Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation on teacher job satisfaction at SDN Tireman Rembang. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 teachers at SDN Tireman, which measured the work motivation and job satisfaction variables using a Likert scale. The results of statistical analysis show that work motivation has a significant influence on teacher job satisfaction. The higher the work motivation of teachers, the higher the level of job satisfaction they experience. Both variables are positively related, both partially and simultaneously. The work motivation of teachers at SDN Tireman Rembang is in the high category, with an average score of 4.14, while teacher job satisfaction is also in the high category with an average score of 4.22. These findings indicate that the teachers at the school have high work enthusiasm and good job satisfaction in carrying out their duties as educators. Therefore, the school and policymakers need to continuously strive to maintain and improve teachers' work motivation, such as through rewards, professional development, improved facilities, and creating a harmonious work environment. In this way, teacher job satisfaction can be continuously improved, which will ultimately have a positive impact on the quality of education at the school.

Abstract

The implementation of the Child Protection Act in schools has had a significant impact on disciplinary practices. This policy encourages schools to exercise greater caution in imposing sanctions, especially those involving physical and verbal actions that could be categorized as violence. The background of this study is the emerging dilemma faced by teachers in balancing the enforcement of school regulations while avoiding legal violations, resulting in anxiety when taking disciplinary action and increasing conflicts such as parental protests and reports to authorities. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Child Protection Act on school disciplinary practices and offer resolution strategies. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, using in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies conducted in several primary and secondary schools. The results show that the implementation of the law has created an imbalance between teacher authority and children's rights, complicating classroom management dynamics. Many schools have subsequently revised their codes of conduct to align with child protection principles. The study concludes that there is a need for discipline approaches based on guidance and respect for children's rights, intensive teacher training in positive discipline, and the development of additional regulations that proportionally protect the role of educators. Collaboration among teachers, parents, and policymakers is crucial to establishing a disciplinary system that is fair, educational, and consistent with the protection of children's rights.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the induction program for teachers and school principals at SD Negeri Temperak in improving performance and educational professionalism. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the induction program has been effective in helping new teachers and school principals adapt to their work environment. New teachers who participated in this program experienced increased self-confidence and teaching skills, enabling them to deliver more optimal lessons to students. On the other hand, new school principals gained a better understanding of school management and leadership, which contributed to the improvement of overall school management effectiveness. However, the implementation of the induction program at SD Negeri Temperak still faces several challenges, such as the lack of experienced mentors, limited time, and minimal support from the local government. To address these challenges, this study suggests several strategies, including specialized training for mentors, the use of online learning platforms, more flexible mentoring schedules, and increased collaboration with the local education office to gain better policy and budget support. By implementing these strategies, it is expected that the induction program can run more effectively and sustainably, ultimately improving the quality of education at SD Negeri Temperak.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the principle of accountability is applied in financing extracurricular scouting and dance activities at SD Negeri 1 Ketileng Todanan, Blora, and to identify factors that support or hinder the implementation of the principle. This study uses a field method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data analysis process includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the principle of accountability in financing scouting and dance activities at the school has been carried out well. All stages from planning, implementation, to financial reporting are carried out transparently, accountably, and involve various parties such as schools, committees, and parents of students. Factors that support the implementation of accountability include the existence of clear goals and objectives, a strong institutional structure, targeted policies, and detailed and appropriate planning. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced include a lack of understanding of accountability, the absence of competent administrative staff in financial management, and low participation from the School Committee and parents of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian budaya sekolah disiplin positif serta bagaimana pengorganisasian budaya sekolah disiplin positif dalam program pengelolaan sekolah berbasis keterampilan abad 21 di SMP Negeri 2 Mranggen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan budaya sekolah disiplin positif dilakukan melalui penyusunan kebijakan yang melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan. Pengorganisasian melibatkan pembagian tugas yang jelas antara kepala sekolah, guru, dan staf dalam mendukung implementasi budaya disiplin positif. Pelaksanaan budaya sekolah disiplin positif diwujudkan melalui program rutin, pembiasaan nilai-nilai positif, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam mendukung keterampilan abad 21. Pengendalian dilakukan melalui evaluasi berkala dan umpan balik dari berbagai pihak untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa budaya sekolah disiplin positif yang terorganisir dengan baik dapat memperkuat pengelolaan sekolah berbasis keterampilan abad 21. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar sekolah terus mengembangkan strategi inovatif dalam menanamkan budaya disiplin positif guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang adaptif terhadap tuntutan zaman.

