Abstract

Based on previous research and phenomena, researchers will analyze the success and failure factors of mergers and acquisitions in order to gain a deeper understanding. The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that contribute to success and failure in the process of mergers and acquisitions. The research method used is qualitative research with descriptive analysis techniques, using library research. This study aims to describe current and past phenomena in the context of mergers and acquisitions, the results of the research show that the implementation of strict and comprehensive due diligence is an important factor in achieving success in conducting M&A. Organizational culture was identified as an important catalyst influencing the success rate of M&A. that strong and strategic leadership, including transformational leaders.

Abstract

Quality Fried Chicken is a fast food restaurant that serves chicken products and other products related to chicken meat. The high growth of fast food restaurants in Indonesia will create competition among fast food restaurants in providing good products and services to consumers. Quality Fried Chicken must know aspects of its environment by maintaining cleanliness of good product and service quality if Quality Fried Chicken does not want its customers to move to other restaurants. To improve service quality, Quality Fried Chicken provides delivery service facilities to provide convenience to consumers who are reluctant to queue on location. The analysis technique used in this research is quantitative using interview and interview methods. This study also uses qualitative data analysis techniques, SWOT analysis techniques, and Potential Demand Projection Techniques (Trend Method).

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat tentang tingkat pemahaman pegawai terhadap manajemen perkantoran modern di wilyah sukabumi pada dinas perpustakaan dan arsip daerah kota sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui observasi,  wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian melakukan observasi dengan mensurvei langsung Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Kota Sukabumi terkait kebutuhan informasi. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data primer dan sekunder. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah Kota Sukabumi telah terlaksana dengan baik menurut klasifikasi arsip dinamis dan statis.

Abstract

Background: The prevalence of stunting in Kepahyang Regency in Bengkulu Province is high (24.9%). Despite the policy of Accelerating Stunting Reduction or Percepatan Penurunan Stunting (PPS) outlined in Presidential Decree Number 72 of 2021, results have been suboptimal. Aims: This study aims to analyze and evaluate the implementation of PPS policies and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. Methods: Research using a qualitative approach, focusing on the evaluation of achievements of 11 specific nutrition intervention indicators with policy implementation analysis using the strengthening of Edward III policy analysis. Data collection used in-depth interview guidelines with six stakeholders, focus group discussions (FGD) in two groups, and document observation. Informants are selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis uses content analysis.   Results: The implementation of PPS in Kepahyang Regency faces communication problems, limited resources, complex bureaucratic structures, and inadequate supervision, which shows the need for increased coordination and support. Village government support and good social conditions are supporting factors, while lack of communication between the village government and the community and minimal budget support are the main obstacles.   Conclusion: Communication issues, resource limitations, bureaucratic complexity, and inadequate supervision are the inhibiting factors. Abstract

21stcentury learning is an era in which science and technology are developing very rapidly and demand quality human resources and can compete globally. One of the skills that meet the demands of this century is critical thinking skills which are developed through the provision of Student Worksheets. This study aims to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the e-student worksheet on the concept of Ferns (Pteridophyte) based on Critical Thinking Skills. The subjects of the validity test were three experts, the individual test was three students of class X high school level and the small group test was four students of class X high school level. This type of research is development research to produce valid, practical, and effective products. The results showed that: 1) the validity of the e-student worksheet has a valid category, 2) the practicality of thee-student worksheet has a good category, and 3) the effectiveness of e-student worksheet expectations based on the assessment of students critical thinking skills in doing tasks on thee-student worksheet has a very good category (covering interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, and explanation) and good category on self-regulation aspect.

Abstract

Mayoritas masyarakat di Desa Muktijaya, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir bermata pencaharian sebagai petani padi, namun saat ini banyak yang mengalihfungsikan lahan menjadi kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui proses konversi lahan, faktor yang memengaruhi konversi lahan, perbedaan pendapatan petani padi dan kelapa sawit, serta pola konsumsinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan September-Desember 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional stratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Proses konversi lahan didasarkan pada pertimbangan ekonomi, keberlanjutan, dan kondisi lingkungan; (2) Faktor yang mempunyai pengaruh nyata terhadap keputusan petani untuk mengalihfungsikan lahan adalah umur dan pendapatan petani. (3) Rata-rata pendapatan petani padi sebesar Rp19.079.912,00 ha/tahun, sedangkan petani kelapa sawit sebesar Rp30.478.557,00 ha/tahun. (4) Pola konsumsi rumah tangga petani padi untuk pangan sebesar Rp566.116,00/bulan (12,74 persen) dan pengeluaran non-pangan sebesar Rp3.877.606,00/bulan (87,26 persen). Sedangkan pengeluaran pangan petani kelapa sawit sebesar Rp987.043,00/bulan (18,81 persen) dan pengeluaran non-pangan sebesar Rp4.259.083,00/bulan (81,19 persen).    Most of people in Muktijaya Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, work as rice farmers, however, many are currently converting their land into oil palm plantations. This study aimed to determine the land conversion process, factors influencing land conversion, income differences between rice and oil palm farmers, and consumption patterns. This study was conducted in September-December 2023. This study used a survey method with a sampling method using proportional stratified random sampling. The results of this study were: (1) The land conversion process was based on economic considerations, sustainability, and environmental conditions; (2) Factors significantly affecting farmers’ decisions to convert land were the age and income of farmers; (3) The average income of rice farmers was IDR19,079,912.00 ha/year, while oil palm farmers was IDR30,478,557.00 ha/year; (4) The consumption pattern of rice farmer households for food was IDR566,116.00/month (12.74 percent) and non-food expenditure was IDR3,877,606.00/month (87.26 percent). Meanwhile, food expenditure of oil palm farmers was Rp. 987,043/month (18.81 percent) and non-food expenditure was IDR4,259,083.00/month (81.19 percent).

