Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the highest and best use of vacant land located at Jalan Kompak No. 2-3, Pedurungan District, Semarang City. Data used in this research consist of primary and secondary data. The analysis was conducted using the Highest and Best Use (HBU) method, which considers the physical, legal, financial, and maximum productivity aspects of the vacant land. The physical feasibility analysis examines whether a specific property is suitable to be constructed on a particular parcel of land with its unique characteristics. The legal aspect analysis evaluates compliance with regulations to ensure that the proposed use of the land is permitted by applicable laws. The financial analysis ensures that the project offers economically profitable and financially sustainable outcomes. Meanwhile, the maximum productivity analysis identifies the best return level among the land utilization alternatives. Based on the research, developing the land into a convention hall is identified as the optimal alternative.

Abstract

This study analyzes land use changes in Jember Regency, East Java, with a focus on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural land during the period 2013–2023 and predicts land use for the next decade. This study highlights the impact of population growth on land conversion, especially the shift from agricultural land to urban areas that has the potential to threaten food security. By utilizing GLC-FCS30D satellite imagery and combining Markov Chain and Cellular Automata methods, this study analyzes spatial data to predict scenarios of future land use change. The results of the analysis show a significant decrease in the area of ​​rice fields, from 95,985.09 hectares in 2012 to a projected 93,706.22 hectares in 2032. Additionally, we estimate a food deficit in 2032, with rice needs reaching 625,664 tons, while production remains stagnant at 531,314.26 tons. These findings emphasize the importance of formulating strategic land management policies to protect agricultural land and ensure the sustainability of food production amidst the pressures of urbanization and demographic growth.   Penelitian ini menganalisis perubahan penggunaan lahan di Kabupaten Jember, Jawa Timur, dengan fokus pada alih fungsi lahan pertanian menjadi lahan non-pertanian selama periode 2013–2023, serta memprediksi penggunaan lahan untuk satu dekade mendatang. Studi ini menyoroti dampak pertumbuhan penduduk terhadap konversi lahan, khususnya pergeseran dari lahan pertanian ke wilayah perkotaan yang berpotensi mengancam ketahanan pangan. Dengan memanfaatkan citra satelit GLC-FCS30D dan menggabungkan metode Markov Chain dan Cellular Automata, penelitian ini menganalisis data spasial untuk memprediksi skenario perubahan penggunaan lahan di masa depan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan penurunan signifikan pada luas lahan sawah, dari 95.985,09 hektare pada 2012 menjadi proyeksi 93.706,22 hektare pada 2032. Selain itu, diperkirakan akan terjadi defisit pangan pada tahun 2032, dengan kebutuhan beras mencapai 625.664 ton, sementara produksi stagnan di angka 531.314,26 ton. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya perumusan kebijakan pengelolaan lahan yang strategis untuk melindungi lahan pertanian dan menjamin keberlanjutan produksi pangan di tengah tekanan urbanisasi dan pertumbuhan demografis.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental study aiming at analyzing the role of the metacognitive guidance approach in order to improve high-school students' critical thinking skills by applying  Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. This study involved high school students in one of the high schools in the city of Cimahi. In this study, the pretest for mathematical critical thinking skills is administered to two classes of students of control and experiment groups. The experimental group uses the metacognitive guidance approach assisted by GeoGebra software, whereas the control group uses the conventional method. Both classes receive the same hours of study, mathematics teacher as well as mathematics contents. The researcher conducted observations only in the experimental class. At the end of the treatment, a post-test for the two groups was carried out regarding students’ mathematical critical thinking skills included processing the results of the test, namely the data. After this research has been carried out, the next step is to analyze the data and draw conclusions of the research. In analyzing the data, it is categorized into three levels, namely high, medium and low abilities.  The data is analyzed by means of t-test to test the difference of two means of students’ critical thinking ability. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS software. The analysis shows that there is a significant difference in mathematics critical thinking ability between the two groups of students.

Abstract

The Field Work Lecture was held in Hamlet One, Cinunuk Village, Wanaraja District, Garut Regency, West Java for 4 weeks starting from August 1 to August 31, 2022. Hamlet One, Cinunuk Village was the village chosen to be the KKN target village. The village's abundant potential is one of the main aspects of KKN implementation in order to increase village economic progress by developing tourist objects. KKN begins with village observations to see the potential of the village which will be the main target in the implementation of KKN. Sequentially designed programs start with discussions between KKN groups, village officials, and the local community, and specifically those that directly intersect with the designed programs. The implementation of the KKN program is carried out in a balanced manner starting with planning, implementation, and evaluation at the end of each program. The results achieved from the entire KKN program include developing community skills and helping to develop human resources to increase the potential of the local village. The literacy program is also implemented to improve the village economy by developing quality digital-based tourist objects. In the environmental field, the development of the promotion concept through digital platforms received a response and active participation from the residents of hamlet one, Cinunuk Village, Wanaraja District, Garut Regency, West Java.