Abstract

This study discusses the principal's managerial skills in improving the pedagogical competence of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Sukorejo, Kendal Regency. The background of the research is the continuous improvement of teacher pedagogical competence in the Education Report at SMA Negeri 1 Sukorejo from 2022 to 2024. This achievement is estimated to be due to the principal's managerial skills. The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection uses interviews, observations and documentation. Informants are determined purposively, data was obtained through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is tested through triangulation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the principal of SMA Negeri 1 Sukorejo uses conceptual skills to improve teacher competence by understanding the concept of pedagogical competence. The principal develops strategies, through training, workshops, monitoring, observation, and involving competent resource persons. The policies taken include providing facilities, giving awards, and collaborating with other educational institutions. The principal recognizes opportunities and problems related to teacher pedagogical competence through needs analysis and routine evaluation. The principal improves teacher competence by applying human relations skills, such as building good communication, providing assistance and guidance as needed, motivating and inspiring teachers, and involving various parties in decision making related to training. In addition, the principal also uses technical skills by directing teachers in preparing learning designs, creating a comfortable and conducive classroom environment, conducting learning evaluations appropriately, and managing facilities and infrastructure in a structured manner. Teacher direction and coaching through mentoring are also carried out to ensure that the quality of learning is maintained. The conclusion of this study, the principal of SMA Negeri 1 Sukorejo applies conceptual skills, human relations skills and technical skills in improving teacher pedagogical competence. The author provides suggestions for the principal to improve monitoring and observation of the implementation of teacher pedagogical competence through academic supervision at least twice in each semester.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of school partnerships with external parties as a strategy for improving the quality of education, particularly in Islamic schools that uphold the values of ukhuwah and cooperation. The objective is to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes of partnerships aimed at supporting holistic educational quality improvement, encompassing academic, moral, and spiritual aspects. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that schools implement partnerships systematically: planning includes setting objectives, identifying programs, drafting cooperation agreements, and socialization; implementation involves various partners in the areas of health, safety, academics, and Islamic character building; evaluation is carried out through evaluation planning, monitoring obstacles, drafting recommendations, and preparing reports. However, documentation of evaluation results still needs to be improved. This study concludes that structured partnerships, aligned with the principles of mutual cooperation and Islamic values, and evaluated on a regular basis, can serve as an effective strategy to enhance the quality of Islamic education and are worthy of replication while considering local contexts.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian 1) mengetahui perencanaan digitalisasi kinerja sumber daya guru  yang memengaruhi efektivitas perencanaan dan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan, 2) mengetahui digitalisasi pengembangan profesional sumber daya guru, 3) mengetahui evaluasi digitalisasi dalam penilaian kinerja sumber daya guru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian berlokasi di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Prampelan 1 Kecamatan Sayung Kabupaten Dema pada bulan Mei - Juli 2025. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) perencanaan digitalisasi kinerja sumber daya guru memengaruhi efektivitas perencanaan dan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan meliputi a) analisis kebutuhan sekolah; b) Pembentukan tim; c) Perencanaan anggaran; d) Perencanaan sumberdaya manusia; e). perencanaan anggaran; f). perencanaan RKJM, RKT, RKAS. (2) pelaksanaan digitalisasi diantaranya a) Kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis digital; b) penggunaan media digital seperti aplikasi WhatsApp, jaringan wifi dan proyektor serta laptop. c) pemanfaatan digital untuk tugas siswa dengan mengembangkan materi dan menjawab soal-soal dari guru yang diselesaikan secara mandiri. (3) evaluasi dan pengawasan digitalisasi dalam penilaian kinerja sumber daya guru diantaranya meliputi pengawasan internal dilakukan kepala sekolah dan pengawas, kemudian pengawasan eksternal dilakukan komite sekolah, dilihat dari teknis pengawasan dilakukan dengan dua pendekatan yaitu pengawasan langsung yang bersifat teknis dan pengawasan tidak langsung dalam bentuk laporan. Selain itu pengawasan 1) standar penilaian; 2) asesmen; 3) hasil penilaian berupa rapot projek; 4) tindak lanjut dari kegiatan project.