Abstract

This study employs a literature review method that aims to investigate the factors affecting EFL students’ difficulties in writing their undergraduate theses. Writing a thesis in English poses numerous challenges for EFL learners, as it demands strong academic writing skills, sufficient language proficiency, and an understanding of research methodology. The purpose of this research is to identify three dominant categories of influencing factors: linguistic, psychological, and sociocultural. Data were collected by analyzing ten relevant journal articles retrieved from SciSpace, Consensus, and Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish application. The results show that linguistic limitations, psychological barriers such as anxiety and lack of motivation, and sociocultural challenges like insufficient academic support significantly contribute to students' struggles. These findings are expected to assist educators in creating more effective strategies and supportive environments to help EFL students succeed in thesis writing.

Abstract

The transformation of pedagogical paradigms is a response to the changing times, marked by technological advancements, the demand for 21st-century competencies, and an increasing awareness of the need for more humanistic learning approaches. This study aims to examine the new orientations in pedagogy through a systematic review of 30 national and international scholarly journals published over a ten-year period (2015–2025). The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method is employed to identify key themes such as the shifting role of teachers, technology integration, authentic assessment, project-based learning, and character development. The findings indicate that contemporary pedagogy requires a comprehensive transformation in curriculum design, learning strategies, and assessment systems. Furthermore, learning must be contextualized to remain relevant to both local and global needs, while fostering the development of reflective, adaptive, and competitive students. Thus, the new orientation in pedagogy addresses not only the technical aspects of instruction but also reflects a transformative, inclusive, and sustainable vision of education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore students' perceptions of the Teaching and Learning Process (Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar - KBM) involving the use of Learning Management System (LMS), particularly Scola. The research method employed is qualitative, supported by a descriptive quantitative approach, combining observations, literature reviews, and questionnaires as data collection tools. The results of the study indicate a high interest among students in using LMS Scola to support the teaching and learning process. Students express satisfaction with the use of LMS Scola, considering it effective, efficient, user-friendly, and ensuring a high level of data privacy. These findings indicate that the utilization of technology, especially LMS, can have a positive impact on the learning process, motivate students, and create a more interactive learning environment. The implications of this research provide a crucial push to encourage the adoption of LMS, such as Scola, in various educational institutions. By leveraging this technology, it is anticipated that the learning process can become more efficient, effective, and supportive of overall educational development. This study serves as a robust foundation for enhancing the quality of education through the integration of technology in the Teaching and Learning Process (KBM).

Abstract

The Teacher Empowerment Program (PPGP) is a professional development initiative through education, training, and mentoring that focuses on instructional leadership to promote holistic growth and active, proactive participation of students. The program aims to actively develop educators to implement student-centered learning. This qualitative research employs a narrative approach. The research results show positive behavioral changes in teacher mover after completing PPGP, notably impacting the improvement of classroom learning quality and the cultivation of a learning culture among teachers within the school ecosystem. Although some schools have not fully optimized the growth of a learning culture among their teachers, they are moving in the right direction. Challenges and obstacles are inherent in transformation efforts, reinforcing the appropriateness of the Ministry of Education and Culture's decision to appoint Teacher Empowerment Program participants as school leaders. This move strengthens the force for change and minimizes resistance to or rejection of change.

Abstract

Guru yang kreatif mampu menghasilkan metode pengajaran yang fleksibel, inovatif, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan siswa, mempersiapkan mereka untuk menghadapi lingkungan yang tidak pasti dan tidak stabil. Kreativitas guru juga memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan analitis, serta keterampilan kolaboratif dan komunikasi. Tujuan dari tinjauan literatur secara sistematik ini untuk mengulas hasil penelitian yang terkait dengan topik kreativitas guru. Protokol tinjauan sistematis dirancang dan diimplementasikan dalam prosedur pencarian literatur sistematis yang dilakukan di tiga platform yaitu Sciencedirect, Emerald dan Springer Link yang berupa basis data elektronik. Protokol seleksi literatur menggunakan metode PRISMA. Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa penelitian lima tahun terakhir tentang kreativitas guru adalah terkait dengan Teknologi, STEAM, Efikasi diri, lingkungan pendidikan, disposisi kreatif, berfikir kreatif, motivasi dan minat siswa. Agar tercipta guru yang kreatif dalam mengajar perlu kerjasama semua pihak pihak guru harus mau membuka diri mengikuti perkembangan teknologi, serta pihak pimpinan lembaga pendidikan harus mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang kreatif dan inovatif sehingga guru dapat mengembangkan kreativitas mereka dengan penuh percaya diri sehingga dapat secara efektif menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menantang dan inovatif bagi siswa.

