Abstract

This research aims to assess whether the corporate governance structure affect the company›s performance during the company conduct an Initial Public Offering (IPO) by using the period of 2002-2013. This study focuses on the effect of the structure of corporate governance on corporate performance. According to the results of previous research, the variables of corporate governance structure, namely the number of the members of the board of commissioners, the independence of board members, audit committee and auditors quality showed a significant effect on the company›s performance. This research is ekspost facto (causal comparative), namely the systematic empirical finding, which researchers can not control the independent variables because events have occurred since nature can not be dimanipulasi.Metode selection of samples used is purposive sampling and the sample used is 124 sample compa-nies conducting Initial Public Offering. This research uses multiple regression test model, using partial test and test simultaneously. Partial regression analysis results showed that the independence of the members of the board of commissioners and board members significantly affect the company›s performance. While simultaneously obtained results corporate governance structure significantly affect the level of performance of companies that conduct an Initial Public Offering (IPO) with the F value of 3.181 with a significance test amounted to 0,016. The significance value is less than the 0.05 level. For companies that did an IPO in the future, it is advisable to pay attention to the number of the members of the board of commissioners and the number of independent board members as in this study has a positive and significant impact on the performance of the company. For investors who will invest in the company›s IPO may notice the number of the members of the board of commissioners and the number of independent board members as it can be used as one of the consid-erations in investing. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji apakah struktur corporate governance perusahaan dan reputasi underwriter mempengaruhi IPO underpricing perusahaan yang go public dengan menggunakan periode tahun 2010-2016. Penelitian ini menitikberatkan pada pengaruh reputasi underwriter dan struktur corporate governance yaitu komposisi dewan komisaris independen, komite audit dan dewan direksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ekspost facto dengan menggunakan dimensi waktu cross sectional study. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan yang melakukan Initial Public Offering (IPO) di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2010-2016. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 117 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa reputasi underwriter dan dewan direksi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap IPO Underpricing di Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to test the effect of institusional ownwership, corporate social responsibility, firm size and investment opportunity set to firm value of non financial company that listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2018. The sample used in the study is 151 observations of non financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015 to 2018 and took a sample using purposive sampling method. The data in the study came from the secondary data obtained through technical documentation. Data analysis technique used is the classial assumption test and multiple regression with the help of SPSS 21 for windows. The data of this study was to quality the classical assumption and test the suitability of the model with an adhusted R2 of 60,3%. The results show that: institusional ownership and firm size has a no effect to corporate value; corporate social responsibility and investment opportunity set has a positive significant to corporate value.Keyword : institusional ownership, corporate social responsibility, firm size, investment opportunity set, firm value

Abstract

Teknologi nanobubble dapat digunakan pada kegiatan budidaya udang vaname dengan kepadatan tinggi. Pengangkutan selama 48 jam, oksigen terlarut perlakuan oksigen murni 9,99-11,39 mg/L, perlakuan nanobubble 20,71-22,65 mg/L. Salinitas tidak berubah dan masih dalam kondisi rentang layak bagi kehidupan benur. Salinitas pada akhir pengangkutan dengan teknologi nanobubble 32o/oo, perlakuan oksigen murni 32,7-33,3o/oo. Suhu air relatif tidak berubah dan masih dalam rentang layak bagi kehidupan benur, suhu 29,13-29,33°C. pH akhir media pengangkutan teknologi nanobubble yakni 7,15-7,66 dan perlakuan oksigen murni 6,97-7,41. Kandungan karbondioksida perlakuan oksigen murni terjadi kenaikan sebesar 13,05-16,51 mg/L, perlakuan nanobubble sebesar 10,78-11,31 mg/L. TAN relatif sama untuk semua perlakuan dengan konsentrasi 5,49 – 5,69 mg/L. Amonia perlakuan oksigen murni sebesar 0,03 sampai 0,09 mg/L, perlakuan nanobubble 0,05-0,15 mg/L. Nitrit perlakuan oksigen murni 0,02-0,05 mg/L. Nitrat konsentrasi nitrat terjadi kenaikan 11,07 sampai 13,97 mg/L.

Abstract

Elderly residents who live in madania homes use the kitchen as a kitchen places for cooking activities, and have complaints about height and slippery floor conditions, according to the elderly as many as 32% of cooking kitchen users representing the elderly population using purposive sampling, proposed design improvements for elderly cooking places by considering the anthropometric size of elderly users, using a focus approach group discussion to facilitate the wishes and complaints experienced by the elderly, the shape and size of the proposed new kitchen design for the elderly by adding a foothold in front of the kitchen to facilitate cooking reach, with a cooking kitchen width: 53 cm; Height: 132cm; length 53 cm, using anthropometric measurements, namely front arm reach (JTD) 53 cm; shoulder width(LB) (maximum) 43 cm; height (TB) 158 cm; elbow height (TS) 132 cm. The design is the result obtained from the first focus group discussion, then the results of the second focus group discussion explain the proposed new design drawings for the elderly's kitchen to the elderly, related to the suggestions obtained from the results of the first focus group discussion and the senior citizens agree with the results drawn, by having a height, width, length according to body size by adding non-permanent footing facilities in front making it easier for users to reach the kitchen for cooking activities, floors that are designed to be safe and non-slippery, and additional cupboard facilities to make it easier to store cooking utensils.Sig (2-tailed) of 0.003 <0.05 indicates that the H1 hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

