Teacher's teaching skill is the most important indicator in creating successful learning. These teaching skills need to be supported by learning tools so that the learning carried out can be carried out in accordance with the expected goals. These learning tools include the Learning Implementation Plan and Teaching Materials. The teacher before carrying out learning needs to prepare both of these things. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of planning skills and skills on developing teaching materials on teachers' teaching skills. This research uses quantitative research methods using causal associative research, namely research that seeks the influence of one variable (independent) with other variables (dependent). The sample selection technique uses purposive sampling. The number of samples obtained were 32 students. The data analysis method uses SPSS with the Multiple Regression analysis method. The results of the study indicate that planning skills and the ability to create instructional materials have a significant impact on teaching abilities. In addition, planning skills have a significant impact on teaching abilities, whereas developing instructional materials does not. Based on these conclusions, a teacher needs to have skills in planning learning according to the learning model chosen before carrying out learning in class. In addition, to support the learning process, teachers need to prepare teaching materials in the form of teaching materials.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in learning having turned into online distance learning. The learning is dominated by independent learning, even though the ability to socialize and work in teams is needed at this time. Collaborating is one of the skills needed in the 21st century. Students' opinions differ, because the rapid development of education or internet access does not guarantee the quality of education and student satisfaction. Based on this explanation, the purpose of this study was to determine student responses regarding group learning in online distance learning. This research is a descriptive research using survey method. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet. The number of respondents who filled out the questionnaire was 484 students. Questionnaire data were analyzed by describing the findings obtained which were described through descriptive statistics. The results showed that students gave a positive response to implementing group learning during online distance learning, for the following reasons: the task was carried out more easily; can get help when experiencing difficulties; can discuss by expressing opinions; can share ideas with group members, etc. However, there are also some weaknesses in this learning, such as the role of group members; domination that works unevenly; talk a lot, etc.

The type of research used is descriptive. The research subject for lecturers in listening skills courses and students studying listening skills material in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program, Padang State University. The instruments used to collect data were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and listening skills test sheets. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the preliminary research are: 1) The average score of students’ listening skills is still low so it needs to be improved. 2) The results of observations regarding the use of modules are still not utilized optimally, 3) The results of observations of digital teaching materials used by lecturers based on the LMS (Learning Management System) display conclude that not all lecturers use digital materials in the LMS, and 4) Results of student response questionnaires agree with the development of digital materials in the Learning Management System so that student learning outcomes improve. Based on the results of this preliminary study, it can be concluded that the modules currently used by lecturers in listening skills courses still need to be developed. Creating instructional materials is an essential responsibility for educators during the process of teaching and learning. Prospective instructors can learn skills in compiling instructional materials during their undergraduate studies. This technique entails the utilization of students' writing proficiency and autonomous capabilities in developing inventive instructional resources. The CANVA program is a useful tool for creating educational materials. Presently, higher education can be pursued through both traditional in-person instruction and online platforms. This project employs the Online Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) technique and utilizes e-learning tools to generate Indonesian language teaching materials for Foreign Speakers (BIPA). The research is to examine the influence of Online Self-Regulated Learning on the proficiency in creating BIPA teaching materials using the Canva application among aspiring Indonesian language instructors at Padang State University. This research employed experimental methodologies and quasi-experimental designs, specifically utilizing a posttest only control design. The group under study comprises students enrolled in the 2020 cohort of the PBSI Study Program. Purposive sampling strategies were employed to choose two classes as samples for this investigation. The research instrument is an assessment tool. The data analysis process included conducting normality and homogeneity tests on the data, followed by performing the Independent Sample T Test. The results indicated that the data did not follow a normal distribution, thus it was analyzed using Mann U Whitney non-parametric statistics. The test results indicate a notable disparity in the mean learning outcomes between students who employ the Online Self-Regulated Learning technique to create BIPA teaching materials using the Canva application, and students who utilize the assignment method.

The ability to think critically is an important skill today, especially in facing the era of development of knowledge and technology in the 21st century. With this ability, students can analyze the truth of information both heard and read. However, this skill is still in a low level category so efforts are needed to improve it. One effort is to use innovative learning methods that can improve students' critical skills, namely the debate method. The aim of this research is to evaluate the level of critical thinking skills of BSA Study Program students, test the effectiveness of the debate, and provide academic suggestions for study programs and lecturers to improve the quality of learning that focuses on developing BSA students' critical thinking skills. This research method uses an experimental method. The subject of this research is the BSA Study Program, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. This research data consists of two things, namely students' skills during debate and students' critical thinking abilities which were tested through tests. This research concludes that the debate method is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills and students' ability to build arguments, which can be achieved through structured and theory-based exercises. These findings can be widely used to train students' critical thinking skills and as a learning strategy in class by lecturers.

To make learning more interesting and improve student learning outcomes, innovation is needed in the learning process. One way that can be done is by using innovative learning models that are appropriate to the material being taught, such as the Non-Example Model in science learning. This research aims to evaluate the improvement in science learning outcomes regarding style using the example non example model in class IV students at SDN 13 Balai Kurai Taji in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research method used is Classroom Action Research by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 18 grade IV students, with 9 male and female students each. Data is collected through observations and tests, then analyzed to reach conclusions. The results of the research showed an increase in the initial average score of 62.78 with 28% completeness, after completing cycle I it increased to an average student score of 70.28 with 56% completeness. Then in Cycle II it increased significantly to 85 with a completion rate of 89%.
