Abstract

One of the authorities of the Regional Government is the field of tourism, this delegation of authority is emphasized in several laws and regulations. However, North Toraja Regency, which has tourism potential, does not yet have derivative regulations to empower and improve the economy of business actors. This article focuses on disclosing the basis for the formation of local regulations on the implementation of tourism and content specifically related to business actors. The method used is normative-empirical, focusing on examining primary data through open interviews, and examining secondary data, analyzed qualitatively. Referring to several laws and regulations, it is regulated that the local government has the authority and even emphasized several obligations to take care of tourism affairs, so that the North Toraja Regency government is seen as important to form regional regulations, while the content material related to business actors is realized by setting the norms of obligation for the government to conduct training for business actors, where the material is prepared on the basis of research so that business actors in the tourism and culinary management sector are able to increase the number of tourists, the income of business actors, as well as regional original income, the article contains standardization of the construction of identical infrastructure for each regions, and facilitating special partnerships with the need for appropriate technology for business actors, as well as facilitating access to capital with banks and investors.

Abstract

Speaking skills, particularly for students majoring in English, are crucial for enhancing their communication abilities in both academic and professional settings. However, many students face challenges in public speaking, such as anxiety and lack of self-confidence. To address these issues, this community service activity aims to develop students' speaking skills through the production and utilization of podcasts. The method used includes podcast introduction, public speaking simulation, and independent podcast production and publication. Evaluation results show that the use of podcasts is effective in reducing students' anxiety in public speaking, enhancing self-confidence, and helping students improve fluency, pronunciation, and structured message delivery. This activity also provides an enjoyable, applicable, and reflective learning experience, encouraging students to become more active in developing their communication skills in a context relevant to the professional world. Overall, this activity has a positive impact on students' speaking skills and provides insights into the application of digital media in communication skill development.  Keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa, terutama mahasiswa jurusan Bahasa Inggris, sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi mereka, baik di dunia akademik maupun profesional. Namun, banyak mahasiswa yang menghadapi kendala dalam berbicara di depan umum, seperti kecemasan dan kurangnya percaya diri. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa melalui produksi dan pemanfaatan podcast. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengenalan podcast, simulasi public speaking, dan produksi serta publikasi podcast secara mandiri. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan podcast efektif dalam mengurangi kecemasan mahasiswa dalam berbicara di depan umum, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, serta membantu mahasiswa meningkatkan fluency, pronunciation, dan kemampuan menyusun pesan secara terstruktur. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan, aplikatif, dan reflektif, serta mendorong mahasiswa untuk lebih aktif mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi mereka dalam konteks yang relevan dengan dunia profesional. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif pada keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa, serta memberikan pandangan mengenai penerapan media digital dalam pengembangan keterampilan komunikasi.

Abstract

Based on the provisions of articles 28A to 28J of the 1945 Constitution, the state is obliged to fulfill, protect and respect the human rights of every citizen. This guarantee is not just written without reason or purpose, but this guarantee must protect every human being from the use of unlimited power or the actions of authorities who act arbitrarily. The research method uses library research, namely a research process carried out through collecting data and information from various related sources. The results of the research in this paper are that the right to education must be accessible to anyone regardless of the individual's background, so that everyone can receive education equally. Fulfillment of this right is implemented in the form of providing facilities, access or resources that enable the fulfillment of the right to education to all people, both those who have the ability to finance their education and those who do not have the ability to finance their education, or based on differences in ethnicity, religion, race, class. , gender, different social backgrounds

Abstract

The use of a foreign language in communication takes more effort to avoid misunderstanding between the speaker and the listener who is notan English native speaker. The reason is a foreign language has different letters, pronunciation, and sentence structure. English which is well-known as an international language is an important language to master by Indonesian students to face the globalization. However, taught as a second language, many Indonesian still find it difficult to pronounce English sounds correctly. This workshop aims to reinforce the participants’ pronunciation, especially for English consonant sounds so they can pronoun the sounds correctly. This workshop was held using Google Meet because at that time social distancing was required and the college instructed all the learning process are conducted online. The participants showed positive attitude during the workshop and it was found some difficulties by students while practicing the English consonant sounds.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze the factors that cause online fraud crimes and to find out and analyze the efforts made by the authorities in dealing with online fraud crimes. This research uses empirical research methods, the types of data used are primary and secondary data, primary data is obtained directly at the research location by means of direct interviews related to the problem being researched with parties who are directly involved with the problem being discussed to obtain research data. Meanwhile, secondary data is obtained from literature such as documents, written sources such as journals, books, legislation and so on which are related to the problem being studied. The results of this research show that the factors that cause online-based fraud crimes are economic factors, environmental factors, socio-cultural factors and intellectual factors. Efforts made by the authorities in overcoming online-based fraud crimes include preventive efforts, repressive efforts, and implementation of the Information and Electronic Transactions Law against cyber crimes. The preventive efforts carried out include providing advice to the public through electronic media and related cyber crimes to be forwarded to the wider community. Repressive efforts include processing every cyber crime case that is handled in accordance with applicable regulations. The research recommends to the police as law enforcement officers that they should not only carry out outreach, but also block sites that are suspected to contain elements of crime and it is hoped that in the future the police will increase supervision over the use of social media by optimizing POLRI PRECISION.

