Abstract

Perkembangan sosial, teknologi, dan tuntutan mutu pendidikan yang semakin kompleks mendorong lembaga pendidikan untuk menerapkan pendekatan manajemen yang mampu menjamin kualitas secara berkelanjutan. Total Quality Management (TQM) menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang banyak digunakan untuk merespons tantangan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan systematic literature review guna mensintesis temuan penelitian mengenai penerapan TQM dalam konteks pendidikan. Kajian ini menganalisis 10 artikel ilmiah, terdiri atas 9 jurnal nasional dan 1 jurnal internasional, yang diseleksi melalui tahapan PRISMA. Sintesis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil review mengungkap empat tema utama, yaitu TQM sebagai strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan, pentingnya kepemimpinan dan tata kelola, tantangan budaya organisasi dan keterbatasan sumber daya, serta kebutuhan adaptasi TQM terhadap konteks lokal dan global. Secara teoretis, temuan ini memperkuat posisi TQM sebagai pendekatan manajemen yang fleksibel dan kontekstual dalam pendidikan. Secara praktis, hasil kajian ini memberikan rujukan bagi pengelola dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengkaji dampak jangka panjang penerapan TQM melalui pendekatan empiris.

Abstract

The pandemic era has brought us to situations where social and physical restrictions are demanded. Therefore, like it or not, school principals and supervisors must change the supervision strategy carried out on their teachers and their target schools. Changing supervision strategy needs to be done because learning is no longer done face-to-face in the classroom but online and through clinical supervision activities. However, the problems found indicate that the implementation of clinical supervision has not been optimal because: (1) principals have not effectively carried out their duties as supervisors, such as monitoring, managing, and collaborating with teachers to improve learning. (2) teachers do not yet have adequate skills in managing classes and improving the learning process. (3) teachers and principals are not accustomed to using clinical supervision mobile learning to assist supervision activities in increasing their professionalism. The training activities include the introduction and use of clinical supervision mobile learning, practical sessions on using clinical supervision mobile learning, and mentoring. The training participants consisted of teachers, school principals, and supervisors. The methods used are socialization, training, and focus group discussions. After the training, participants gained new knowledge about mobile learning clinical supervision training. In addition, participants could practice the stages in utilizing clinical supervision mobile learning. Based on the evaluation results, participants argued that this application is essential and relevant for use during covid 19 pandemic conditions.

Abstract

Revolusi digital mengutamakan manusia sebagai sumber inovasi dan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari teknologi. Hal tersebut telah mengubah paradigma dalam kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan tinggi. Pendidikan tinggi dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan revolusi digital agar mampu bertahan, relevan, dan menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu bersaing secara global. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, konsep smart campus, hadir untuk menjawab tuntutan perubahan tersebut. Namun, diperlukan pemimpin yang inovatif dan transformatif untuk mewujudkan smart campus yang bermutu. Dengan demikian, artikel memfokuskan kajiannya pada kepemimpinan transformasional sebagai strategi kunci dalam mewujudkan smart campus di era digital. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), dengan menelaah secara sistematis berbagai publikasi ilmiah yang membahas kepemimpinan transformasional di perguruan tinggi, khususnya dalam konteks pengembangan smart campus pada era revolusi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mewujudkan konsep smart campus karena model kepemimpinan ini mampu membawa perubahan yang signifikan. Pemimpin transformasional mempunyai visi yang jelas, inspiratif, dan memotivasi sehingga mampu membangkitkan semangat civitas akademika dalam mewujudkan smart campus yang bermutu. Karena itu, artikel berkontribusi untuk kemajuan pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, terutama dalam pengembangan transformasi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing collaborative learning methods in improving students’ understanding of the Al-Qur’an Hadith subject at MAN 2 Bukittinggi. The study is motivated by the low level of student engagement in conventional, teacher-centered learning, which limits active student participation. In line with the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka, which emphasizes collaboration, meaningful learning, and project-based activities, a more interactive and contextual learning approach is required. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with three Al-Qur’an Hadith teachers who had implemented collaborative learning for at least one semester, supported by classroom observations and analysis of lesson plan documents. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and verification through source triangulation. The study was conducted from May to June 2025. The findings indicate that collaborative learning is effective in increasing student engagement, improving understanding of Qur’anic verses, and enhancing contextual interpretation analysis skills. In addition, this method fosters socio-religious values such as cooperation, responsibility, and tolerance for differing opinions, making it relevant for Al-Qur’an Hadith learning in the digital era.

Abstract

This study explores the development and implementation of a mobile-based clinical supervision application designed to improve the professional competence of primary school teachers in Indonesia. In response to the increasing demands for reflective teaching and sustainable professional development in the digital era, this research applies a systematic research and development (R&D) approach using the Waterfall model to design, validate, and field-test a supervision tool integrated into mobile platforms. The study engaged 100 primary school teachers and 9 experts in education technology and instructional design. Results indicate high user acceptance, improved reflective practices, and enhanced supervision transparency. The findings support the potential of mobile-based tools to foster teacher growth, inform school management decisions, and transform traditional supervision into a more collaborative and developmental process.

