Abstract

The study was conducted in Ranto Peureulak District, East Aceh Regency from October-November 2021. This study aims to of this study was to analyze the income of rainfed lowland rice farmers and analyze the contribution of rainfed lowland rice farming to household income in Ranto Peureulak District, East Aceh Regency. the object of research is carried out intentionally (purposively). The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The type of data used consists of descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative approaches. The results of this study indicate that the average income of rainfed lowland rice farming in Ranto Peureulak District, East Aceh Regency for per self-owned land area is IDR 2,724,930.7.00 for per arable land area of ​​IDR 1,871,354.6, 00 and per area of ​​leased land. amounting to IDR 217,000.2.00 per hectare. Rainfed lowland rice farming contributes to the household income of farmers with own land status by 34.5%, for smallholders by 40.1% and for tenant farmers by 6.7%.

Abstract

This study aims to make and test the Physical Quality Test of Centtella asiatica (L) extract of Centtella asiatica (L) in cream dosage forms with 0.5% and 1% extract concentrations. The type of research carried out is a laboratory experimental research by making Centella asiatica (L) herbal cream and testing the physical quality of the cream by conducting organoleptic, homogeneity, pH and dispersibility tests. The results of the observation of the pH test at a concentration of 0.5% is 6.13, a concentration of 1% is 6.47 while the dispersion test at a concentration of 0.5% is 5.1 cm, and a concentration of 1% is 5.2 cm. The results of the research on making and testing the physical quality of the cream of gotu kola herb extract 0.5% and 1% met the requirements for the physical quality test of cream preparations.

Abstract

PT Suryagita Nusaraya is a company engaged in the field of courier services in Surabaya. Since it is a good company that has qualified employees, it continuously makes efforts for the improvement of the welfare and advancement of employees. Judging from the current phenomena, there are number of employees who violate the rules that have been set by the management of PT Suryagita Nusaraya including: not punctual, often being absence, and leaving the company during working hours. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that most affect the job satisfaction of employees of PT Suryagita Nusaraya using multiple linear method. The independent variables used are work (X1), status (X2), boss (X3), colleagues (X4), and promotion (X5), while the dependent variable is employee satisfaction (Y). Here, the method used in this research is multiple linear regression. Based on statistical data analysis, the indicators in this study are valid and are reliable variables. In the classic assumption test, the regression of multicolinierity free model, there is no heteroskedastisitas for the data and it has normal distribution. The sequence of the most influential variables individually are as follows: status (X1) with a regression coefficient of 1.095, boss (X2) with a regression coefficient of 0.644, job (X3) with a regression coefficient of 0.084, and colleagues (X4) with a regression coefficient of 0.019, while the lowest influential variable is sale (X5) with a regression coefficient of - 0.066. Abstract

Retinal detachment is a disease of decreased vision due to the separation of the retinal cone cells and rod cells from the retinal epithelial cells.  The most common response in preoperative patients is anxiety.  Preoperative anxiety can cause palpitations, palpitations, feeling like fainting, increased blood pressure, and increased pulse pressure.  The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of providing preoperative education on anxiety in preoperative retinal detachment patients at Undaan Eye Hospital, Surabaya.  The research design was a quasi-experimental study with a one group pre-test – post-test design approach.  The results showed that the patient's anxiety level before being educated was half of the respondents with severe anxiety, the anxiety level after being educated was almost half of the respondents who had no anxiety and mild anxiety.  Based on SPSS calculations using the dependent sample t-test, the value of p = 0.000 (<0.05) is obtained at the sig.(2.tailed) value.  So, there is a difference in the level of anxiety before and after being given education to preoperative retinal detachment patients at the Undaan Eye Hospital, Surabaya.  This means that the education given to preoperative retinal detachment patients is effective in reducing anxiety levels.  The conclusion of this research is that there is effectiveness in providing education on anxiety levels at the Mata Undaan Hospital, Surabaya.

