Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen institutional capacity and develop the business units of the Padangan Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) through enhanced managerial capabilities, business innovation, and enhanced digital marketing strategies tailored to local potential and needs. The program was implemented using a participatory empowerment approach involving various stakeholders, including the village government and local economic actors. The methods used included needs assessment, management and entrepreneurship training, intensive mentoring, and collaborative business planning. The program's results demonstrated significant improvements in BUMDes organizational governance, administrative professionalism, and a more organized and accountable financial reporting system. Furthermore, business unit diversification, local product quality improvement, and community capacity to utilize digital technology for marketing activities increased. The program also provided academic contributions in the form of empirical data and an applicable model of village empowerment based on Islamic economics. Overall, empowerment based on participation and Islamic economic values ​​has been proven to promote sustainable village economic resilience and independence.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance digital literacy and digital entrepreneurship skills among teachers and students (santri) at Pondok Pesantren Al Ittihad Darunnajah. The main issue faced by the partner institution is the low level of understanding in utilizing digital technology as a medium for business development. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, the program was carried out through stages of observation, planning, training, and evaluation, employing lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice with digital platforms. The results show a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of digital entrepreneurship, online marketing, and technology-based business management. Participants were able to apply basic skills such as creating e-commerce accounts, promoting products, and managing simple financial records. Overall, this program successfully fostered student independence and economic empowerment through the utilization of digital technology and strengthened the role of the pesantren as a center for modern entrepreneurial development.

Abstract

Pusdikpenerbad bertugas pokok menyelenggarakan pembinaan satuan Penerbang TNI Angkatan Darat dan melaksanakan operasi penerbangan angkatan darat dalam rangka mendukung tugas pokok TNI angkatan darat. Usaha yang biasa dilakukan oleh Pusdikpenerbad untuk mendapatkan rangking calon penerbad adalah melalui proses seleksi dua tahap dengan mengikuti peraturan kasad. Bagi pusdikpenerbad yang memiliki tingkat kredibilitas yang tinggi, proses seleksi biasanya dilakukan oleh tim penyeleksi khusus. Tim penilai menyeleksi peserta dengan menerima hasil dari setiap kriteria tahap pertama dan tahap kedua, proses tim penilai membutuhkan waktu atau kurang efesien untuk memproses hasil akhir peserta calon penerbad dari setiap kriteria, melihat banyaknya data yang ada. Aplikasi seleksi calon penerbang angkatan darat menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting. Aplikasi yang bertujuan untuk membantu pusdikpenerbad dalam mencari calon penerbad terbaik. Hasil pengujian aplikasi ini didapati bahwa metode Simple addive weighting mampu menentukan daftar peserta calon penerbad terbaik yang memanfaatkan beberapa pengambil keputusan.

Abstract

Temulawak (Curcuma zanthorriza Roxb.) merupakan salah satu spesies tanaman dari keluarga Zingiberaceae yang mempunyai banyak efek farmakologi yang salah satunya adalah  antibakteri. Aktivitas farmakologis tanaman ditentukan oleh kandungan kimia yang ada didalamnya dan sangat dipengaruhi oleh lokasi tumbuhnya. Dilaporkan bahwa perbedaan jenis tanah, suhu, pH, kelembaban, curah hujan, dan ketinggian dari lokasi tempat tumbuhnya rimpang temulawak berpengaruh terhadap profil metabolit dan aktivitas farmakologisnya. Di dalam penelitian ini dilakukan kajian pustaka tentang pengaruh perbedaan lokasi tumbuh rimpang temulawak terhadap aktivitas antibakterinya. Informasi rimpang temulawak yang akan dilaporkan dalam hal ini meliputi distribusi geografis dan senyawa aktif terhadap aktivitas antibakteri dari rimpang temulawak di berbagai daerah. Temulawak dapat tumbuh dengan baik pada jenis tanah latosol, andosol, podsolik dan regosol, pH tanah antara 5,0 – 6,5, curah hujan 1.500 mm/tahun, suhu 19-30oC, dan kelembaban udara 70-90%. Budidaya temulawak dapat dilakukan pada ketinggian tempat antara 100 – 600 mdpl. Temulawak yang tumbuh di dataran tinggi (sekitar 800 mdpl) cenderung memiliki kandungan xanthorrizol yang semakin tinggi, yang mana senyawa ini diketahui mempunyai efek yang kuat sebagai antibakteri. Kata Kunci: Temulawak, Antibakteri, Lokasi Tumbuh, Kandungan Kimia Temulawak (Curcuma zanthorriza Roxb.) is a plant species of Zingiberaceae family which has many pharmacological effects, one of which is antibacterial. As we know, the pharmacological activity of plants is determined by the chemical content of their metabolite and strongly influenced by location of their growth. It was reported that differences of soil type, temperature, pH, humidity, rainfall, and altitude of growth location affect the metabolite profile and pharmacological activity. In this study, a literature review was conducted on the effect of growth location difference of temulawak rhizome on its antibacterial activity. Information of temulawak rhizome which will be reported in this study includes geographic distribution and active compound related to its antimicrobial activity.          Temulawak grow well at latosol, andosol, podsolic and regosol soil types, soil pH in range of 5,0 – 6,5, rainfall 1.500 mm/year, temperature 19-30oC, and air humidity 70-90%. Temulawak cultivation can be performed at an altitude of 100-600 m above sea level. This herb which grows in the high altitude (around 800 above sea level) tends to have higher xanthorrizol content, which is known to have strong antibacterial effect.

