Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the application of emergency online learning during covid 19 in STKIP Media Nusantara Citra using the CIPP evaluation model. The Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model was formed to identify the evaluation result for the sake of program improvement. The descriptive qualitative study was used in this research. The subjects of this research were the Director of STKIP MNC, the head of the quality control board, the vice director of STKIP MNC, The lecturers, the academic staff, and the students of STKIP MNC. The study utilized several instruments to gather the data; document analysis, observational checklist, questionnaire, and interview. The result of the study showed that in the context phase, the program was held based on a clear base: the Minister of Education and Culture letter No. 1 of 2020. In the input process. Moodle Learning Management system was the main component of delivering online learning. In the process stage, The Obstacles were internet networks and inadequate student-owned facilities, which are significant hurdles to the program's implementation. Moreover, the last phase, product evaluation, the use of LMS in online learning, eased the measurement of student participation in the program. However, the problems that appeared in the process evaluation must be the base of analysis in the future to ensure the sustainability of the hybrid learning program.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how the indigenous knowledge lexicon of Balinese undagi (traditional architects) in architecture can be transferred into visual cinematography to preserve cultural heritage, with a focus on engaging broader audiences. Employing an iconographic approach, the research analyzes the documentary Calaccitra Undagi Mahottama: Biografi I Gusti Made Gede (1843-1940) through three stages: pre-iconographic identification of visual motifs, iconographic interpretation of thematic meanings, and iconological assessment of cultural significance. Results reveal that Balinese architectural lexicons—such as Tri Mandala, Sanga Mandala, and CWSGR—are effectively abstracted into cinematic frames via intermediality, using symbolic natural imagery and spatial grids rather than physical structures to convey aesthetic and philosophical values. The study concludes that visual cinematography offers a potent medium for preserving architectural heritage by translating static spatial concepts into dynamic narratives, fostering continuity of traditional knowledge, particularly among younger generations, though its efficacy hinges on audience reception and contextual adaptation.

Abstract

Stunting, characterized by inadequate height-for-age, reflects chronic malnutrition in children and remains a critical public health issue, particularly in rural areas of low- and middle-income countries. This review investigates environmental factors influencing stunting, such as food availability, water quality, sanitation, and socioeconomic conditions. The analysis is based on systematic literature reviews of studies from 2010 to 2024, focusing on articles from databases like PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Findings highlight that poor food availability, characterized by limited access to nutritious food, contributes significantly to stunting. Poor water quality and inadequate sanitation lead to frequent intestinal infections, further exacerbating malnutrition and stunting. Socioeconomic factors, including low parental education and economic status, affect access to resources and health services. Data reveal that children from economically disadvantaged families and those with lower maternal education levels are at higher risk of stunting. Interventions such as improving water and sanitation infrastructure, enhancing parental education, and increasing economic opportunities are essential. Additionally, the media plays a role in raising awareness about nutrition. Strengthening community-based programs and improving infrastructure in rural areas can help address the stunting problem effectively. This review underscores the need for multifaceted strategies combining environmental and socioeconomic improvement to combat stunting.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical communication skills based on their self-efficacy during the covid-19 pandemic. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The population was VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bantul. The purposive sampling technique was used to select samples. The subject was grouped based on their self-efficacy with high, medium, and low categories to be tested and interviewed about their mathematical communication skills. The instrument in this study was a self-efficacy questionnaire, a test of mathematical communication skills, and an interview guideline. The triangulation technique was carried out by comparing the mathematical communication skills test results with the interview. The result of mathematical communication skills during the Covid-19 pandemic are not in line with their level of self-efficacy. High self-efficacy does not necessarily make students have high mathematical communication skills. The factor causing the misalignment is the fact that the online learning process carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic does not enough facilitate students to hone their mathematical communication skills, both oral and written.

Abstract

Siswa sekolah dasar terkendala belajar sejarah.
