Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the application of guided discovery learning models based on lesson study for community learning on student learning outcomes. The type of research that pseudo-experiments use with research design is pretest-postest control group design. The population consists of students of class X MIPA at public high school 1 Padang. Sample selection is carried out by random sampling techniques, and selected sample classes, namely X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 4. The instrument used in this study is a test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions consisting of 20 questions with 5 answer options. Data analysis techniques use n-gain tests, normality tests, F tests and hypothesis tests (t tests). The average learning outcomes of students of the experiment and control classes were 81, and 72, respectively,.The level of influence of LSLC-based guided discovery learning models is analyzed through n-gain test scores. From the results of the study obtained an n-gain score in the experimental class of 0.74 with a high category while the control class was 0.61 with a medium category. At the significance level of 0.05 indicates the value of tcount (2.746) > ttable (1.995). So that the implementation of a guided discovery learning model based on lesson study for community learning has a problem with improving student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of e-module colligative properties of solutions based on guided discovery learning in improving high school student learning outcomes. The research was conducted on class XII students in a public high school space (MAN 1 Padang) with 36 students. The type of research used is quasi-experimental. The research design was a randomized control-group pretest-posttest design, and data analysis used a t-test. The sample was taken by a simple random sampling technique. The level of effectiveness of the e-module is analyzed from the results of the n-gain value. It obtained an n-gain value of 0.71 in the high category. In conclusion, guided discovery learning based on the chemistry e-module effectively improves student learning outcomes with high criteria. Abstract

This study aims to determine the trend of ethnoscience development research in science learning in Indonesia. As classified as the qualitative research, this study used a content analysis approach. A systematic literature review technique was done to analyze the ethnoscience approach in science learning, used 73 reviewed articles, from 2017 to March 2022. The results shows: (a) Integrated research topics is the most dominant ethnoscience approach used to develop learning Modules with 4D research designs,(b) Learning outcomes are integrated with ethnoscience, especially for scientific literacy, critical thinking skill, creative thinking skill and problem-solving. (c). The ethnoscience-integrated learning model is dominated by project-based learning and discovery learning models at the high school level with biology subjects. The ethnoscience approach in science learning  preservice the local culture as the attempt to develope the students’ scientific literacy  beside reintroducing the culture.

Abstract

E-modul kimia unsur berbasis guided discovery learning telah dikembangkan dan dianalisis tingkat validitasnya untuk membantu proses pembelajaran peserta didik. Penelitian ini tergolong kepada Research and Development dengan model Plomp. The e-module divalidasi oleh tujuh orang validator ahli materi dan tiga orang ahli media. Instumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket validitas. Data dianalisa dengan menggunakan Content Validity Ratio (CVR) dan formula kappa Cohen’s. Hasil uji validitas konten diperoleh nilai rata-rata CVR sebesar 0,986. Hasil uji validitas konstruk dan validitas ahli media diperoleh nilai rata-rata momen kappa sebesar 0,90 dan 0,89. Data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa e-modul memiliki tingkat kevalidan yang sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan valid serta dapat dilakukan uji praktikalitas dan efektifitasnya.Kata Kunci: e-modul, guided discovery learning, kimia unsur

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the validity and practicality of the e-module being developed. This type of research is research and development (R&D) with the Plomp development model. The e-module validity test was conducted by four lecturers from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNP and three chemistry teachers. The practicality test was carried out by three chemistry teachers and 32 grade XI students of SMAN 7 Padang for the 2020/2021 school year. The research instrument used was a validity questionnaire and practicality. The validity results were analyzed using the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and the practical results used the Aikens'V formula. From the research, it was found that the CVR average value of the e-module content validity was 0,95 (valid), the construct validity was 0,82 (valid), the practicality of the e-module for the teacher was 0,89 (practical) and for the students was 0,82 ( practical). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the e-module of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions based on guided disscovery learning for class X SMA / MA developed was valid and practical. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas dan praktikalitas dari e-modul yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Plomp. Uji validitas e-modul dilakukan oleh empat dosen jurusan kimia FMIPA UNP  serta tiga guru kimia. Uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh tiga guru kimia dan 32 siswa kelas XI SMAN 7 Padang tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan angket validitas dan  praktikalitas. Hasil validitas dianalisis menggunakan Content Validity Ratio (CVR) dan hasil praktikalitas menggunakan formula Aikens’V. Dari penelitian didapatkan hasil nilai rata-rata CVR validitas konten e-modul sebesar 0,95 (valid), validitas konstruk 0,82 (valid), praktikalitas e-modul pada guru 0,89 (praktis) dan pada siswa 0,82 (praktis). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa e-modul larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit berbasis guided disscovery learning untuk kelas X SMA/ MA yang dikembangkan telah valid dan praktis.

