Abstract

This study investigates the impact of introducing the basics of English morphology to English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students. Morphology, the study of word formation and structure, is fundamental to understanding and mastering any language. The research focuses on how foundational knowledge of English morphology influences EFL students' language acquisition and proficiency. By incorporating morphological instruction into the curriculum, students can enhance their vocabulary, improve their reading comprehension, and develop a deeper understanding of grammatical structures. The study involved a group of EFL students who received systematic instruction in morphology, including the identification and usage of roots, prefixes, and suffixes. Pre- and post-tests were administered to measure the student's progress. The results indicated a significant improvement in the student's linguistic skills, particularly their ability to decode and construct words and overall language comprehension. The findings suggest that integrating morphology into EFL teaching strategies can provide substantial benefits, facilitating more effective language learning and boosting students' confidence in English. This research underscores the importance of morphological awareness in EFL education and offers practical implications for educators aiming to enhance their teaching methods to support student success in acquiring English.

Abstract

English language learning is fundamental in students' physics education since it provides access to worldwide scientific literature, facilitates international collaboration, and allows for effective communication among scientists. This literature study emphasizes integrating English learning within the physics curriculum. By building bridges between language and science, students of physics education study programs can improve communication skills and share knowledge effectively at the international level. Through innovative approaches to learning, students can enhance their language skills and develop an in-depth understanding of physics concepts, preparing them for success in the academic and professional world.

Abstract

This literature review article presents an analysis of the concepts of Ariyah, Grants, Gifts, and Samsarah from a theoretical and practical perspective to understand the complexity and legal framework governing these transactions in an Islamic context. The data is analyzed in depth to identify key elements and relationships between concepts. Ariyah (borrowing) is the loan of goods without remuneration, Hibah (grant) is the voluntary gift of a living person to another, Hadiah (gift) without expectation of reward, and Samsarah (brokerage) is connecting between parties involved in a transaction (such as buyers and sellers) in which the intermediary is given a certain commission. Despite having fundamental differences in definition and application, these four concepts play an important role in society. From a theoretical perspective, each concept has a legal basis and principles governing it. In practical terms, the application of Ariyah, Grants, Gifts, and Samsarah is seen in various aspects of daily life, from trade transactions to social relations. Understanding these concepts helps individuals and organizations manage relationships and transactions more effectively according to the principles of sharia law.

Abstract

This article investigates the principles and practices of Akad Ijarah and its application in Islamic banking. Using a literature review method, this article explores the fundamental concept of Akad Ijarah and analyzes its implementation in the context of Islamic banking. The research aims to provide a deep understanding of the structure, mechanisms, and benefits of Akad Ijarah for Islamic financial institutions. The analysis results present a comprehensive overview of how Akad Ijarah is implemented in the practices of Islamic banking, as well as the challenges and opportunities it faces. These findings have significant implications for the development of Islamic banking products and services that adhere to Shariah principles. In conclusion, this research highlights the importance of a solid understanding of Akad Ijarah in ensuring the compliance of Islamic banking with Shariah principles.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze wadiah contracts in sharia savings products based on the perspective of Islamic economic law. The method used in this research is a literature review, where data is collected from various relevant literature, including scientific journals, textbooks and official documents. This research examines the basic concepts and principles of wadiah contracts, as well as their application in sharia savings products in various financial institutions. In addition, this research also evaluates the suitability of wadiah contracts with the principles of Islamic economic law regulated by the National Sharia Council-Indonesian Scholars Council (DSN-MUI). The analysis results show that wadiah contracts, when implemented correctly, are in line with sharia principles, provide benefits to customers and financial institutions, and increase trust and participation in the sharia banking system. However, there are several implementation challenges that need to be overcome to ensure full compliance with sharia. This research is expected to provide insight for practitioners and academics in understanding and implementing wadiah contracts in sharia savings products.

The collaborative community service activity between the lecturers and students at MTs Hidayatul Insan aims to enhance the learning experience and academic support for students under the title "Optimizing Student Role in Strengthening 4 Language Skills Through Adverb of Frequency Material for Students of Mts Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya." This initiative focuses on improving language skills, particularly in the use of adverbs of frequency for the students. Abstract

The Indonesian education system has been changed over past few decades. There are several reason of these changes but the one most crucial aspect of these changes is the student and technology. Merdeka curriculum or also known as independent study is this modern era’s newest curriculum, as we know in this current world technology has been developed in the speed of light and it also affects students’ character toward studying and that’s why the Merdeka curriculum being made. The main purpose of this curriculum is to use tech as useful as possible and also to develop each unique ability that students. This article’s main purpose is to explain about format and implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in this modern era.

Abstract

This research explores the synergy between lecturers, students and alumni of the Arabic and English Education Technology Study Program (TBI) at IAIN Palangka Raya in carrying out collaborative community service activities. The main focus of this research is the application of Islamic animation media as a means of strengthening verb language skills in students at the Berkah Palangka Raya Integrated Tsanawiyah Madrasah. The research method used is qualitative. The aim of this research is to improve the understanding and use of verbs in Arabic among MTs Terpadu Berkah Palangka Raya students. The research results show that through this collaborative approach, lecturers, students and alumni can create Islamic animated media that is interesting and relevant to the students' context. The use of Islamic animation media is effective in strengthening students' understanding of verb skills, as well as increasing their learning motivation. This research contributes to a practical understanding of how synergy between lecturers, students and alumni can improve collaborative community service in the field of education.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the English alphabet pronunciation skills among students at MIS Miftahul Huda II in Palangka Raya City through the use of flashcard media. Students from the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGMI) program are actively involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of this program. The method used is a participatory approach, where PGMI students provide interactive learning using specially designed flashcards to help students recognize and correctly pronounce the alphabet. The results of this activity show a significant improvement in students' pronunciation skills and their enthusiasm for participating in the learning process. Additionally, the involvement of PGMI students in this program provides valuable practical experience in teaching and classroom management. Therefore, this activity is beneficial not only for the students but also for the professional competence development of PGMI students.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the understanding of class VIII students at MTs Hidayatul Insan, Palangka Raya, regarding the basic material of Morphology in teaching English as a Foreign Language (ELT) through song media. The mentoring method involves presenting basic Morphology material through song lyrics that are relevant to the concept being taught. The results of the service showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the material, as well as a positive response to the use of songs as a learning medium.
