Abstract

The implementation of cultural literacy in elementary schools still tends to be content-centric and has not been systematically integrated into digital instructional design, particularly in the context of Dayak culture in Central Kalimantan. This study aims to develop a Mahilung Mobile Learning instructional design based on the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) as an ethno-edugames framework in strengthening Dayak cultural literacy in elementary school students. The study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a mixed-methods design. The definition stage includes needs analysis, student characteristics, and curriculum review to identify Dayak cultural values relevant to Theme 8 "Our Friendly Environment." The design stage includes mapping cultural values into learning objectives, game mechanics, and assessment components. The development stage is carried out through the development of an Android-based application prototype that can be accessed offline, equipped with interactive audio-visual materials, exercises, and ten mini-games based on true-false validation with a scoring system as part of the gamification strategy. Expert validation and limited trials were conducted to refine the design. Qualitative data were analyzed thematically, while quantitative data were analyzed using Likert scores to assess feasibility and user response. The results of the study produced a processual ethno-edugames design framework that structurally integrates Dayak cultural values into digital game-based learning. This research contributes to the development of a contextual, adaptive, and applicable culture-based instructional design model in primary education.

Abstract

Abstract

Informal waste pickers are key actors in the urban recycling system; however, their access to healthcare remains unequal. This study explores the gap in access to and experiences of healthcare services between waste pickers and waste business owners/managers in Makassar, Indonesia. A comparative qualitative approach was used through in-depth interviews with 15 waste pickers, 10 business owners/managers, and 5 health workers, complemented by observations at the Antang temporary waste disposal site (TPS) and three nearby community health centers (Puskesmas). The findings indicate that inequalities are shaped by the interaction of economic, symbolic, and institutional factors. Waste pickers face unstable daily incomes, indirect costs of seeking treatment, limited administrative and digital literacy, longer waiting times, and the stigma associated with "dirty work," which can deter them from seeking care. In contrast, business owners/managers have stronger economic resources and better administrative capacity, facilitating access to services and more effective utilization of the BPJS Kesehatan (Social Security Agency) system. Despite the implementation of the National Health Insurance (JKN) digital system, many waste pickers lack adequate devices or sufficient information, and therefore continue to rely on manual record-keeping. This study shows that formal universal health insurance does not automatically translate into equitable access for informal workers. The study recommends the development of a hybrid service model (digital and in-person), simplification of administrative procedures, and a service approach that is more sensitive to stigma and waste pickers' working conditions.

Abstract

Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Menganalisis Isu-Isu Pembangunan Kesehatan Berkeadilan Di Indonesia Melalui Pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) Dengan Perspektif Sosiologi Pembangunan. Data Penelitian Diperoleh Dari 20 Artikel Ilmiah Bereputasi Internasional Yang Diseleksi Secara Sistematis Menggunakan Protokol PRISMA. Analisis Dilakukan Melalui Pendekatan Tematik, Teoretis, Dan Sintesis Konseptual Untuk Mengidentifikasi Pola Ketimpangan Serta Faktor-Faktor Yang Memengaruhinya. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan Bahwa Ketimpangan Kesehatan Di Indonesia Bersifat Multidimensional, Mencakup Aspek Distributif, Struktural, Sosial-Ekonomi, Dan Kebijakan. Ketimpangan Distributif Tercermin Pada Tidak Meratanya Distribusi Tenaga Medis, Fasilitas Kesehatan, Dan Infrastruktur Antara Wilayah Perkotaan Dan Daerah Tertinggal. Dari Sisi Struktural, Sistem Kesehatan Masih Menunjukkan Ketergantungan Antara Pusat Dan Daerah, Terutama Dalam Layanan Rujukan. Sementara Itu, Faktor Sosial-Ekonomi Seperti Pendapatan, Pendidikan, Dan Kondisi Lingkungan Terbukti Menjadi Determinan Utama Yang Memengaruhi Akses Serta Kualitas Layanan Kesehatan. Di Sisi Kebijakan, Implementasi Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) Telah Meningkatkan Akses Formal, Namun Belum Sepenuhnya Menjamin Akses Nyata, Khususnya Bagi Kelompok Rentan. Temuan Juga Menegaskan Bahwa Kualitas Layanan Kesehatan Merupakan Faktor Krusial Selain Akses. Oleh Karena Itu, Pembangunan Kesehatan Berkeadilan Memerlukan Pendekatan Integratif Melalui Redistribusi Sumber Daya, Penguatan Kapasitas Daerah, Desentralisasi Layanan, Serta Integrasi Kebijakan Lintas Sektor. Penelitian Ini Menegaskan Pentingnya Pergeseran Paradigma Pembangunan Kesehatan Dari Sekadar Perluasan Akses Menuju Keadilan Substantif Yang Menjamin Layanan Kesehatan Yang Setara, Adil, Dan Berkelanjutan Bagi Seluruh Masyarakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contribution of counseling services at the Correctional Center (Bapas) in supporting the social reintegration process of clients. As an institution that plays a crucial role in guiding inmates after their release from prison, Bapas has a responsibility to ensure that clients are able to function socially, psychologically, and economically in society. Counseling programs at Bapas are aimed at helping clients understand the social and legal consequences of criminal acts, change their life orientation, and improve the social skills necessary to adapt to their new environment. This study uses a literature review method with secondary data as the primary basis. Secondary data were obtained from various written sources, such as books, scientific journals, research reports, census results, and articles. An evaluation of the program's effectiveness indicates that the success of the service is strongly influenced by internal and external factors, such as client readiness, family support, the competence of the community counselor, the availability of facilities, and the responsiveness of the social environment. The study also reveals that structured, professional, and ongoing counseling and supervision can reduce the risk of recidivism and increase the chances of successful social reintegration. Thus, Bapas services play a strategic role in rebuilding clients' lives and strengthening social security in the community.
