Abstract

The purpose of this research endeavor is to evaluate the feasibility of comic-based educational media grounded in an Islamic nuanced constructivist framework, employing Canva applications for the instruction of solar system content. The study was carried out in accordance with Thiagarajan's 4D model, engaging seventh-grade students from SMP/MTs. Data were gathered from the feedback of both students and educators, in conjunction with validation from subject matter specialists, media professionals, and religious authorities. The outcomes of the investigation reveal that the material validation from experts achieved a score of 91%, media experts assigned a score of 86%, while religious authorities contributed a score of 82%. These findings signify a commendable degree of validation. In summary, drawing upon the assessments from experts and the affirmative feedback from educators and students, it can be inferred that the comic-based learning media, rooted in an Islamic constructivist paradigm utilizing Canva applications, serves as an efficacious and stimulating educational instrument for imparting knowledge regarding solar system concepts.

Abstract

This study aimed to (1) find out how to develop a simple experimental tool for Melde‘s experiment, (2) determine the feasibility level of simple melde‘s experiments. The method used in this research was Research and Development which was adapted from Thiagarajan (4D) including define, design, develop and dissemination. This research was done until the development stage. The results of the study includes the simple experimental practice of melde‘s experiment and the feasibility level of simple experimental tool of melde‘s experiment. Based on 86,7% of experts’ judgement, the simple experimental tool is categorized into very feasible. The result of trial experiment in one on one, small group and fields are 83.3%, 87.5% and 90.9 % respectively. The three experimental results were categorized into highly feasible. Thus, the development of simple experimental tools for melde’s experiment is worthy as a learning media.

Abstract

 The rapid digital transformation in education has brought significant challenges and opportunities, particularly in integrating technology to improve learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in enhancing student learning outcomes, focusing on the Education Management course. Using a quasi-experimental design, the research involved 18 students who underwent pre-test and post-test assessments. The results showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with the average post-test score (80.67) significantly higher than the pre-test score (54.89), supported by statistical analysis (sig. 0.000). The findings align with Al-Fraihat et al. (2020) and Sun et al. (2008), emphasizing the importance of LMS usability, content quality, and integration with active learning strategies. However, challenges such as the digital divide and lack of face-to-face interaction need addressing through equitable access to technology and hybrid learning models. The study concludes that LMS is an effective tool for digital learning transformation, recommending continuous content development, training, and periodic evaluation to maximize its potential.

Abstract

Research on the development of E-Comics using the STEAM approach based on character education for the topic of sound waves for high school students in class XI aimed to determine the feasibility of E-Comics through expert validation and to find out the response of students to the attractiveness of E-Comics with the STEAM approach based on character education for the topic of sound waves for high school students in class XI. The research method used in this study is the ADDIE model. The subjects involved in the research include 3 media experts, 3 subject matter experts, and high school students in class XI from MAN 1 Bandar Lampung and SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. The experts evaluated the validity of the material and its relevance, while teachers and students assessed the attractiveness of the E-Comics developed by the researcher. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the feasibility of E-Comics with the STEAM approach based on character education was very high according to expert evaluation criteria. The percentages of validation from experts were 93% for material and 95% for media. Teachers gave a positive response of 95%, and students also gave a positive response to the attractiveness of E-Comics with the STEAM approach based on character education as a learning medium. The results of small group testing were 94%, and field testing were 95%. It can be concluded that E-Comics with the STEAM approach based on character education for the topic of sound waves for high school students in class XI is very feasible and attractive and received positive responses to be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the dynamics of character education implementation in shaping students with noble character (akhlakul karimah) at SMP Negeri 1 Buay Bahuga, Lampung using a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, and were then thematically analyzed. The findings reveal that character education is implemented through habituation, teacher exemplification, and the reinforcement of religious culture in daily activities such as Quran recitation, congregational prayers, and religious extracurricular programs. The core values developed include religiosity, discipline, responsibility, empathy, tolerance, honesty, and integrity. The successful internalization of these values is strongly influenced by the synergy between teachers, the school, and the surrounding community. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of a collaborative and contextual approach in creating an effective character education ecosystem. The novelty of this research lies in its examination of how values of akhlakul karimah are not only taught but also brought to life through real practices, school culture, and socially embedded interactions within the local school context

