Abstract

This study aims to determine how learning social studies conducted in schools whose students bear the social problems. This type of research is qualitative ethnographic approach. Based on the results obtained learning Social Studies run at schools with social problems in their students, it was not optimal. Lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure becomes a major factor. Social learning takes place only dependent on artificial student worksheet publisher. The specificity of the implemented learning social studies in schools whose students have social problems, is in the process of learning. The dominance of teachers is very high, and many students do not show creations. Description of the students and teachers in teaching social studies conducted in schools that have students bear the social problems. It turned out not to touch the Social Studies material aspects of the formation of national values. Learning instruments such as flag ceremonies, extracurricular activities, were never implemented. This happens because the institution does not provide space and time for the learning process is underway.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran IPS dilaksanakan pada sekolah yang siswanya menyandang permasalahan sosial. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian diperoleh pembelajaran IPS dijalankan pada sekolah yang memiliki persoalan sosial pada siswanya, ternyata tidak maksimal. Kendala keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana menjadi faktor utama. Pembelajaran IPS berlangsung hanya tergantung kepada LKS buatan penerbit. Gambaran siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran IPS yang dilaksanakan pada sekolah yang memiliki siswa menyandang masalah sosial. Ternyata materi IPS tidak menyentuh aspek pembentukan nilai-nilai kebangsaan. Instrumen pembelajaran seperti upacara bendera tidak pernah dilaksanakan. Hal ini terjadi karena lembaga pendidikan tidak menyediakan ruang dan waktu agar proses pembelajaran ini berlangsung.Kata kunci: anak penyandang, pembelajaran ips, masalah sosial

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop cooperative learning model Beach Ball Group Investigations to increase social skill and analyze the effectiveness of cooperative learning model Beach Ball Group Investigations. This research used Research and Development (R D). Colecting data were using questionnaires, interview, social skill observation and multiple choice questions test. Data were analyzed by using t- test and gain score to test the effectiveness of the product. The results of this research and development was cooperative learning model Beach Ball Group Investigations which can increase social skill, and the result data analysis showed that it was obtained coefficient value was greater than t table and the gain-score showed in good category, so that learning by using cooperative learning model Beach Ball Group Investigations was effectively to improve social skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa model pembelajaran kooperatif Beach Ball Group Investigations untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan mengetahui sejauh mana efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif Beach Ball Group Investigations pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RD). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, lembar penilaian pengamatan keterampilan sosial dan tes pilihan jamak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan t test dan n-gain untuk menguji efektivitas produk. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan model pembelajaran kooperatif Beach Ball Group Investigations yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa, dan hasil analisis ujicoba diperoleh nilai koofisien t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, dan selisih nilai pretest-postes (n-gain) berada pada kategori baik sehingga pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Beach Ball Group Investigations efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial.Kata kunci: beach ball group investigations, keterampilan sosial, model pembelajaran kooperatif, pengembangan

Abstract

The present research was conducted due to the necessity of various learning model that could increase the motivation and achievement of students. This research aimed to create the effective learning model that is able to increase the students’ achievement seen from the attainment of KKM. The research of this learning model consisted of five stages. The result of this present study was in the form of instructional system or learning stages applied in lesson plan and it has been evaluated by materials expert, the specialist of learning model design, and limited test with the following results; (1) the product of webquest model was successfully developed and it was able to be implemented in learning Social Studies toward students on grade X, (2) the use of Webquest model the interest could increase students’ achievement or in other words could able to enhance the amount of students who passed the KKM.Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi masalah rendahnya motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model pembelajaran efektif yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa.  Penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri dari lima tahap. Produk akhir penelitian ini berupa sistem instruksional atau langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang diaplikasikan dalam RPP, dan telah dievaluasi oleh ahli materi, ahli desain model pembelajaran, serta uji terbatas dengan hasil bahwa; (1) produk model Webquest yang berhasil dikembangkan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS siswa, dan (2) model Webquest efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dilihat dari dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa atau meningkatkan jumlah siswa yang tuntas KKM.Kata kunci :  model webquest, pembelajaran ips, pengembangan

