Abstract

Welfare in society is one of the most important aspects in ensuring the realization of the social where people have a good level of welfare. Benchmarks achieved prosperity is the fulfillment of basic needs of society as feasible. Statistical methods have been developed for the analysis of spatial data by taking into account factors that Geographically Weighted Logistic Regression Semiparametric (GWLRS). GWLRS is a local form of the logistic regression where there are parameters that are influenced by the location (Geographically varying coefficient) and the parameters that are not influenced by the location (fixed coefficient). Selection of the optimum bandwidth using Cross Validation (CV). Model GWLRS Welfare Status district or city in Central Java showed that GWLRS models differ significantly from the logistic regression model. And models generated for each area will be different from each other. To get the best models, the number of models to be evaluated. One method for selecting the best model is the value of the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC). Based on AIC obtained the best model is the model GWLRS because it has the smallest AIC value of 46.11213 with a classification accuracy of 77.14%. Keywords: Welfare, Geographically Weighted Logistic Regression Semiparametric, Cross Validation, Akaike Information Criterion

Abstract

Spatial regression is the result of the development of linear regression method, wherein the location or spatial aspects of the analyzed data are also must be considered. The phenomenon that includes spatial data of which is the deployment of a minimum wage. Minimum Wages District/City is a minimum standard that is used by employers to provide wages to employees in its business environment on a district/city in any given year. Minimum Wages District/City is determined by considering the welfare of workers and the state of the local economy. Factors in worker welfare such as Worth Living Needs and the Consumer Price Index (CPI), while one important indicator to determine the economic conditions in the region within a certain time period is Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Modeling the influence of these factors can be determined by using multiple linear regression and spatial regression. Based on the data processing result, there is a spatial dependence in the Minimum Wages District/City variable in Central Java, so Spatial Autoregressive (SAR) method is used in this study. Variables that significantly affect the UMK in Central Java through multiple linear regression method and SAR is the Worth Living Needs (X1) and CPI (X2). The SAR model generates the value of R2 at 72.269% and AIC at 66.393, better than the multiple linear regression model that generates the value of R2 at 68% and AIC at 68.482.Keywords :    Minimum Wages District/City, Worth Living Needs, CPI, GDP, multiple               linear regression, spatial dependence, Spatial Autoregressive

Abstract

This study aims to elucidate several factors which affect low-birth-weight (LBW) infants in Semarang General Hospital (RSUD) in the period from July to December 2011. With regard to the MilleniumDevelopment Goals’s targets, which are predominantly intended to reduce the child mortality rate, serious investigations are highly needed to identify the factors that determine the rate of babies born with the low-birth-weight category. This problem can be solved with the Binary Logistic Regression model,using the Bayesian method. The Bayesian method is one of the parameter estimation technique which employ prior value as initial knowledge. The conducted research is to argue that both factors of age and the maternal hemoglobin level considerably give influence on LBW birth. Based on the research analysis, it is extremely recommended that mother to be pays much attention not to be pregnant at relatively young age and maintain the secure level of hemoglobin during pregnancy.

Abstract

The composing of portfolio is one of the way to minimize the risk of investment. Through portfolio, it is expected that some stocks still give return when other stocks are loss. From this composed portfolio, every investor expect appropriate return. The higher the return is better. Black-Litterman Model is the method which optimize the investor’s return by giving difference financial capital proportion for every stocks of portfolio. This method combines both the aspect historical data and the investor view to make new prediction about return of portfolio as the basic to compose the weight model of assets. Investor often compose some portfolio to plan their investment, to compare the performance (capability to produce return and also risk) from any number of portfolio, before evaluating whether the performance of chosen portfolio has been appropriate with the expectation. The measurement of the performance of portfolio is done by using Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen Indeks. The result of the case study of eleven Jakarta Islamic Indexstocks in the period of 2009-2013 recommend the portfolio with the best perform, whichis optimized which Black-Litterman Model. Based on Sharpe Indeks, the best portfolio consists of SMGR 60,79% and INTP 39,21% of capital allocation. Based on Treynor and Jensen Indeks, the best portfolio consists of SMGR 22,59%, INTP 37,67%, PTBA 1,62%, ANTM 2,69%, ITMG 16,17%, and KLBF 19,26%. Keywords :     JII, Portfolio, Black-Litterman Model, Treynor Index, Sharpe Index, Jensen Index.

