Abstract

Building a child's character formation requires habituation. To create good habits, habits must be carried out regularly in everyday life. As a result, instilling religious and moral principles in early childhood is very important. The aim of this research is to study in depth how PAUD teachers help children become more religious by teaching them habits such as the duha prayer. Data was collected using descriptive qualitative methods through documentation, in-depth interviews and observations with speakers consisting of school principals and teaching staff there. For the results of the analysis, researchers combine data collection findings from reliable sources with data collection findings that are converted into text. The results show that there are differences between children who are used to performing Dhuha prayers and children who are not. The aim of this habituation is to make children accustomed to positive things, understand religion better, and have good morals. It is recommended that this habituation be carried out regularly and involve the role of parents so that the results are better

Abstract

Perkembangan sosial merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam berprilaku pada suatu interaksi dengan orang lain di lingkungan sekitar dengan unsur sosialisasi dan sesuai dengan tuntunan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan memaknai interaksi sosial anak dengan lingkungan sekolah, hambatan interaksi sosial anak yang sering muncul di lingkungan sekolah, serta mendeskripsikan strategi efektif yang digunakan oleh guru dalam mengatasi permasalahan hambatan interaksi sosial.  Hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan oleh peneliti menunjukkan bahwa seorang anak pada aspek perkembangan perilaku sosial dapat dikatakan belum berkembang, sehingga perlu adanya berbagai stimulasi yang sesuai agar perkembangan sosialnya dapat lebih optimal. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seorang anak berusia 6 tahun memiliki beberapa hambatan pada interaksi sosial yang tidak sesuai dengan usianya atau berbeda dengan teman sebaya pada umumnya. Maka dari itu beberapa strategi guru yang diimplementasikan cukup efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan interaksi sosial anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana pengaruh dari kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode systematic literature review (SLR) yang mengkaji berbagai hasil penelitian sebelumnya terkait pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru PAI di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Analisis kebutuhan data dari metode SLR ini melalui dua langkah yaitu langkah indentifikasi fokus penelitian dan tahap screening dari berbagai artikel jurnal yang terindeks dengan menggunakan kriteria inklusi dan eksluasi. Kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, mengembangkan profesionalisme guru, dan mendorong pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah mempengaruhi kualitas kinerja guru dengan baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari adanya presentase peningkatan dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Komptensi manajerial kepala sekolah tersebut dapat dilakukan melalui adanya supervisi. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil analisis secara komprehensif dari penelitian terdahulu untuk dijadikan bahan penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan mendeskripsikan status gizi anak usia dini di salah satu Taman Kanak-Kanak di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya menggunakan metode antropometri. Melalui pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan terhadap 13 siswa berusia 5-6 tahun, serta menggunakan aplikasi WHO Anthro Plus, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa (11 dari 13) memiliki status gizi baik, sementara dua siswa mengalami gizi lebih. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pemantauan rutin terhadap status gizi anak untuk mendeteksi dan menangani masalah gizi sedini mungkin. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti peran penting pendidik dan orangtua dalam memahami dan menangani permasalahan gizi anak guna mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan optimal mereka. Metode antropometri yang digunakan terbukti sederhana, efektif, dan dapat diakses oleh berbagai pihak tanpa memerlukan keahlian khusus.

