Abstract

Background: Efforts to increase exclusive breastfeeding have become a Global Action since 1990. However, exclusive breastfeeding in Yogyakarta in 2010 was still low at 40.57%, still far from the national target of 80%. Several studies have shown that the onset of lactation may be an obstacle of mothers in breastfeeding their babies exclusively. One cause in the delay of the onset of lactation is body mass index (BMI). Objective: To determine the relationship of body mass index (BMI) to the onset of lactation in primiparous postpartum mothers in Panembahan Senopati Hospital of Bantul. Methods: The study design was a prospective cohort with primiparous postpartum mothers as the study subjects. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 62 people. The data were collected using observation sheet instruments. The data were analyzed with univariable and bivariable analysis using Chi-square test with a significance level of p <0.05. Results: Based on the results of the research, overweight BMI with a slow onset of lactation was 30.6%, and with a rapid onset of lactation was 3.2%. Normal BMI with a slow onset of lactation was 6.5%, and with a rapid onset of lactation was 59.7%. The result of Chi-square showed a significance of p value of 0.00 (p <0.05) and a value of contingency coefficient of 0.62. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between BMI and the onset of lactation in primiparous postpartum mothers in Panembahan Senopati Hospital of Bantul. It is recommended that pregnant women prepare themselves for pregnancy in order to keep their body mass index in the normal range to avoid the delay of the onset of lactation. Abstract

Background : Based on WHO (World health Organization), amount 3,6 million (3%) from 120 million baby birth befound neonatorum asfiction almost 90%, baby mortality happen in developing country. Main factor of neonatal mortality are neonatorum asfiction (27%) and low Birth Weight. Purpose : For know relation low birth weight with neonatorum asfiction. Methode : Analitik survey with observasional crossectional design place of riset in perinatologi ward RSUD Wates. Subject of riset is all baby birth in perinatologi ward year 2 on with inclusion and exclusion standart. Data seek by medical record with secondary data used analysis kendall,s tau technique and correlation coefision. Result : Amount 326 subject of riset, almost baby birth is median birth weight 217 baby (67%). Almost asfiction in baby birth with apgar score 4 ? 6 is 159 baby (49%). There was relationship low birth weight with neonatorum asfiction with p value 0,013. Conclusion : There was relationship low birth weight with neonatorum asfiction is very low. Abstract

Background: Puberty is a crucial time where a child has a rapid growth physically, psychologically and emotionally. The children who are ready to face the puberty will appear confident and comfort, on the other hand those who have difficulty to face the puberty will appear insecure and not confident. The parents? support hoped helped the children to be ready to face the puberty. Objectives: To determine the relation between parents? support and children readiness to face the puberty of the student in 5th year and 6th year of Elementary School 1 Reco, Kertek, Wonosobo. Methods: This research is descriptive analitic with cross sectional. The sample were taken by total sampling pairing, which took all the 68 students and their parents of 5th and 6th year of Elementary School 1 Reco, Kertek, Wonosobo. The used instrument is questionaire whose validity and realibility has already tested. The used data analizing is chi square, with significance ?=0,05. Result: The support of the parents are in good range,the support of the family in facing physical change 57,4%, psychological 73,5% and sexually 41,2%. Most of the students of Elementary School 1 Reco, Kertek, Wonosobo about 67,6% are ready to face the puberty. Conclusion:A positive and significant relation are found bertween the support of the parents and the children readiness to face the puberty, it is based on significantcy p=0,000&lt;0,05 with the strength of the relation is average (C=0,454) in phsical changes, significantcy p=0,003&lt;0,05 with the strength of the relation is average (C=0,379) in psychosocial changes, and in sexual changes with the strength of the relation is average (C=0,553). Suggestion: The children considered ready to face the puberty because that is a normal phase and every person will face it in their childhood, also the parents must support of their children to face the puberty. Abstract

