Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the ability to read simple sentences in grade 1B students of SDN 2 Tatura in learning Indonesian. The research subjects were 28 students, consisting of 16 males and 12 females. The research was conducted in two cycles using the PTK model which includes the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The main problem in this study is the low ability of students to understand and read simple sentences. As a solution, the Early Reading Writing (MMP) method was applied which is contextual and student-centered. Data were collected through observations of teacher and student activities, as well as learning outcome tests using student worksheets (LKPD). The results of the study showed an increase in the percentage of student learning completion from 75% in cycle I to 93% in cycle II. These findings indicate that the MMP method is effective in improving the ability to read simple sentences of grade 1 students in the context of learning Indonesian

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement of anecdotal text writing skills through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by the Canva application among ninth-grade students at SMPN 3 Luwuk Timur. The background of this research is based on the low ability of students to write anecdotal texts, which had not yet reached the minimum mastery standard, as well as the need for innovative learning approaches that can enhance students’ creativity and motivation. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design conducted over two cycles. The subjects of this study were all ninth-grade students at the school, totaling 23 participants. Data collection was carried out through anecdotal writing performance tests administered at the end of each cycle. Quantitative data analysis involved calculating the percentage of completeness, class average scores, and improvement in learning outcomes between cycles. The evaluation results in Cycle I showed an average score of 69.34 with a completeness rate of 52.17%. After improvements in the learning process during Cycle II, there was a significant increase, with the average score reaching 90.91 and the completeness rate rising to 90.91%. The findings indicate that the application of the Discovery Learning model assisted by Canva effectively enhances students’ ability to write anecdotal texts. Observations and questionnaire results also revealed that students responded very positively to the learning process. This instructional model encouraged students to be more active and independent in their learning. The study reinforces the effectiveness of integrating constructivist learning models with digital media to improve students’ writing skills and recommends that teachers adopt the Discovery Learning approach assisted by Canva to foster active, creative, innovative, and independent writing instruction at various educational levels.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low reading comprehension and literacy skills of students as indicated by only 36.36% of students achieving the minimum completion criteria at the pre-action stage. This classroom action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language subjects of grade 2 students of SD Inpres Tulo through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by interactive media. Using classroom action research with data collection techniques using learning outcome tests, teacher and student activity observation sheets, and field notes. Quantitative descriptive analysis is used to calculate individual absorption and classical completion, while qualitative analysis is used to assess activity scores to assess the success of the actions taken. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes, with the average value increasing from 61.81 in the pre-action to 80.90 in cycle II and classical completion reaching 81.81%. Student activity also increased from the sufficient category to good. In conclusion, the use of PBL with relevant media can be an alternative strategy to improve literacy skills and can be adapted to other subjects at the elementary level.

Abstract

While the economic impact of Islamic social finance (ISF) is increasingly acknowledged, its potential contribution to psychological well-being remains underexplored. This study investigates the relationship between ISF practices (Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, Waqf) and psychological well-being. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study undertakes a comprehensive review of existing literature, encompassing books and national and international journal articles. Findings demonstrate a strong correlation between ISF and various dimensions of psychological well-being, including self-acceptance, positive relationships, autonomy, environmental mastery, life goals, and self-development. This positive association is attributed to ISF's central role in achieving Falah (spiritual prosperity) within the maqashid al-sharia (objectives of Islamic law) framework, fostering social justice and shared prosperity conducive to individual well-being. The study recommends that philanthropic institutions prioritize enhancing service quality in collecting and distributing ISF funds to maximize their positive impact on psychological well-being within the community.========================================================================================================ABSTRAK – Bagaimana Keuangan Sosial Syariah Meningkatkan Kesejateraan Psikologis? Meskipun dampak ekonomi keuangan sosial syariah (KSS) semakin diakui, potensinya terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis masih belum banyak dieksplorasi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara praktik KSS (Zakat, Infak, Sedekah, Wakaf) dengan kesejahteraan psikologis. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, studi ini melakukan tinjauan literatur yang komprehensif dengan menganalisis sejumlah buku dan artikel, baik dari jurnal nasional maupun internasional. Temuan menunjukkan hubungan yang erat antara KSS dan berbagai dimensi kesejahteraan psikologis, meliputi penerimaan diri, hubungan positif, otonomi, penguasaan lingkungan, tujuan hidup, dan pengembangan diri. Hubungan positif ini tidak terlepas dari peran sentral KSS dalam mencapai Falah (kesejahteraan spiritual) dalam kerangka maqashid al-syariah (tujuan hukum Islam), mendorong keadilan sosial, dan meningkatkan kemakmuran bersama yang kondusif bagi kesejahteraan individu. Studi ini merekomendasikan agar lembaga filantropi memprioritaskan peningkatan kualitas layanan dalam pengumpulan dan pendistribusian dana KSS untuk memaksimalkan dampak positifnya terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis masyarakat.

