Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of behaviorist theory in improving students' basic discipline and cognition in science learning in elementary school. The method used is library research, by collecting and analyzing various written sources such as books, scientific journals, articles, and other publications relevant to the topic. The theory of behaviorism was chosen because it emphasizes the formation of behavior through stimulus and response, which is considered effective in building disciplinary habits and strengthening students' basic understanding of science concepts. The research process is carried out by examining relevant sources, recording the main principles, and comparing the views and findings of various authors. The results of the study show that behaviorism-based learning strategies, such as positive reinforcement, punishment, and repetitive exercises, can help students develop disciplined behaviors and improve their conceptual understanding of science. These findings are expected to be a reference for teachers and education practitioners in designing more effective and theory-based learning approaches.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to describe the interests and learning outcomes of students who were taught using the snowball throwing learning model assisted by Newton's law physics song, to find out the differences in interest and learning outcomes taught using the snowball throwing learning model and those taught using the conventional model. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a posttest only control group design. The research population is class X students of SMAN 1 Jeneponto. The research instrument was a response questionnaire and a test of learning outcomes. Descriptive analysis of the very high category of the experimental class and the high category of the control class. Inferential analysis using the t test obtained tcount 4.68 < ttable 2.04 This shows that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted or there are differences in student learning outcomes. The implications of this study are considerations for educators in using the snowball throwing learning model assisted by physics songs, educators can use different learning models, for other researchers it can be used as a reference for further research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Jurusan PGMI Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar; dampak Covid-19 terhadap proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Jurusan PGMI Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar; serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat terhadap proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Jurusan PGMI Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan jurusan PGMI UIN alauddin Makassar dilaksanakan secara daring pada saat pemberlakuan lock-down Covid-19. Pembelajaran daring dilaksanakan selama 16 kali pertemuan sama seperti halnya dengan pembelajaran tatap muka pada masa normal. Proses perkuliahan tetap sama yakni dengan metode diskusi hanya saja dilakansakan secara virtual learning. Pembejaran ini pun mengandung hal positif dan negatif. Positifnya bisa dilaksanakan secara cepat dan tepat. Kondisi negatifnya adalah mahasiswa tidak banyak mempunyai kesempatan berinteraksi dengan teman dan dosennya untuk berdiskusi tentang materi pembelajaran. Di samping itu pula tidak semua jaringan internet baik pada semua lokasi dan pengeluaran finansial akan semakin banyak.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the existence of the teaching profession amidst low public appreciation, using a literature review approach. The main focus of this study is how the teaching profession continues to play a strategic role in the world of education, even though it often does not receive commensurate recognition from society and institutions. Data was collected through searching scientific documents from various online sources such as Tandfonline, Routledge, ERIC, Google Scholar, and educational institution repositories. From the selection results, 14 relevant documents were obtained and analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques model Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To ensure the validity of the data, this study refers to the criteria of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability in accordance with the qualitative data analysis guidelines from Moleong. The results of this study indicate that despite the low appreciation of the teaching profession, teachers still have a vital existence in shaping the character and quality of the nation's next generation. However, the social and professional challenges faced require more serious attention from various parties so that the teaching profession receives proper recognition.

Abstract

This research examines various types of educational research using literature review methods, the results of which can be found that each type of research has different characteristics and objectives, which are important to understand in the context of selecting the right type of research. Qualitative research focuses on in-depth understanding of social phenomena through interviews, observation, and text analysis, while quantitative uses numerical data to test hypotheses through statistics and measurement. Library research examines written sources such as books, articles and journals to collect information, while field research collects data directly from locations or subjects through observation and interaction. Pure science research aims to increase knowledge without thinking about practical applications, applied science uses knowledge to solve real problems and applications. Descriptive research describes the characteristics of a phenomenon or population, correlative research analyzes the relationship between two or more variables without concluding cause and effect, comparative research compares two or more groups to find differences or similarities. Overall, all types of research play an important role in developing scientific knowledge and solving practical problems. Choosing the right method not only increases the validity of the results, but also ensures that the research can make a significant contribution to understanding and innovation in various fields.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of user satisfaction and the impact of a web-based library clearance service application on user satisfaction at the Library of Hasanuddin University, Makassar. A descriptive quantitative method was used with 99 respondents, all of whom were students who had used the application. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The results show that user satisfaction with the application is categorized as "very satisfied," with a satisfaction percentage of 82%. Based on the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) model, the highest score was found in the content variable (90%), followed by accuracy (85%), format (83%), ease of use (80%), and timeliness (77%). The findings also indicate that the web-based application has a significant impact on user satisfaction. This study recommends the addition of features such as clearance letter extension, notifications, and other relevant tools to meet user needs. The results are expected to serve as a reference for future research and the development of library services based on information technology.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan dampak dinamika politik pemerintahan Ali khususnya setelah berakhirnya masa khulafaur rasyidin yaitu masa kepemimpinan Muawiyah di Dinasti Umayyah yang mengubah sistem pemerintahan dari bentuk demokrasi menjadi monarki, 2) menganalisis relevansi dinamika politik pemerintahan khalifah Ali bin Abi Thalib dengan konflik politik yang terjadi di negara-negara muslim era moderen. Dalam menjawab permasalahan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah dengan pendekatan historis (sejarah), pendekatan politik, dan pendekatan agama. Penelitian ini tergolong library research dengan data deskriptif kualitatif yang dikumpulkan dengan mengutip, menyadur, dan menganalisis dengan menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis) terhadap literatur yang representatif dan mempunyai relevansi dengan masalah yang dibahas, kemudian mengulas, dan menyimpulkannya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konflik politik pemerintahan khalifah Ali bin Abi Thalib berakibat berdampak terhadap perubahan sistem pemerintahan dari bentuk khilafah menjadi dinasti. Dinamika politik tersebut ternyata memiliki relevansi dengan pemerintahan di negara-negara muslim era moderen seperti di Irak dan di Indonesia yang mengalami konflik politik yang sama yaitu berawal dari krisis legitimasi kekuasaan.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an merupakan sumber utama ajaran Islam yang memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk dan menggerakkan dinamika peradaban Islam. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji Al-Qur’an sebagai fondasi peradaban Islam melalui pendekatan historis dan normatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan, yang menganalisis teks Al-Qur’an serta literatur ilmiah kontemporer yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur’an tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai teks teologis, tetapi juga sebagai sumber nilai etika, sosial, dan intelektual yang berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan struktur sosial, tradisi keilmuan, dan kebudayaan Islam. Secara historis, nilai-nilai Qur’ani mendorong transformasi masyarakat menuju tatanan yang berlandaskan keadilan dan tanggung jawab sosial. Secara normatif, Al-Qur’an menyediakan prinsip-prinsip universal yang tetap relevan dalam menghadapi tantangan peradaban modern. Dengan demikian, Al-Qur’an dapat dipahami sebagai sumber inspirasi berkelanjutan bagi pembangunan peradaban Islam yang berkeadaban, adaptif, dan kontekstual