Abstract

In the hydrocarbon material, there is a lot of conceptual, factual, and procedural knowledge that must be managed by students. One component of learning success is determined by the quality of teaching materials provided to students. Therefore, teaching materials are used to comply with the requirement of students in understanding hydrocarbon materials in the form of a hydrocarbon e-module based on guided discovery learning that has been valid and practical so that it can improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectivity of the e-module used on student learning outcomes at SMAN 13 Padang. This research is quasi-experimental research (Quast Experiment Research) using a nonequivalent control group design. The population is class XI MIPA SMAN 13 Padang in the academic year 2022/2023. The sample selection was done by random sampling technique, by choosing class XI MIPA 2 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 4 as the control class. The instrument used in this study was a multiple-choice test consisting of 25 questions and 5 valid, reliable, and discriminatory answer choices, and a difficulty index with good criteria. The effectivity level of the e-module was analyzed from the n-gain test value. The results obtained n-gain in the experimental class 0.6 while in the control class 0.55 with a medium category. So that the hydrocarbon e-module based on guided discovery learning is effectively used to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Computer-based learning media can be one alternative in the learning of chemistry, especially hybridization concepts. This media will visualize abstract concepts into animations, drawings and help students understand concepts with interactive questions. The purpose of this research is to produce learning media on hybridization materials using macromedia flash program that can help the process of chemical learning. The type of research conducted is Research and Develompment (R & D). The instrument used is a questionnaire with Likert scale. The result of this research is hybridization learning media with macromedia flash program suitable to be used for science students at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan e-modul asam basa berbasis guided discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik SMA fase F. Penelitian quasi experimental ini menggunakan desain randomize control-group posttest only design. Populasi terdiri dari 177 orang peserta didik kelas XI fase F SMA tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan memilih dua dari lima kelas secara acak. Sampel yang terpilih terdiri dari 36 orang peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan 35 orang peserta didik kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes yang berjumlah 15 soal. Data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan menggunakan independent t test karena terdistribusi normal dan memiliki variansi yang homogen. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh sig (2-tailed) < 0,05; yang berarti hasil belajar kelas eskperimen lebih tinggi secara signifikan dari kelas kontrol. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan e-modul asam basa berbasis guided discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik SMA fase F.

This type of research used quasi-experimental research design, namely pretest-posttest control group design. The population consists of students of class XI MIPA at SMAN 1 Linggabayu in the academic year 2021/2022. The sample was selected using random sampling technique, and the sample classes were XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 4. The instrument used in this study was a test instrument in the form of multiple-choice questions consisting of 20 questions with 5 answer choices. The data analysis technique used the n-gain test, normality test, F test and hypothesis testing (t test). The average learning outcomes of experimental and control class students were 81 and 72, respectively. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas dari modul termokimia berbasis discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian berbentuk pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 13 Padang sebanyak tujuh kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling yaitu teknik pemilihan sampel dengan sedemikian rupa yang di uji berdasarkan uji normalitas dan homogenitas pada nilai raport peserta didik, tahap selanjutkan mengacak atau merandom kelas sampel, pada penelitian ini memiliki 2 kelas sampel untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, sehingga terpilih kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIPA 6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen melaksanakan proses pembelajaran menggunakan modul termokimia berbasis discovery learning, sedangkan kelas kontrol melaksanakan proses pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan modul tetapi menggunakan bahan ajar yang biasa digunakan disekolah yaitu LKPD. Instrumen penelitian berbentuk soal pretest-posttest yang dinyatakan valid, reliabel, memiliki daya beda soal, dan indeks kesukaran yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan nilai N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan nilai masing-masing adalah 0,82 dan 0,72. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,19 > 1,99. Dengan demikian, penggunaan modul termokimia berbasis discovery learning efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the thermochemical module based on discovery learning on student learning outcomes. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study were all seven grade XI MIPA students at SMAN 13 Padang. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling technique, namely the technique of selecting samples in such a way that is tested based on normality and homogeneity tests on students' report cards, the next stage is randomizing or random sample classes, in this study there are 2 sample classes for the experimental class and the control class , so that class XI MIPA 2 was chosen as the experimental class and XI MIPA 6 as the control class. The experimental class carried out the learning process using a thermochemical module based on discovery learning, while the control class carried out the learning process without using a module but using teaching materials commonly used in schools, namely LKPD. The research instrument was in the form of pretest-posttest questions which were stated to be valid, reliable, had good discriminating power, and a good index of difficulty. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it was found that the N-Gain value in the experimental class was higher than the control class with respective values being 0.82 and 0.72. Based on the hypothesis test using the t-test, the value of tcount > ttable is 2.19 > 1.99. Thus, the use of thermochemical modules based on discovery learning is effective in improving student learning outcomes.
