Abstract

THE GENDER RELATIONS AND POWERS OF ISLAM IN INDONESIA:  This paper is a review of a book entitled  Gender and Power  in Indonesian Islam:  Leaders,  Feminists,  Sufis  and Pesantren Selves, edited by Bianca J. Smith and Mark Woodward published by Routledge, London and New York in 2014. This book examines the surrounding gender and development  of the role of women  in Indonesia,  in terms  of leadership, religious  politics, feminism, mysticism and its influence in Indonesia, especially the world of boarding schools. This book is brave enough to revealed the theme  about  the issue of gender namely in pesantren.  Like challenge  the  tiger  in its  cage. However,  in contrast  to gender studies written  by Westerners in general, this book is certainly a protagonist  and not hostile the Moslem such as the masterpiece of the Western people over the years. In addition,  the book also involves some local writers.  Most other Western  writers submit data  Indonesian  Islamic studies  in private  in the  sense of self- written. This is a new approach in the study of the contemporary orientalism  which increases the load Islamic studies objectively. However,  Islamic  studies   who  stuck  around  women  in this book still  feel mono-paradigm  though  written  by the East  side (Indonesia) and the West side. Therefore, the gender paradigm is used to show the impression of partiality  Islam against women at the same time which is practiced  in the involvement  of women on the  political  sphere leadership  and  Sufism  in Lombok  and Aceh which still  depart  from the paradigm  of Western  gender. In fact, the version of the typical domestic and gender approach demonstrated  that women has the balance position with men and women can take the fight against the men domination as the echo from the western version idea about the gender.

Abstract

Bagi seorang mahasiswa Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan, sangatdisadari bahwa produknya kelak adalah akan menjadi seorang guru yangdiharapkan profesional. Pengertian Profesional disini merupakan suatuhasil, hasil diperoleh dari suatu proses. Jika proses perkuliahan,pemahaman tentang makna dari suatu istilah belum dimengerti denganbaik, bagaimana dengan produknya kelak? Oleh sebab itu, dalam tulisan ini akan dibahas istilah-istilah dalam pembelajaran, khususnya konsep pendekatan pembelajaran. Penulis berharap dari apa yang dipaparkan akan memberikan pemahaman terhadap pendekatan dalam pembelajaran, khususnya pendekatan quantum learning atau quantum teaching yang bersumber dari konsep kefisikaan. Quantum adalah sebuah temuan yang telah menyelamatkan manusiadari bencana ultraviolet. Quantum Training telah menyelamatkan manusia  dari bencana “ultrasekolah” dan “ultra belajar” Quantum pertama kali ditemukan oleh Max Planck pada akhir abad ke-19. Ia menemukan sebuah rumus fisika yang sahih yang dapat menanggulangi bencana ultraviolet. Sejak saat itu istilah Quantum digunakan pada banyak aspek kehidupan yang antara lain digunakan pada bidang pendidikan dan pembelajaran.Diabad ke-20 ini orang : dipaksa” belajar diruang kelas yang disusunsecara kaku dan terdiri dari meja dan kursi. Nilai dan ijasah/sertifikatmenjadi ukuran keberhasilan yang pada akhirnya pembelajaran merasabahwa belajar dan sekolah merupakan beban, seiring denganperkembangan dunia pendidikan, ditemukan sebuah pendekatanpengajaran yang disebut Quantum Teaching.

Abstract

Ditengah keragaman persoalan dan perdebatan terhadap ragam metodologi penelitian yang ada, muncul apa yang disebut dengan "Penelitian dan Pengembangan" yang seakan-akan barang baru, tetapi sesungguhnya stok lama. Dikatakan stok lama, karena "Penelitian dan Pengembangan" sudah lama digunakan di sektor industri yang menghasilkan produk, baik itu produk manufaktur, maupun produk olahan atau makanan. Hanya saja untuk penelitian dibidang pembelajaran, baru mulai dilirik belakangan ini.

Abstract

Generally, the result of teaching and learning process pointed to three basic aspects, they are; cognitive, affective, and psycomotoric that must be achieved by the students. These three aspects can not be divided because they are a unity. Teaching and learning hold one important aspect in education, that is to develop and empower cognitive, affective, and psycomotoric to create students effectively. The three domains should be underwritten in teaching learning process they cover lesson planning, lesson implementation, the result of evaluation and supervision of teaching and learning process. Based on the concept result teaching and learning throughly, the teacher are obligated to make instruments for three domains in teaching and learning process and it’s application. Various kind of evaluation are made to get the responsibly result of students’ teaching and learning can describe students ability comprehensively. Secara umum, hasil pembelajaran mengarah pada tiga hal pokok yang harus mampu dicapai peserta didik, yaitu Afektif, Kognitif dan Psikomotorik. Ketiga hal ini tidak boleh dipisahkan karena merupakan satu kesatuan. Pembelajaran sebagai salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan memegang peranan mengembangkan dan memberdayakan domain kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor bagi peserta didik secara seimbang. Keseimbangan pengembangan dan pemberdayaan ketiga domain tersebut harus tertuang dengan jelas dalam proses pembelajaran, meliputi perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penilaian hasil pembelajaran, dan pengawasan proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan konsep hasil belajar yang bersifat menyeluruh, sudah menjadi keharusan bahwa guru harus membuat instrumen pada ketiga ranah dalam pembelajaran tersebut dan melakukan penerapan penilaiannya. Berbagai bentuk penilaian dibuat untuk memperoleh hasil belajar peserta didik yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan serta benar-benar dapat menggambarkan kemampuan peserta didik secara komprehensif.Kata kunci: domain pembelajaran, instrumen penilaian, ketidakseimbanga