Abstract

Iris inflammation can occur in post cataract surgery patients due to lack of adherence to post cataract surgery care. With the occurrence of inflammation of the iris will cause discomfort to patients with complaints of redness of the eyes, blurred vision, and pain in the eyes. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between eye care adherence and iris inflammation in postoperative phacoemulsification patients at Undaan Eye Hospital Surabaya. The study used an analytical survey design with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study was 80 people who were examined on the seventh day after Phacoemulsification surgery taken by purposive sampling. The independent variable in this study was eye care compliance and the dependent variable was the incidence of iris inflammation. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires. Data analysis using chi-square test. The results showed that the level of adherence to eye care in post-phacoemulsification patients was mostly very compliant with 60 respondents (75%), a small proportion of respondents experienced inflammation as many as 19 respondents (23.8%). The results of data analysis using the chi square test was 57.728 with a p value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a relationship between eye care compliance and the incidence of iris inflammation in post-operative phacoemulsification patients. The conclusion is that the success of cataract treatment cannot be separated from postoperative care. Postoperative care adherence is an important factor in the success of cataract surgery recovery. It is hoped that this research can motivate nurses to always provide education to be more obedient to postoperative phacoemulsification care and patients care about health, especially compliance in postoperative phacoemulsification care.

Abstract

Leprosy (Leprosy) is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae. This disease primarily affects the skin, peripheral nerves, and eyes. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about leprosy (leprosy) and self care agency in leprosy patients at the leprosy clinic, Daha Husada Hospital, Kediri. The research design used was analytical observational with a cross sectional approach. The population is all leprosy patients in the leprosy polyclinic as many as 80 respondents taken by cluster random sampling The independent variable is self care agency and the dependent variable is the level of knowledge. Data collection using a questionnaire and observation with an ordinal scale, analysis using the Rho sperm test with alpha <0.05. The results of the study from 40 respondents showed that almost all of the knowledge levels were lacking as many as 21 respondents (62.5%) had less self-care agencies, and a small part of the respondents who had sufficient knowledge levels as many as 6 Respondents (3.7%) had self-care for the good one. The results of the analysis using the Spearman Rho test obtained a p-value = 0.003 at a significant level ( α ) = 0.05, with a correlation = 0.986 and, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge levels and Self Care Agency in leprosy patients.The conclusion is the lower the level of patient knowledge, the less ability of leprosy patients in self care agencies. The higher the level of knowledge about leprosy, the better the self care agency.

Abstract

The children’s dental hygiene is an effort of parents to keep the children’s teeth healthy and run its functions normally. The hygienic teeth was clean and no porous. The dental care was important, since some dental problems caused by unclean teeth such as dental plaque, dental caries, gum infection and dental porous. So the health education is very important. The design of this research was comparative analysis with pe-pascates approach in a group (One-group pre-test post-test design), the population was all parents of PAUD Lentera Alam Campurdarat Villlage Tulungagung Sub District, 40 respondents were taken a samples by total sampling technique. The independent variable was the health education about dental hygiene and the dependent one was the parents’ behavior to care the pre-school children’s dental hygiene. The data was obtained from questionnaires, analyzed with “Willcoxon Signed Rank Test” with Mean value p < 0,05. The research result was 29 respondents (73%) had good behavior, and there was an effect of health education about dental hygiene towards the parents’ behavior to care the pre-school children’s dental hygiene, (Willcoxon Signed Rank Test, p value 0.000 < 0.05, and then H0 was rejected). The conclusion was the health education in this research could changes the respondent’s’ behavior to care the pre-school children’s dental hygiene at present and in the future.