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah memberikan dampak besar terhadap pembentukan karakter generasi muda dalam dunia Pendidikan. Di tengah tantangan era informasi dan budaya instan, pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) dituntut untuk tidak hanya menyampaikan pengetahuan agama, tetapi juga membentuk karakter yang religius dan beradab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalasis strategi pembelajaran PAI dalam membentuk karakter generasi digital di SMPN 1 Buay Bahuga. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan, yaitu mulai tanggal 1 Februari 2025 hingga 30 April 2025. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru PAI, kepala sekolah, dan peserta didik dari kelas VII, VIII, dan IX. Teknik analisis data melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran PAI yang diterapkan memadukan pendekatan pendidikan profetik Nabi dan Rasul dengan metode Market Place Activity. Pendidikan profetik ditanamkan melalui integrasi nilai-nilai seperti shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, dan fathanah ke dalam materi pembelajaran, serta pembiasaan kegiatan religius di sekolah. Sementara itu, metode Market Place Activity mendorong siswa untuk aktif, kolaboratif, dan reflektif dalam memahami serta menerapkan nilai-nilai Islam secara kontekstual. Kedua pendekatan ini terbukti meningkatkan kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, sikap sopan santun, dan kesadaran etika digital peserta didik. Novelty penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi simultan antara pendekatan nilai profetik dengan metode pembelajaran aktif berbasis Market Place Activity dalam konteks pendidikan karakter di era digital. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya memperkuat pemahaman konseptual siswa, tetapi juga membentuk perilaku positif dalam kehidupan nyata, termasuk dalam penggunaan teknologi secara etis dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan mencakup satuan pendidikan lain dan mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi terukur guna memantau dampak pembelajaran PAI terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini berangkat dari belum optimalnya integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan lingkungan dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an, khususnya pada metode Qiro’ati yang selama ini lebih difokuskan pada aspek teknis bacaan. Padahal, Al-Qur’an mengandung banyak pesan ekologis yang penting untuk ditanamkan sejak dini kepada peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana metode Qiro’ati dengan Qira’ah Imam Hafs dapat digunakan sebagai media dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai lingkungan ke dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an secara efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di Rumah Qur’an Bunda Aisyah 17 Lampung. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai lingkungan melalui metode Qiro’ati berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis, kedisiplinan, dan tanggung jawab siswa. Pemilihan ayat bertema lingkungan dan pembiasaan perilaku cinta alam memperluas makna pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dari sekadar teknis baca-tulis menjadi etis dan spiritual. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pengembangan kurikulum Al-Qur’an berbasis nilai dan spiritualitas ekologis, serta kontribusi teoretis dalam membangun jembatan antara ilmu tajwid, pendidikan karakter, dan ekopedagogi Islam. Sebagai tindak lanjut, disarankan agar model integrasi nilai lingkungan ini dapat diadopsi secara lebih luas oleh lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya, serta dikembangkan dalam bentuk kurikulum tematik yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The curriculum is present as a guide used by educators where the curriculum undergoes various changes as a form of adaptation to a dynamic era. One of them is by implementing an merdeka curriculum where this curriculum tends to be considered as a new one. This curriculum is still in the process of being implemented gradually. Nevertheless, there are some schools have implemented merdeka curriculum. Those schools have emphasized independent learning according to the needs and characteristics of students. This study aims to determine and analyze the implementation of the merdeka curriculum at Public Elementary School 2 Pasuruan in improving religious morals. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. While the data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the merdeka curriculum at Public Elementary School 2 Pasuruan has started to run effectively in improving religious morals. The implementation of the independent curriculum is a very good breakthrough to be implemented, because in its policies it can make it easier for teachers to teach basic and important material to students without having to be burdened with other essential material.

Abstract

The strengthening of students’ religious character is a key objective of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in elementary schools. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of IRE learning in fostering religious values among elementary students in the Belitang Madang Raya Sub-District, East OKU Regency. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, principals, and students, and documentation analysis. The findings revealed that religious character values, such as honesty, responsibility, social awareness, and discipline, were effectively instilled through integrated learning strategies, religious routines, and teacher role modeling. Supporting factors included a religious school culture, cooperation with parents and communities, and the presence of Islamic-based programs. However, several obstacles were identified, such as limited awareness among some students and educators and the dominance of cognitive-oriented teaching methods. Overall, the study highlights the importance of holistic strategies and collaborative efforts in fostering religious character, offering insights for broader implementation in similar sociocultural contexts.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the feasibility of the developed STEM-based interactive e-book in improving students' scientific literacy to deal with independent learning policies of independent campuses. Furthermore, this study aims to determine the impact of the developed e-book and investigate students' interest in the e-book. This research employs the ADDIE development model as a type of R&D, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The findings indicate that the STEM-based interactive e-book increases students' scientific literacy skills, with an N-Gain score of 0.56 in the medium category. Based on the expert validation, the developed e-book obtained a percentage of 82.33 % from the material experts, 86.38 % from the media experts, 80.00 % from the IT experts, and 88.09 % from the scientific literacy test instrument experts. All categories belong to the highly feasible criteria. The percentage of students’ responses toward the attractiveness of the e-book was 87.02 %. The developed STEM-based interactive e-book is appropriate for use in education. This study adds new knowledge and experience to developing STEM-based interactive e-books. Besides, providing electronic teaching material in the form of STEM-based interactive e-books can be used to support students’ learning and trigger scientific literacy in the globalization era.
