Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengungkap unsur budaya postkolonialisme dalam puisi Gugur karya W.S Rendra. Jenis penelitian yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kajian postkolonialisme. Postkolonialisme adalah suatu kerangka konseptual dalam kajian ilmu sosial dan humaniora yang mengeksplorasi dampak dan warisan kolonialisme di dunia pasca-kolonial. Pendekatan ini mencoba untuk memahami, mengevaluasi, dan merespon dinamika sosial, budaya, politik, dan ekonomi yang terjadi setelah periode kolonial. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu bersumber dari larik-larik puisi Gugur karya W.S Rendra. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pembacaan semiotic tingkat pertama yaitu heuristic. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pembacaan semiotic tingkat kedua yaitu hermeneutic. Hasil dari penelitian puisi "Gugur" karya W.S. Rendra menghadirkan keindahan (1) bahasa melalui campur kode, menciptakan kedalaman makna dan kekayaan budaya. Gaya bahasa puitis dengan penggunaan metafora, simbolisme, dan dramatisasi menciptakan kesan seni yang mendalam. (2) Puisi mencerminkan pengetahuan akan nilai-nilai patriotisme, kepahlawanan, dan keterkaitan manusia dengan tanah. (3) Gambaran kekerabatan terdekat menunjukkan keteguhan hubungan dalam konteks perjuangan identitas budaya. (4) Penggunaan teknologi sebagai simbol perlawanan menciptakan dimensi perjuangan dalam sistem mata pencaharian hidup. (5) Pertempuran, usaha keras, keberanian, dan pertalian dengan tanah menciptakan citra sistem mata pencaharian hidup dalam konteks perjuangan dan identitas budaya. (6) Puisi juga mencerminkan nilai-nilai agama, seperti cinta pada tanah air dan pengorbanan, serta (7) menyajikan kesan kesenian melalui gaya bahasa puitis, ritme, dan struktur naratif. Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) mengungkapkan sentimentalisme dalam romantisme novel Rindu karya Tere Liye (2) mengungkapkan kembali ke alam dalam romantisme novel Rindu karya Tere Liye (3) mengungkapkan sentimentalisme dan kembali ke alam dalam pandangan dunia pengarang novel Rindu karya Tere Liye. Manfaatnya agar penulis muda mengetahui cara mengarang Tere Liye dan mengeksplorasi romantisme untuk menjadi bahan penulisan karya sastra berikutnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Teori yang digunakan yaitu struktural genetik Lucian Goldmann fokus penelitiannya pada romantisme tokoh. Sumber data dari penelitian ini Novel Rindu karya Tere Liye terbitan tahun 2014. Datanya berupa peristiwa yang mengandung romantisme yang diungkapkan dalam cerita menggunakan satuan naratif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa bentuk romantisme dalam novel Rindu karya Tere Liye dengan ungkapan sentimentalisme yang dominan dengan melibatkan perasaan tokoh utama Gurutta, Ambo Uleng, Daeng Andipati, Bonda Upe, Anna, Elsa, dan tokoh lainnya disampaikan dengan perasaan sedang jatuh cinta dan perasaan menyenangkan menyedihkan lainnya. Sepertinya pengarang Tere Liye sangat peka terhadap perasaan perempuan walaupun beliau laki-laki pilihan katanya yang bagus membuat novel ini diminati dibaca oleh banyak orang. Terkumpul 43 data untuk sentimentalis dan 33 data kembali ke alam.

Abstract

Character education in Indonesia is currently facing various challenges, especially due to the growing social dynamics influenced by global culture, which tends to overlook local cultural values. In this context, literary works, particularly poetry, play a vital role in conveying messages of local wisdom that deeply influence character development. The poem collection Ayat Sunyi by Emi Suy highlights the importance of values such as cooperation, tolerance, honesty, justice, wisdom, human-nature relations, and religiosity. Using a literary sociology approach and sociological theory, this study reveals that local wisdom values, as part of social morality, are strongly portrayed in the poems. The analysis shows that the poems not only depict harmony between humans and nature but also emphasize the role of women as guardians of cultural values and agrarian spirituality. These poems emphasize the importance of preserving cultural traditions that are now being marginalized, while also educating students to appreciate their culture, value life, and develop responsible character. Thus, the poems serve a significant role in shaping a better young generation by instilling values of local wisdom that nurture individuals to be caring, empathetic, and deeply rooted in national identity. The symbolism of Dewi Sri, the earth, and prayer in the poems provides a strong foundation for reinforcing character education, preparing Indonesia's Golden Generation to become individuals of noble character, empathy, and cultural integrity.

Abstract

Religious tolerance is a cornerstone of social harmony in Indonesia’s multicultural society, yet its consistent practice remains a challenge amid ongoing cases of religious discrimination and intolerance. While Indonesia is often praised globally for its interfaith harmony, there is still a significant gap between the ideal values of tolerance and their implementation in daily life. This study aims to examine how the values of religious tolerance are represented in the local folklore Kelenteng Jamblang from Cirebon, West Java, which narrates the harmonious interaction between Chinese and Muslim communities in the past. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis, the research analyzes narrative elements, character actions, and symbolic representations within the folklore text. The findings reveal that inclusive leadership, mutual respect across religious boundaries, and collective action such as gotong royong are core reflections of religious moderation within the story. The character of Njo Kie Tjit, who embodies dual cultural and religious identities, serves as a central figure showing that tolerance is practiced through concrete social actions. The conclusion highlights that traditional folklore can serve as a valuable medium for transmitting interfaith values, strengthening the spirit of pluralism and religious moderation. This study implies that incorporating local narratives into education and interfaith dialogue can reinforce inclusive values and contribute to social cohesion in contemporary multicultural societies.