Abstract

The process of structural development in developing countries is a must. Each sector that developed is related to one another. These sectors associated with the supporting factor named transport, means transport has a vital and strategic functions in the development of other sectors. Education is one of the construction sector that growing rapidly, especially in big cities, and transportation is one of the factors supporting it: since schools and universities is one of the important generator of domestic transportation network. Each university holds up to tens of thousands of new college students every year. In this point, the transport activity in big cities is becoming increasingly complex, due to the increase in the private transportation is not matched by the increase in roads, causing congestion. Factors that influence the decision of the use of private transport on the student comprehensively analyzed using structural equation based on the variance, Partial Least Square (PLS). PLS is a powerful analytical method, though it’s not based on many assumptions (soft model), for example, the multivariate normal assumptions, it can use nominal scale up to ratios, as well as the sample size shouldn’t be large. PLS estimates the model  od relationship between latent variables and also latent variables with the indicator. Based on the analysis we concluded that the decision on the use in private transportations of Diponegoro University students affected by a combination of latent variables such time management, cost, physical, social interaction, and the intervening variable perception of 68.28%.Keywords: transportation, using of private transportation, Partial Least Square (PLS)

Abstract

Abstract: The problems raised in this study is "The effect of exercise in dribbling variations towards dribbling skills in SSB Chevron U-13 Pekanbaru" so that athletes can appear and play much better in the future and especially after research and find out if there is an increase in dribbling variations in football games to balance the opponent's game and achieve maximum results in the future. The form of this research is (using the only group of pree-test post-test design approach) with the population of football players in SSB Chevron U-13 Pekanbaru 13. The data in this study are all populations of 20 people. The instrument used in this study used the Dribbling Zig-Zag test, which aims to determine The effect of exercise in dribbling variations towards dribbling skills in SSB Chevron U-13 Pekanbaru. After that, the data is processed with statistics to test the normality using the liliefors test at a significant level of 0.05 α. The hypothesis proposed is that there is influence the effect of exercise in dribbling variations towards dribbling skills in SSB Chevron U-13 Pekanbaru. Based on the normal test analysis, data X produces Lcount of 0.1717 and Ltable of 0.285, which means Lcount < Table. While Y-variable produces Lcount equal to 0.1590 and Ltable equals 0.285. This means Lcount < LTable. There are averages based on the analysis of statistical data variable X 16.87 and the average variable Y is 18.10, then the data is normally distributed. Thus, there is the effect of exercise in dribbling variations towards dribbling skills in SSB Chevron U-13 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Practice Dribbling Variations, Dribbling Skills.

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Pineapple (Ananas comosus L.) is one of the Indonesian local fruits. Processing of pineapple into fruit juice is an effort to extend the shelf life and to increase the utility value of pineapples. Pineapple juice can be added with extracts from spices, such as turmeric, to enrich the content of functional compounds. The purpose of this research was to learn the physical and chemical properties of pineapple juice beverage with turmeric juice addition. The research used a non factorial Completely Randomized Design, with six formulations of pienapple juice and turmeric juice as treatments. The observed parameters were physical (viscosity and color include L*, a*, b*), and chemical properties (total soluble solid, total acid, vitamin C and total phenol). The results showed that the addition of turmeric juice significantly affected the increasing of a*, b* and total phenol values. Based on vitamin C and total phenol values, the formulation of 70 % pineapple juice : 30 % turmeric juice was the best treatment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Organizational Culture, Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance of East Java “Veteran” National Development University. The population in this study were all employees of the production section of East Java “Veteran” National Development University with 77 employees. The sample in this study was 77 respondents. Determination of the sample in this study using the census method. This research data analysis tool uses multiple linear regression. The results showed that organizational culture had a positive effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the calculated t value greater than t table that is 2.587 > 1.667, with a significant value of 0,000 < 0.05 so that it is significant. Work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the t value of 1.922 is greater than t table that is 1.667, with a significant value of 0.008 < 0.05 means significant. Job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the t value of 1.955 greater t table that is 1.667, with a significant value of 0.004 < 0.05 means significant.