Background: The occurrence of diarrhea in children is correlated with parents’ practices on hygiene (hand- washing) behavior. The results of preliminary studies at Pediatric Ward Wonosari General Hospital indicated that most parents have lack of knowledge on the correct procedure of hand washing. Objectives: The aim of this research was to determine the effect of health education about hygiene on parents' behavior in performing hygiene in children with diarrhea in Pediatric Ward Wonosari General Hospital. Methods: This research was quasi experimental with one group pre-test and post-test design. Research was conducted at Pediatric Ward in Wonosari General Hospitalin 2012. Fifty-six respondents were recruited through saturated sampling. Data were analyse during apaired t-test with significance level of α<0.05. Results: Parents’ behavior in performing hygiene at the time of pretest was in majority was less (with a score of≤ 56%) of 51 respondents (91.1%), this score increased with majority was good (with a score of 75-100%) of 50 respondents (89.3%) in post-test. Paired t-test resulted in p-value=0.000 (p <0.05). Conclusion: There was a significant effect of health education about hygiene on parents’ behavior in performing hygiene in child with diarrhea in Pediatric Ward Wonosari General Hospital. Abstract

Background:The coverage of exclusive breast-feeding in Yogyakarta is only 40,57%, which is not in accordance with the target of 80% from the Ministry of Health. This is related to factors associated with formula feeding in infants aged 6-12 month, namely mothers’ education, knowledge, occupation, and income. Objective: This study aimed to determine the most dominant factor in the formula feeding in infants aged 6-12 months in Selo Posyandu. Methods:This study was a quantitative research, with cross-sectional design. The number of samples was 36 respondents from Selo posyandu. Instrument in this study was a questionnaire. Data were analysed using chi-square test and Kendall’s tau test with a significance level of p<0.05. Results: Factors associated with formula feeding was education (p=0.004), knowledge (p=0.001), income (p=0.029), employment status (p=0.003) and the multivariate test showed that the most dominant factor was mothers’ employment status. Conclusion: The most pertinent factor in the formula feeding in infants was mother's employment status. Keywords: baby 6-12 months, factors, formula feeding

Abstract

Background: Patient satisfaction in palliative care is an important dimension that can describe a patient’s experience acceptable of care. Patient satisfaction is used to evaluate performance and improve the quality of palliative care. Objective: This study aimed to know the description of patient satisfaction of palliative cancer against palliative care which has been given in IRNA I RSUP Dr.Sardjito Yogyakarta based on a ranking that includes 5 subscales of satisfaction in palliative care. Method: Type of research was mixed methods with sequential explanatory design, collecting data began from collecting quantitative data and followed by collecting qualitative data. Subject of study involved cancer patient in Central Hospital of Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta during September and October 2016 number of respondent was 48 patients and 8 participants. Sampling technique in quantitative research used purposive sampling, while the qualitative research used the techniques sampling criterion. Instrument used FAMCARE-P to measure satisfaction and the interview based on interview guideline. Quantitative data analysis used descriptive analysis and analysis of qualitative data used the content analysis. Integration of the results of quantitative research and qualitative used the joint displays. Results: Cancer patients have a high satisfaction on the subscale of support in decision-making with a mean (4,60±0,49), followed by a subscale of symptom management (3,96±0,42), communication and information (3,93±0,35), coordination and consistency (3,8±0,38) and accessibility (3,7±0,44). Qualitative research gained eight categories. Conclusion: Cancer patient satisfaction on palliative care was high with score on every subscales above mean score. Abstract

Background: Premenopause is a transitional stage of fertile period leading to the absence of fertilization 4-5 years before menopause. The need for readiness for premenopausal women will affect anxiety in the face of menopause. One of the factors of readiness is knowledge that serves to find out various problems during menopause. Objective: To know the relationship of premenopausal women knowledge with readiness to face menopause at Gamping Kidul, Ambarketawang, Gamping sub district, Sleman Yogyakarta. Methods: Type of quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all premenopausal women aged 45-50 years. The sampling technique used cluster and purposive sampling with research subject of 57 responden. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire, univariate and bivariate analysis used Kendall's Tau. Results: Good knowledge of premenopausal women 29.8%, sufficient knowledge was 56.1% and lack of knowledge was 14.0% while the category ready 86.0% and not ready 14.0%. The results of statistical tests showed a significant relationship between premenopausal women knowledge and readiness to face menopause (r = 0.647 and p = 0,000). Conclusion : There is a relationship between premenopausal women knowledge with readiness to face menopause at Gamping Kidul, Ambarketawang, Gamping sub district, Sleman Yogyakarta. Abstract

