, and the adequacy of adaptive learning media. Strengthening professional development and building a comprehensive support system are essential for advancing transformative inclusion.
