Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of inorganic fertilizer proportion and organic fertilizer as well as its interaction to N uptake, N uptake efficiency, and physiological characters of rice plant. This research was conducted in the Experimental Farm of Agriculture Faculty of Jenderal Soedirman University Purwokerto, with soil type used was Inceptisol and located 110 m above sea level. This research was arranged using split plot design with four replicates. The main plots were the type of organic fertilizers i.e cow manure 5 t/ha, and straw compost 5 t/ha. The subplots were the proportion of inorganic fertilizers i.e P1: general dose recommendation (250 kg Urea, 150 kg SP-36 and 150 kg KCL), P2: 75% of general dose recommendation (187.5 kg Urea, 112.5 kg SP-36 and 112.5 kg KCL), P3: 50% of general dose recommendation (125 kg Urea, 75 kg SP-36 and 75 kg KCL), P4: P and K according to soil nutrient status + N according to Leaf Color Chart scale (LCC), P5: 150 kg SP-36, 150 kg KCl, and N according to LCC scale, and control (without fertilizer). The observed variables were leaf area index, leaf greenness, leaf chlorophyll content, N uptake, and N uptake efficiency. Data was analyzed using F test and if the differences were significant, the analysis was proceed with DMRT test at 5% error levels and orthogonal contrast test. The results showed that the dose of inorganic fertilizer increased the leaf area index, chlorophyll content, N uptake and N uptake efficiency. The reduction of inorganic fertilizer dose up to 50% of general dose increased the content of chlorophyll a. N uptake efficiency was higher in the N fertilizer added based on LCC and P and K based on soil nutrient status treatment than the recommendation dose when straw compost was applied.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to study the effect of drought stress and weeds density to the physiology of soybean plant. The research was a pot experiment arranged in a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD). Treatment factors were drought stress and initial population density of weeds. The drought stress treatments consisted of three levels, i.e.: field capacity, 60% field capacity and 40% field capacity water content. The density of weeds comprised 5 densities, i.e.: 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20 tubers per pot. Variables observed were leaf area, number of leaves, transpiration rate, photosynthesis rate, stomata width, number of chlorophylls, dry weight of above ground plant. Data were analyzed by F test, followed by Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at error level of 5 %. The results showed that water stress at 60% of field capacity decreased the stomata width to 33.14%, 10.45% transpiration rate, and 7.73% chlorophylls contents. The initial population density of weeds decreased the stomata width up to 17.14%. The interaction effect of drought stress and weeds density reduced the leaf area to 35.70% and 20.41 % of photosynthesis rates.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis descriptive study illustrated the proportion of EGFR mutation in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) at “Dharmais” National Cancer Hospital. Examination of EGFR mutation started in 2015, 196 data was collected and 68 data being analyses. Fixed Formalin Paraffin Embedded (FFPE) processed by cobas® 4800 real time polymerase chain reaction. The results shown 34% patients NSCLC with EGFR mutation and all of them was single mutation. EGFR mutation happens in Exon 21 L858R 10 cases (44 %), Exon 19del 12 cases (52 %) and the type of Exon 20 S768I 1 case (4 %). This study found a high proportion of EGFR mutation.ABSTRAKStudi deskriptif ini menggambarkan proporsi mutasi Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) pada pasien dengan kanker paru di Rumah Sakit Kanker “Dharmais”. Telah terkumpul 196 data, tetapi terdapat 68 data yang telah selesai dilakukan pemeriksaan mutasi EGFR. Mutasi EGFR diperiksa menggunakan Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) dengan teknologi cobas® 4800 real-time polymerase chain reaction. Ditemukan 34% pasien dengan mutasi EGFR. Abstract