Abstract

Limbah cair PT. Interbat berasal dari kegiatan domestik meliputi laundry (menggunakan detergen bebas phospat), kegiatan hygiene personal (mandi, keramas dan cuci tangan), kegiatan dapur dan kantin, toilet/WC (buang air), kegiatan kebersihan (pembersihan lantai dan kamar mandi); kegiatan produksi (penisilin, sefalosporin, dan non betalaktam) dan laboratorium meliputi pencucian alat-alat produksi dan alat laboratorium, pencucian botol, air cucian vial, air buangan dari wet scrubber HVAC (sistem tata udara). Beban dan jumlah limbah cair yang masuk dalam IPAL sentral PT. Interbat sering mengalami fluktuasi konsentrasi dan fluktuasi jumlah air. Sehingga beberapa kali hasil olahan tidak memenuhi standart baku mutu Pergub Jatim No. 72 Tahun 2013 untuk industri farmasi. Teknologi sistem biofilter anaerobik aerobik telah banyak dimanfaatkan untuk mengolah limbah cair dan dapat menurunkan BOD dan COD hingga 95%. Salah satu kelebihan teknologi ini adalah tahan terhadap fluktuasi jumlah air limbah maupun fluktuasi konsentrasi. Bahan koagulan digunakan pada aplikasi ini untuk membantu proses pengikatan padatan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini akan dikaji tentang pengaruh penggunaan koagulan pada biofilter anaerobik aerobik dalam menurunkan COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) dan BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) limbah cair industri farmasi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data sekunder, survei lapangan, perhitungan reaktor, dokumentasi, kajian literatur dan analisis laboratorium. Dimensi reaktor biofilter anaerobik aerobik dalam penelitian ini adalah skala 1:10. Debit air limbah pada skala 1:10 adalah sebesar 50ml/menit. Digunakan tambahan koagulant dengan variasi 0 ppm (tanpa), 200 ppm dan 300 ppm. Rata-rata efisiensi penurunan COD dan BOD dalam penelitian ini pada dosis tanpa penambahan koagulan penurunan COD sebesar 60% dan BOD sebesar 60%; pada dosis koagulan 200 ppm penurunan COD sebesar 54% dan BOD sebesar 46%; dan pada dosis koagulan 300 ppm penurunan COD sebesar 67% dan BOD sebesar 65%. Kemampuan dalam efisiensi penurunan COD dan BOD tertinggi dalam penelitian ini adalah pada koagulan dosis 300 ppm. Hasil COD dan BOD outlet adalah COD outlet sebesar 67 mg/l dan BOD outlet sebersar 49 mg/l. Bila dibandingkan dengan Pergub Jatim No.72 Tahun 2013 tentang Baku Mutu Air Limbah Bagi Industri Dan/Atau Kegiatan Usaha Lainnya, maka hasil COD dan BOD outlet sudah dibawah baku mutu. Abstract

Air tanah mengandung ion terlarut seperti Besi (Fe), Mangan (Mn), dan beberapa senyawa anorganik lainnya. Terlarutnya Fe dan Mn dalam air menyebabkan warna air tersebut berubah menjadi kuning coklat setelah terjadi kontak dengan udara. Diperlukan teknologi untuk menurunkan kandungan Fe dan Mn pada air tanah agar layak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaji efektivitas removal Fe dan Mn menggunakan media filtrasi Manganese greendsand dan Zeolit terpadukan resin pada air tanah. Variabel penelitian adalah kombinasi jenis media dan waktu operasi filtrasi yaitu: 15, 30, dan 45 menit. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel buatan dengan kandungan Fe = 5,316 mg/L dan Mn = 2,533 mg/L. Instalasi filtrasi terbuat dari pipa PVC dengan diameter 4 inchi dengan ketinggian 100 cm dan menggunakan aliran upflow. Analisis Fe menggunakan metoda ortho-phenantrolin secara spektrofotometer, sedangkan analisis Mn menggunakan metode persulfat secara permanganometri. Konsentrasi Fe dan Mn setelah pengolahan mengalami penurunan. Pada media Manganese Greensand konsentrasi Fe menjadi 0,316 mg/L dan 0,017 mg/L untuk Mn. Pada media Zeolit konsentrasi Fe menjadi 1,424 mg/L dan 0,049 mg/L untuk Mn. Media Manganese Greensand memiliki efektivitas removal sebesar 94 % untuk Fe dan 99 % untuk removal Mn. Sedangkan media Zeolit memiliki efektivitas removal sebesar 73 % untuk parameter Fe dan 98 % untuk Mn. Kata kunci: Filtrasi, Ion Exchange, Manganese Greensand, Zeolit.
