Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of moodle (poodle) portable learning media in biology learning. This research is a development research with 4D models. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 Senior High School of Pangkajene 20, Pangkep and Biology teachers. This study was conducted for 4 meetings for media trials by researchers and Biology teachers. The collection technique was to validate the expert validator first, then share the questionnaire responses of the teachers and student responses to test the practicality of the media that has been made. The results of expert validation showed that media development products have valid criteria based on assessment by material experts at 4.3 and media experts at 4.6. Field tests were carried out for students of Senior High School of Pangkajene 20 and biology teachers as the users of media products, and obtained criteria based on the acquisition of scores percentage of assessments in each trial amounted to 79.62% for student responses and 90% for teacher responses. Based on the data analysis in this study, it was concluded that the results of the development of poodle-based media obtained valid and practical criteria for use in biology learning. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to develop an authentic assessment instrument on ecosystem material for SMA using the 4D type development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) by Thiagarajan. The trial was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Bulukumba in class X MIA 1. The results of expert validation showed that the project appraisal instrument, performance and lesson plans had a strong relevance with the value of V = 88%, 100% and 100% respectively where all three were greater than 75% that it fulfilled the content validity coefficient. The reliability test was carried out at the trial stage by analyzing the results of the teacher's assessment of students using developed instruments. The result of the reliability test shows the value of r11 = 0.943 or greater than 0.70 so that it can be stated that the instrument developed is valid and reliable.Keywords: development, authentic assessment, validation

Abstract

Abstract. The ability to argue is one of the 21st century skills that students need to have. The purpose of this study was to determine the scientific argumentation skills of students class XII at the Biringkanaya District High School in answering description questions, especially in the digestive system material. This type of research is a descriptive survey research using purposive sampling technique. The population of this study were students of class XII MIA at State Senior High Schools in Biringkanaya District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi. The sample used in this study is a study group in which students have heterogeneous cognitive abilities. The argumentation ability data is obtained through giving tests. Based on the test results, the overall argumentation skills of students were in the very poor category with a score of 19.74%. The results of the students' arguments showed that in the aspect of making claims with a percentage of 91.4% (very good); aspects include ground with a percentage of 21.64% (less); aspects include backing with a percentage of  9.88% (very low); aspects include a warranty with a percentage of 5.71% (very low); aspects include qualifier with a percentage of 5% (very low);  and aspects include rebuttals or reservations with a percentage of 7.3% (very low).Keywords: ability to argument, making claims, rebuttal, reservation, high schools Makassar

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes and the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom learning model using E-Learning on the learning outcomes of class X MIPA students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bone. This research is a pre-experimental research design using One Group Pretest-Postest. The population in this study were students of class X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bone. The research sample was selected with a specific purpose (purposive sampling), namely the technique of determining the sample with certain considerations in order to obtain one class, namely class X MIPA 1, totaling 27 students. The data collection technique used is through tests. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that the posttest mean score of 74.07 was higher than the posttest average score of 28.74. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who are taught with the flipped classroom model have an average value that is in the good category and the Flipped Classroom learning model is effective on student learning outcomes on virus material for Class X MIPA 1 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bone.Keywords: learning models, Flipped Classroom, learning outcome

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dipadu model pembelajaran Number Heads Together (NHT) terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Barru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi eksperimen) dengan menggunakan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa pada kelas XI IPA semester genap SMAN 3 Barru tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling sederhana yang terdiri dari kelas kontrol (dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional) dan kelas eksperimen (dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E dipadu model pembelajaran number heads together). Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan dua tahap, yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji anacova.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E dipadu model pembelajaran number heads together (NHT) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik dengan nilai sig 0.000 <  0.05 hal tersebut dikarenakan integrasi kedua model ini menerapkan kerja kelompok dalam memecahkan masalah yang membantu peserta didik dalam mengembangkan rasa tanggung jawab dalam dirinya. Disarankan kepada guru-guru agar dapat menerapkan integrasi model learning cycle 7E dengan NHT untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of the Project-Based Learning learning model based on ARCS motivational strategies on motivation and students scientific attitude on the environmental change in 10th grade of SMAN 11 Pinrang. This type of research is quasi-experimental research involving two groups in which one acts as an experimental group and the other as a control group with the research design Matching pretest-postest comparison group design. The sample in this study were students of class X EXACT 2 as an experimental class and class X EXACT 1 as a control class obtained using random sampling techniques by taking cognitive scores from the previous semester and looking at their equivalence with a significance value of 0.275 with a class conclusion conducted an equivalent study in terms of cognition. The type of research instruments used were the Motivation and Scientific Attitudes questionnaire. The learning outcomes test in the form of multiple choice tests is used as supporting data to prove the correlation or relationship between students' motivation with the learning outcomes they have obtained. Descriptive statistics are used to describe interests and learning outcomes while inferential statistics to test the research hypotheses carried out by covariance analysis. The results showed that (1) there was an influence on the use of PJBL based on ARCS motivational strategies on the students motivation of SMAN 11 Pinrang (2) there was an influence on the use of PJBL based on ARCS motivational strategies on the scientific attitude of SMAN 11 Pinrang.Keywords: PJBL, ARCS motivational strategy, motivation questionnaire, scientific attitude questionnaire