Abstract

Peranan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dapat memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi. Namun kondisinya di lapangan, bahan ajar pada pembelajaran matematika yang diterapkan masih belum sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Sehingga siswa kurang dapat memahami materi dan berujung pada tidak maksimalnya capaian pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan desain e-didaktis melalui bahan ajar elektronik berbasis project menggunakan Augmented Reality, agar pembelajaran terpusat pada siswa dan pembelajaran lebih interaktif sehingga dapat mengkonstruksi penemuan konsep oleh siswa, sehingga siswa lebih mudah memahami materi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) yang mengimplementasikan model Borg and Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu melalui observasi dan angket. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa SMP kelas VIII. Terdapat 5 ahli sebagai validator diantaranya 2 dosen prodi pendidikan matematika yang terdiri dari 1 orang ahli pembelajaran dan 1 orang ahli media pembelajaran serta 3 guru mata pelajaran matematika SMP. Identifikasi masalah awal melalui analisis hambatan belajar siswa yang dilakukan dengan mengaitkan alur pembelajaran yang dapat dikembangkan dengan membuat alur lintasan belajar (learning trajectory) untuk selanjutnya mendesain e-didaktis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah desain e-didaktis melalui bahan ajar elektonik melalui aplikasi flipbook dengan menggunakan Augmented Reality yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan metode penelitian pengembangan model Borg and Gall, berdasarkan hasil analisis validasi bahan ajar dengan rata-rata 3,24 menunjukkan bahan ajar valid dan layak digunakan, dan uji kepraktisan 78%  menunjukkan kriteria praktis untuk digunakan serta 85% menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar siswa. Sehingga bahan ajar yang dikembangkan sudah efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.The role of teaching materials that suit students' needs can help students understand the material. However, conditions in the field, the teaching materials used in mathematics learning are still not in accordance with needs. So students are less able to understand the material and this results in less than optimal learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to develop e-didactical design through project-based electronic teaching materials using Augmented Reality, so that learning is student-centered and learning is more interactive so that students can construct concept discoveries. The research method used is development research (R & D) which implements the Borg and Gall model. Data collection techniques in this e-didactic design development research use two types, namely observation and questionnaires. The research subjects were junior high school students. There are 5 experts as validators including 2 mathematics education study program lecturers, namely learning experts and learning media experts as well as 3 junior high school mathematics subject teachers. Identify initial problems with learning obstacle analysis which is carried out by linking learning paths that can be developed by creating learning trajectories to further design e-didactics. The result of this research is an e-didactical design using electronic teaching materials via a flipbook application using Augmented Reality which was developed in accordance with the Borg and Gall model development research method, based on the results of the validation analysis of teaching materials with an average of 3.24 indicating that the teaching materials are valid and suitable for use, and a practicality test of 78% shows practical criteria for use and 85% shows student learning completeness. So that the teaching materials developed are effective for use in learning.

Abstract

Sedimentasi yang terbawa oleh aliran Sungai Lesti dan terakumulasi di Waduk Sengguruh dapat menyebabkan penurunan kapasitas tampungan serta efisiensi pembangkitan energi PLTA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis distribusi ukuran butiran sedimen di Sungai Lesti berdasarkan hasil pengambilan sampel di lapangan. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara langsung pada beberapa segmen sungai menggunakan alat Grab Sampler untuk memperoleh material dasar (bed material), yang kemudian dianalisis di laboratorium melalui uji saringan dan hidrometer. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa distribusi ukuran butiran bervariasi di sepanjang aliran. Di bagian hulu, sedimen didominasi pasir kasar (d50 = 0,69 mm; d90 = 12,19 mm). Pada segmen tengah, didominasi pasir sedang (d50 = 0,38 mm; d90 = 1,35 mm). Sedangkan di bagian hilir, partikel lebih halus (d50 = 0,07 mm; d90 = 1,41 mm). Data ini menjadi dasar penting dalam estimasi laju sedimentasi yang masuk ke Waduk Sengguruh menggunakan pendekatan empiris.