Abstract

Population growth in Klaten City has led to an increase in the need for decent housing, especially in type 36 housing which is often built as a solution to land limitations. The living room in this type of house is often used as a multifunctional room used for various activities. Activities carried out such as studying, ironing, dining room, family room, to storing occupants' belongings, so that this room is known as a multifunctional family room. This condition raises challenges in terms of space efficiency and comfort, because the furniture available on the market is not yet able to support several activities carried out simultaneously. The purpose of this design is to create a multifunctional furniture product that can not only be adjusted to the needs of occupant activities, but is also easy to fold (foldable) and provides additional storage space. This design has benefits as a reference for adaptive design solutions that support optimal space utilization in small-sized homes. The design process is carried out through field studies, user needs analysis, concept development, and final design evaluation. The SCAMPER method is used as an idea exploration approach to produce various design alternatives. The final result of this study is a multifunctional folding furniture product that is ergonomic, compact, and pays attention to aspects of strength and material safety, so that it can be used flexibly in the long term. The novel value of this research lies in the combination of learning and ironing functions in one furniture unit that can be folded and moved easily, and supports space efficiency in a minimalist residential environment.

Abstract

: Background: Pain in fracture patients is one of the symptoms of a partial or total bone tissue discontinuity damage that causes discomfort. One of the nonpharmacological therapies used according to evidence-based nursing is guided imagery. People with health problems ranging from musculoskeletal problems to terminal illnesses have used guided imagery to relieve symptoms, find meaning, stimulate healing, and make changes, stimulate healing, and make important lifestyle changes that support and encourage healing. However, the use of this implementation is still minimal in nursing. Therefore, this research study was conducted to assess the effect of guided imagery in reducing pain intensity, especially in fracture patients. Method: The method of writing this article uses case studies in patients with costa fractures. Results and Discussion: After 3 days of guided imagery with Levine's theoretical approach, pain decreased from a scale of 6/10 to 3/10. Conclusions: Guided imagery is effective in reducing pain with Levine's theory approach in costa fracture patients.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the enhancement of students’ learning motivation and cognitive achievement through the implementation of a module-based instructional model integrated with the local wisdom of West Papua. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design, data were collected using cognitive tests and a Likert-scale motivation questionnaire. Quantitative analysis was conducted using Minitab software to assess statistical significance, while students’ motivational responses were analyzed descriptively. The results revealed a substantial improvement in students’ cognitive performance, with the average score increasing from 40.80 (pretest) to 86.40 (posttest). A paired-sample t-test indicated a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (t = -8.718, p < 0.05). Meanwhile, the motivation questionnaire results showed a significant enhancement in students’ learning motivation, with the mean Likert score rising from 3.2 (pretest) to 4.0 (posttest), corresponding to 100% positive responses categorized as highly valid. These findings demonstrate that integrating culturally responsive learning modules can effectively enhance both students’ cognitive understanding and their motivation toward learning mathematics. The local wisdom–based module has proven to be a feasible and engaging instructional tool for contextualized mathematics learning.