Abstract

This reserach aimed to determine the dynamics of Public Relation at Village Buyut Udik . The research study used a qualitative approach with case study method. Results from this study indicated that the dynamics of social relationships in Kampung Buyut Udik is a form of social interaction. The interaction was in the form of cooperation that is associative and disassociative. This conflict disputes can be resolved by means of consultations involving traditional leaders or community leaders and authorities. But, that some people who disagree are not able to hold himself so they solve the problem in a hurry. Disassociative settlement process that occurs in the community of Kampung Buyut Udik can be resolved by forum and this has been done through the role of traditional leaders or community leaders.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah dinamika hubungan masyarakat Kampung Buyut Udik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode case study. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Dinamika hubungan kemasyarakatan di Kampung Buyut Udik merupakan bentuk dari interaksi sosial. Interaksi tersebut berbentuk kerjasama yang bersifat asosiatif dan bersifat disasosiatif. Perselisihan yang terjadi dapat diselesaikan dengan cara musyawarah dengan melibatkan tokoh adat atau tokoh masyarakat serta pihak yang berwajib. Namun didapati sebagian warga yang berselisih tidak mampu menahan dirinya sehingga menyelesaikan masalah dengan terburu-buru. Penyelesaian proses disasosiatif yang terjadi pada masyarakat Kampung Buyut Udik dapat diselesaikan secara musyawarah dan ini telah dilakukan melalui peran tokoh adat atau tokoh masyarakat.Kata kunci: dinamika, hubungan sosial, interaksi sosial

Abstract

This study was done because of the writers concern about the quality of learning done by the teachers in the classroom was less intensive. This study used kuasi experiment design by using nonequivalent group pre-test post-test design. From the results of the statistical data it showed that there were significant differences between critical thinking skills and creative thinking of children who used the Problem Based Learning in class experiments with the Inquiry Learning on class control. Critical and creative thinking skills of children who used the Problem Based Learning has increased very significantly compared to used Inquiry Learning. This would greatly help the students in their activities and seeking knowledge or understanding to satisfy curiosity so that students would become critical and creative thinking who were able to solve various problems.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena kekhawatiran peneliti mengenai kualitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru di kelas yang kurang intensif dalam hal memberikan pelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desain kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan model rancangan nonequivalent group pre-test post-test design. Dari hasil data statistik menunjukkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan dimana dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah anak mampu mengembangkan berpikir kritisnya, anak menjadi seorang analis dan kritis dalam hal bertanya dan masalah kelompok untuk dipecahkan sendiri atau secara bersama-sama, menemukan hal-hal yang beragam serta siswa mampu melahirkan hal yang baru dan lebih menarik, selain itu Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah efesien untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir kritis dan kreatif siswa. Abstract

This research which purposed to find the model and to know effectivinnes of the through the implementation of inquiry in improving activities and their learning  result based Intruction with specific topic base price process method subject of the research. The method which used is Classroom Action Research. The result of this research shows that first is learning activity from the first cycle to the second cycle has the improvement up was from 61,02% in the first cycle up to 66,67% in the second cycle. Where as from the second cycle to the third cycle has improvement up was from 66,67% in the second cycle up to 83,33% in the third cycle. The second is the result of students’ learning has the improvement between the first cycle to the second cycle was from 58,33% in the first cycle up to 77,78% in the second cycle. In the second cycle to the third cycle has the improvement up was from 77,78% in the first cycle up to 94,44% in the third cycle.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan model dan mengetahui efektifitas strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar  mata kuliah akuntansi biaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah PTK. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua mengalami peningkatan dari 61,02% pada siklus pertama menjadi 66,67% pada siklus kedua. Siklus kedua ke siklus ketiga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 66,67% pada siklus kedua menjadi 83,33% pada siklus yang ketiga. Hasil belajar mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan antara siklus satu ke siklus dua yaitu sebesar 58,33% pada siklus yang pertama menjadi 77,78% pada siklus yang ke dua, siklus dua ke siklus tiga dari 77,78% siklus yang ke dua menjadi 94,44% pada siklus yang ke tiga.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, strategi pembelajaran inkuiri