Abstract

The implementation of community service aims to empower community through increased capabilities and independence. By utilizing science and technology, hoped that community can find social, economic, and environmental problem solutions. In digital era, important for stakeholders to provide knowledge about digital platforms use such as social media for marketing. Indonesia with more than 204.7 million internet users, shows great potential utilizing online marketing. Through counselling and training, community can learn to manage promotional content effectively includes Effectiveness of Posting Time, Content Elements, Hashtag Use, Promotional content types, Promotional content planning, Promotional content topics, Copywriting Functions, and Artificial Intelligent (AI) Applications Use in Copywriting. Community service activity which was attended by 25 members of Burai Village Tourism Awareness group with senior high school education as majority levels is potential Human Resource to support village economic development. Evaluation results to participants showed 80% increase in ability to several aspects such as choosing most effective posting time, choosing video content as most responsive content element, efficiency in using number of hashtags, choosing video as most effective promotional content, and scheduled content planning. However, there are still some aspects that need to be improved, especially to selection promotional content topics, understanding copywriting function, and use AI applications to support copywriting, which achieved increase in ability of 50% of total participants. This indicates that there is still need for more intensive training programs in terms of frequency and quality training to improve promotional content management competencies that reach more social media user responses.

Abstract

Perdebatan seputar penting tidaknya menghafal telah menjadi perbincangan yang serius akhir-akhir ini. Beragam tanggapan telah dikeluarkan oleh para pakar pendidikan, baik yang mendukung maupun yang menolak, tetapi suara dari praktisi pendidikan Islam belum terdengar. Artikel ini ingin mengisi kekosongan ini dengan melakukan penelusuran sejarah atas praktik penghafalan di institusi pendidikan Islam dari era Ottoman hingga contemporary Indonesia. Kajian kepustakaan ini juga mengangkat isu yang tak kalah penting, yaitu devaluasi nilai menghafal al-Qur’an pada maraknya rumah-rumah tahfidz di Indonesia belakangan ini. Artikel ini menyimpulkan tiga hal penting: Pertama, hafalan telah menjadi dan akan selalu menjadi metode pembelajaran yang menyatu dalam kurikulum pendidikan Islam. Kedua, hafalan tidak menegasikan dengan sendirinya proses pemahaman. Pertentangan dua hal ini hanyalah bagian dari kerancuan cara berpikir kita yang bingung membedakan antara ontologi system pendidikan Islam dan pendidikan Eropa. Ketiga, embodiment al-Qur’an dengan diri seorang Muslim adalah sebuah tujuan mulia yang selama sekian abad menjadi trademark dari institusi pendidikan Islam, dan terancam hilang. Dalam konteks pendidikan di Indonesia, tiga temuan ini relevan untuk mengusung setidaknya dua strategi pendidikan: jenjang Pendidikan Islam yang berkelanjutan dan urgensi mempertahankan sistem pendidikan yang indigenous dari rahim institusi pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and evaluate Collaborative Governance implemented by the government, private sector and the community in handling stunting in Enrekang Regency. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach to describe and analyze data obtained through interviews, observations, documentation and literature studies with a purposive sampling method related to the implementation of Collaborative Governance of the Enrekang Regency Government. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis through data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that based on Collaborative Governance by Emerson, it is known that the stakeholders involved have implemented the Dynamics, Actions and Impact and Adaptation of Collaboration well. However, some of the components in it still need to be evaluated and maximized. Among them are the Collaboration Dynamics which still have obstacles in the form of deliberations that have not run optimally and parties who do not know about existing procedures and collective agreements. This certainly affects the Collaborative Action which makes low involvement from several other actors and ultimately also has an impact on the lack of maximum stunting reduction. This study promotes equitable collaboration among all stakeholders to enhance the success of stunting prevention programs and foster active participation from all involved parties.

Abstract

“You can blame me, that I started (the Integration-Interconnection of Science, hereinafter referred to as I-Con) from a theological (agenda), but my theology is not your theology. The difference (between them) is in the cross-reference of (sciences)”. This was Amin Abdullah’s response to a question addressed to him on whether the I-Con mega project is better regarded as an academic or theological agenda, a query that will always haunt it for years to come, as long as one still wonders if academic and theological studies to religious texts can swim in the same pool. This article is written to divulge some challenges and pitfalls in the mainstreaming of the I-Con paradigm for lecturers and students of the Qur’an and Tafsir Studies program in Indonesian Islamic Universities. Foremost is the nature of this paradigm as a reformist preaching orientated towards contextual-thematic interpretation, thus diverting the main attention of researchers in Qur’anic studies from uncovering many other important elements of the Qur’an. This article further argues that I-Con has significantly contributed to the establishment of what is referred to as the academic echolalia in applying foreign theories to tafsir studies, an oversight that should be rethought before it goes too far away.
