Abstract

The following research aims to analyze the usage of STEAM approach in learning measurements. This research is qualitative type research. Physics class in senior high school tends to be strictly theoretical with no practical with minimal usage of things that could be found nearby as a learning object. The researcher aims to describe the potential of using the STEAM approach in learning measurements done by senior high school physics teachers in Jepara. The preferred method of data collection of this research are observation, interview and questionnaires about implementing the STEAM approach in learning measurements concept. The results show 97% of the teachers are aware of the STEAM approach. 62% of teachers have implemented the STEAM approach in learning measurements and 52% of the teachers that have implemented STEAM approach state that the approach is effective in tackling learning obstacles in student.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul ajar IPAS berbasis STEM materi ekosistem untuk mewujudkan keterampilan proses sains siswa fase C sekolah dasar, dalam hal untuk mengetahui karakteristik, kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Delopment (RnD) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Validasi modul ajar menggunakan Indeks Aiken dan analisis RASCH Model menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes. Analisis data validasi ahli menunjukan bahwa modul ajar IPAS yang dikembangkan memenuhi kreteria sangat valid dengan rentang 0,78 s.d. 0,82 dapat menunjukkan tingkat sedang sampai tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil angket validasi I sebesar 80% dan validasi II sebesar 95% dari validator materi, media dan bahasa, angket respon guru sebesar 96% dan angket respon siswa sebesar 86%. Setelah perangkat ajar divalidasi kemudian diujicobakan siswa fase C kelas VD SDN Mranggen 2 bahwa hasil nilai belajar diketahui nilai rata-ratanya yaitu 49,79 hasil nilai pretest dan 69,17 hasil posttet dengan nilai terendah pretest 20 dan tertinggi 80, untuk hasil posttest nilai terendah 35 dan tertinggi 90. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan modul ajar IPAS berbasis STEM materi ekosistem untuk mewujudkan keterampilan proses sains dapat dikatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan pada fase C sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pengembangan instrumen soal berbasis STEM masih jarang ditemukan dalam kurikulum merdeka ini, dengan ini menambah pilihan bagi guru untuk pelaksanaan menilai hasil melajar melalui assesment. Pentingnya assesment awal sebelum merancang pembelajaran dalam  kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengembangkan instrumen assesment awal untuk mengetahui kesiapan siswa fase B mengikuti pembelajaran IPAS materi kemagnetan dan gaya berbasis STEM. Penelitian  ini  merupakan  modifikasi dari model penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D )Brog and Gall. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Kalisari 3 Sayung demak, sebanyak 133 siswa terdiri dari 72 siswa laki laki dan 61 siswa perempuan menggunakan konvenien sampling. Soal yang diberikan berupa pilihan ganda sebanyak 14 butir soal materi kemagnetan dan gaya. Teknik analisis validasi dan reliabilitas butir soal menggunakan Indeks Aiken dan Rasch Model dengan menggunakan software winstep 3.73. Hasil penelitian menunjukan seluruh butir soal memiliki kategori validitas sedang s.d. tinggi untuk indeks Aiken (0.76 s.d. 0.8). Sedangkan berdasarkan analisis Rasch Model,  nilai Measure(-1.88s.d.2.20), nilai Model SE (0.20s.d.0.30) nilai Outfit MNSQ (0.67s.d.1.30), nilai Outfit ZSTD , nilai Pt mean core(0.20 s.d. 0.61), reliabilitas item dan person (0.94 dan 0.50) sedangkan Cronbach Alpha (0.62) . Kesimpulan butir soal dapat digunakan sebagai assement awal mata pelajaran IPAS.Kata Kunci: Instrumen Assement Awal, STEM, Kurikulum merdeka, Rasch model

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir ilmiah merupakan keterampilan berpikir untuk menenghasilkan suatu keputusan atau kesimpulan secara ilmiah berdasarkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang dimiliki. Keterampilan berpikir ilmiah dapat dilatih dengan menerapkan pendekatan STEM (Science, Tecnology, Engineering and Mathematics) yang menerapkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan secara bersaam dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul ajar IPAS berbasis pendekatan STEM yang dapat mewujudkan keterampilan dasar berpikir ilmiah pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa modul ajar IPAS berbasis pendekatan STEM pada materi struktur permukaan bumi memperoleh hasil validasi indeks aiken sebesar 0,94 pada komponen modul ajar, 0,96 pada validasi materi, 0,96 pada validasi bahasa, 0,94 pada validasi media Augmented Reality, dan 0,98 pada validasi media konkrit. Uji efektifitas modul ajar diperoleh nilai N-Gain 0,56 dan uji kepraktisan modul ajar memperoleh nilai 95,2. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa  modul ajar IPAS berbasis pendekatan STEM pada materi struktur permukaan bumi yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk mewujudkan keterampilan dasar berpikir ilmiah siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas perbedaan rata-rata dari nilai hasil belajar pretest dan posttest pada pembelajaran Matematika siswa kelas II SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning. Desain penelitian menggunakan eksperimen kuantitatif yaitu Pre-Experimental Design dengan model One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data yang diperoleh melalui metode tes tertulis adalah essay. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas II SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa kelas II dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji statistik t-test berpasangan menunjukkan terdapat nilai Stg.(2-tailed) yaitu 0,000 < 0.05 dengan perbedaan rata-rata skor pretest yaitu 62 sedangkan rata-rata skor posttest sebesar 88, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas II SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning efektif terhadap hasil belajar materi bangun ruang siswa kelas II SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang.