Permasalahan tumbuh kembang bayi dan balita terjadi di wilayah Tegalrejo. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memecahkan masalah tumbuh kembang bayi di Kelurahan Bener dan Kelurahan Kricak, Kecamatan Tegalrejo, Kota Yogyakarta. Masalah yang ditemukan banyaknya anak yang mengalami sulit makan yang merupakan awal masalah terjadinya gizi buruk bagi anak. Masalah gizi buruk dapat diantisipasi sejak masih bayi. Salah satunya dengan memberikan stimulasi dengan terapi sentuhan yaitu pijat bayi. Pijat bayi yang dilakukan secara berkala dan berkelanjutan akan merangsang nervus vagus bayi dan menimbulkan nafsu makan. Agar bayi dapat dipijat secara berkala dan bersinambungan, maka tenaga kesehatan membutuhkan perpanjangan tangan yaitu mengoptimalkan peran kader. Kader dibekali dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan pijat bayi selama 3 bulan. Kemampuan kader dalam melakukan pijat bayi dapat meningkat dari sebelum pelatihan dan pendampingan. Pengetahuan kader posyandu balita juga bertambah sehingga persepsi dan perlakukan terhadap bayi menjadi lebih baik. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini kemampuan kader melakukan pijat semakin meningkat, beberapa bayi yang mengalami masalah pertumbuhan dan perkembangan dapat diketahui lebih awal, bayi semakin sehat, tenaga kesehatan dan tokoh masyarakat menyambut baik karena ada salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah gizi pada balita. Growth problems for infants and toddlers occur in the Tegalrejo region. The purpose of community service is to solve the problem of growth and development of infants in the Village of Bener and Village Kricak, District Tegalrejo, Yogyakarta City. The problem found by many children who have difficulty eating is the beginning of the problem of malnutrition for children.Malnutrition problems can be anticipated since I was a baby. One of them by providing stimulation with touch therapy is baby massage. A regular and ongoing baby massage will stimulate the baby's vagus nerve and cause appetite. So that the baby can be massaged regularly and continuously, then health workers need an extension of the hand that is optimizing the role of cadres.Cadres are equipped with training and assistance for infant massage for 3 months. The ability of cadres to do baby massage can improve from before training and mentoring. The knowledge of posyandu toddlers is also increasing so that the perception and treatment of babies is better.The results of community service have increased the ability of cadres to do massage, some babies who experience growth and development problems can be known earlier, babies are healthier, health workers and community leaders are welcomed because there is one step that can be done to overcome nutritional problems in toddler.

Abstract

Government which includes local government (province/city/district) is a state organs thathas an authority in fulfilling its function to achieve its goals. The function of governmentincludes arrangement, development, empowerment and services. Those functions are inter-related, especially to assest the limitation to fulfill the availability of clean water in MerantiDistrict. This issue is already faced before the expansion of the district. The district belongs topeat area with the characteristic of dark red water in colour, thus force the local government toprovide clean water from the dark red water.

Analysis tool used ClusterAnalysis. Its using two assumptions as the benchmark of a good cluster that is to have an internalhomogeneity (within clusters); the similarities between member in one cluster and external heterogeneity(the between clusters), i.e. the difference between a single cluster with the other clusters. Analysislifestyle Blackberry cell phone users conducted on students at Muhammadiyah University ofMalang used questionnaires. The results shows three lifestyle groups, namely fulfilled, believer andmaker groups. Based on those results, it can be used as a guidance for performing the segmentationinto marketers, especially marketers of Blackberry mobile phones.Keywords: lifestyle, cluster analysis, fulfilled, believer, maker
