Abstract

This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of a flipbook-based e-module using the case study method for the Applied Physics course in the Civil Engineering for Urban Infrastructure Study Program at Politeknik Negeri Nunukan. The motivation behind this development stems from the absence of structured and contextual learning materials aligned with the 7th Main Performance Indicator (IKU 7), which emphasizes collaborative and participatory learning through project or case-based approaches. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate although this study was limited to the Develop stage. Validation was carried out by material and media experts, while student feedback was gathered from a limited trial involving 22 first-semester students. The results of expert validation yielded an average score of 3.63 (91%), and student responses showed a mean score of 3.50 (88%), both categorized as "very feasible." Suggestions from experts led to several revisions, such as the addition of construction-related illustrations, real-world physics applications, glossaries, and enhancements in visual presentation. The e-module integrates case studies relevant to civil engineering projects, thereby enabling students to apply physics concepts in practical contexts. Furthermore, the flipbook format was found to increase interactivity and student motivation. The findings indicate that the flipbook-based e-module is a viable instructional medium that supports innovative learning strategies, enhances conceptual understanding, and aligns with institutional goals for quality education in technical fields.

Abstract

Laporan keuangan adalah kunci untuk memantau kinerja bisnis. Pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) masih banyak yang belum menyadari pentingnya membuat laporan keuangan. Salah satu alasan pelaku UMKM tidak membuat laporan keuangan karena dipandang sulit, menyita waktu, merepotkan dan tidak penting. Pencatatan akuntansi berbasis teknologi masih sangat jarang ditemukan terutama pada UMKM. Di era saat ini, teknologi dapat membantu para pelaku UMKM dalam pencatatan akuntansi usahanya. Pelaku usaha UMKM Pondok Petir Sejahtera berasal dari berbagai macam kalangan dari kelompok usaha yang berbeda- beda. Para anggota UMKM masih menggunakan pembukuan manual untuk mencatat keuangan usahanya bahkan ada yang tidak melaksanakan pencatatan transaksi usaha yang dijalankan. Beberapa pelaku UMKM berpendapat bahwa tanpa pembukuan, usaha akan berjalan lancar dan selalu menghasilkan keuntungan. Hal tersebut menyebabkan arus keuangan tidak diketahui dan akan menimbulkan kerugian serta sulit bagi UMKM dalam mendapatkan akses permodalan dari lembaga keuangan formal. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi berbasis Android Buku Warung bagi pelaku usaha di UMKM Pondok Petir Sejahtera. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu agar anggota UMKM Pondok Petir Sejahtera paham pentingnya laporan keuangan serta mudah dalam pencatatan transaksi bisnis menggunakan aplikasi akuntansi berbasis android.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk analisis dalam memperoduksi teks eksplanasi kompleks. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif Sumber pada penelitian ini adalah materi menulisdalam memproduksi teks eksplanasi kompleks. Pada analisis materi terutama materi yang ada pada buku ajar dan ditak terlepas dari ketentuan seperti yang biasa dilakukan pada proses pembelajaran pada umumya yakni mengamati, menanya, mencoba, menalar mengomunikasikan. Berdasarkan analisis menyimpulkan bahwa analisis materi memproduksi teks eksplanasi kompleks pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia tidak bisa jauh media, fenomena/pristiwa terdekat. Dengan demikian analisis materi memproduksi teks eksplanasi kompleks akan baik, karena adanya daya tarik tersendiri dari teks eksplanasi kompleks tersebut. Berdasarkan kesimpulan di atas, bahwa analisis materi teks eksplanasi kompleks merupakan satu kesatuan dalam komponen bahasa Indonesia. Sehungga setiap maeteri harus dianalisis dibutuhkan untuk dianalisis.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran bahasa penguasaan empat keterampilan berbahasa (mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca dan menulis) adalah hal yang urgen dan tidak bisa ditawar lagi karena perwujudan sebuah bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi terlihat pada penguasaan empat keterampilan tersebut. Maka, dalam hal ini dosen menjadi salah komponen penting dalam mewujudkan hal tersebut melalui pembelajaran yang laksanakan. Dalam artikel ini akan diketengahkan bagaimana pembelajaran keempat keterampilan bahasa tersebut di IAI Qamarul Huda Bagu Lombok Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of character education on students' learning motivation at State Elementary School 019 Sungai Beringin, Tembilahan Indragiri Hilir Riau Indonesia. This research used a quantitative approach. A total of 74 students were selected to participate in this study using the proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used was a simple regression test. Based on the results of data analysis on variable X, namely Character Education, it was found that 73.69% was categorized as strong. Then, based on the results of data analysis of variable Y, namely Student Learning Motivation, it was found that 77.39% was also categorized as strong. While the effect of character education on student learning motivation obtained Fcount ≥ Ftable = 20.92 ≥ 3.97, so Ho is rejected, which means that there was a positive and significant influence between character education on student learning motivation