Abstract

The study aims at identifying (1) types of directive acts are employed in the English translation of the Noble Qur’an (2) the function of directive act are in an English translation of the Noble Al- Qur’an. This study employed a critical descriptive research to find the types of directives speech act and uncover the function of directive speech act. This research data is in the form of speech in AlQur’an containing the act of directive speech. Data collection is done by careful and critical reading techniques (critical reading) to obtain speeches that contain the meaning of directives both command and prohibition, either delivered directly or indirectly. The collected data is then selected and classified based on the type of speech nature (commands, prohibitions) and the way it is delivered (direct vs. indirect). The next step is to analyse the data found from each verse in the Al-Quran. This analysis is done with a content analysis approach to uncover the functions of speechless directives found in the nature of the Al-Quran. The use of indirect speech in the Al-Qur'an is intended to glorify speech partners with polite language. Indirect speech is one indicator of language modesty because it is considered more polite than direct speech. Indirect speech in the AlQur'an indicates that the Al-Qur'an is a holy book with a very polite language, the most beautiful language that cannot be matched by anyone from the ancients until the end of time. Based on the data analysis it is found that most of verse uttered by Allah SWT are in the form of command.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate a digital-based archive management model for a quality assurance system in elementary schools, addressing the inefficiency of traditional archiving practices and the absence of digital archive management. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) and a mixed-methods strategy. The population consists of science teachers in Bekasi Regency, with data collection conducted through pre-tests and post-tests. The SIMA application was validated by three experts, followed by small-group trials with 40 teachers and large-group trials with 750 respondents. The effectiveness of the SIMA application was tested using significance testing with a paired-sample t-test. The results reveal that (1) expert validation categorized the digital-based archive management application as "Feasible" for testing; (2) small group trials yielded "Effective" results, with minor revisions; (3) large group trials confirmed the application as "Appropriate" for broader implementation; and (4) the effectiveness test showed a significant difference in respondents' understanding of archive management between pre-test and post-test scores (p = 0.001 < 0.05), indicating the application’s impact. The Archive Management Information System (SIMA) introduces a breakthrough in digital archive management at the elementary school level, offering significant efficiency, accuracy, and user satisfaction advantages. The SIMA application modernizes administrative processes and enhances the quality assurance system in schools. This research provides a practical, scalable solution for improving archiving practices in educational institutions.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Jakarta melalui skema Wilayah Binaan pada STAI Nurul Iman Parung Bogor. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya kualitas penyusunan Laporan Evaluasi Diri (LED) di STAI Nurul Iman yang berdampak pada pencapaian akreditasi program studi. Tujuan kegiatan adalah meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan, dan kesiapan dosen serta tenaga kependidikan dalam menyusun LED sesuai dengan standar BANPT dan LAM. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan intensif, pendampingan kelompok, praktik penyusunan dokumen, serta evaluasi melalui monitoring, review dokumen, dan survei kepuasan peserta. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 26 peserta dan dilaksanakan pada Juni 2025. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan peserta dalam menyusun draft LED berbasis data dan sesuai instrumen terbaru, terlaksananya pendampingan teknis, keterlibatan mahasiswa pascasarjana UNJ, serta luaran berupa dokumentasi video, berita kegiatan, dan artikel ilmiah untuk publikasi. Kegiatan ini juga memperkuat jejaring kerja sama antara UNJ dan STAI Nurul Iman. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas institusional mitra dan menjadi model yang dapat direplikasi di lembaga pendidikan tinggi keagamaan Islam lainnya.

Abstract

This Community Service Program was implemented at Madrasah Aliyah Diniyah Puteri Pekanbaru, located at Jalan KH. Ahmad Dahlan No. 100, Kampung Melayu, Kec. Sukajadi. This program aims to provide training to MA students on the use of video-based inflectional morphemes.The program was motivated by the problem of students who had difficulty understanding and using inflectional morphemes, a linguistic skill that is crucial for improving the accuracy of English reading comprehension. In the context of English as a foreign language (EFL) education in Indonesia, limited exposure to authentic English usage and insufficient emphasis on morphology instruction often hinder students' fluency and accuracy in reading. Mastery of morphological structures, particularly inflectional morphemes, is a crucial foundation for interpreting grammatical meaning and improving overall communication skills. The training participants were 29 Grade 11 science students with low initial comprehension scores based on pre-test results. The training was conducted using discussion and demonstration methods supported by instructional videos containing explanations, examples, and applications of inflectional morphemes in sentence contexts. The activity was carried out in three stages: observation, implementation, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed a significant increase in the average score, from 45.5 before the training to 67.7 after the training. In addition to academic improvement, this program also encouraged student engagement, increased confidence in using English, and fostered active participation in class discussions. These findings confirm that integrating educational videos into English language instruction can effectively enhance understanding of morphological concepts and their application in reading, writing, and real-world communication.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) support the digitalization of learning in higher education, with a focus on their contribution to improving the quality of higher education. Using a qualitative method based on literature studies, this study analyzes various academic sources and MOOC implementation practices at the global and national levels. The results show that MOOCs have great potential in expanding access to education, providing learning flexibility, and supporting the development of essential skills, such as digital literacy and cross-cultural collaboration. In addition, MOOCs contribute to increasing the competitiveness of higher education through global collaboration and diversification of learning methods. However, challenges such as uneven infrastructure and low participation rates require a strategic approach, such as the integration of hybrid learning and innovation in course design. With optimized implementation, MOOCs can be a major catalyst in building inclusive, adaptive, and globally competitive higher education.
