Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effects of patient safety culture and clinical leadership capacity on nurses’ incident reporting compliance, with teamwork tested as a mediating mechanism. Research methodology: A census survey was conducted among 204 nurses at Sentra Medika Hospital Cikarang. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire comprising 18 validated indicators and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results: The results indicate that patient safety culture has a significant positive effect on both incident reporting compliance and teamwork. Clinical leadership capacity also demonstrates significant positive effects on teamwork and reporting compliance. Notably, teamwork shows a significant negative direct effect on incident reporting compliance, suggesting a preference for informal, team-based problem resolution that may substitute for formal reporting processes. However, teamwork significantly mediates the relationships between patient safety culture, clinical leadership capacity, and reporting compliance. Conclusions: The findings highlight a paradoxical role of teamwork in patient safety. While collaborative environments are essential, they must be strategically aligned with non-punitive and transparent reporting systems. Strengthening patient safety culture and clinical leadership, while institutionalizing team practices that reinforce formal reporting, is essential to enhance sustainable patient safety performance. Limitations: The study is limited to a specific hospital setting and may not be generalizable to all healthcare environments. Additionally, the study relies on self-reported data, which may introduce bias. Contributions: This study contributes to the understanding of how patient safety culture, clinical leadership capacity, and teamwork interact to influence incident reporting compliance in hospitals, emphasizing the need for a balanced approach that integrates both formal reporting systems and collaborative team practices.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is a crucial factor in determining the quality of the midwife-patient relationship. Effective communication in midwifery services can enhance patient comfort, trust, and satisfaction. This study aimed to determine the relationship between midwives' interpersonal communication and patient satisfaction with midwifery services at Community Health Center X. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. Sectional. The population in this study were all patients who received obstetric services at Community Health Center X during May–July 2025, totaling 80 people. The sample was taken using an accidental sampling technique of 67 respondents. The instruments used were a midwife interpersonal communication questionnaire (15 items) and a patient satisfaction questionnaire (15 items) that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the Chi- Square statistical test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the majority of respondents rated midwives' interpersonal communication as good (71.6%) and patient satisfaction as satisfactory (68.7%). The Chi- Square test yielded a p-value of 0.002 (<0.05), indicating a significant relationship between midwives' interpersonal communication and patient satisfaction with midwifery services. In conclusion, the better the interpersonal communication skills developed by midwives, the higher the patient satisfaction levels. Therefore, improving midwives' interpersonal communication skills through training and coaching should be a priority in efforts to improve the quality of midwifery services.

Abstract

The police code of ethics is regulated in the Chief of Police Regulation (Perkap) No. 14 of 2011, namely Personality Ethics; is the moral attitude of Polri members towards their profession based on the call of worship as religious people, State Ethics; is the moral attitude of Polri members who uphold the ideological and constitutional foundations of the Republic of Indonesia, namely Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and Institutional Ethics; is the moral attitude of Polri members towards the institution which is a place of devotion and should be upheld as a physical and spiritual bond of all Bhayangkara people with all their dignity and honor. But in reality, many police officers commit violations, especially serious violations, such as domestic violence, LGBT, sexual harassment, violence and other criminal acts. Therefore, this encourages the author to analyzethe sanctions for violators of the serious code of ethics in the Police. The research method used is empirical normative, namely juxtaposing the rules with the facts in the field, and the normative juridical method, namely the library approach method by studying statutory books and other legal scientific works. This legal research found that the application of sanctions for serious violators of the code of ethics must go through procedures that have been determined in the code of ethics regulations.

Abstract

The "wen" welding workshop business does welding with bad work postures that cause muscle injury (Musculoskeletal Disorders). For this reason, it is necessary to design a work facility for an efficient welding process. The Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire was used to find out which body parts had complaints that they were not sick, enough pain, illness and evaluation using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method to become an input to improve the operator's work posture to be better. The design of welding facilities is carried out using the Design For Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) method because it can evaluate the costs and material of new design facilities with pre-existing design facilities in the testing phase. The design results are in the form of a workbench that has a footrest, a welding wire, a material laying place, a bow and vise in a facility, based on testing the lower the REBA score results so that the work posture is better, the facility can be used to weld all products to the workshop weld and efficiency compared to the previous tool at 35%.