Abstract

Education is a word that is familiar to hear in life. Everyone generally does it. Education does not only take place in school buildings or institutions, but education also exists in the community and family. Previous learning theories have emphasized the role of environmental and cognitive factors in the educational and learning process. The learning process still focuses on the teacher as the main source of knowledge, and schools are the main choice for learning strategies. Humanism theory clearly shows that learning is influenced and guided by the way students think and behave, and by the personal meanings and emotions derived from their learning experiences. This theory seeks to understand learning behavior from the actor's perspective rather than from an observational perspective. This study uses qualitative research with a library research approach. The purpose of this study is to find out how the theory of humanism learning according to the perspective of Islamic education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect on the systematic reasoning capacity of elementary mathematics students of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. The study consisted in a quasi-experimental design with an experimental group applying PjBL and a control group using conventional methods. Purposive sampling enabled participants to be chosen from several elementary schools. The Minimum Competency Assessment guided the method of data collecting by means of a systematic thinking skills test. The test consisted in essay questions covering students's capacity to identify patterns, develop plans, investigate conceptual links, and evaluate approaches of problem-solving. An observation notebook was also used to document student participation and activity all through the learning process. Among other statistical tests, paired and independent t-tests let one compare the pretest and posttest scores. From the data, higher posttest scores and statistically significant deviations exposed that students in the PjBL group showed a rather better improvement in systematic thinking than the control group. Additionally, the observation data demonstrated that PjBL students utilized analytical and reflective thought during the project operations, actively participated in peer-based conversations, and increased their participation. Through their connection between mathematical ideas and practical problems, these learning opportunities helped students to develop their structured thinking and evaluation skills. By providing contextual, meaningful, and cooperative learning, the results imply that PjBL is efficient in the evolution of higher-order thinking. In order to improve students' systematic thinking a ability necessary for both academic success and practical problem-solving teachers are therefore advised to include PjBL into mathematics education. Keywords: project-based learning, systematic thinking, mathematics learning.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan literasi dasar siswa di wilayah 3T (tertinggal, terdepan dan terluar), termasuk di Kabupaten Bima, menjadi tantangan serius dalam dunia pendidikan. Sebagian besar siswa belum mencapai level kecakapan minimum dalam membaca, sementara pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang mempertimbangkan keragaman kemampuan serta latar belakang budaya siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas pemangku kepentingan pendidikan dalam meningkatkan literasi dasar melalui pendekatan berbasis data dan budaya lokal. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan partisipatoris berbasis komunitas, yang mencakup tujuh tahapan: rembuk pendidikan, pemetaan data sekolah dan desa, sosialisasi lintas sektor, pelatihan fasilitator daerah, uji coba modul literasi berbasis kemampuan siswa, refleksi dan revisi modul, serta advokasi kebijakan. Lokasi kegiatan difokuskan di 25 sekolah dasar dan 9 desa di Kabupaten Bima. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan literasi berbasis data mampu menghasilkan profil belajar siswa dan desa secara lebih akurat. Modul literasi yang dikembangkan secara kontekstual terbukti meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, memungkinkan guru mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar siswa, dan menumbuhkan antusiasme siswa dalam proses membaca. Kesimpulannya, pengabdian ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan literasi berbasis data dan budaya lokal merupakan strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi dasar secara inklusif, relevan, dan berkelanjutan di wilayah marginal seperti Kabupaten Bima. Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan biofuel pada mesin kendaraan sudah banyak diapliaksikan sebagai bentuk penanggulangan krisis bahan bakar. Teknologi mesin pun berkembang guna menyesuaikan penggunaan biofuel. SMK berperan dalam mencetak lulusan yang siap kerja dengan menyesuaikan kebutuhan industri. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pelatihan perawatan mesin berbahan bakar biofuel bagi siswa jurusan Teknik Sepeda Motor SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat. Hal ini bertujuan agar siswa memiliki kompetensi perawatan mesin berbahan bakar bifuel sehingga siswa setelah lulus dapat bersaing didunia kerja khususnya dibidang mekanik sepeda motor. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 22 siswa jurusan Teknik dan Bisnis Sepeda Motor. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah dengan materi pengertian biofuel, karakteristik bahan bakar, prinsip kerja biofuel dalam proses pembakaran dan efek penggunaan biofuel pada mesin. Metode lainnya adalah demontrasi tentang cara kerja sistem injeksi berbahan bakar biofuel dan penggunaan scaner EFI untuk diagnosa kerusakan mesin. Diakhir kegiatan dilakukan evaluasi dalam bentuk post-test dan penilaian praktikum. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan bahwa nilai siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah mengikuti pelatihan pada setiap indikator capaiannya. Rata-rata peningkatan nilai indikator capaiannya adalah 54% dan seluruh siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan dinyatakan kompeten. Abstract: The use of biofuel in vehicle engines has been widely applied as a form of overcoming the fuel crisis. Engine technology has also developed to adjust the use of biofuel. Vocational schools play a role in producing graduates who are ready to work by adjusting to industry needs. Therefore, biofuel engine maintenance training needs to be provided for students majoring in motorcycle engineering at Muhammadiyah Kramat Vocational School. This aims to ensure that students have the competence to maintain biofuel engines so that after graduating students can compete in the world of work, especially in motorcycle mechanics. This training was carried out with 22 participants majoring in Motorcycle Engineering and Business. This training uses a lecture method with material on the definition of biofuel, fuel characteristics, the working principles of biofuel in the combustion process, and the effects of using biofuel on engines. Another method is a demonstration of how the biofuel injection system works and the use of an EFI scanner to diagnose engine damage. At the end of the activity, an evaluation was carried out in the form of a post-test and practical assessment. The evaluation results showed that student scores increased after participating in the training on each of their achievement indicators. The average increase in the achievement indicator score was 54% and all students who participated in the training were declared competent.