Abstract

This research is a literature review that aims to understand the practice of managing time resources in Madrasas and the factors that influence it. By collecting data from various sources, this research resulted in a better understanding of the practice of managing time resources in Madrasas, as well as the factors that influence these practices, such as competence, motivation, work environment, and organizational support. This research provides a better understanding for practitioners, especially teachers in Madrasahs, to understand the factors that influence their practice of managing their time resources and develop effective strategies to increase work productivity and effectiveness. Although this research does not produce novelty directly, it provides a strong basis for further research to develop models or strategies that are more effective in managing time resources in Madrasahs. This research is expected to make a positive contribution to the development of time resource management practices in Madrasas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji optimalisasi peran kepala Raudhatul Athfal dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru berbasis aplikasi literasi digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah literature review dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai jurnal dan artikel terkait topik ini. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa kepala Raudhatul Athfal memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi literasi digital. Kepala Raudhatul Athfal dapat mengoptimalkan perannya melalui pembinaan, pelatihan, dan pengawasan terhadap penggunaan aplikasi literasi digital oleh guruguru di bawah pengawasannya. Kepala Raudhatul Athfal juga dapat berperan sebagai fasilitator untuk menghubungkan guru dengan pelatihan atau sumber daya yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional mereka dalam menggunakan aplikasi literasi digital. Oleh karena itu, kepala Raudhatul Athfal harus memahami pentingnya aplikasi literasi digital dan memberikan perhatian yang cukup terhadap perannya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru. Diharapkan hasil dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan panduan bagi kepala Raudhatul Athfal dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru dan penggunaan aplikasi literasi digital di Raudhatul Athfal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seperti apa kebijakan IPTEK Indonesia, strategi apa yang dikembangkan, apa saja problem utama IPTEK nasional kita, serta apa solusi yang tepat. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif-deskriprif dan menelisik kebijakan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) Indonesia, dimulai dari strategi yang dikembangkan, problem utama IPTEK nasional, dan solusinya. Dinamika kebijakan IPTEK dan inovasi Indonesia bertranformasi dalam lima era, pertama adalah era peletak dasar dan perintis sistem IPTEK dan inovasi (1945-1966), kedua adalah era pengembangan proyek industri strategis nasional (1966-1998), ketiga adalah era penataan kembali sistem nasional penelitian, pengembangan, dan penerapan IPTEK (1998-2004), keempat adalah era membangkitkan sistem inovasi nasional (2004-2014), hingga era kelima yakniintegrasi sistem nasional riset dan inovasi (2015-2024). Pada era kelima ini, dibentuk Badan Riset Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) dengan berbagai kebijakan dan langkah strategis, dengan harapan dapat mengejar ketertinggalan sekaligus menjawab berbagai problema utama yang ada. Adapun hasil temuan adalah pengembangan IPTEK Nasional harus dilihat secara holistik, mulai dari SDM, infrastruktur, tata kelola, anggaran, kebijakan, ekosistem penelitian dan inovasi, dan kesiapan dalam knowledge base economy Beberapa langkah solutif pun ditempuh. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penguatan peran IPTEK membutuhkan komitmen jangka panjang dengan alokasi sumber daya memadai karena tanpa dukungan kelembagaan IPTEK yang baik dan berkualitas, beberapa problem IPTEK yang dihadapi Indonesia akan sulit diselesaikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah tinjauan sistematis dari literatur yang membahas mengenai kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam perspektif neurosains. Tinjauan sistematis dilakukan untuk memperdalam pengetahuan, mengetahui hasil penelitian terdahulu, dan memperjelas masalah penelitian dalam konteks kompetensi pedagogik. Guru dalam proses pembelajaran belum secara menyeluruh menggunakan pendekatan Neurosains. Tinjauan sistematis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). PRISMA membantu para penulis dan peneliti dalam menyusun sebuah systematic review dimana berisikan panduan item apa saja yang harus ada dalam sebuah artikel. Literatur yang dikumpulkan berasal dari artikel yang terbit pada tahun 2018 sampai dengan 2023. Berdasarkan hasil dari membaca keseluruhan isi teks, terdapat 19 yang dijadikan sebagai artikel terpilih. Penelitian ini berusaha melakukan studi literatur mengenai kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam perspektif neurosains.
