The intertextual study between Ajidarmaâ€™s Kitab Omong Kosong and the Ramayana romance hypogram composed by Rajagopalachari leads us to the defamiliarization of the hegemony of Rama's power, deviating to the heinous, barbaric, and harassing domination of power over the people of the Ayodya colony. In the Ramayana romance, the hegemony of Rama's power, as awatara Lord Vishnu, being honored by his people for his courage against Rahwana's wrath. The hegemony of Rama's power goes hand in hand with the moral, the virtues of life, and the dharma. Ajidarmaâ€™s Kitab Omong Kosong is marked by defamiliarization motives. The motives form a plot (sjuzet) that deviates from the Ramayana and creates the wholeness of the story (fabula) which is constructed with a unique structure. Rama's character is told by defamiliar motives that (1) deviate not far from convention, (2) balanced between convention and innovation, and (3) free oneself by convention. Ajidarma created the story of Rama with several advantages: (1) deviating the role of the characters, thus avoiding the binary opposition of black and white characters in reaching power, (2) the stories being woven in a unique story structure, alternating between myths, facts, and literary images, (3) as a whole the novel it creates presents a peculiar and unique story (fabula), and (4) the novel becomes a plural text, i.e. a text with plural interpretations.

Absurdism in drama script is different from the concept of absurdism in drama performance. In the performance, the absurdism can be firmly differentiated. In the script, this concept is still very confusing. Such issue will be worked out in this research by solving the following problems. 1) How is the form of absurdism in Noerâ€™s texts of the drama tetralogy? 2) How is the characteristic of Indonesian typical absurdism in Noerâ€™s tetralogy? 3) How is the redefinition of Indonesian distinctive absurdism based on the characteristic of Indonesian typical absurdism in Noerâ€™s drama scripts? The method used is hermeneutics with a semiotic approach. Based on the discussion, the following conclusions are obtained. 1) Absurdism in the tetralogy Noerâ€™s drama appears in the form of themes, characters naming, and plot or storyline. 2) The typical absurdism of Indonesian drama written by Noer is as follows. First, absurdity in drama actually appears from the belief in God. Second, human life is considered irrational, meaningless, worthless, or even playful. 3) The Indonesian distinctive absurdism redefinition based on the characteristic of Indonesian typical absurdism in Noerâ€™s Orkes Madun is as follows. The typical Indonesian absurd drama text is a drama text that tells of the human life that is considered irrational, less meaningful, worthless, meaningless, or even considered to be playful, and arising out of trust in God.