Abstract

Nowadays, gadged just like handphone and notebook more reachable so the quantities of the users are increase in Indonesia. It is common for us to see the students, employees, enterpreneurs until housewives using gadged anywhere and anytime. This phenomenon is spread widely along with the internet wifi and hotspot in many places start from official educational institute, government, and office centre, to the tourism object and shopping center. Also with internet café (Warnet) compete tightly with offering various facilities, and services with compete price. All cellphone service is also giving internet access in order to attract users. Some phenomena show more and more people who use the Internet and make it as a lifestyle for berintaksi, socialize, learn and get information. Widespread use of the Internet can be a great potential in the development of online learning system allows learners to access the information flexibly without limitation of time and place. Discussion no longer occur face to face, but can continue even in the virtual environment. As the implementation of other virtual learning methods. Implementation of online discussion itself is basically adopting the method of learning face to face discussionHarga gadged seperti handphone dan  dan  notebook kian hari kian terjangkau sehingga jumlah penggunanya di indonesia terus meningkat. Bukan lah suatu yang asing jika kita menjumpai para siswa, mahasiswa, karyawan, pengusaha hingga ibu rumah tangga menggunakan gadged di mana saja dan kapan saja. Fenomena ini diiringi dengan meluasnya jaringan internet nirkabel seperti hotspot  dan  wifi di berbagai tempat mulai dari institusi  resmi pendidikan, pemerintahan, dan perkantoran, hingga tempat wisata,dan pusat perbelanjaan. Tidak mau ketinggalan warnet (warung internet) ikut bersaing ketat dengan menawarkan berbagai macam fasilitas, dan layanan dengan harga bersaing. Seluruh layanan seluler ponsel juga terus memberikan penawaran akses internet yang menggiurkan demi menarik minat penggunanya. Beberapa fenomena tersebut menunjukkan semakin banyak kalangan yang memanfaatkan internet dan menjadikanya sebagai gaya hidup untuk berintaksi, bersosialisasi, belajar dan mendapatkan informasi. Meluasnya pemanfaatan internet bisa menjadi potensi besar dalam pengembangan pembelajaran dengan sistem online memungkinkan pebelajar untuk mengakses infromasi secara fleksibel tanpa terbatas waktu dan tempat. Diskusi tidak lagi terjadi secara tatap muka, namun dapat terus berlangsung meskipun dalam lingkungan maya. Sebagaimana pelaksanaan metode pembelajaran maya lainnya. Pelaksanaannya diskusi online itu sendiri pada dasarnya mengadopsi dari metode pembelajaran diskusi tatap muka.