Abstract

This paper discusses the analysis of forms of consumer protection in terms of not listing the sugar, salt, and fat content in ready-to-drink drinks, and the duties of the health service in supervising business actors who do not list the sugar, salt and fat content in ready-to-drink drink business actors. Using qualitative methods with data from interviews, data processing techniques are carried out using descriptive analysis. The results of the study are forms of consumer protection in terms of not listing the sugar, salt, and fat content in ready-to-drink drinks by accommodating suggestions and input from consumers which will later be conveyed directly to business owners so that these suggestions and input can be considered for consumer health. It is hoped that the task of the government or related agencies to record ready-to-drink drinks that do not comply with PMK.NO. 63 of 2015 to include information on sugar, salt and fat content.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine and analyze the effectiveness of legal protection of intellectual property rights of micro, small, and medium enterprises in the creative economy sector, as well as to determine the factors that influence the effectiveness of legal protection of intellectual property rights holders of micro, small, and medium enterprises in the creative economy sector. This research method uses an empirical research method. And the results of this study indicate that the level of effectiveness of the implementation of legal protection of intellectual property rights of micro, small, and medium enterprises in the creative economy sector is categorized as quite effective but not optimal due to limitations in terms of preventing plagiarism in terms of protecting copyright and trademarks. The factors that influence effectiveness include several aspects, namely access to information and technology, complex costs and procedures, legal substance, and awareness and knowledge of MSME actors. The recommendations in this study are that collaboration is needed in public education efforts to increase public awareness, improve regulations, and enforce strict laws and that public education and socialization with a wider reach are needed regarding the importance of Intellectual Property Rights as an effort to build public awareness and concern.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of profit sharing financing and partial sale financing on profitability level -Return On Asset (ROA) - PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Makassar Branch with the purpose To examine the effect of financing the results and partial sale financing to the level of profitability -Return On Asset (ROA) - PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Makassar BranchData collection using documentation while the type of data used is quantitative data sourced from company reports. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple regression statistical analysis.Based on the results of partial significance test data processing (Test-t) obtained that the variables of profit sharing (X1) and buying and selling (X2) have a significant influence on the dependent variable (ROA). Meanwhile, based on hypothesis test result simultaneously (F test) where H0 is rejected which means that independent variables (financing of profit sharing and selling pattern) have a significant influence together to dependent variable (ROA).

Abstract

Analysis of the Effect of Marketing Costs Against PT.Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor, Gowa Branch. Marketing is one of several management activities that have an important role, because it is a direct support that has a company's activities by meeting company products with the market to satisfy customer needs, thereby increasing sales volume from the maximum sales results with low costs. This study aims to determine the effect of marketing costs on motorcycle sales at PT.Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor. The observation period began from March to April 2016 which became the object of research was PT.Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor, Gowa Branch. For data analysis descriptive analysis methods and simple regression analysis methods are used. From this study, the results obtained from the four existing promotional activities such as advertising, personal selling, sales promotion and publicity. Pt. Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor, Gowa Branch only uses two types of sales promotion and advertising activities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bauran promosi terhadap penjualan sepeda motor Yamaha Jupiter MX pada PT. Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor Cabang Pallangga. Hasil anlisis data regresi linear sederhana variabel bauran promosi (X)  terhadap penjualan sepeda motor yamaha Jupiter MX (Y)  Cabang Pallangga, menunjukkan bahwa Y = 22,017+ 0,370x dan nilai analasis korelasi product moment diperoleh 0,813 (korelasi sangat kuat). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara bauran promosi dengan penjualan sepeda motor Yamaha Jupiter MX. Sedangkan, hasil perhitungan analisis  koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel bauran promosi (X) memberi pengaruh sebesar 66% terhadap penjualan sepeda motor Yamaha Jupiter MX (Y), sedangkan selebihnya yaitu sebesar 44% adalah dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitiannya. Hasil uji signifikansi diperoleh nilai sebesar 11,497 yang lebih besar dari 2,00 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan sebesar 2,65 pada taraf signifikansi 1% sedangkan hasil uji kualitas hubungan diperoleh  sebesar 0,813 ternyata ≥ (lebih besar) dari  sebesar 0,232 pada taraf signifikan 5% dan  sebesar 0,302 pada taraf signifikan 1%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikansi antara Bauran Promosi terhadap Penjualan Sepeda Motor Yamaha Jupiter MX pada PT. Suraco Jaya Abadi Motor Cabang Pallangga.
