Abstract

This Islamic counseling approach aims to provide holistic solutions for individuals facing psychological, emotional, and spiritual problems. This article aims to explore the implementation of the Pillars of Faith in Islamic counseling and its impact on the psychological well-being of Muslim individuals. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 15-20 Muslim individuals who had participated in an Islamic counseling program. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and observations, then analyzed using thematic analysis methods. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Pillars of Faith in Islamic counseling has a positive impact on participants' spiritual beliefs, peace of mind, and ability to deal with problems. The majority of participants reported improved mental and emotional well-being, as well as the ability to accept life's trials better. This article makes an important contribution to understanding how the integration of the Pillars of Faith in Islamic counseling practice can strengthen a more holistic and relevant counseling approach for the Muslim community, as well as address the challenges faced by counselors in their practice.

Abstract

Personal finance management is very important, especially for the younger generation such as students, for their future. However, in reality, there are still many students who do not understand how to manage finances effectively. Community service activities are carried out for students of SMA PGRI 2 Padang with the hope that students will be able to manage their personal finances from an early age. This activity is carried out through a series of workshops and interactive discussions that involve students in activities based on good financial planning and management. Through a simple and practical approach, students are invited to learn the basic concepts of money management, create a personal budget, and understand the importance of saving and investing. The results of this service show an increase in students' understanding of the importance of personal financial management and their ability to plan a more structured budget.

Abstract

This paper is motivated by the desire to explore more deeply the methods of guidance and counseling as referred to in the Qur’an, Surah An-Nahl verse 125. This verse contains three main methods in the guidance and counseling process: the method of hikmah (wisdom), mau‘izhah hasanah (good advice), and mujādalah ahsan (debate in the best manner). This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach in the form of a literature review, aiming to explore the counseling values embedded in the verse and their relevance to modern counseling practices. The findings show that the guidance and counseling approach based on the Qur’an is not only relevant within an Islamic context but also holds universal value in character building, behavior transformation, and strengthening interpersonal relationships. This article recommends that these three methods continue to be developed within the scientific field of Islamic guidance and counseling, so they may serve as practical guidelines for Muslim counselors in providing services aligned with Sharia principles.

Abstract

            This article is a literature review that examines the role of dhikr in the counseling process by tracing its meaning and relevance based on the interpretation of the Qur'an. This study uses a literature study method by collecting and analyzing various sources such as books, journals, and research results related to dhikr from an Islamic and psychological perspective. The results of the study show that dhikr in the Qur'an has a broad meaning, not only as verbal worship, but also as a way to get closer to Allah, form a positive attitude, and calm the soul. In Islamic counseling practice, dhikr functions as an effective spiritual therapy technique to help individuals overcome anxiety, stress, and other psychological problems. Various studies support that the application of dhikr in counseling sessions can increase inner peace, mental focus, and strengthen the spiritual aspect of psychological health. In addition, dhikr has also been proven relevant as a relaxation and therapy method that supports the overall mental healing process in accordance with the spiritual values ​​taught in the Qur'an. Therefore, dhikr has an important role in Islamic counseling both as a preventive and curative measure, as well as being a culturally sensitive approach to improving mental health in the Muslim community.

Abstract

Play has character values for the child's life. Specifically the game can be divided into two, namely the traditional game performed by children who live in the countryside and modern games performed by children who live in urban areas.To dig the character values on the game the researchers used a qualitative approach. The results of the study found, (1) Traditional games generally use natural game tools and games where the game is done in the open, while modern games use electronic devices, and are generally performed in enclosed spaces, (2) traditional games and modern games have value character values on the cognitive, social, emotional and identity aspects, and (3) traditional games highlight the values of social character, while modern games highlight the values of individual characters. The results can be used by educators, especially school counselors to make the game as a technique in counseling in shaping the character of students.

Abstract

The community service program entitled "Distribution of Life Jackets and Marine Safety Education for Students Using Small Boats in Numbing Village" is based on the high risks faced by students in coastal villages who use small boats as their daily means of transportation. Numbing Village, as a coastal area, has limited access to land transportation, so many students rely on small boats to go to school. However, a lack of understanding about marine safety and a lack of safety equipment, such as life jackets, increases the risk of fatal accidents at sea, especially in bad weather conditions. The main aim of this program is to improve student safety by distributing life jackets and providing marine safety education. The distribution of life jackets is expected to reduce the risk of accidents caused by drowning, while marine safety education aims to increase students' awareness and skills in maintaining personal safety while on board. Apart from that, this program also aims to build awareness of the importance of marine safety from an early age. This program involves collaboration with local schools in Numbing Village, the village government, and the local maritime community. With support from various parties, the program can run more effectively in students' daily activities. This activity is carried out through two main steps. First, the distribution of life jackets to students which has a direct impact on their physical protection when they use ships. Second, organizing marine safety education which includes explaining how to use life jackets, steps to deal with emergency situations at sea, and awareness of weather and water conditions. It is hoped that this program can be implemented in other coastal areas in Indonesia to build a better maritime safety culture.

