Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce an output in term of monopoly media and to know how far is the effectiveness of monopoly media to increase students interest in learning Geography. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) which is using ASSURE development design The results of research and development experts validation show after the revised is done on display media aspect in terms of the attractiveness of the image and color clarity of the product it is stated eligible to be used as a medium of learning geography. The test results interest in learning geography experimental class using the media monopoly is higher than the control class that uses a conventional method. Coefficient value t arithmetic amounted to 20.878 and t table of 1.675. So learning by using media monopoly Geography is effective to improve student interest in learning Geography.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media monopoli dan mengetahui sejauh mana efektivitas media monopoli untuk meningkatkan minat siswa belajar Geografi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RD) yang menggunakan desain pengembangan ASSURE Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa: 1) validasi ahli menyatakan produk menarik dan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Geografi, 2) hasil uji kelompok kecil, besar dan lapangan menunjukkan hasil tes minat belajar Geografi kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media monopoli lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Nilai koefisien t hitung sebesar 20,878 dan t tabel sebesar 1,675. Sehingga pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media monopoli efektif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar Geografi siswa.Kata kunci: media monopoli, minat belajar geografi, pengembangan

Abstract

This research while such problems of changes in the procedures for marriage pasemah in the years prior 1980 and after 1980. The purpose of this research is the change its procedures for marriage pasemah in the years prior 1980 and after 1980. The methodology used descriptive qualitative. The result showed that any different resulting in cultural shifts about customs marriage the pasemah or besemah the cultural differences and customs marriage years before 1980 and in 1980 in the years prior process 1980 many traversed agreement before undertake marriage but in 1980 after the moderenisasi the resulting in the process should be present in the procedure marriage but not done.Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi masalah adanya perubahan tata cara pernikahan suku Pasemah pada tahun sebelum 1980 dan setelah 1980. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penyebab perubahan tata cara pernikahan suku Pasemah pada tahun sebelum 1980 dan setelah 1980. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan yang mengakibatkan pergeseran budaya tentang adat istiadat perkawinan suku pasemah atau besemah yaitu perbedaan budaya dan adat istiadat perkawinan tahun sebelum 1980 dan tahun 1980 pada tahun sebelum 1980 banyak proses yang dilalui sebelum melangsungkan akad perkawinan akan tetapi pada tahun 1980 setelah adanya dan masuknya moderenisasi mengakibatkan adanya proses yang seharusnya ada dalam tata cara perkawinan akan tetapi tidak dilakukan.Kata kunci: Adat istiadat, budaya, pernikahan, suku pasemah

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know: the difference of students social skills average in Think Pair Square learning model, numbered head together learning model, and conventional learning model. This research  uses quasi experiment method by descriptive and quantitative approached. The design of quasi eksperiment uses post test only non equivalent control group design. The results of this research show that: (1) there are the difference of students social skills average in Think Pair Square learning model, numbered head together learning model, and conventional learning model, (2) The students social skills average in Think Pair Square learning model is better than  numbered head together learning model, (3) The  students social skills average in Think Pair Square learning model is better than conventional learning model, (4) The students social skills average in numbered head together learning model is better than conventional learning model.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: perbedaan rata-rata keterampilan sosial pada model pembelajaran Think Pair Square, model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together, dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Metode penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimen secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Post Test Only, Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa  pada model pembelajaran Think Pair Square, model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together, dan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) Rata-rata Keterampilan Sosial Siswa pada Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Square lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together, (3) Rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa pada model pembelajaran Think Pair Square lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional, (4) Rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa pada model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: keterampilan  sosial, numbered head together, pembelajaran konvensional, think pair square

