Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan rekaya manusia untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan martabatnya. Salah satu implikasi dari hal tersebut organisasi pendidikan harus dikelola dalam sistem manajemen yang berlandaskan moral dan etika. Perkembangan moral dan etika di dalam kehidupan seseorang harus dijadikan muara keberhasilan pendidikan dalam bentuk prinsip-prinsip kehidupan. Tujuan pendidikan untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik, baik dalam dimensi intelegensi, emosi, dan sikap sosial. pendidikan yang baik bukan sekedar membuat anak didik pintar dan cerdas, tetapi juga bermoral dan beretika.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove the existence of grammatical cohesion in the research report text of the lectures of Faculty of Languages and Arts, Semarang State University and to identify the various devices used in the text of the research report, from the lecturer of Faculty of Languages and Arts, Semarang State University. The research was conducted with qualitative and descriptive approach. The source of research data is the lecturer’s text of the research report that there are seven research report. Research data in the form of text snippets of the Semarang State University’s lecurer’s research report that allegedly contain grammatical cohesion. The findings of this study is the presence of grammatical cohesion in the Faculty of Language and Art Semarang State University ‘lecturer’s text of the research report on the use of words or phrases. Grammatical cohesion devices in the Faculty of Language and Art Semarang State University ‘lecture’s text research report, which covers (1) reference (reference), (2) substitution, (3) ellipsis, and (4) conjunction. Based on these findings, it can be put forward suggestions that language users should be able to make use of grammatical cohesion in an effort to speak effectively and efficiently, both verbal and written. Excavations of various grammatical cohesion devices in the Faculty of Language and Art Semarang State University ‘lecture’s text research report should continue to be given the possibility of using other devices than those found in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the quality of the lecture that is designed based on the strategy two-two-four students in the kepewaraan lecturing on kepewaraan course participants, and also to describe the amount of increase in the quality of students learning outcomes after attending kepewaraan strategy with two-two-four and uncover students’s responses as feedback learning outcomes assessment designed to reveal the strategy performance in two-twofour can provide significant feedback to the positive response of students. the subject of the study were students of Education Studies Language and Literature Indonesia. Learning strategy implemented using two journals and document images. Processes and students learning outcomes were analyzed with qualitative and quantitative techniques. the results showed the process, learning outcomes, and students responses can be enhanced through the application of strategy of two-two-four, arranged in twelve steps.

Abstract

This study is conducted to describe the quality of improvement process in course designed by Better Teaching and Learning (BTL) in the course of learning process to speak on student’s university participants in Learning Speaking, decrypt improving the quality of student’s learning outcomes after learning speak courses to Better Teaching and Learning (BTL), and express the student’s respone as feedback of learning outcomes assessment that designed to reveal the performance of the Better Teaching and learning (BTL) which can provide significant feedback to positive student’s response. The subjects of this study are the students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education. Learning is implemented using Better Teaching and Learning (BTL). Method of collecting the data is by using observation, assessment rubrics, interviews, journals, and photos. The process and the students’ learning outcomes were analyzed with qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results show that the process, learning outcomes, and student’s responses can be enhanced through implementation of Better Teaching and Learning (BTL) which are arranged in fourteen steps.

Abstract

The attainment of education in Indonesia is low. It can be seen from the measurement results of PISA 2013, which measures the ability of Mathematics, Reading, and Science for students in Junior High School education age. Meanwhile, in 2014 the implementation of Curriculum 2013 will be implemented 100% in class VII and VIII. How is the readiness of Junior High School teachers in Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, and Science regarding to the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in 2014? This study aimed to describe the understanding of junior high school teachers in Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, and Science to the 2013 curriculum, an innovative learning process, as well as authentic assessment in Semarang city. The study was designed as a descriptive study with a sample of teachers in Mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, and Science (public and private) in the Semarang taken proportionally based on the accreditation status of A, B, and C. The statistical analysis that will be used is simple statistic equipped with the descriptive analysis of narrative. Research steps to be carried out are: sampling, research instruments development, data collection, data analysis, and results. The results indicated an understanding of 2013 curriculum by Junior High School teachers. It showed good result (score 3.7), understanding of the innovative learning process in using 2013 curriculum by Junior High School teachers showed good result (score 3.9), Junior High School teachers’ understanding of the authentic assessment showed considerable good result (score of 3.6), and Junior High School teachers in Bahasa Indonesia subjects, science and mathematics attitudes toward the implementation of curriculum 2013 showed good results. It can be seen from the average score of 3.8 with good categories on the questionnaire analysis. Most of teachers’ attitudes toward the implementation of 2013 curriculum indicated positive respond. On the other hand, factor of teacher readiness toward the implementation of 2013 curriculum still needs to be improved.Keywords: implementation of Curriculum 2013