Abstract

Dialect is one of the forms of language variation that reflects the social and geographical identity of its speakers, and it plays an important role in cultural representation in media, including anime. The Kansai dialect, spoken in Japan's Kansai region, varies from standard Japanese in phonetics, grammar, and vocabulary. By analyzing Inuyama Aoi's dialogues, the study aims to understand how the Kansai dialect shapes her character and influences viewers' perceptions. The methodology involves transcribing and analyzing her dialogues to identify distinctive Kansai dialect features such as pitch accent, grammar, and vocabulary. The study seeks to reveal how the dialect contributes to portraying Inuyama Aoi's personality and background. Initial findings indicate that the Kansai dialect highlights her regional identity and cultural background, enhances the anime's authenticity, and adds humor and warmth to her character. This research deepens our understanding of dialects in anime and their role in character development, providing insights into nuanced and authentic character portrayals.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the influence of the Let’s Read and Kipin School 4.0 applications on the reading interest of fourth-grade students at Insan Madani Integrated Islamic Elementary School during the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, utilizing a pretest posttest control group design. There are three groups: experiment group 1 (Let’s Read), experiment group 2 (Kipin School 4.0), and a control group (using only reading books). The sample was taken through simple random sampling, and the instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using t-tests after performing normality and homogeneity tests. The results show that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating a significant influence of the applications on reading interest. The average posttest score for experiment group 1 is 74.30, for experiment group 2 is 70.67, and for the control group is 61.24. With a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, there is a significant difference between the average scores of the experimental and control groups. The conclusion of this study indicates a positive effect of the Let’s Read and Kipin School 4.0 applications on students' reading interest compared to traditional methods.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis implementasi kebijakan transaksi non tunai bagi pemerintah desa di Kecamatan Kelam Permai Kabupaten Sintang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dengan paradigma kualitatif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data dilapangan atau pelakanaan penelitian, meliputi observasi, wawancara dan pengumpulan dokumen serta mencari sumber-sumber yang dapat mendukung serta melakukan pengolahan dan analisa data. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel sumber data dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Infroman Utama pada penelitian ini adalah lima orang kaur keuangan desa yang berstatus sebagai desa mandiri dengan koneksi jaringan internet yang stabil. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan Teori Implementasi Kebijakan dari Edward III yaitu komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi dan struktur birokrasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis bahwa pada faktor komunikasi bahwa Pemerintah Kabupaten Sintang dalam melaksanakan kebijakan penerapan transaksi non tunai bagi pemerintah desa belum melaksanakan sosialisasi berkala secara formal maupun informal sehingga implementor di Desa yaitu Kepala Urusan Keuangan mengalami kendala dalam menjalankan kebijakan transaksi non tunai, kemudian belum adanya regulasi terkait petunjuk teknis dalam menjalankan kebijakan transaksi non tunai, selanjutnya pada faktor sumber daya bahwa perangkat desa belum sepenuhnya memahami tugas pokok dan fungsinya serta kualifikasi pendidikan tidak sesuai dengan jabatan yang di embam oleh perangkat desa khususnya perangkat desa yang membidangi urusan keuangan. Sehingga saran yang diberikan kepada Pemerintah Kabupaten Sintang khususnya Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Pemerintah Desa Kabupaten Sintang adalah melaksanakan komunikasi secara formal melalui sosialisasi maupun secara informal secara berkala kepada Pemerintah Desa khususnya di Kecamatan Kelam Permai serta perlu dilaksanakan bimbingan teknis bagi perangkat desa agar memahami tugas pokok dan fungsinya sebagai perangkat desa.

Abstract

Cognitive mathematics games are an innovative tool to enhance student engagement by visualizing abstract mathematical concepts, which are often perceived as difficult, into something easier and more enjoyable. The goal is to help students realize that mathematics is not something to be feared, but rather a challenge that they can solve on their own. By using cognitive mathematics games, the interaction between teachers and students in the classroom becomes more conducive and enjoyable. This media is designed using Pygame and PygZero, which are game development applications in Python programming, making it easier for anyone — including educators, teachers, and lecturers — to create the media. The media was introduced to students of SMA Negeri Rongga in West Bandung as a trial in the development of cognitive mathematics games, where it served as a motivational tool to stimulate students’ logical thinking processes in solving problems through gameplay. Examples of the games introduced to students include the Tower of Hanoi and Frog Jump, both of which are linked to mathematical concepts as the final solution. At the end of the community service activity, students gave positive feedback on the use of the cognitive game media
