Abstract

Sensor arus listrik merupakan sensor yang dapat mendeteksi terjadinya kebocoran arus listrik pada water heater. Sensor akan mendeteksi terjadinya kebocoran arus listrik dalam aliran air dari water heater. Sensor dibuat dari elektroda tembaga yang ditanam dalam pipa PVC. Pengujian sensor dilakukan terhadap variasi tegangan pada hambatan tetap dan variasi hambatan pada tegangan tetap. Variasi tegangan AC dilakukan dari 0 sampai 220 volt sementara variasi hambatan mulai dari 1 KW sampai 100 KW. Kondisi hambatan 1 KW mewakili hambatan kulit tubuh manusia dalam keadaan basah dan 100 KW mewakili hambatan kulit tubuh dalam keadaan kering terisolasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sensasi syok tidak nyeri mulai dapat dirasakan pada tegangan 30 V arus sebesar 5,16 mA pada kondisi hambatan 1 KW. Sementara pada kondisi kebocoran tegangan 220 V, sensasi syok tidak nyeri mulai dirasakan pada kondisi hambatan tubuh 42 KW dengan arus sebesar 4,99 mA.

Abstract

Potensi energi matahari yang berupa kalor dapat digunakan untuk berbagai kebutuhan, antara lain untuk pengeringan, proses destilasi air laut, atau sebagai pamanas water heater. Optimalisasi media penyerap kalor perlu dilakukan guna meningkatkan kemampuannya. Salah satu variabel yang berpengaruh pada kemampuan penyerapan kalor adalah nilai kalor jenis (c). Keberadaan unsur logam di dalam pasir perlu diteliti untuk mengetahui kemampuannya dalam meningkatkan penyerapan kalor. Kehadiran pasir besi pada campuran bahan pembuat mortar sebagai media penyerap kalor perlu diteliti. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan membuat 10 kelompok sampel mortar. Kelompok sampel dibedakan oleh komposisi campuran pasir sungai dan pasir besi yang digunakan sebagai bahan utama. Variasi campuran dibuat dengan perbandingan massa antara pasir sungai dengan pasir besi sebagai berikut: 100:0; 90:10; 80:20; 70:30; 60:40: 50:50; 40:60; 30:70; 20:80 dan 10:90. Sampel mortar yang diuji dibuat dengan ukuran (2 x 1 x 1) cm3. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan kalorimeter bomb. Hasil pengujian diperoleh nilai kalor jenis terendah sebesar 1359,08 J/kgoC pada sampel dengan perbandingan campuran pasir sungai dan pasir besi 60:40. Sementara nilai kalor jenis tertinggi pada sampel tanpa pasir besi (100:0) dengan nilai 3555,76 J/kgoC. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, penambahan pasir besi dapat menurunkan kalor jenis pada media mortar.

Abstract

Bagian terdepan dari sistem konversi energi angin terletak pada baling-baling atau kincir angin. Pada dasarnya terdapat dua jenis baling-baling yaitu Horiontal Axis Wind Turbin (HAWT) dan Vertikal Axis Wind Turbin (VAWT). Setiap jenis mempunyai kelebihan dan kekurangannya. Jenis baling-baling yang cukup banyak digunakan adalah jenis VAWT Savonius. Salah satu kekurangan jenis Savonius adalah efisiensinya yang rendah. Rendahnya efisiensi dimungkinkan karena desain yang kurang sesuai dengan potensi angin yang ada. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisis aerodinamika aliran udara melalui baling-baling Savonius. Analisis akan menggunakan metode CFD (computational fluid dynamics) untuk memperoleh kinerja berupa kofisien daya yang dihasilkan baling-baling Savonius. Dalam penelitian ini. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa ada resultan tekanan pada satu sisi bilah sehingga menimbulkan momen yang memutar baling-baling. Garis alir menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan udara sebelum mengenai baling-baling lebih besar daripada setelah melewati baling-baling. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa angina masuk dengan kecepatan 1,2 m/s dan keluar dari baling-baling dengan kecepatan 0,6 m/s. Berdasarkan hal itu diperoleh koefisien daya baling-baling sebesar 25%.

Abstract

Character education is the fundamental thing for one’s future. In Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta, the education of local wisdom based is Kawruh Pamomong. It is to educate children based on the truthfulness, love/passion and beautifulness or gracefulness. This research aims at studying and mapping the family education based on local wisdom Kawruh Pamomong Ki Ageng Suryomentaram in the sub-village of Balong of Timbulharjo Village in the sub-district of Sewon, Bantul Regency of Yogyakarta. Balong is a sub-district in the Southern of Yogyakarta, well-known for its KawruhJiwa in Yogyakarta. This research is conducted to gain information about how parents teach the children to think and act properly, passionate and nice. Survey method was employed in this research. The data were gained from 30 children and adolescences, in form of questionnaire, the citizens of Balong sub-district. The result of the research indicates that father and mother share the common competence in teaching and applying the Kawruh Pamomong of truthfulness and “sih”, in Kawruh Pamomong of truthfulness, father has the higher competence than mother.