Abstract

This research examines the concept and implementation of leadership in facilitating early childhood learning processes through a systematic literature review. Using a literature study approach with content analysis methods, analyzing various academic sources including textbooks, journal articles, and relevant educational policy documents. The results show that early childhood leadership is a multidimensional construct encompassing four main domains: emotional (regulation and emotional awareness), socio-cognitive (interpretation and social interaction), moral-ethical (understanding values and norms), and creativity-innovation (divergent and adaptive thinking). Leadership development requires a holistic approach through four main strategies: (1) experiential learning, (2) narrative-constructive, (3) structural play, and (4) reflective-metacognitive. Direct experience-based interventions show the highest success rate (78-85%) in improving decision-making and collaborative problem-solving abilities. Ecosystemic analysis reveals that leadership development is influenced by dynamic interactions of micro (family-school), meso (inter-environmental relationships), and macro (socio-cultural values) systems. Practical implications lead to three recommendations: (1) development of flexible leadership competency-based curriculum, (2) enhancement of educators' capacity as facilitators of psychological transformation, and (3) implementation of holistic assessment systems considering children's longitudinal development.   ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini mengkaji konsep dan implementasi kepemimpinan dalam memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran anak usia dini melalui studi literatur sistematis. Menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur dengan metode analisis konten dari berbagai sumber akademik meliputi buku teks, artikel jurnal, dan dokumen kebijakan pendidikan yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan anak usia dini merupakan konstruk multidimensional yang mencakup empat domain utama: emosional (regulasi dan kesadaran emosi), sosial-kognitif (interpretasi dan interaksi sosial), moral-etis (pemahaman nilai dan norma), serta kreativitas-inovasi (berpikir divergen dan adaptif). Pengembangan kepemimpinan memerlukan pendekatan holistik melalui empat strategi utama: (1) experiential learning, (2) naratif-konstruktif, (3) permainan struktural, dan (4) reflektif-metakognitif. Intervensi berbasis pengalaman langsung menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan tertinggi (78-85%) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan dan pemecahan masalah kolaboratif. Analisis ekosistemik mengungkapkan bahwa pengembangan kepemimpinan dipengaruhi oleh interaksi dinamis sistem mikro (keluarga-sekolah), meso (hubungan antarlingkungan), dan makro (nilai budaya-sosial). Implikasi praktis mengarah pada tiga rekomendasi: (1) pengembangan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi kepemimpinan yang fleksibel, (2) peningkatan kapasitas pendidik sebagai fasilitator transformasi psikologis, dan (3) implementasi sistem asesmen holistik yang mempertimbangkan perkembangan longitudinal anak. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan kepemimpinan anak usia dini membutuhkan integrasi kompleks antara stimulasi yang tepat, lingkungan yang responsif, dan fasilitasi yang sensitif terhadap tahap perkembangan anak.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strengthening of computational thinking through innovate STEAM activities in early childhood at Joy Kids National Plus. The background of the study is the importance of building logical and systematic thinking patterns from an early age through a fun and integrated learning approach. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The result showed that STEAM activities at Joy Kids Kindergarten were designed in the form of simple projects that combine elements of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. The teacher’s strategy in facilitating activities provides space for exploration, collaboration, and reflection. Children demonstrate computational thinking skills such as recognizing patterns, solving problems, and compiling solution steps. Teachers have a positive perception of the implementation of STEAM, despite technical challenges. Overall, the STEAM approach is effective in forming the basis of computational thinking in early childhood.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbahasa Sunda penting untuk dikembangkan sejak usia dini sebagai pelestarian budaya dan pembentukan karakter. Namun, penggunaan bahasa daerah termasuk bahasa Sunda semakin mengalami penurunan akibat dominasi bahasa Indonesia dalam lingkungan keluarga maupun pendidikan. Salah satu upaya untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan relevan dengan dunia anak, seperti komik berbasis kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi komik dalam memfasilitasi keterampilan berbahasa Sunda anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa komik memiliki daya tarik visual dan naratif yang kuat dalam menyampaikan pesan edukatif secara menyenangkan. Integrasi unsur budaya lokal dalam komik, seperti nilai gotong royong, tolerasi, kemandirian, dan sikap hormat melalui bahasa Sunda mampu membangun pemahaman anak terhadap intensitas budaya. Selain itu, komik juga efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa seperti menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis dalam konteks bahasa Sunda. Dengan demikian, komik berbasis kearifan lokal tidak hanya mendukung pembelajaran bahasa daerah, tetapi juga memperkuat pembentukan karakter anak.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of supervision on the performance of kindergarten teachers in Baleendah District, Bandung Regency, by taking into account the schools’ accreditation levels. The research is motivated by the issue of kindergarten teachers’ performance, which is considered suboptimal, thus requiring managerial strategies such as supervision to improve teachers’ work quality. This study employed a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews with principals and teachers. The results indicate that supervision has a positive and significant effect on kindergarten teachers’ performance. Moreover, there are slight variations in the influence of supervision depending on the accreditation level. These findings highlight the crucial role of principals in conducting effective and sustainable supervision, particularly in the context of early childhood education management. It is expected that the results can serve as a reference for school principals and education managers in designing more structured and sustainable supervision programs to directly enhance the quality of kindergarten teachers’ performance.

Abstract

This article discusses how digital platforms and content creators play a vital role in the success of growing businesses, especially in the culinary sector. By utilizing social media, small businesses can strengthen their branding and build consumer trust through quality and relevant content. A case study of a successful culinary entrepreneur shows that consistent and innovative branding strategies significantly contribute to business growth in a competitive market. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of observation and in-depth interviews. The research findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between entrepreneurs and content creators in building a strong brand, attracting customers, and forming a loyal community. In addition, this article provides practical strategies that can be applied by aspiring entrepreneurs, especially the younger generation, in starting a digital-based business. By utilizing digital technology and creative ideas, entrepreneurs can create new job opportunities and contribute to the advancement of the local economy.

Abstract

The limited implementation of the deep learning approach in early childhood education, particularly in Cijeungjing, Ciamis Regency, has become a key concern in efforts to improve the quality of learning. This approach is believed to enrich the learning process by integrating mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning. This study aims to assess kindergarten teachers’ readiness to implement the deep learning approach, based on four dimensions of the readiness for change theory: appropriateness, change efficacy, management support, and personal benefit. A quantitative descriptive method was employed using a survey involving 68 teachers from various early childhood education institutions. The analysis revealed that all readiness dimensions were categorized as high: management support (76.4%), appropriateness (74.6%), change efficacy (74.2%), and personal benefit (70.0%). These findings indicate that early childhood teachers in the region possess both psychological and structural readiness to adopt deep learning-based instructional innovations. The study implies the importance of continuous training and mentoring to holistically strengthen teachers' readiness in supporting 21st-century learning transformation.