Abstract

Bentuk dan jenis sastra lisan Banyumasan perlu diungkap. Hasil wawancara, hasilobservasi, hasil dokumentasi, dan hasil perekaman tentang bentuk sastra dan jenis-jenissastra lisan yang ada di wilayah Banyumas dan sekitarnya merupakan dasar temuan ini.Informan dengan kuali!ikasi pewaris aktif sastra lisan Banyumasan, yaitu tukang cerita,dalang, guru, tokoh masyarakat, dan juru kunci merupakan sumber data tulisan ini.Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Parry dan Tuloli (1990:22) yangmeliputi transkripsi, terjemah, klasi!ikasi, analisis nilai dan aspirasi. Bentuk sastraBanyumasan yang ditemukan meliputi sastra tulis dan sastra lisan. Atas dasar jenisnya,ada dua jenis sastra lisan Banyumasan yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu puisidan prosa. Sastra lisan Banyumasan jenis puisi yang ditemukan meliputi pantun, syair,seloka, parikan, geguritan. Sementara itu, sastra lisan Banyumasan jenis prosa yangditemukan mencakupi legenda, mite, peribahasa, pepatah, perumpamaan, pemeo, dankata-kata arif. This study aimed to reveal Banyumas oral literature types and forms. The bases of thisfinding were the result of interview, observation, documentation, and recording about theforms and types of oral literature in Banyumas area and its surroundings. The data sourcewas from informants with the active heirs qualification of Banyumas oral literature suchas story tellers, puppeteers, teachers, community leaders, and caretakers. The techniquesof data analysis were applying techniques of Parry and Tuloli (1990:22) consisting oftranscription, translation, classification, aspiration and value analysis. The forms ofBanyumas literature found were written and oral ones. Based on its types, there were twotypes of Banyumas oral literature found, they were poetry and prose. Poetry types ofBanyumas oral literature were poem, verse, seloka, parikan, geguritan. Meanwhile, prosetypes of Banyumas oral literature were legends, myths, proverbs, sayings, parables,bywords, and sensible words.

Abstract

Wacana dakwah agama Islam kaum wanita sangat dipengaruhi faktor-faktor sosial dan situasional yangmelingkupinya. Walaupun bahasa yang digunakan bahasa Indonesia resmi. Namun demikian, kenyataannyadalam dakwah sering digunakan alih kode dan campur kode. Penelitian perihal keefektifan penggunaan alihkode dan campur kode di dalam wacana dakwah agama Islam belum diteliti. Masalah yang diteliti di dalampenelitian ini adalah apa sajakah fungsi dan keefektifan penggunaan alih kode dan campur kode dalamwacana dakwah agama Islam kaum wanita. Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan fungsi alih kode dancampur kode dan mengidentifikasi keefektifan penggunaan alih kode dan campur kode di dalam wacanadakwah agama Islam kaum wanita.Data dalam penelitian terdiri atas wacana, penggalan wacana, dan kalimat tuturan dakwah agamaIslam kaum wanita yang diduga mengandung unsur alih kode dan campur kode bersumber wacana dakwahradio RCA Tegal. Korpus data berupa transkripsi delapan wacana dengan topik yang berbeda.Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik rekam dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalahteknik kontekstual dan teknik analisis normatif.Hasil penelitian bersimpulan bawha keefektifan alih kode dapat berwujud (1) meyakinkan, (2)mengakrabkan, (3) mengajak, (4) menyampaikan maksud tertentu, (5) memberikan nasihat, dan (6)mengingatkan. Adapun keefektifan campur kode berwujud (1) menjelaskan, (2) menyampaikan implikatur,(3) menonjolkan keterpelajaran, dan (4) menghormat pendengar. Keefektifan penggunan alih kode dancampur kode dalam wacana dakwah agama Islam kaum wanita ditentukan oleh derajat komunikasi antarapenceramah dengan pendengar.Kata Kunci: fungsi, keefektifan, wacana dakwah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan penerapan media papercraft dan teknik urai kejadian pada pembelajaran menangkap makna teks cerita pendek, mengetahui perubahan sikap religius peserta didik, mengetahui perubahan sikap sosial peserta didik, dan memaparkan peningkatan hasil tes keterampilan menangkap makna teks cerita pendek peserta didik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah keterampilan menangkap makna teks cerita pendek secara lisan kelas VIIC SMP Negeri 9 Semarang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan nontes. Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui adanya peningkatan persentase ketuntasan klasikal yang diperoleh peserta didik dalam menangkap makna teks cerita pendek secara lisan. Pada siklus I persentase ketuntasan klasikal aspek sikap religius 85%, meningkat menjadi 92%. Berikutnya persentase aspek sosial pada siklus I seperti teliti 85% meningkat menjadi 92%, kreatif 65% meningkat menjadi 96%, percaya diri 65% meningkat menjadi 97%, tanggung jawab 75% meningkat menjadi 95%. Aspek terakhir yang dijadikan pedoman dalam peningkatan persentase kelas adalah aspek ketrampilan. Aspek ketrampilan siklus I sebesar 69% dan mengalami peningkatan mencapai 100% pada siklus II.The purpose of this research is to explain function by papercraft and tragedy technics on in grasping the meaning of the text short stories, to explain changes of religious attitude, to explain changes of social attitude, and to describe increasing of final skill aspect. The subjects were the skills to grasp the meaning of text short stories orally VIIC class Semarang SMP Negeri 9. Collecting data using a test technique and nontes. From the research, it is known to an increase in the percentage obtained by classical completeness learners in grasping the meaning of the text short stories orally. In the first cycle percentage classical completeness aspect of religious attitudes 85%, increased to 92%. Next percentage of social aspects in the first cycle as closely 85% increased to 92%, increasing to 65% creative 96%, 65% confidence increased to 97%, 75% responsibility increased to 95%. Aspects of knowledge also increased from the first cycle to the second cycle of 71% increased to 100%. The last aspect is used as guidelines in increasing the percentage of the class is the skill aspect. Aspects skills first cycle of 69% and an increase to 100% in the second cycle.

Abstract

This article aimed to describe metaphorical utterance meaning inside of discourse of president, parliament, and major national election 2014. The approach used was a qualitative descriptive approach. The data was the extract of the campaign discourse. The data analysis was done by using a normative method, referential method, and reflective introspective method. The meaning of metaphorical extension inside of the campaign based on comparative theory were (1) objects to refer things, (2) objects to refer situation, (3) objects to refer action, (4) place to refer place, (5) place to refer situation, (6) action to refer action, (7) action to refer situation, (8) situation to refer situation, (9) situation to refer action, and (10) time to refer time. Metaphorical meaning based on interactive theory covers the meaning of metaphorical utterances which changes its meaning into directive meaning tended to or reverse.