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine: differences in learning outcomes between teaching history using TAI and TGT models. The method used is the quasi-experimental design. The results showed: (1) there are differences in learning outcomes interoperability and between models early history, (2) there are differences in learning outcomes between teaching history using TAI and TGT models, (3) there are differences in learning outcomes between the ability of the early history of the high and low; (4) no interaction between models learning with prior knowledge of the student learning outcomes, (5) no difference in the average outcomes study history using the TGT model of TAI and capable students who start high, (6) there was no difference in average learning outcomes history by using a model of TAI and TGT on initial low-capable students.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui: perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antara pembelajaran yang menggunakan model TAI dan TGT. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan desain eksperimental semu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antarmodel dan antarkemampuan awal; (2) ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antara pembelajaran yang menggunakan model TAI dan TGT; (3) ada perbedaan hasil belajar sejarah antara kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah; (4) ada interaksi antarmodel pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal terhadap hasil belajar siswa; (5) ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar sejarah dengan menggunakan model TAI dan TGT pada siswa yang berkemampuan awal tinggi; (6) tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar sejarah dengan menggunakan model TAI dan TGT pada siswa yang berkemampuan awal rendah.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, kemampuan awal, hasil belajar

Abstract

The objective of this research was to improve students social skills and teachers performances as research subjects by using integrated model in grade VII students of Public Junior High School 1 in Bengkunat of Pesisir Barat district in academic year of 2013/2014. This was a descriptive qualitative research in the form of action class research. This research was conducted in three cycles. The research results showed the improvements of percentages of social skill assessment criteria outcomes to be 32% of very poor and poor with 68% good criteria percentage in cycle I; 0% very poor criteria, 7% poor criteria, 56% good criteria and 36% very good criteria in cycle II; and improvement of students social skills assessment criteria in cycle III to be 4% poor criteria, 21% good criteria and 75% very good criteria. The integrated model approach through group activity learning was able to improve students social skills especially in the aspects of communication and building team/group social skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa dan kinerja guru sebagai subyek penelitian dengan menggunakan model Integrated pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bengkunat Kabupaten Pesisir Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang berbentuk Penelitian Tindak Kelas. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan persentase perolehan kriteria penilaian keterampilan sosial pada siklus I yaitu sangat kurang dan kurang 32% dan persentase kriteria baik 68%, pada siklus II yaitu kriteria sangat kurang 0%, kriteria kurang 7%, kriteria baik 56% dan kriteria sangat baik 36%. Pada siklus III, peningkatan persentase perolehan kriteria penilaian keterampilan sosial siswa yaitu kriteria kurang 4%, kriteria baik 21% dan 75% siswa memperoleh kriteria penilaian sangat baik. Pendekatan model Integrated melalui aktivitas pembelajaran kelompok dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa pada aspek komunikasi dan membangun tim/kelompok.Kata kunci : keterampilan sosial, model integrated

Abstract

The purposes of this research were describing and analyzing, the application of learning by the use of make a match model to improve the social skills of students and students achievement. The type of this research is classroom research. Components of students social skills in the research include, ability to control himself in the act, talk and behave, abide by the rules applied according to the place where it belongs, understanding the different opinion, able to communicate well, effectively and politely, able to apply togetherness values in a group, understanding the rights of his own as well as from other. The results of the learning implementation make a match models in the Sociology subject can improve social skill and students achievement. It can be seen from the average percentage of social skill and learning achievement studentsin every cycle.Tujuan penelitian ini antara lain:mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model make a match untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Komponen keterampilan siswa dalam penelitian ini meliputi, mampu mengendalikan diri dalam bersikap, berucap dan berprilaku, mematuhi aturan-aturan yang berlaku sesuai dengan tempat dimana berada, memahami perbedaan pendapat, mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik, efektif dan santun, mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai kebersamaan dalam kelompok, memahami hak dan kewajiban diri dan orang lain. Hasil dari penerapan model pembelajaran make a match pada pelajaran Sosiologi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata persentase keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus ke siklus. Abstract