Abstract

Abstrak: Lulusan vokasi seperti Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) menjadi penyumbang terbesar angka pengangguran. Fenomena ini bertolak belakang dengan orientasi pembelajaran yang diterapkan yang menggunakan metode praktikum berbasis project based learning (PBL). SMK Jurusan Teknik Sepeda Motor adalah jurusan yang memiliki potensi penyerapan tenaga kerja terbesar dengan mempertimbangkan fenomena volume kendaraan bermotor yang terus meningkat. Program Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi sepeda motor bagi siswa Teknik Sepeda Motor SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat Kabupaten Tegal. Metode yang digunakan adalah PBL yang diterapkan melalui Workshop propertis bahan bakar dan Workshop Karakteristik bahan bakar. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 Juni 2024 bertempat di bengkel Teknik Sepeda Motor SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat Kabupaten Tegal yang diikuti 20 siswa kelas XI. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, siswa kelas XI memperoleh peningkatan kompetensi sepeda motor dengan prosentase 20%. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil pengukuran kompetensi awal melaluisi pada PreTest dengan capaian penguasaan sebesar 68% dan meningkat menjadi 88% melalui pengukuran pada evaluasi PostTest. Pemberian materi propertis bahan bakar, performa dan karakteristik bahan bakar yang dilakukan melalui workshop dengan metode PBL terbukti dapat terserap secara maksimal.Abstract: Vocational graduates such as Vocational High Schools (SMK) are the largest contributors to unemployment. This phenomenon is in contrast to the applied learning orientation which uses a practical method based on project based learning (PBL). SMK Motorcycle Engineering Department is a department that has the greatest potential for absorbing labor considering the phenomenon of the increasing volume of motorized vehicles. This Community Service Program aims to improve motorcycle competence for Motorcycle Engineering students at SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat, Tegal Regency. The method used is PBL which is implemented through the Fuel Properties Workshop and Fuel Characteristics Workshop. The activity was carried out on June 21, 2024 at the Motorcycle Engineering workshop of SMK Muhammadiyah Kramat, Tegal Regency which was attended by 20 class XI students. Based on the evaluation results, class XI students obtained an increase in motorcycle competence with a percentage of 20%. This is shown from the results of the initial competency measurement through the PreTest with a mastery achievement of 68% and increasing to 89% through measurements in the PostTest evaluation. The provision of material on fuel properties, performance and fuel characteristics carried out through workshops using the PBL method has proven to be maximally absorbed.