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi kebiasaan belajar terhadap penguasaan materi sistem saraf siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian korelasi (Sebabakibat). Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Donri-Donri semester genap tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh menggunakan seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA yang terdiri dari 76 siswa. Kebiasaan belajar yang diukur meliputi 5 indikator, yakni: Kebiasaan belajar biologi secara teratur, kebiasaan mempersiapkan keperluan studi pada malam hari, kebiasaan hadir di kelas sebelum pelajaran biologi dimulai, kebiasaan belajar sampai paham dan tuntas, dan kebiasaan mengunjungi perpustakaan. Data penelitian kebiasaan belajar diperoleh melalui angket tertutup dan data penguasaan materi sistem saraf diperoleh dari tes pilihan ganda yang kemudian diolah dengan analisis regresi linear dan korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ada kontribusi kebiasaan belajar terhadap penguasaan materi sistem saraf siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Donri-Donri sebesar 54,3%. Nilai sig 0,000 0,05 artinya kebiasaan belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penguasaan materi sistem saraf siswa. Nilai korelasi 0,737 berada pada kategori tinggi, artinya kebiasaan belajar memiliki korelasi yang tinggi terhadap penguasaan materi sistem saraf siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the potency of the integration strategy of PBL with cooperative learning of Jigsaw in mmproving the students understanding of concept. This research belongs to quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design factorial 2x2. The research variables consist of independents variable A B, the former is the integration strategy of PBL + Jigsaw and conventional learning strategy and the latest is low and high academic ability. While the dependent variable is understanding of concept. The research population is the new students of four study programs: Biology, Biology Education, Chemistry, and Chemistry Education in the faculty of Math and Science UNM in academic years 2011/2012. Two classes were selected as the research samples, Chemistry Education (N=36) as the experimental class, and Biology class (N=30) as a control class (using conventional strategy). On those two classes, the students with high and low academic ability are selected based on the result of grouping test. The instrument used is essay test on Fundamental Biology course. The research data were collected by giving test before and after treatment then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Anacova is used to test the hypothesis of differences. The research result shows that (1) the strategy of learning has an influence on the concept understanding of the students so that the integration strategy of PBL+Jigsaw has more potency to improve concept understanding of the students rather than conventional one, (2) There is no differences of understanding of concepts on high and low academic ability, (3) there is no influence of interaction between the learning strategy with academic ability toward concept understanding.

Abstract

Papua memiliki hutan sagu yang cukup luas yaitu sekitar 1,20 juta hektar, namun beberapa diantaranya mengalami kerusakan,maka perlu upaya rehabilitasi. Sagu (Metroxylon Rottb) adalah tanaman yang sangat efisien yang berpotensi menghasilkan karbohidrat. Tanaman sagu di papua mampu menghasilkan 3,5 juta ton pati kering/ha/tahun, jauh di atas kemampuan tanaman penghasil karbohidrat lain seperti padi, jagung, gandum dan kentang. Penelitian tentang varietas unggul sagu, teknik budidaya, teknologi pasca panen, dan pengembangan produk turunan sagu masih terbatas. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kepustakaan dengan menggunakan data dan informasi yang diperoleh dari berbagai literatur yang tersedia. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif.  Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pohon sagu tumbuh sangat baik di tepi sungai, lahan gambut dan daerah tergenang air yang sebagian besar tanaman lain tidak bisa tumbuh. Untuk menjamin keberhasilan konservasi hutan alam dan rehabilitasi lahan gambut, maka diperlukan untuk mengembangkan sistem pengelolaan perkebunan sagu. Pengembangan industri perkebunan sagu secara teknis dan layak secara finansial melalui pengembangan produk turunan sagu yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi . Sagu diharapkan dapat menjadi komoditas yang prospektif untuk penyediaan bahan baku pangan, energi terbarukan, dan industri lainnya.Kata kunci: konservasi, lahan hutan sagu, perkebunan, pangan, energi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik denganmenerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi Bahan Kimia dalam Kehidupan. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus secara luring dan daring. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan di SMP Tunas Agro, Kabupaten Seruyan Kalimantan Tengah. Langkah kegiatan PPL menggunakan model PBL terdiri dari pembuatan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), media pembelajaran, bahan ajar, Lembar Kerja Peserta didik (LKPD) dan alat evaluasi. Objek penelitian yang digunakan adalah peserta didik kelas VIII A Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik yang dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya jumlah peserta didik yang nilainya melampaui KBM. disimpulkan bahwa menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik.Kata Kunci : IPA,PTK, Model Pembelajaran PBL, SMP Tunas Agro