Tokoh Salya dalam wiracarita Mahabharata (MBh) merupakan salah seorang tokoh yang mengalami transformasi di dalam teks cerita pewayangan. Salah satu aspek yang mengalami perubahan adalah kehebatannya di dalam peperangan. Penelitian ini mengungkap transformasi kehebatan tokoh Salya ke dalam teks cerita pewayangan yang dipublikasikan di situs-situs internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) gambaran kehebatan Salya dalam peperangan dalam teks transformasi merupakan penerusan konvensi dari teks MBh, akan tetapi detail dan motifnya merupakan penyimpangan; (2) senjata yang dikuasai Salya di dalam teks transformasi merupakan penyimpangan dari teks MBh, akan tetapi merupakan penerusan konvensi dari teks kakawin; dan (3) kehebatan Salya sebagai kusir kereta (sarathy) dalam teks tranformasi merupakan penerusan konvensi dari teks MBh, tetapi motif pemanfaatan kemampuannya merupakan penyimpangan. Kata kunci: Transformasi, Salya, Mahabharata, cerita pewayangan Abstract One of Salyaâ€™s tranformation from the Mahabharata (MBh) to the wayang texts is his power. This research is held to reveal such transformations as published in the websites as wayang stories. The result show that (1) Salyaâ€™s power in the warfare described in the transformastion texts is a conventional continuation from the MBh text, but its detail and motif show some deviations; (2) weapons belongs to Salya in the transformation texts is a deviation from MBh text, but a continuation from kakawin text; and (3) Salya as powerful sarathy in the transformation texts is a conventional continuation from the MBh text, but the motif of its usage show a deviation. Abstrak Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bentuk, makna, dan fungsi upacara tradisi Ngasa bagi masyarakat pendukungnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan folklor dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi seleksi data, mengidentifikasi data, dan deskripsi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) bentuk ritual yang menyertai keberadaan tradisi Ngasa meliputi tradisi bersih desa, ritual ciprat suci, perang centong, arak-arakan gunungan, ritual doa Ngasa, dan tradisi selamatan hidangan Ngasa; (2) fungsi tradisi Ngasa bagi masyarakat pendukungnya memiliki empat fungsi, yaitu fungsi religi, fungsi sosial dan budaya, fungsi pendidikan, dan fungsi hiburan; (3) makna upacara tradsi Ngasa terdapat di setiap prosesi tradisi tersebut. Kata Kunci: tradisi Ngasa, bentuk, makna, fungsi. Abstract This article aims to describe the form, the meaning, and the function of Ngasa tradition ceremony for its supporting communities. The study used a folkloric approach with qualitative descriptive methods. Data collected through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis included data selection, identifying data, and data descriptions. The results showed that: (1) The ritual form accompanying the existence of Ngasa tradition includes the village's clean traditions, ciprat suci rituals, Centong Wars, Gunungan procession, Ngasa prayer ritual, and the tradition of Ngasa dishes; (2) Ngasa tradition has four functions for their supporting community, namely religious function, social and culture function, education function, and entertainment function; (3) The meaning of the ceremony of Tradsi Ngasa is in every procession of the tradition. Ngundhuh Wohing Pakarti concept derived from the principle of harmony in Javanese culture of ethical theory. The concept was realized various works of literature one of which is the puppet story Abhimanyu Ranjab, scenes in Baratayuda War tells the causes and consequences of Abimanyu oath to Utari.. The source of story has an interesting value, Serat Baratajuda written by MB. Radyomardhowoe et al, since it told the previous play, namely Kalabendana Lena. The research objectives are: toexplain the coherence concept of Ngundhuh Wohing Pakarti in this story. The study used qualitative approach, the data was collected and analysis using literature review, heuristic, note-taking techniques, hermeneutics and content analysis. The results showed that the interpertation meaning of the wayang story in Ronald Barthes' semiotic theory, found there was a sequential picture among the characters' actions. Point of view of the conformity Javanese culture theory was the interrelation of these as a picture used as moral message of the story. The perspective of the postcolonial literature theory those the connection and the moral message belong to the representation of the mimicry critique, the practice of Dutch colonialism as a karmic act from point of view of the harmony of Javanese culture. Folklore contains elements of language, ethnicity, and local potential. These three elements affect the human community. This is needed for social adaptation, especially for children in the phase of psychological development. The goal is to interact socially, get to know ethnicity and find habits of life. This kind of local potential contains the right stimulation to be studied. Through the single exponential smoothing method in an adaptive approach, the alpha generation is able to recognize the wisdom of their area, Kudus district. Developments in the geographical context, Pancasila values, and healthy living are things that are developed in the structure of the story. However, the development still considers the authenticity of the story source. The three research results include the composition of the Bulusan folklore book with animative nuances that are adapted to local potential, the response of the millennial generation of 81%, and the sustainability of the book concept for its interest until 2024. Conclusions about whether there is no animation element that contains Pancasila values and local potential need to be made every year. 3 years for maximum effect. Understanding the contents of the exposition text about the traditional mantu is one of the basic competencies contained in the standard content of Javanese language subjects. Students are expected to fulfill completeness in learning traditional mantu ceremonies. This makes students feel bored and lack an understanding of the material well. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out the needs of students and teachers regarding the development of android-based mantu traditional ceremonial learning media, 2) to develop learning media for android-based mantu traditional ceremonies, and 3) to make prototypes for developing traditional ceremonies based on android. This research uses a development (Research and Development) approach. The procedure of this study is 1) analysis of potential and problems, 2) collecting data, 3) product design, 4) design validation/expert testing, and 5) revisions. Data obtained using 1) interview, and 2) questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the validation test for prototypes of traditional ceremonial learning based on Android are appropriate and appropriate for students and teachers. This media is packaged or printed in the form of an android application.

This study aims to (1) describe the form and function of figurative language in the poetry anthology Perahu Kertas by Sapardi Djoko Damono, (2) describes the form and function of images used in the poetry anthology Perahu Kertas by Sapardi Djoko Damono, (3) describes the relationship of figurative language to images in the poetry anthology Perahu Kertas by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The analytical method used is descriptive semiotic analysis through heuristic and hermeneutic reading to reveal stylistic aspects and comparative analysis to describe the relationship between forms and functions of figurative language and imagery in the poetry anthology Perahu Kertas by Sapardi Djoko Damono.The results of the study based on data analysis showed (1) figurative language found, among others, was dominated by figure of speech and idioms with a limited number. The function of figure of speech is found, namely as the creation of aesthetic effects and comparison of meaning (2) the imagery data found is dominated by motion imagery with the function of reinforcing meaning to form imagery for the readers (3) there is a relationship between forms of figurative language and imagery in poetry anthology Perahu Kertas by Sapardi Djoko Damono

This study aims to analyze the efforts of the Lasi character in fighting for his identity, and why it was fought for. This research is a qualitative research that uses a sociological literature approach. The data source of this research is the text of the novel Bekisar Maerah by Ahmad Tohari, published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama, in Jakarta in 2013. The data in this study are fragments of the novel Bekisar Merah by Ahmad Tohari which allegedly contain identity. The research results are as follows; 1) the Lasi figure found in fighting for his identity, 2) found the identity that Lasi was fighting for, namely self-identity and social identity, 3) found three reasons why Lasi struggled for her identity. First, because of her dignity as a woman. Second, because Lasi upheld the teachings of her mother. Third, because of love and loyalty to her husband.

Javanese poetry (geguritan) learning still does not get maximum attention because there are no (geguritan) books that are integrated with local wisdom values. This research is to integrate Javanese poetry (geguritan) with the value of local wisdom contained in the enrichment book. This study aims to develop an enrichment book for writing Javanese poetry (geguritan) containing the value of local wisdom; produce a valid enrichment book; test the acceptance of the enrichment book and test the effectiveness of learning to write geguritan using the developed enrichment book. This research uses the model of Research and Development (R and D)The results showed that The results showed that enrichment book was valid with a score of 3.10was valid with a score of 3.10; the acceptance test of this enrichment book is 77.56% and the learning effectiveness test using this enrichment book is effective with an average value of 87.63. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the geguritan writing enrichment book is effective to be applied in elementary schools and is able to improve the quality of learning