Abstract

This paper is a review of a book entitled diversity and cultural differences and cross religion in human history. With the current knowledge, the length of human life on our planet named Earth, can be expected, when, how it goes, and how an event can be reconstructed for the time being. When humans first started there, breeding, hunting animals in the forest, growing wheat or rice, raising cattle or goats, build villages, cities, establish a state, and gave birth to civilization, all can be described in various fields of science, including the science of history, which assisted by anthropology, biology, chemistry, physics and other sciences, to see evidence of the past in ruins, fossils, manuscripts and inscriptions pursue this statement to discuss the past. Historians assisted experts other fields of science, able to predict when an event occurred, how the story goes, begins and ends, an ancient kingdom in the past, the findings temple tradition religion of the past is gone, the currency prevailing in the society a few centuries ago , a technology developed communities that were already extinct, and also religions that have been passed and no longer followed.Tulisan ini merupakan review atas buku yang berjudul keragaman dan perbedaan budaya dan agama dalam lintas sejarah manusia. Dengan pengetahuan saat ini, lamanya manusia hidup di planet yang kita namai bumi, bisa diperkirakan, kapan, bagaimana perkembangannya, dan bagaimana sebuah kejadian bisa direkonstruksi ulang untuk saat ini. Kapan manusia pertama mulai ada, berkembang biak, berburu binatang di hutan, menanam gandum atau padi, membesarkan sapi atau kambing, membangun desa, kota, mendirikan negara, dan melahirkan peradaban, semua bisa dijelaskan dengan berbagai bidang ilmu, diantaranya adalah ilmu sejarah, yang dibantu dengan antropologi, biologi, kimia, fisika dan ilmu lain, untuk melihat bukti masa lalu berupa reruntuhan, fosil, manuskrip, dan prasasti yang menekuni pernyataan ini untuk membahas masa lalu. Ahli sejarah dibantu ahli bidang ilmu lainnya, mampu  memperkirakan kapan terjadi suatu peristiwa, bagaimana jalan ceritanya, berawal dan berakhir, sebuah kerajaan kuno di masa lalu, temuan candi bertradisi agama masa lalu yang sudah hilang, mata uang yang berlaku di masyarakat beberapa abad yang lalu, teknologi yang dikembangkan masyarakat yang sudah punah, dan juga agama-agama yang telah berlalu dan tidak ada lagi pengikutnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect size scramble learning model with video media on Physics students learning outcomes of class X MAN 1 Pesisir Barat on the measurement material. The research method used was a quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The survey results revealed that the normality test of the experimental class Lcount = 0.161052 and class control while Lcount = 0.149135 Ltable = 0.1726. Terms of normality test L count <L table then normally distributed data. To test the homogeneity of Fcount<Ftable = 1.166 <1.96 then the data homogeneous. Test hypotheses obtained tcount> t table = 6.4> 1.708 means that there are significant scramble learning model with video media to the learning outcomes of students subject matter physics measurements in class X MAN 1 Pesisir Barat. Furthermore, the effect size obtained results of 0.8. These results indicate that the learning model Scramble with video media can influence the outcome of physics students learn as much as 79%.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui effect size model pembelajaran scramble dengan media video terhadap hasil belajar Fisika peserta didik kelas X MAN 1 pesisir barat pada materi pengukuran. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah quasi eksperimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa uji normalitas pada kelas eksperimen Lhitung=0,161052dan kelas kontrol Lhitung=0.149135 sedangkan Ltabel= 0,1726. Syarat uji normalitas Lhitung< Ltabel maka data terdistribusi normal. Untuk uji homogenitas, Fhitung < Ftabel = 1,166< 1,96 makadata homogen. Uji hipotesis didapatkan thitung > t tabel   = 6,4 >1,708 artinya, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran scramble dengan media video terhadap hasil belajar Fisika peserta didik materi pokok pengukuran di kelas X MAN 1 Pesisir Barat. Selanjutnya, diperoleh hasil uji effect size sebesar 0,8. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Scramble dengan media video dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar fisika peserta didik sebanyak 79%.

Abstract

The application of Integrated teaching materials in teaching and learning science is very important, to support students acquire comprehensive knowledge and skills and make the learning process more memorable. Teachers must be good at choosing methods and packaging the teaching materials well to attract students' learning interests. This study aims to examine the analysis of the development of integrated Science on Student Worksheet using the steps of cooperative methods of Student Teams Achievement Divisions type. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach (Multi-case single-site case study design). The data were collected through analytical documents and analyzed thematically with NVIVO 10 software. The results showed that the steps to develop integrated science on Student Worksheet using cooperative method of Student Teams Achievement Divisions are: (1) In Student Worksheet there must be motivation and apperception; (2) team building; (3) presentations from teachers; (4) learning activities in teams must be heterogeneous; (5) implementation of individual quizzes; (6) awarding. The results of this study are discussed with various results of previous research.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an active learning media in the form of Web-Enhanced Course. This research and development research follows the development steps of Borg & Gall. Data collection instruments used were validation sheets and questionnaires. The assessments’ average score for the feasibility of the product from the material experts is 84.83%, from media experts is 81.76%, and informatics experts are 83.61% in the very feasible category. Furthermore, the percentage of the results of small-group testing is 76.44% and for field-testing is 82.97%. Thus, the developed product is suitable to be used as a media for physics learning. The web is developed using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) for the Basic Physics II subject

Abstract

The internalization of character education in science learning through a variety of learning media has been researched recently, one of which is through the photonovela media which is the medium of insertion of character values in learning material. The focus of this research is; 1) developing photonovela learning media with character education on work material and energy, 2) knowing photonovela media feasibility as a supplement to physics learning with character education on work material and energy 3) knowing the response of students to photonovela media with character education in an energy material. This research is a Research and Development study adopted the development of Borg and Gall with the subject of junior high school students. The research instruments used were questionnaires by material experts, media experts, and junior high school physics teachers and questionnaires for students' responses in the three schools. The results of the assessment by material experts obtained a percentage of 85%, the assessment of media experts was 90%, and the assessment of junior high school teachers was 84.16%, while the response of students in three junior high schools was 87.6%, 94%, and 93.6%. In conclusion, this study produced a product in the form of appropriate photonovela media as a supplement to physics learning with character education on business material and energy
