Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the direct and indirect influence of visual merchanding, sales promotion and shopping lifestyle toward impulse buying through positive emotion as an intervening variable. Positive emotion influence customers to make an impulse buying. The population in this research is customers of Duta Mode Purwokerto. The total sample in this research is 115 respondents with incidental sampling technique through a likert scale. Methods of collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis using classic assumption test and hypothesis test (t test and path analysis) with SPSS Statistics version 21 programs. Based on the hypothesis test, the results show that visual merchandising has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, sales promotion has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, shopping lifestyle does not has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, and positive emotion has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying. Mediation test shows that positive emotion mediates the effect of visual merchandising, sales promotion, and shopping lifestyle on impulse buying.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the direct and indirect influence of city branding, word of mouth, and perceived value and visiting decisions through visiting interests. The population in this study is visitors of Kampoeng Wisata Batik Kauman Pekalongan. This research used incidental sampling and purposive sampling technique with 115 respondents. Data collection method is used questionnaire method and documentation method. Data analysis of this research is used path analysis, variables is used include city branding, word of mouth, perceived value, visiting interests, and visiting decisions. The results of this research showed that city branding and word of mouth directly did not have a significant influence on visiting decisions. Perceived value and visiting interests have positive and significant influence on visiting decisions. In addition, visiting interests variable able to mediate the effect of city branding, word of mouth, perceived value on visiting decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the direct and indirect influence of brand personality, brand reputation and price fairness toward customer loyalty through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. Customer satisfaction influence customers to make an loyal. The population in this research is customers Kukubima Energi. The total sample in this research is 115 respondents with purposive sampling technique through a likert scale. Methods of collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis using classic assumption test and hypothesis test (t test and path analysis) with SPSS Statistics version 21 programs. Based on the hypothesis test, the results show that brand personality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, price fairness has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, brand reputation does not has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, and customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect customer satisfaction. Mediation test shows that positive emotion mediates the effect of brand personality, and price fairness on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the influence of Experiential Marketing, quality of service, and customer satisfaction towards customer loyalty by developing a research model and 6 hypotheses filed in this study. The number of samples was 160 respondents, namely the customer of PT POS Indonesia (Persero) Semarang with incidental sampling through questionnaires. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) of Software AMOS 21.0 based on data analysis results, it can be concluded that the model received good/fit and subsequent research results showed there were 3 hypotheses received and 3 hypotheses were rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether celebrity endorsers, brand image and online promotion had an effect on purchasing decisions, and to determine whether brand image is able to mediate celebrity endorsers and online promotion on purchasing decisions. The population data in this research is consumers of Mustika Ratu cosmetic products in Semarang City. The total sample is 115 respondents. This research using the incidental sampling technique. The data analysis method in this research using descriptive analysis, regression analysis, and path analysis with IBM SPSS version 20. The research result shows that celebrity endorser, online promotion and brand image had positive and significant influence on purchasing desicion. Brand image are also able to mediate the effect of celebrity endorser and online promotion toward purchasing desicion. The suggestion givento pay more attention to the selection of celebrity endorsers an effort to increase purchasing decisions. For further researchers, it is expected to conduct research with the same aspects in different areas the consistency of this research can be tested.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan merupakan faktor penentu keberhasilan perusahaan. Permasalahan yang terjadi dalam penelitian ini adanya penurunan kinerja oleh karyawan PDAM Tirta Dharma Brebes pada tahun 2015. Penurunan kinerja tersebut dilihat dari banyaknya pengaduan dari pelanggan, tingkat kehilangan air serta kehadiran dan keterlambatan karyawan. Selain itu masih ditemukan adanya perbedaan hasil penelitian mengenai variabel kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja juga menjadi alasan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui OCB. Populasi dalam penelitian ini 92 karyawan sekaligus dijadikan sampel . Metode pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara dan angket. Metode analisis data menggunakan regresi dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh baik secara langsung maupun secara tidak langsung terhadap kinerja melalui OCB dengan arah positif. OCB juga terbukti mampu memediasi pengaruh kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja. Employee performance is a critical success factor of a company.The probleim in this research is the employee performance found to be low in PDAM Tirta Dharma Brebes on 2015. In addition, there is the differences that found in many research about the effect of job satisfaction, work motivation, organizational commitment on performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the effect of job satisfaction, work motivation, organizational commitment on employee performance through OCB as an intervening. The population in this study as all employees of PDAM, with Total 92 people were used as sample. The methods of data collection using questionare and interview. Methode of data analysis were multiple regression, and path analysis. The result showed that there job satisfaction, work motivation, and organizational commitment influence directly as well as inderectly with the positive direction on performance through OCB. OCB also proved able to mediate effect job satisfaction, work motivation, and organizational commitment on performance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh keandalan, daya tanggap, bukti fisik, empati, dan jaminan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa UNNES melalui TQE sebagai variabel mediator. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa UNNES angkatan 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 395 mahasiswa dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dan metode analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, uji parsial dan path analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keandalan, daya tanggap, empati, dan jaminan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Namun bukti fisik berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan dengan nilai signifikansi > 0,05. Keandalan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan melalui TQE dengan total pengaruh 0,121. Daya tanggap berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan melalui TQE dengan total pengaruh 0,126. Bukti fisik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan melalui TQE dengan total pengaruh 0,130. Empati berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan melalui TQE dengan total pengaruh 0,272. Jaminan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan melalui TQE dengan total pengaruh 0,250. Simpulan dari penelitian ini terbukti bahwa TQE memiliki peran sebagai variabel intervening antara keandalan, daya tanggap, bukti fisik, empati, dan jaminan terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of reliability, responsiveness, tangible, empathy, and assurance to student satisfaction through Total Quality Education as mediator variable. Population in this research is students of Universitas Negeri Semarang academic year 2015. Sampling used proportional random sampling with numbers of respondents more 395. Methods of data collection used questionnaires. Analysis methods were partial test and path analysis. The results showed that reliability, responsiveness, empathy, and assurance have positive and significant effect on student satisfaction with significance value < 0,05. Homewer, tangible has positive but it is not significance effect on satisfaction with significance value > 0,05. Reliability has a positive and significant impact on satisfaction through Total Quality Education with total influence of 0,121. Responsiveness has a positive and significant impact on satisfaction through Total Quality Education with total influence of 0,126. Tangible has a positive and significant impact on satisfaction through Total Quality Education with total influence of 0,130. Empathy has a positive and significant impact on satisfaction through Total Quality Education with total influence of 0,272. Assurance has a positive and significant impact on satisfaction through Total Quality Education with total influence of 0,250. It is can be concluced that Total Quality Education is a role as an intervening variable between reliability, responsivenesss, tangible, empathy, and assurance of student satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh kompetensi pegawai, koleksi, dan tata ruang perpustakaan terhadap kepuasan pemustaka secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kualitas pelayanan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengunjung UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Semarang. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik insidental sampling, jumlah responden sebanyak 116 responden. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner, sedangkan metode analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis dan path analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh antara kompetensi pegawai, koleksi, dan tata ruang perpustakaan terhadap kualitas pelayanan dengan masing thitung 5,790; 3,580; dan 3,441. Serta terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi pegawai, koleksi, tata ruang perpustakaan, dan kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pemustaka dengan thitung masing-masing 0,293; 1,042; 4,347; dan 3,357. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi pegawai, koleksi, dan tata ruang perpustakaan merupakan variabel yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan berdampak pada peningkatan kepuasan pemustaka. Meskipun kompetensi pegawai dan koleksi perpustakaan berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan pemustaka. Saran yang diberikan dalam penelitian ini adalah UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Semarang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan terutama dalam kompetensi pegawai, koleksi, dan tata ruang perpustakaan guna meningkatkan kepuasan pemustaka. This research is aimed to describe influence of staff competence, collection, and library layout design on patron’s satisfaction directly or indirectly through service quality. Based on the result of observation conducted at Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) Library of State University of Semarang, there were decrease of patrons’ visit on 2016 significantly. Thus, it is important to examine patrons’ satisfaction, because it will influence visit intensity to library. Population in this research is all of visitors at UPT Library of State University of Semarang. The sampling technique used incidental sampling technique with number of respondents of 116 people. Methods of data collection used observation, interview, and questionnaires, and then analysis methods were classic assumption test, hypotheses test and path analysis. The findings show that there is influence between staff competence, collection, and library layout design on service quality with tcount 5,790; 3,580; and 3,441. There is also influence between between staff competence, collection, and library layout design and service quality on patrons’ satisfaction with tcount each of 0,293; 1,042; 4,347; and 3,357. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that staff competence, collection, and library layout design are the variables which can increase service quality and affect on increase of patrons’ satisfaction. Althouth staff competence and library collection affect on positive influence, but it both do not significantly affect on patrons’ satisfaction. As the suggestion to give in this research is that UPT Library of State University of Semarang is expected to increase service quality especially on staff competence, collection, and library layout design to increase patrons’ satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kerja. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan peneliti, diketahui bahwa hasil penilaian kinerja menunjukkan penurunan nilai yang cukup signifikan pada tahun 2013 yang disebabkan aspek kualitas kerja dan tingkat kehadiran pegawai yang kurang optimal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 91 orang yang sekaligus digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket. Metode analisis data adalah analisis deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, lingkungan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 4,5%, 13,2%, 0,07 %, dan 7,3%. Gaya kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, dan lingkungan kerja juga secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 8,5%, 14,8%, dan 15,4%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi serta kepuasan kerja secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Gaya kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi serta lingkungan kerja juga secara tidak langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. This study had aims to describe the influence of leadership styles, organizational culture, and work environment through employee performance directly or indirectly by job satisfaction. Based on the observations which is conducted, it identified that performance evaluation results showed a significant impairment in 2013 were due to the quality of work and level of employee attendance is less than optimal. The population in this study total 91 people were used as samples. Method of collecting data was using a questionnaire. Method of data analysis was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis.The results showed that the partial effect of leadership style, organizational culture, work environment, and job satisfaction influence on employee performance respectively 4,5%, 13,2%, 0,07%, and 7,3%. Leadership styles, organizational culture and work environment partially influence on job satisfaction respectively 8.5%, 14.8% and 15.4%. Based on the results, it can be concluded that leadership style, organizational culture, and job satisfaction directly give positive and significant influence on employee performance. The work of environment is not significant influence on employee performance. Leadership styles, organizational culture, and work environment indirectly give positive and significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji pengaruh disiplin kerja, motivasi kerja, dan self efficacy terhadap kinerja pegawai baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel mediasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang yang berjumlah 114 pegawai. Pengambilan sampel dengan Simple Random Sampling dengan cara undian, perhitungannya menggunakan rumus Slovin diketahui jumlah sampel adalah 89 pegawai. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan uji koefisien determinasi parsial (r2), uji parsial (uji t), dan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara disiplin kerja, motivasi kerja, dan self efficacy terhadap komitmen organisasi dengan thitung masing-masing sebesar 2,655, 2,705, dan 2,775. Serta terdapat pengaruh antara disiplin kerja, motivasi kerja, dan self efficacy terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan thitung masing-masing sebesar 3,252, 3,599, 2,512, dan 3,255. Komitmen organisasi terbukti mampu memediasi pengaruh disiplin kerja, motivasi kerja, dan self efficacy terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan total pengaruh tidak langsung masing-masing sebesar 0,735, 0,541, dan 0,428.