Pemanfaatan rizobakteria yang berperan sebagai Plant Growth PromotingRhizobacteria (PGPR) menjadi cara untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman. PGPRmerupakan bakteri pada akar yang memberikan efek keuntungan untuk pertumbuhan danperkembangan tanaman. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian PGPRdan mendapat isolat PGPR paling efektif terhadapbpertumbuhanbdanbhasilbtanamanselada. Penelitianbdilaksanakanbdaribulan Februari sampai April 2019 di screenhouse DesaWindujaya dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura UNSOED. Rancangan yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 10 perlakuan dan diulang tiga kali, yaitu kontrol tanpa inokulasi isolate PGPR (P0), isolat J04 (P1), isolat P02 (P2), isolat P07 (P3), isolat P10 (P4), isolat R01 (P5), isolat R08(P6), isolat R11 (P7), isolat R12 (P8) isolat U03 (P9). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwapemberian PGPR menghasilkan tinggibtanaman selada padabumur 14 hstbsebesar 10,50cm, kehijauan daun padabumurb35 hst sebesar 19,33 SPAD unit, panjang akar totalpadabumurb35 hstbsebesar 36,92bcm dan menghasilkan bobot segar tajuk sebesar 51,55gram, bobot kering tajuk sebesar 9,97 gram, dan biomassa kering tanaman sebesar 10,49gram pada umur 35 hst. Isolat PGPR J04 (P1) efektif meningkatkan tinggi tanaman seladadan isolat P07 (P3) efektif mampu meningkatkan kehijauan daun,bpanjangbakar total,bobotbsegarbtajuk, bobot kering tajuk, dan biomassa keringbtanaman.

Abstract

Kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) merupakan jenis komoditi hortikultura yang menghasilkan umbi dari keluarga Solanaceae. Kebutuhan kentang terus meningkat setiap tahun sejalan dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan berkembangnya industri yang membutuhkan bahan baku kentang. Kentang banyak dibudidayakan di dataran tinggi di atas 800 m dpl, seperti Dieng, Kerinci, Pengalengan, dan Curup yang memiliki suhu 17ºC sampai dengan 20ºC sehingga tanaman kentang dapat berproduksi maksimal. Namun, di dataran tinggi mulai muncul ancaman lingkungan seperti kekeringan dan tanah longsor, sehingga mendorong para peneliti untuk mengembangkan tanaman kentang di dataran medium. Pengembangan varietas tanaman kentang untuk dataran medium terus dilakukan, salah satunya dengan induksi mutasi. Induksi mutasi dapat dilakukan dengan perlakuan bahan mutagen tertentu terhadap bagian tanaman seperti organ reproduksi. Iradiasi sinar gamma merupakan mutasi yang sering digunakan untuk menginduksi perubahan genetik di dalam sel somatik yang diturunkan, sehingga terjadi peningkatan viabilitas dan menghasilkan mutan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh radiasi sinar gamma terhadap berbagai variabel kualitatif 3 (tiga) varietas tanaman kentang. Perlakuan radiasi sinar gamma memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda dengan tanaman kontrol pada variabel bentuk daun, frekuensi daun menyimpang, kebiasaan tumbuh, bentuk umbi, dan sifat ketahanan terhadap penyakit. Mutan yang memberikan keunggulan dalam segi ketahanan terhadap penyakit adalah mutan D1-A11, D2- A11, D2-A4, D1-G1, D1-G2, D3-G11, D3-G12, dan D2-M11.Kata kunci : kualitatif, kentang, iradiasi gamma, dataran medium

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta Forest Management Study Program has the obligation to assist the Forest Farmers Group (KTH) located in Karanganyar Regency. In the Semang hamlet, Gempolan Village, Kerjo Karanganyar sub-district, is blessed with the potential for natural resources and natural panoramas that should be developed based on ecotourism. with the support of the Tani Maju Forest Farmers Group (KTH) so far it has utilized the potential of existing natural resources for the development of the Gunung Tirah ecotourism-based tourism industry. The community's efforts in developing Gunung Tirah tourism so far, namely the community has provided various facilities that can attract visitors. To add to the attraction of visitors, it is necessary to equip a clanceng beekeeping object by utilizing rubber plant flowers that are around Mount Tirah's tourist attraction. The purpose of the activity is Assistance in Klanceng Bee Cultivation, to support Ecotourism of Mount Tirah in Gempolan Village, Kerjo Karanganyar. The implementation of the activity uses the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, with an emphasis on community participation in clanceng bee cultivation, starting from planning, funding, scheduling, taking action, as well as monitoring and evaluating. This activity is expected to attract visitors to Mount Tirah tourism objects, and form Mitra Village as one of the higher education science-techno-park models. Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan fenomena yang terjadi dalam pemberian tunjangan kinerja dalam perpektif kesejahteraan Pegawai Negeri Sipil ditengah merebaknya isu sental mengenai reformasi birokrasi. Fokus utamanya bagaimana instansi melakukan tunjangan kinerja dengan dasar evaluasi jabatan yang meghasilkan job grading untuk setiap level jabatan, sehingga dapat diketahui job class dan job price Untuk tunjangan berbasis kinerja, analis jabatan setiap Pegawai Negeri Sipil menjadi prasayat utama yang harus dilakukan.. Dengan dasar tersebut dapat disusun perencanan kinerjanya dalam bentuk sasaran kerja pegawai dengan menetapkan target tertentu yang mudah diukur. Abstract