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Rumusan masalah penelitian 1) adakah pengaruh yang signifikan gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja guru di SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Batang; 2) adakah pengaruh yang signifikan budaya kerja terhadap motivasi kerja guru di SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Batang; 3) adakah pengaruh yang signifikan gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan budaya kerja terhadap motivasi kerja guru di SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Batang.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Uji instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji prasyarat meliputi uji normalitas, linieritas, uji heteroksidasitas, dan uji hipotesis meliputi uji korelasi, uji dimensi dan uji regresi sederhana dan ganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Batang, berdasarkan nilai F-hitung 541,181 Ftabel 3,98 dan nilai sig 0,000 0,05 dengan nilai korelasi 0,928. menunjukkan bahwa antara gaya kepemimpinan dengan motivasi kerja guru memiliki keeratan hubungan yang kuat. Gaya kepemimpinan memiliki kontribusi pengaruh 86,2% terhadap motivasi kerja guru.2)                          Budaya kerja berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Batang, memiliki keeratan hubungan yang sangat kuat. Hasil koefisien determinasi 0,885. menunjukkan budaya kerja memiliki kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 88,5%. 3) Secara bersama-sama gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya kerja berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja guru SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Batang, dengan nilai korelasi 0,956 menunjukkan bahwa antara gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya kerja secara bersama-sama dengan motivasi kerja guru memiliki keeratan hubungan sangat kuat. Hasil koefisien determinasi 0,913 menunjukkan gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya kerja secara bersama-sama memiliki kontribusi pengaruh 91,3% terhadap motivasi kerja guru.Kesimpulan: terdapat pengaruh signifikan gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan budaya kerja terhadap motivasi kerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri Se-Kabupaten Batang. Saran: para pemangku kebijakan perlu meningkatkan secara bersama sama gaya kepemimpinan dan budaya kerja untuk dapat mendorong  motivasi kerja guru. Kata Kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan, Budaya Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja Guru

Abstract

This study is motivated by issues in teachers’ pedagogical competence, which directly affect the quality of learning. Pedagogical competence is a key ability in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning, yet many teachers still face challenges in its application. Two factors presumed to influence pedagogical competence are principals’ transformational leadership and work culture. The objectives of this study are to examine: (1) the effect of principals’ transformational leadership on teachers’ pedagogical competence, (2) the effect of work culture on teachers’ pedagogical competence, and (3) the simultaneous effect of both factors on the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Pabelan District, Semarang Regency. The research employed a quantitative correlational design. The population consisted of 193 elementary school teachers, with a sample of 130 teachers selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, and analyzed using classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, and multiple regression. The results revealed that (1) transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on pedagogical competence (t = 10.909 > t-table = 1.978) with a contribution of 48.20% (moderate category); (2) work culture also has a significant positive effect (t = 10.181 > t-table = 1.978) with a contribution of 44.70% (moderate category); and (3) multiple regression analysis confirmed that both variables jointly influence pedagogical competence, contributing 60% (strong category). These findings emphasize that optimal transformational leadership and a solid work culture can significantly enhance teachers’ pedagogical competence.