Abstract

Background: Cervical cancer and breast cancer are two leading causes of cancer-related mortality among women in Indonesia. Low levels of knowledge and awareness in the community, particularly among Women of Reproductive Age (WRA), regarding early detection remain a serious challenge in cancer prevention and management. Objective: This activity aims to improve WRA’s knowledge and awareness of the importance of early detection of cervical and breast cancer through a community-based educational approach. Method: This community service program employed a pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design. The intervention was carried out through education using the peer group method, educational video screening, and discussion sessions with cancer survivors. Data were collected using pre-test and post-test questionnaires and analyzed descriptively. Results: Prior to the educational intervention, the majority of respondents (52.3%) had low levels of knowledge. After the intervention, a significant improvement was observed: respondents with good knowledge increased to 47.7%, while those with poor knowledge decreased to 11.4%. Conclusion: Peer group- and video-based educational activities proved effective in enhancing WRA’s knowledge and awareness regarding the importance of early cancer detection. This educational model is recommended for broader implementation as a promotive and preventive strategy in women’s cancer prevention.

Abstract

Pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling memiliki peranan penting dalam mengembangkan potensi siswa di sekolah. Salah satu faktor penting yang menentukan keberhasilan proses konseling adalah kemampuan konselor dalam menerapkan sikap dan pendekatan yang tepat, salah satunya sikap lemah lembut. Konsep lemah lembut ini sebenarnya telah digariskan dalam Al-Qur'an Surah Ali Imran ayat 159 yang menekankan pentingnya berlaku lemah lembut, pemaaf, bermusyawarah, dan bertawakkal dalam menangani suatu permasalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi sikap lemah lembut berdasarkan nilai-nilai Surah Ali Imran ayat 159 dalam praktik layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumen yang melibatkan 4 orang guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dari 4 sekolah menengah atas di Kabupaten Sijunjung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konselor memahami pentingnya bersikap lemah lembut dan menerapkannya melalui penggunaan bahasa yang santun, menunjukkan empati dan kepedulian, bersikap sabar, menghargai pendapat siswa, serta menjalin hubungan secara bertahap. Implementasi sikap lemah lembut terbukti membawa manfaat positif seperti meningkatkan keterbukaan dan kepercayaan siswa, menciptakan hubungan yang lebih dekat dan penuh kehangatan, serta membuat siswa lebih kooperatif. Penelitian ini menegaskan relevansi nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an, khususnya sikap lemah lembut, untuk diimplementasikan dalam praktik bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah.

Abstract

Waste is one of the problems experienced by people in various parts of the world, and Indonesia is no exception. In Tanjungpinang City, there are several piles of garbage from household production and building waste found on the roadside that do not occur at just one point and are increasingly unstoppable and new points always appear. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the implementation of government policies based on Tanjungpinang City Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2015 concerning Waste Management in overcoming the problem of waste on the outskirts of city roads. This research uses empirical normative research, which is based on real objects with data collection. In dealing with waste problems, the city government has made regulations and also imposed sanctions on those who violate them. Handling facilities have also been provided so that people are aware not to litter. All waste management procedures contained in this regional regulation can be implemented properly and precisely if the coordination between the parties involved in the field of cleanliness can run well. Cooperation between government agencies and the community is needed so that waste problems can be overcome in an integrated manner. Sampah adalah satu dari banyak permasalahan yang dialami oleh masyarakat di berbagai belahan dunia, tidak terkecuali Indonesia. Di Kota Tanjungpinang, terdapat beberapa titik tumpukan sampah dari produksi rumah tangga maupun sampah sisa bangunan yang terdapat di pinggiran jalan yang tidak terjadi di salah satu titik saja dan semakin tidak bisa dibendung serta selalu saja muncul titik baru. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi kebijakan pemerintah berdasarkan Peraturan Daerah Kota Tanjungpinang Nomor 3 Tahun 2015 Tentang Pengelolaan Persampahan dalam mengatasi permasalahan sampah di pinggiran jalan kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian normatif empiris, yang didasarkan pada objek nyata dengan pengumpulan data. Dalam menangani permasalahan sampah, pemerintah kota telah membuat peraturan dan juga penerapan sanksi terhadap mereka yang melanggar. Fasiltas penanganan juga telah disediakan agar masyarakat sadar untuk tidak membuang sampah sembarangan. Segala tata cara pengolahan sampah yang terdapat di dalam perturan daerah ini bisa dilaksanakan dengan baik dan tepat  jika kordinasi antara para pihak yang terkait dalam bidang kebersihan dapat berjalan dengan baik. Diperlukan adanya kerjasama antara lembaga pemerintahan dan masyarakat agar permasalahan sampah bisa diatasi secara terpadu.

Abstract

Pengembangan usaha kolang-kaling di Desa Tabo-Tabo, Kabupaten Pangkep, memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan produksi, diversifikasi produk, dan pemasaran kolang-kaling melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi masalah, pelatihan teknis, pengolahan kolang-kaling, dan pemasaran digital. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan produksi dari 50 kilogram menjadi 75-100 kilogram per minggu, serta diversifikasi produk seperti manisan dan kolang-kaling dalam kemasan kaleng. Selain itu, pendapatan masyarakat meningkat sebesar 20-30% melalui penjualan produk olahan. Masyarakat juga mendapatkan keterampilan baru dalam pengolahan dan pemasaran melalui platform digital. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti akses pasar dan keberlanjutan lingkungan, pengembangan usaha kolang-kaling di Desa Tabo-Tabo terbukti memberikan dampak positif dan berpotensi untuk terus berkembang. Dukungan dari pemerintah dan kerjasama dengan stakeholder lain diperlukan untuk memperluas pasar dan menjamin keberlanjutan usaha ini. Kata kunci: Pengembangan Usaha, Pemasaran, Diversifikasi Produk, Peningkatan Pendapatan
