Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas multimedia interaktif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan menganalisis 15 artikel yang dapat diakses dari Google Scholar, Garuda, dan Mendeley. Artikel tersebut ada yang terpublikasi di jurnal tidak terakreditasi, terakreditasi Sinta, dan terindeks Copernicus ataupun Scopus dengan 5 jenjang sampel yang berbeda, yaitu: Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, Sekolah Menengah Atas, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, dan Perguruan Tinggi. Penggunaan multimedia interaktif di dalamnya memuat sebuah teks, grafik, audio, dan gambar bergerak (video) yang dapat ditampilkan melalui layar proyektor dan laptop. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta-analisis yaitu dengan membandingkan data-data hasil penelitian kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen berupa jumlah sampel (N), Standar Deviasi (SD), dan hasil belajar (X). Data tersebut dianalisis secara statistik utuk melihat nilai effect size. Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis ditemukan bahwa dari 15 artikel yang dianalisis didapatkan rata-rata effect size 1,146 dengan nilai P-Value < 0,001 (P-Value < 0,05), yang artinya bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia sangat efektif atau berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Selanjutnya, untuk melihat pada jenjang/tingkatan mana nilai efektivitas lebih tinggi dari hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa nilai estimate pada jenjang SD 1,719 (lebih efektif), kemudian disusul jenjang perguruan tinggi dengan estimate 1,707.

Abstract

This study reviews the literature in an effort to determine how well students' science literacy can be raised by utilizing interactive learning resources for physics. Understanding scientific ideas, using science knowledge in daily situations, and analyzing and resolving science-related issues are all components of science literacy. This study has identified and analyzed a variety of interactive learning media, including interactive magazines, interactive kinematics learning applications, interactive electronic learner worksheet based on LiveWorksheets, Higher Order Thingking Skill-based interactive modules, and learning videos based on the 5E learning cycle model. The study's findings show that interactive learning media can be a very useful tool for teaching physics, but its effectiveness depends largely on how well it is implemented, how well the design of the instruction is done, and how well the learning environment supports the student.

Abstract

Integrasi etnosains dalam pembelajaran IPA merupakan pendekatan yang berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sains di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi dan tantangan integrasi etnosains, dampaknya terhadap kompetensi era modern, serta kesesuaiannya dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Metode tinjauan sistematis digunakan untuk menganalisis 24 artikel penelitian terkait. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa integrasi etnosains berpotensi menciptakan pembelajaran kontekstual, namun menghadapi tantangan dalam pengembangan profesional guru dan penyesuaian kurikulum. Dampak positif terlihat pada peningkatan hasil belajar (effect size 0.65-0.82), pemahaman konsep (0.58-0.75), kemampuan berpikir kritis (0.55-0.70), dan apresiasi budaya (0.60-0.72). Pendekatan ini juga selaras dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila, tercermin dalam pengembangan aspek spiritual (0.58-0.72), kemanusiaan (0.55-0.68), persatuan (0.62-0.75), kerakyatan (0.54-0.70), dan keadilan sosial (0.52-0.65). Model pembelajaran STEAM, inkuiri, discovery, dan berbasis masalah/proyek terbukti efektif dalam implementasi. Disimpulkan bahwa integrasi etnosains merupakan strategi menjanjikan untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda Indonesia menghadapi tantangan era modern dengan tetap memperkuat identitas dan karakter bangsa.

Abstract

Berdasarkan wawancara dan penyebaran angket kepada guru-guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) Gugus 1 Kecamatan Pariaman timur ditemukan permasalahan bahwa kurangnya pengetahuan guru SD Gugus 1 Kecamatan Pariaman timur Kabupaten Pariaman mengenai alat peraga berbasis integrated learning untuk siswa SD, kurangnya keterampilan guru SD Gugus 1 Kecamatan Pariaman timur Kabupaten Pariaman mengenai pembuatan alat peraga berbasis integrated learning untuk siswa SD, dan kurangnya informasi serta referensi mengenai alat peraga berbasis integrated learning. Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah: (1) Seminar mengenai alat peraga berbasis integrated learning. (2) Pelatihan pembuatan alat peraga berbasis integrated learning. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru SD mengenai alat peraga berbasis integrated learning. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan guru tentang alat peraga pembelajaran berbasis integrated learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how the STEM integrated learning model influences the cognitive abilities and critical thinking skills of students in physics subjects. This type of research is meta-analysis research. The sample used was 18 articles that met the criteria. There are two dependent variables used in this study, namely cognitive abilities and critical thinking skills. While the moderator variable is based on classes, lessons and learning models. The data collection technique used is through coding, with data analysis techniques using effect size techniques. Based on the data that has been analyzed in this study, it can be concluded that: 1) The STEM integrated learning model is proven to have an impact on student's cognitive abilities, especially if the learning model is integrated with the PBL learning model, and can have an influence on students' critical thinking skills, especially if integrated with the PJBL learning model, 2) The STEM integrated learning model is proven to have an impact on students' cognitive abilities, especially in class XII, and can have an influence on students' critical thinking skills, especially in class IX, 3) The STEM integrated learning model is proven to have an impact on students' cognitive abilities, especially on thermodynamic material, and can have an influence on students' critical thinking skills, especially on dynamic electricity material.