In developing an independent curriculum in Indonesia, one of them cannot be separated from the role of philosophy of science, which in curriculum development is the spirit or foundation of education which must be evaluated, studied periodically, innovative and dynamic following changing times, such as the philosophical Ki Hajar Dewantara who stated that education is appropriate. the nature of nature and the nature of the times, meaning that education develops according to the times. Of course, all the changes and developments that occur in the educational curriculum cannot be separated from the results of several studies on how the implementation of this independent curriculum can overcome learning loss, the effects of the Covid pandemic plus the global challenges of change from era 4.0 to Society 5.0, which has the impact that today's generation needs. have the ability to think critically, creatively and innovatively. In the independent curriculum, it can be seen that the superiority of its characteristics is that the material is simpler and more in-depth and there is a significant reduction in material. The materials presented are limited to essential material. Reducing material provides an opportunity for students to explore the material more comprehensively. Next is more independence, which means that in an independent curriculum, students are given more freedom to choose the subjects they are interested in according to their interests, talents, potential and aspirations. Meanwhile, teachers can teach according to the stages of student achievement and development. So it is more relevant and interactive. Students are guided to be able to collaborate, work together to form groups to identify problems that are becoming issues to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students, namely faith and devotion to God Almighty and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning and creativity. The essence of this independent curriculum is independent learning. This aims to enable students to explore their respective interests, potential and talents.

Abstract

In the world of the PLTU industry, the need for material, especially the need for the sapot process and conveyor repairs, occurs in the world of PLTU, which is installed on the conveyor construction and when connecting materials, different grades are often used and this often occurs in the field during the process of combining plates with different grades. on the sapote. and for installing the plate on the sappot, use grade A and the plate that is often used is the plate for the machine foundation with grade B on the sappot material using low carbon grade A steel. In this research report, welding is carried out and combined with grade A steel which is usually used for sappots. the conveyor is combined with low carbon grade B steel in the construction of the PLTU sapot. Where welding is carried out 3x why this needs to be done is because to know the characteristics of low carbon grade A steel and low carbon grade B steel, whether the characteristics are the same or not because they are used in When grade A steel material runs out in the industry, the testing process uses 3 tests, namely to determine NDT testing (Non Destructive, test), tensile testing, and micro testing for the testing process. Abstract

Garbage is a problem that has become a global environmental issue. Problems that arise in each region can vary, whether it is about the accumulation of organic or non-organic waste. One solution to this waste problem is the existence of waste processing activities. Waste processing is part of waste management by reducing the amount of waste, in addition to utilizing the values contained in the waste itself (recycled materials, other products, and energy). Waste management is crucial and important at this time, given the large volume of waste generated in each region and needs to be handled to keep the environment clean and nice. The waste problem in Semarang Regency, especially in the Demak District, is the chosen place in this study. Through the study of literature, followed by the related waste in each village in the exploration, by the development of solutions for each problem. Organic waste that can be processed into organic fertilizer, non-organic waste, especially plastic can be a advantogous material to produce paving blocks. The results of this research are also compiled in the form of an educative and interesting ebook to inspire the community and encourage positive activities for the community.

Abstract

The transportation sector has a very vital and strategic contribution to national development, because of its role as a driver and driver of development activities and a glue for the gap between regions. Ferry transportation is transportation that functions as a bridge connecting one area with another area separated by waters. The purpose of writing this paper This article was written to find out and explain the safety equipment standards, what types of safety equipment are there, and how many are there and how many crew members are on the ferry in accordance with applicable regulations. As well as the condition of passenger safety equipment on KMP. Sebuku, KMP. Portlink V, KMP. Jatra III and find out which ship is the most complete, and has the most safety equipment and crew on board. The method used in writing this paper uses the observation method, interviews, and literature studies. In this case, data collection is in the form of observation data, as well as a collection of documentation and data related to safety equipment.

Abstract

Street lighting is one of the important factors in improving the security and safety of Wringinputih Village residents when crossing the road at night, the location of the village is adjacent to the PTPN XVIII Ngobo rubber plantation and the streets around have not been reached by electricity, so the use of solar public street lighting (PJUTS) on the Pluwang-Ngobo highway as an efficient alternative energy solution. Although the initial cost of installation is quite expensive and weather-dependent, these PJUTS lights have an impact on long-term benefits. The installation of these PJUTS lights improves the security and safety of Wringinputih residents, as well as facilitating road access for the community at night