Abstract

The teaching of mathematics in primary schools frequently encounters challenges in raising pupils' academic performance, particularly in the cognitive area. Using Papada media, the PBL Learning Model is being used to address this issue. seeks to assess how well the PBL learning model—which is aided by Papada media—improves second-level mathematics learning results at Stage B SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang. A one-group pretest-posttest research design with experimental methodologies and a quantitative methodology were employed in the study. 28 students from SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang's class IV B made up the research sample, and a multiple-choice exam was employed to gather data. The outcomes of the paired sample t data analysis with a significance level of 0.001, which is less than 0.05, the test revealed a substantial increase in student learning outcomes following the implementation of the therapy, supporting the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1) and the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). These results suggest that the PBL Learning Model, which is backed by Papada Media, is useful for enhancing mathematics learning outcomes, particularly for the two-phase B level curriculum at SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang.

Abstract

Education is carried out so that learning objectives can be achieved. Educational goals will be achieved through the learning process. In the learning process teachers must have learning methods in each subject. One of the important subjects in elementary school is Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), which discusses how living things interact with each other and understand phenomena that occur in their environment, therefore science subjects are often considered difficult. So this results in students' interest in studying science at school being low. A learning method that can increase student interest is using outdoor learning or learning outside the classroom. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the application of out-of-class learning methods in increasing interest in learning science and science for VA class students at SDN Pedurungan Kidul 02, Semarang City with a sample of 29 students. The research method used is Classroom Action Research, consisting of 2 cycles and 4 main activities, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be seen that the application of learning outside the classroom can increase students' interest in learning science and science. The results of research on pre-action outdoor learning obtained a percentage of only 40%. Meanwhile, after outdoor learning was implemented, students' interest in learning science and science showed a percentage increase of 89%. It can be concluded that the application of learning outside the classroom can increase students' interest in learning science and technology.

Abstract

The observations indicate issues during the learning process, such as students' lack of attention and focus and individualistic tendencies. This study aims to conduct a more in-depth analysis of the 4Cs competencies of students. The research method used in this mini-research is the quantitative descriptive method. Data collection was conducted at SMP N 1 Gubug, and the research subjects were 27 students from class VIII B. The instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets for 4Cs competencies. Based on the research results, the average critical thinking competency achieved a result of 50.8%, which falls into the sufficient category. Across the four indicators, communication competency averaged 50.3%, indicating a sufficient category. Collaboration competency received an average score of 61.28, also in the sufficient category. Creative thinking competency across the four indicators averaged 42.7%, which is sufficient. Several factors, including a lack of interactive learning media, influence the need for 4Cs competencies. The averages of all four 4Cs competencies are in the sufficient category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of norm spin board props has improved the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education VC students of SDN Rejosari 01 Semarang. This study used a two-cycle classroom action approach: implementation, planning, observation, and evaluation. This study involved 28 VC class students of SDN Rejosari 01, consisting of 12 boys and 16 girls. The data collection methods are formative tests and non-formative tests, and the research tools are formative test sheets and observation sheets. The data were analyzed with two approaches: quantitative analysis determines the cognitive learning outcomes of individuals; and qualitative analysis evaluates student activities and teacher proficiency. The independent variable of this study is the learning of Pancasila Education with the help of norm spin board props, and the dependent variable is the improvement of learning outcomes of VC class students of SDN Rejosari 01 about the norm material in my life. The implementation of actions is carried out 2 cycles. Learning outcomes from cycle I, 17 students who have not finished with a completeness percentage score of 54.28% and cycle II where 25 students complete a completeness percentage score of 80.35%. Cycle I student activities, 9 students incomplete scores percentage 25% category less (K) and cycle II 25 students percentage value 80.35% good category (B). Teacher skills cycle I value 59 categories less (K) and cycle II value 86 categories good (B).

Abstract

Mathematics learning is considered challenging for many students, with some sh. owing little interest or motivation to engage with the subject. This is often due to difficulties encountered during the learning process. This study aims to analyze students' difficulties in learning Mathematics, specifically focusing on bar diagram topics. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis involves data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Findings from the study reveal that the majority of Grade IVA students at SDN Kalicari 01 Semarang experience difficulties in remembering technical terms such as X-axis, Y-axis, and frequency. They also struggle with explaining bar diagram concepts in their own words and recalling the steps involved in creating bar diagrams. Efforts to address these challenges include implementing a more structured learning approach, actively interacting with class and support teachers for guidance, and utilizing aids or interactive media to enhance student engagement and comfort in learning. Additionally, remedial activities are conducted to help students improve their grades and assist teachers in assessing student learning progress