This community service activity has been carried out at the Miftahul Jannah Putri Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in Pamanjengan, Moncongloe, Maros Regency. This Islamic Boarding School for Qur’an Memorizer fosters 10 children from families with underprivileged economic conditions. The capacity of the pondok buildings can accommodate more number of students, but water supply is a big problem. Therefore, the management of the school has attempted to add groundwater production wells through financing from other parties. Drilling was carried out to a depth of 60 meters. The well pumping test with a discharge of 1,440 liters/hour showed a change in the groundwater level to become static at a decrease of 1.60 meters. Thus, the condition prior to this community service activity was that there were production wells but had not been equipped with submersible pump wells. Information from the pre-test indicated that the students still felt limited clean water. Therefore, through Hasanuddin University's P2C-IKU activities, pump installations are carried out to be able to utilize groundwater from the drilled wells. The results of the post-test at the end of this activity showed that 83.30% of respondents believed that there would be sufficient water supply to meet the needs of the cottage, and 57.14% of respondents understood how to operate and maintain submersible pumps.

Abstract

The numbering system in the medical record service is the procedure for writing given to the patients when they come for treatment as a part of their identity. This study aimed to describe the implementation of the outpatient medical record numbering system at the Tambarangan Public Health Center in Tapin Regency. This research used a descriptive method. The study results included the family numbering system consisting of five digits medical record number, i.e., the first two digits were based on the village area code while the last three digits were the medical record number. The advantages of the family numbering system were that it was faster in finding medical record files of the family members and the convenience to save medical record storage space and budget. Meanwhile, the shortcomings of the family numbering system were that it took a long time if the patient did not come for treatment for a long time and slowed down and hindered service if the patient did not carry an identity card for treatment and forgot his medical record number. The constraints in implementing the numbering system based on the man element were no medical record officer with the qualification of Diploma Medical Record and Health Information, and the officer never attended training/technical guidance/socialization regarding the medical record numbering system. The constraints based on the machine were the availability of only one computer that was only used for checking social health insurance. The constraints regarding the methods were no standard operating procedures found regarding the medical record numbering system, and the public health center management information system was no longer used because its implementation was constrained by non-existent technical personnel. The constraints regarding the materials were the patient's main index card that was not used, and the time to provide outpatient medical records was less than 10 minutes.

Abstract

The relationship of biological properties of peat with oil palm basal stem rot (BSR) caused by Ganoderma.  Indonesia as the largest palm oil producer in the world, has the large percentage of oil palm on peatland. The serious problems of cultivating oil palm on peatland is the presence of BSR disease caused by Ganoderma. There are no effective methods to control the spread of this disease. Biological control is an environmentally friendly alternative method focus, but on peatland, the development of this method is constrained by lack of information about the effect of biological environmental factors. This study aims to determine the effect of the biological propertiess  of peat on the intensity of Ganoderma attacks on oil palm. The relationship between the intensity of Ganoderma attacks and biological properties of peat was carried out by correlation test. The correlation analysis showed that the biological properties  of peat has not correlated with the Ganoderma attacks, except Summed Dominant Ratio of vegetation which tends to positively correlate to the number of Ganoderma antagonists. These results indicate that peatland vegetation management by maintaining the diversity of vegetation around oil palm can help reduce Ganoderma attacks.