Abstract

This study explores how integrating ICT into education can significantly improve students' learning experiences and foster the creation of scientific works. ICT tools, offer students enhanced access to information, promote critical thinking, and support the development of research and scientific writing skills. By incorporating ICT, educators can provide more interactive, personalized, and effective learning environments, ultimately enriching the academic and research capabilities of students. This study aims to explain how students in SMA Negeri 1 Torue learn to design scientific work using information and communication technology. This research is descriptive-qualitative in nature. The researchers used purposive sampling to collect the samples. The research subjects were 36 people, including one language teacher and 35 students. Observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation are data collection methods. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions are the three stages of data analysis. Based on observations, interviews, and documentation of Indonesian language teachers, it is evident that teachers are capable of adapting their approaches, media, and materials. This allows researchers to conclude that the use of information and communication technology in teaching students to design scientific work in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Torue is adequate.

Abstract

Air bersih merupakan kebutuhan dasar yang berperan penting dalam peningkatan derajat kesehatan dan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Program Penyediaan Air Minum dan Sanitasi Berbasis Masyarakat (PAMSIMAS) dirancang sebagai solusi untuk menjawab tantangan keterbatasan akses air bersih di berbagai wilayah pedesaan, termasuk di Desa Marioritengnga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis kinerja pelayanan air bersih program PAMSIMAS ditinjau dari tiga aspek utama: kualitas, kuantitas, dan kontinuitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan mengolah data sekunder dan hasil observasi lapangan di Desa Marioritengnga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas air mencapai skor 67% (kategori baik), kuantitas air 60% (kategori baik), dan kontinuitas air 100% (kategori sangat baik). Secara keseluruhan, rata-rata efektivitas pelayanan air bersih mencapai 75,67%, yang menurut standar Kepmendagri No. 47 Tahun 1999 masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Meskipun demikian, masih ditemukan tantangan signifikan, khususnya dalam aspek ketercapaian sambungan rumah dan kualitas mikrobiologis air yang belum sepenuhnya memenuhi standar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan sistem distribusi air dan pengelolaan sumber air untuk menjamin keberlanjutan layanan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi pemerintah daerah dan pemangku kepentingan dalam menyusun kebijakan pengembangan layanan air bersih berbasis masyarakat yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The parenting activity with the theme "Educating Children with Love and Wisdom" aims to provide parents with an understanding of the importance of balancing positive discipline and affection in early childhood parenting. This activity was held at PAUD Raudotul Islamiah, with Siti Kholifah, M.Pd, a lecturer and early childhood education practitioner, as the resource person. The event included a presentation on the concept of positive discipline based on love, followed by an interactive discussion and a question-and-answer session addressing parenting challenges. The results of this activity show that parents feel more confident in facing parenting challenges and understand the importance of good communication, setting clear boundaries, and applying wise discipline. Furthermore, parents gain practical skills that can be directly applied at home to create a harmonious family environment that supports the optimal growth and development of children. This activity is also expected to serve as an initial step in strengthening the emotional bond between parents and children and in positively shaping children's character.

Abstract

Kecemasan kehamilan trimester III sebelum persalinan memiliki dampak negatif baik pada ibu maupun janin. Pentingnya penatalaksanaan kecemasan tersebut oleh tenaga kesehatan, salah satunya dengan nonfarmakologi yakni mendengarkan murottal Al-Qur’an surah Maryam yang berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebelumnya mmpu menurunkan depresi, kesedihan dan ketenangan jiwa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas terapi murottal surah Maryam terhadap penurunan kecemasan pada ibu hamil trimester III. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Pre experimental dengan One Group Pre Post Test Design. Sampel adalah ibu hamil primigravida trimester III pada bulan September 2024 berjumlah sebanyak 35 orang menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan lembar kuesioner dan terapi murottal Al-Qur’an surah Maryam. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank test. Tingkat kecemasan responden sebelum diberikan terapi murottal Surah Maryam nilai rata- rata 39,00, sebagian besar mengalami kecemasan berat sebanyak 21 orang (60%) dan sesudah diberikan terapi murottal Surah Maryam nilai rata-rata 30,54, sebagian besar responden kecemasan sedang sebanyak 25 orang (71,4%). Terapi murottal surah Maryam efektif terhadap penurunan kecemasan pada ibu hamil trimester III dengan nilai p-value (0,000<0,05), dengan selisih mean pretest dan posttest sebesar 8,46. Terapi murottal surah Maryam terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan kecemasan pada ibu hamil trimester III. Pentingnya peran tenaga kesehatan agar mengarahkan maupun membimbing untuk penatalaksanaan kecemasan melibatkan keluarga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa anak usia dini di era digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterlibatan aktif orang tua dalam aktivitas literasi digital di rumah berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berbahasa anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, menggunakan instrumen berupa pedoman wawancara dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua, seperti mendampingi anak saat menggunakan media digital yang edukatif serta membacakan cerita digital, berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa anak, baik dari segi kosakata, struktur kalimat, maupun kelancaran berbicara. Selain itu, penggunaan teknologi yang bijak oleh orang tua, termasuk pemilihan konten digital yang sesuai usia dan interaksi verbal selama aktivitas digital, terbukti turut mendorong perkembangan kemampuan komunikasi anak secara signifikan.