Abstract

Queue process is a process of the coming of a customer to a service facility, then waiting in line (queue) when the officers busy, and leaving the place after getting the service.  Patient’s line at RSUP DR. Kariadi is a lot enough then it will making the service from the hospital isn’t optimal as a result.  Hence, it needed a queue model to optimize the service to patient. From the result of the analysis in RSUP Dr. Kariadi it gives the best queue models is  in polyclinic area second floor, laboratory, and pharmacy.

Abstract

In daily activities, we often face in a situation of queuing. Most people have experiences in a queuing situation  or a waiting  situation . The queuing can be found easily in a human life. For example is the queuing  in the Kariadi Hospital. The Queuing occur from the registration to the service stage. Similarly, in ambulatory patients of Kariadi Hospital, so it is necessary to analyze the queuing effectivity, whether   the queueing   system is optimal or not. One of the statistical methods to analyze the things mentioned above are queuing theory. Abstract

The process of aerobic composting the slaughterhouse (SH) solid waste generate ammonia emissions. Aim: The objective of this research to study the ability of the adsorbent to use zeolite to reduce ammonia gas emissions during the composting process of SH solid waste. Methodology and Results: Reduction of ammonia emission is conducted during the aerobic composting process which is 50 days. The raw material composition of the composting process used was 100% rumen contents, 60% rumen contents: 40% straw, 50% rumen contents: 50% straw, and 40% rumen contents: 60% straw. Zeolite used in the form of granular size 100 mesh. The result of the research showed that the level of release of ammonia gas emissions during the composting process could be reduced by zeolite. Conclusion, significance, and impact study: The efficiency of reducing ammonia gas emissions using zeolite adsorbents in the composting process of SH solid waste ranges from 98.09 - 99.40% on average. Zeolite is an adsorbent that has high adsorption power because it has many pores and has a high ion exchange high capacity and serves as an absorbent cation that can cause environmental pollution.

Abstract

The development of tourism can encourage the economic growth of the community, especially in the tourism village community of Ngestirejo. In its development can not be separated from the involvement of the surrounding community, local government and private parties or companies. Various parties have supported the development of this tourist village, namely the Ngestirejo community, the Pordasi Organization (All-Indonesian Horse Sports Association) Special Region of Yogyakarta, and the local government of Gunungkidul Regency. The purpose of this study is to describe the readiness of the community in the development of community-based nature tourism villages. This research is an exploratory case study with selected informants using purposive sampling method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses the stages of data collection (data collection), data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display), and drawing conclusions or verification (conclutions). The result of the research is that there is a form of community readiness both in physical and non-physical terms in the development of community-based nature tourism villages.

Abstract

Malaria is  an infections disease of global concern, The subdistrict of Arongan lambalek in Aceh Barat district which belongs to the Medium Incidence Area category was a malaria endemic area with API with 3,67 at 1000  Population in 2013. The Annual Parasite Incidence was higher than National Parasite Malaria Incidence than is less API  1 at 1000 population. The aim of the study was to analyze the characteristic, socio-economic, behavioral, environmental factors to determine the influence of malaria incidence in Arongan lambalek sub district, Aceh Barat regency. This study was designed as case control or retrospective. As the case of the study, there were thirty-three (33) malaria positive people were involved. Laboratory test or rapid diagnostic test  was employed to select 33 respondents from malaria negative. Thus, make totally 66 respondents. The result of this study shows that there are five variables are risk factors for the incidence of malaria such as occupation (p-value =0,000, OR = 0,05), knowledge (p-value =0,000, OR =  17,5), attitude (p-value =0,001, OR = 7,43), action (p-value = 0,000, OR =  9,8) and  environment (p-value =  0,000, OR =  9,0). The result of multivariate analysis shows that knowledge is the risk factor with the most dominant influence on the incident of malaria (p = 0,006, OR=12,783, Confidence interval (CI) 95% =2,045– 79,893). Need for outreach to the community about malaria do this more often for more knowledge and and society information.

Abstract

Sistem perekaman data dapat dibuat dengan membangun data logger berbasis Arduino. Data logger multi chanel berbasis Arduino uno telah dibuat. Pembuatan data logger ini bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perekaman data pada setiap alat ukur yang membutuhkan perekaman data. Data logger dibuat dengan menggunakan modul multiplekser 74HC4051 yang memiliki 8 input sebagai media pengembangan jalur masukan pada arduino. Setiap sinyal yang masuk pada modul multiplekser akan dikirim ke Arduino uno untuk proses perhitungan dan pemilahan chanel. Setiap data hasil perhitungan disimpan pada modul penyimpanan yang berupa microSD. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan menggunakan variasi tegangan pada setiap chanel. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, multiplekser dapat menyalurkan setiap sinyal yang diterima pada setiap chanel dengan baik tanpa terjadi kesalahan jalur. Modul penyimpanan juga dapat menyimpan setiap data yang diterima oleh arduino uno dengan interval penyimpanan setiap detik. Multiplekser mempunyai tingkat akurasi 100% terhadap pemilahan jalur. Modul penyimpanan sebagai data logger juga mempunyai akurasi sebesar 100%.