Abstract

In the context of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the introduction of new technology, workplace safety has become a crucial aspect, especially in the manufacturing sector. In facing these challenges, it is important for the manufacturing industry to integrate proactive and integrated safety strategies. Employee safety and welfare is not only a moral responsibility, but also reflects the company's commitment to protecting human assets, in accordance with the values and principles of the 1945 Constitution. This research aims to provide a systematic, factual and accurate picture of strategy implementation safety management at PT Denso Indonesia in achieving Zero Accident, in line with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 1970 concerning Work Safety. The research results highlight that most work processes at PT Denso Indonesia have a high level of risk, however, the company has adopted safety management strategies to prevent accidents that are detrimental to employees and the company. In implementing this strategy, PT Denso Indonesia prioritizes national values by considering the principles of the 1945 Constitution. Efforts such as Safety Dojo and SCW are used to improve safety, while technology such as PIR sensors are also applied to prevent accidents. Success in achieving Zero Accident is influenced by consistency, employee participation, and strategy integration into a company culture that is based on national values. Thus, safety in the workplace is not only a goal, but also reflects the spirit of harmony between the interests of the company, employees and the nation, in accordance with the principles of the 1945 Constitution.

Abstract

Pendahuluan : Kualitas suatu pelayanan di Rumah Sakit salah satunya akan tergantung dari ketersediaan dan kecakapan sumber daya manusia suatu instansi. Pembelajaran klinik penting dilakukan dalam Pendidikan profesi. Pencapaian kompetensi mahasiswa Rekam medis dan informasi kesehatan dalam pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Praktik Klinik di Rumah Sakit akan bergantung dari pembelajaran yang diterima di tempat praktik dan pembimbing praktiknya. Namun, masih banyak dari rumah sakit atau lahan praktik yang belum berupaya untuk memenuhi tenaga Instruktur Klinik terlatih, hal inilah yang mendorong pentingnya pembahasan peran CI dalam pelatihan Instruktur Klinik saat ini. Metode : Metode pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan beberapa tahap yakni, identifikasi kebutuhan kompetensi Instruktur Klinik melalui wawancara dan review materi Manajemen Rekam Medis dilanjutkan dengan penyusunan modul pelatihan Instruktur Klinik beserta dengan perancangan sistem pelatihan. Sasaran : Sasaran pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah petugas rekam medis yang ditugaskan oleh Rumah Sakit sebagai instruktur klinik atau pembimbing mahasiswa pada saat melaksanakan Praktik Klinik sebanyak 15 orang. Pelaksanaan : Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap kegiatan yakni, penggalian masalah pada saat proses penilaian pencapaian kompetensi mahasiswa praktik, penentuan materi, pelaksanaan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 kali dan evaluasi yang dilakukan melalui pre test dan post test. Hasil Pre test dan Post test mengalami kenaikan yakni rata-rata pada saat pre test yaitu 59,75 dan rata-rata saat post test 84,25. Hasil evaluasi pelaksanaan pelatihan dengan menggunakan skala 4. Pelaksanaan pelatihan nilai rata-rata 3,34,. Kesimpulan : Pelaksanaan pelatihan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan petugas rekam medis sebagai Clinical Instructure (CI) pada penyelenggaraan mahasiswa praktik di Rumah Sakit.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas metode discovery learning dan media poster pada pembelajaran teks deskripsi. Teks yang kerap dianggap remeh, tetapi tidak sedikit peserta didik di kelas VIIC SMP Negeri 7 Jakarta yang justru menyalahartikan teks deskripsi sebagai teks cerita. Setelah diberikan pengantar mengenai makna teks deskripsi, peserta didik akan dituntut untuk belajar aktif dalam menulis teks deskripsi. Pada prosesnya, media poster akan berperan sebagai stimulus dalam pembelajaran dengan metode discovery learning ini. Tiga hal yang akan diamati pada penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran, peningkatan keterampilan menulis, dan perubahan perilaku peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode discovery learning berbantuan media poster. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dapat mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan metode discovery learning berbantuan media poster. Terdapat pula peningkatan nilai peserta didik pada ketiga siklus. Keaktifan peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran pun meningkat. Adanya peningkatan baik keterampilan maupun sikap peserta didik yang signifikan pada proses pembelajaran melalui metode discovery learning dan media poster menunjukkan nilai efektivitas yang tinggi.