Abstract

Social media has become a dominant platform in political communication in the digital era. This article explores the influence of social media on political participation, particularly in the context of Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive research method, this study reveals that social media not only enhances access to political information but also strengthens citizens' engagement in the political process. However, challenges such as the spread of misinformation and political polarization also arise. This analysis provides essential insights for developing more inclusive and effective political participation strategies in the digital era. In the digital era, social media has emerged as a dominant platform for political communication, reshaping how individuals participate in the political process. This article examines the influence of social media on political participation, with a specific focus on the Indonesian context. Through a qualitative descriptive research approach, the study highlights how social media not only expands access to political information but also fosters greater civic engagement. However, it also addresses the challenges posed by misinformation and political polarization. The findings offer critical insights into developing more inclusive and effective strategies for political participation in the digital age.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between the poem Kukusan by Emi Suy and the poem Bunda Airmata by MH Ainun Najib. The theory used in this research uses comparative literary theory which discusses metaphor, symbols and relevance in the two poems. The data collection technique uses first level semiotic reading, namely heuristics. The data analysis technique uses the second level of semiotic reading, namely hermeneutics. The results of the analysis of the poem "Bunda Airmata" by M.H. Ainun Najib and "Kukusan" by Emi Suy are that they both raise the theme of a mother's struggle, although through different writing styles, context and symbolism. In "Our Lady of Tears," the mother is described as a figure who has a deep spiritual dimension, guides her children in religious values, and is able to convey emotional strength through her tears. On the other hand, "Steamed" depicts the mother as a figure who faces struggles like the bamboo steaming process, reflecting resilience and strength in facing the pressures and difficulties of life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perspektif feminisme liberal yang terkandung dalam karakter tokoh utama ‘Amba’. Dalam novel ini, tokoh ‘Amba’ digambarkan sebagai perempuan yang kuat dan tegas yang berjuang untuk hak-hak perempuan atas dasar kebebasan, kesetaraan, dan kemampuan untuk mengejar aspirasi tanpa dibatasi oleh norma-norma sosial. Bentuk ketidakadilan gender dan perjuangan tokoh utama ditinjau dari segi feminisme liberal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari data deskriptif berupa kalimat kutipan dan gambaran perjuangan tokoh utama dalam novel yang diamati. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Amba Karya Laksmi Pamuntjak. Metode pengumpulan data adalah teknik baca dan catat, dan teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya ketidaksetaraan gender dan perjuangan perempuan dalam meraih hak-haknya. Amba menjadi simbol perlawanan terhadap ketidaksetaraan gender dan aspirasi individu perempuan untuk meraih kebebasan penuh.Kata Kunci: Novel, Tokoh Utama, Feminisme Liberal

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Child-Friendly Schools (CFS) through the Nature School model in Madura. The aim is to identify the concrete steps taken by Nature Schools in realizing the principles of SRA and to identify the long-term benefits for child development derived from this approach. The qualitative research method with a case study of Excellentia Nature School in Madura was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation from Nature Schools in Madura. The research findings show that Nature Schools in Madura have successfully created a safe, comfortable, and supportive learning environment for the holistic development of children by utilizing the natural environment as an open classroom, interactive learning methods, emphasis on character education, and active involvement of parents and the community. The benefits include increased motivation and academic achievement, positive character development, higher environmental awareness, and better physical and mental health. This study provides insights into best practices in implementing CFS through the Nature School approach and can serve as a reference for other schools wishing to adopt similar concepts.

Abstract

The digital era has significantly transformed the entrepreneurial landscape by enabling startups to not only leverage collaboration and technology but also to access new opportunities for building long-term and sustainable growth. In this changing environment, collaborative innovation ecosystems play an increasingly crucial role in integrating diverse stakeholders, such as universities, corporations, governments, financial institutions, and community organizations, in order to foster environmentally friendly and socially responsible entrepreneurship. These ecosystems encourage continuous interaction, shared learning, and the cocreation of solutions that benefit multiple sectors simultaneously. This study explores a wide range of strategic opportunities that startups can utilize to strengthen sustainable growth through collaboration within rapidly evolving digital ecosystems, while also identifying and analyzing the barriers that continue to hinder this process. The research findings reveal that digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, and platform-based collaboration systems significantly improve knowledge sharing, increase resource efficiency, expand market access, and enhance innovation capabilities across industries. However, challenges remain, including unequal access to funding opportunities, weak and inconsistent regulatory support from governments, limited sustainability literacy among entrepreneurs, and the digital divide that restricts participation for smaller or rural startups. The study ultimately concludes that collaborative innovation ecosystems have strong potential to empower startups to become real agents of sustainable transformation, provided that they consistently integrate environmental and social values into their business models, strengthen partnerships with stakeholders, and effectively utilize digital infrastructure in a strategic and responsible manner.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a wide range of diversity in language, religion, culture, ethnicity, and customs. Diversity can trigger differences that have a negative impact, if not balanced with tolerance. Tolerance must be introduced early so that students have character values that can provide for the future. This research aims to analyze the role of teachers in applying the value of multicultural education in the learning process and the importance of instilling the value of multicultural education in students. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation until triangulation. The data analysis technique used refers to the Miles & Huberman theory, namely with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. The results of this study show that the implementation of multicultural education values can be done through habituation activities of character values in students that are arranged in the teacher's strategy.