Abstract

The aims of this research were to improve the social skill and students achievement by using role play method. The method which was used in this research was classroom action research. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Gedung Gumanti, Pesawaran and subject of research was students of grade V in the first semester in academic year 2014/2015. This research was conducted in 3 cycles. Data collecting technique used observation sheet, interview, and test data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive. The result showed that social skill of the students improved before cycle was 37,5%, after treatments in cycle III improved 86%, and average of student score had improvement from 43,5 before cycling, and 82,5 after treatment in cycle III. In short, role play method can be used as an interesting learning method for students so that it could be achieved the goal in learning like social skill and students achievement.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa dengan metode bermain peran (role playing). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian tindakan dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Gedung Gumanti Kabupaten Pesawaran dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas V semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, dan tes. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian keterampilan sosial siswa mengalami peningkatan dari sebelum tindakan siklus sebesar 37,5%, setelah tindakan siklus III meningkat menjadi 86% dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari sebelum tindakan siklus sebesar 43,5, setelah tindakan siklus III meningkat menjadi 82,5. Kesimpulannya metode bermain peran dapat dikemas menjadi pembelajaran yang sangat menarik oleh siswa sehingga dapat mengasilkan tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan salah satunya adalah keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: bermain peran, hasil belajar, keterampilan sosial

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to construct and implement life skill in entrepreneurship learning in Swadhipa 1 Senior Vocational School in Natar of South Lampung. This was a qualitative research with constructionist approach. The results were that (1) life skill construction in entrepreneurship learning was an integration process of life skill through entrepreneurship learning with a purpose to give learners life ability skills. The life skill constructionistic in entrepreneurship learning was that there were differences of concept understandings with the real applications or the differences between life skill integration process and learning result; (2) the life skill implementation in entrepreneurship learning included: (a) entrepreneurship lesson plans made by teachers did not yet include explicit life skill  into learning aids. However, implicitly all teachers had applied it properly into learning indicators, even though developed activities were still partial and not continuous; (b) learning conduct were still dominated by teachers using lecturing method. Trends in learning processes were stockpiling concepts, not to develop learners’ life skill; and (c) assessments conducted by teacher were merely in cognitive domains, and there were no evaluation instrument developments based on life skill.Keywords: life skill, entrepreneurship, constructionistic

Abstract

The goal of this research is to know using learning with Critical Literacy Perspective model that can form students’ character and can revitalize Pancasila value. This was a classroom action research, that was a study toward classroom learning action which was being upgraded continuously to reach the goal, by using Kemmis and Taggard cycles that contained the plan of observation and  reflection action. The instrument of data collecting used observation toward learning process. The result form of character in Cycle I with score 70, 714, second Cycle reach ed an increase 85,476 and increased became with score 90, 475 in Cycle III; and the revitalization of Pancasila value in cycle I with score 72, 143, in second cycle increased to be 85,714 and in Cycle III increased with score 91,190.Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning model which has critical literacy perspective can form students’ character and can  revitalize Pancasila value.Keywords: PTK,  critical literacy, character, revitalization of pancasila value.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the nationalism spirit of students through intra and extra-curricular activities. This study used a qualitative approach with case study method. Methods of data collection were using interviews, observation and documentation.The results of this study indicated that: Fostering the spirit of nationalism through intra-curricular and extracurricular in SMPN1 Pagelaran, Pringsewu is to integrate the principles contained in nationalism , namely (1) the principles of togetherness, (2) the principle of unity, (3) the principles of democracy. Intracurricular activity in fostering the spirit of nationalism of the students are by using learning methods of Civics by conducting discussions, observation and debriefing and through extracurricular activities which is dominant there were scouts, OSIS and sport to build character and personality to be a good citizens as well as to love the nation and the country through the development of attitudes and manners .Penelitian ini bertujuan, untuk mengetahui pembinaan semangat nasionalisme siswa melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode case study. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Pembinaan semangat nasionalisme melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler di SMPN 1 Pagelaran Kabupaten Pringsewuyaitu dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip yang terkandung dalam nasionalisme yaitu (1) prinsip kebersamaan, (2) prinsip persatuan dan kesatuan, (3) prinsip demokrasi. Kegiatan intrakulikuler dalam membina semangat nasionalisme siswa yaitu menggunakan metode pembelajaran PKn dengan melakukan kegiatan diskusi, observasi dan tanya jawab dan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang dominan yaitu pramuka, OSIS dan olahraga untuk membina watak dan kepribadian menjadi warganegara yang baik serta mencintai bangsa dan negaranya melalui pembinaan sikap dan tatakrama.Kata kunci: kualitatif, pembinaan, semangat nasionalisme