The research aimed to increase students’ motivation and learning activity by using CTL approach that oriented to Life Skill in Geography learning. This research was Classroom Action Research. The data analysis technique was descriptive analysis. The result showed that there was an increase on students’ motivation and learning activities in each cycles. In cycle I the percentage of students’ motivation and learning had not yet reached the expected criteria. In cycle II the percentage of students’ motivation and learning had increased compared to the preceding cycle but had not yet reached the expected criteria. In cycle III the percentage of students’ motivation and learning had increased compared to the preceding cycle and that increase had reached the expected criteria. Based on the research discussion, that the learning by using CTL approach that oriented to Life Skill could Increase Students’ Motivation and Learning Activity in Geography.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan CTL yang berorientasi pada Life Skill dalam pembelajaran Geografi. Penelitian ini merupakan PTK. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I persentase motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa belum mencapai kriteria yang ditentukan. Pada siklus II persentase motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan siklus I tetapi belum mencapai kriteria yang ditentukan. Pada siklus III persentase motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan siklus II dan peningkatannya sudah mencapai kriteria yang ditentukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, bahwa penerapan pendekatan CTL berorientasi pada Life Skill dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, ctl, motivasi belajar

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activity and the learning achievement of students in the geography subjects by using geospatial media. This action research conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Metro in the second semester of academic year 2011-2012, Grade 12 IPS 1 with of 17 learners. The data was collected through observation by collaborators, with observation instruments. The instrument that used are observation and assessment for observing the activity of the learner. Meanwhile the instruments aim to observing the teacher’s ability in making plan and implementing in the teaching and learning processs. Activities and achievements of learners from cycle 1 to cycle 3 showed good progress. Learners activities were indicated from observations on the learning process, that leads to positive change in cycle 3, where there is no more passive learners. All learners did activities that support the learning process, and could utilize geospatial media by using netbooks and mobile phones. For the achievement of learners showed by good improvement. The researchers stop the action research, and can be concluded that the use of geospatial media can enhance the activity and the learning achievement of students geographic subjects in SMA Negeri 1 Metro.Keywords: geospatial media, activities, achievements

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce an effective learning media board opportunities effective can interest student learning. The research development consists of five stage. The first stage is needs analysis consisting of preliminary observations and curriculum analysis. The second phase development model consisting of the development of blue print, flowchart, story board, lesson plans, and teaching of materials supporting. The third stage which consists of media design test expert validation of the people who expert in civic and the expert in learning. The fourth stage is products revision. The fifth is limited and the preparation of reports. Products the end of the study it will be instructional system or steps learning applied to implementation plan learning with the result that; (1) products board opportunities wonder that successfully developed can be used in learning civic education in the class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Natar Lampung Selatan, and (2) the media learning board opportunities effective in interest student learningTujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran efektif yang dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri dari lima tahap. Tahap pertama adalah analisis kebutuhan yang terdiri dari observasi awal dan analisis kurikulum. Tahap kedua pengembangan model yang terdiri dari pengembangan blue print, flowchart, story board, RPP, dan bahan ajar pendukung. Tahap ketiga uji ahli yang terdiri dari ahli materi PKn dan ahli desain media pembelajaran. Tahap keempat revisi produk. Tahap kelima uji terbatas dan penyusunan laporan. Produk akhir penelitian ini berupa sistem instruksional atau langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang diaplikasikan dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran dengan hasil bahwa; (1) produk media pembelajaran papan berpeluang yang berhasil dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran PKn dan (2) media pembelajaran papan Berpeluang efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.Kata kunci: media pembelajaran papan berpeluang, minat belajar, pembelajaran PKn, pengembangan

Abstract

This research aimed to develop social study learning through Pie Chart and to know the effectiveness of learning through Pie Chart in social study learning. The research method used was Research and Development (RD). The desain of learning development through Pie Chart used the step of Dick and Carey. The research result of this learning development concluded that this research was the development of social study learning through Pie Chart to increase the study result of the student. The study result of posttest in experiment class that used Pie Chart in social studies learning was higher than the control class that used conventional learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan pembelajaran IPS terpadu melalui media Pie Chart dan mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran melalui media Pie Chart dalam pembelajaran IPS terpadu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Develoment (RD). Desain pengembangan pembelajaran melalui media Pie Chart menggunakan langkah-langkah Dick and Carey. Hasil penelitian pengembangan pembelajaran ini menyimpulkan bahwa Penelitian ini adalah pengembangan pembelajaran IPS terpadu melalui media Pie Chart untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar dari kegiatan posttest kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media Pie Chart dalam pembelajaran IPS terpadu lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: media pie chart, pembelajaran ips terpadu, pengembangan