Abstract

The development of science and technology can make students interested in participating in the learning process it can increase student competence. This research began when researchers discovered gaps in conditions in the field that teachers were still not using technology enough so that learning was less varied. The aim of the research is to produce online learning content using Schoology in elementary school science learning that is practical, valid and effective to increase student competence. The research uses the ADDIE model which consists of analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research produces online elementary science learning content using schoology. The results of the research show that based on the expert assessment of the material, language and media the learning content developed was declared highly valid, very practical based on the responses of students and teachers, and effective in increasing students' competence.

Abstract

The popularity of Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) has continued to increase in the last decade, as reflected in the growing number of academic publications examining its implementation and impact across various disciplines. This study aims to analyze publication trends and hot topics related to IBL over the past decade using a bibliometric approach. A total of 236 Scopus-indexed documents were analyzed. The analysis showed a significant increase in the number of IBL publications and citations. Indonesia dominates the research contributions, indicating successful educational reforms that support the adoption of IBL. Physics and Astronomy were the disciplines that adopted this approach the most, followed by Social Sciences. Keyword analysis identified four main themes that were being discussed: attitude, character, cognitive style, and metacognition. The findings show the importance of a holistic approach to IBL learning, which includes both cognitive and non-cognitive dimensions. This study concludes that IBL is an effective pedagogical approach that continues to evolve. Further research is recommended to explore the integration of these key themes within a more inclusive IBL framework, as well as cross-cultural applications, to support more relevant and meaningful learning.

Abstract

While numerous studies have investigated the effectiveness of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, findings remain fragmented, and variations in research designs, sample characteristics, and contexts of implementation pose challenges in drawing generalized conclusions. This study aimed to assess the efficacy of the STEM approach on student learning outcomes at the high school level through a meta-analysis. A total of 24 studies that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed from 14 papers that met the criteria. The meta-analysis results demonstrated that the STEM approach was significantly more effective than traditional learning methods, with an overall effect size value of d = 1.71, Z = 7.45, and a significance level of P < 0.00001. Although there was considerable heterogeneity among the effect sizes (Q = 589.66, I² = 96%), the funnel plot demonstrated a symmetrical distribution of effect sizes, indicating minimal publication bias. The findings substantiate that STEM-based education can enhance student engagement, facilitate concept comprehension, and cultivate critical thinking abilities. The practical implications of this study include recommendations for education policymakers to design more effective STEM programs and for educators to adopt STEM-based teaching strategies. Various stakeholders must collaborate to guarantee this initiative's successful implementation and adequately prepare students for the global challenges they will encounter in the 21st century.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the academic achievement of students at the UNP Electrical Engineering Department in terms of educational background and entry routes, which have a significant influence. This research aims to analyze students' academic achievement at the UNP Electrical Engineering Department in terms of educational background and entry routes. This research uses a quantitative approach with a comparative research type. The subjects of this research were students of the Electrical Engineering Education study program entering 2020, totaling 80 people. The type of data and data collection is in the form of documentation of the IP scores of students in the Electrical Engineering Education study program and inferential data analysis. The research results show that the IP scores of students from the Electrical Engineering Education study program have a significant influence on academic achievement. The researchers' suggestions are: 1) lecturers, should provide more influence and motivation and arouse students' interest in learning to continue to get a better GPA. 2) For students, it is hoped that they will increase their interest, and motivation and choose a friendship environment that can make them more positive and productive so they can have good achievements. 3) For students, it is hoped that they will increase their interest, and motivation and choose a friendship environment that can make them more positive and productive so that they can have good achievements.
