Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts to increase student learning motivation in the content of Civics class III Elementary School using the Kipin School application conducted at SD Negeri 150/IX Mekar Sari. This research is a class action research (PTK) consisting of two cycles, the data taken in the form of observation data through the observation sheet of learning motivation using the electronic book media application, namely Kipin School. This research was conducted with 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of this study indicate an increase in student learning motivation seen from the observation sheet in cycle I student learning motivation of 50%. Then increased to 93% in cycle II. Based on the findings of the research results, it can be concluded that the learning motivation of students using electronic book media through the Kipin School application for grade III elementary schools can increase.

Abstract

Media sosial sangat mempengaruhi interaksi manusia salah satunya aplikasi Whatsapp,yang selalu digunakan generasi milenial dalam berinteraksi setiap harinya sehingga menjadi suatu hal yang menarik untuk dibahas tentang penggunaan bahasa Indonesia mengingat pesatnya perkembangan zaman yang mempengaruhi bahasa IndonesiaPenelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Melihat Bagaimana Eksistensi Penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia Dalam Interaksi Melalui Whatsapp Pada Generasi Milenial dengan menggunakan pendekatan library research atau penelitian kepustakaan. Pada penelitian ini data akan dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber literatur, seperti buku, artikel ilmiah, jurnal, dan dokumen-dokumen terkait untuk mengevaluasi perspektif yang berbeda, pendekatan yang digunakan, serta temuan dan rekomendasi yang muncul dari literatur-literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian Eksistensi Penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia Dalam Interaksi Melalui Whatsapp Pada Generasi Milenial telah ikut memengaruhi pola penggunaan bahasa di kalangan penggunanya, Perkembangan teknologi dan lingkungan telah mengakibatkan pola penggunaan bahasa Indonesia mengalami perubahan dengan adanya campuran bahasa asing informal, atau bahasa Indonesia yang tidak standar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca dan menulis pada proses pembelajaran serta faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam penerapan yang dilakukan dengan model Cooperative Integrared Reading and Composition (CIRC). Studi ini memanfaatkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Datanya diperoleh dengan pengumpulan data SDN 207/IV Kota Jambi, yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model CIRC dapat meningkatkan minat dan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca dan menulis. Faktor eksternal seperti lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan dukungan keluarga memainkan peran penting dalam keberhasilan penerapan model ini. Dengan kerjasama pendidik serta wali murid, siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam motivasi dan keterampilan berbahasa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan membaca maupun menulisnya murid kelas IV D SDN 207/IV Kota Jambi terutama disebabkan oleh faktor eksternal, yakni lingkungan sekolah dan keluarga. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, kerjasamanya pendidik bersama wali murid sangat penting. Dengan demikian, harapan adanya pendekatan yang terstruktur dan kolaboratif ini, hambatan belajarnya murid bisa diminimalisir agar tercapainya pengajaran kepada murid pun akan meningkat.

Abstract

Pemanfaaan artificial intelligence perlu dikuasai oleh guru untuk mempermudah dalam melaksanakan tugas dan mendukung kompetensi profesional salah satunya dalam membuat modul ajar. Kurangnya pemahaman guru dalam pemanfaatan artificial intelligence berdampak pada pembuatan modul ajar yang lama. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam penyusunan modul ajar yang efektif menggunakan artificial intelligence. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDN 36/V Pembengis Kuala Tungkal dengan peserta seluruh guru berjumlah 19 orang. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahapan yakni identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, kemudian sosialisasi dan pendampingan, pelatihan dan pembimbingan, serta evaluasi kegiatan dengan memberikan angket diakhir kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terkait dengan penyusuan modul ajar yang efektif menggunakan artificial intelligence. Hal ini tampak dari persentase pemahaman perserta yakni 26,32% peserta sangat mengetahui, 52,63% mengetahui, dan 21,05% cukup mengetahui. Dari pengalaman peserta didapat persentase 36,84% peserta menyatakan bahwa kegiatan yang telah dilakukan sanagat memuaskan, 52,63% menyatakan memuaskan dan 10,53% menyatakan cukup memuaskan. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan dampak positif terhadapt peserta dengan persentase 84,21% sangat setuju dan 15,79% menyatakan setuju bahwa kegiatan memberikan dampak positif

Abstract

This study aims to understand the perception of teachers and students of grade IV of SDN 13/I Muara Bulian towards the use of technology-based learning media in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with research subjects consisting of grade IV teachers and students who are directly involved in technology-based learning. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using Miles and Huberman's steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that both teachers and students have a positive perception of the use of technology-based learning media. Teachers assess that technology can improve student understanding, create engaging learning, and motivate students to learn. Meanwhile, students feel that technology-based media makes learning more fun, easy to understand, and encourages learning independence. However, several challenges have arisen, such as limited facilities, device access, and technical skills that still need to be improved. With support from schools and further training, technology has the potential to significantly improve the quality of learning. This research provides important insights for the development of technology-based learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implikatur percakapan antara guru dan siswa dalam interaksi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas, menggunakan teori implikatur percakapan H. Paul Grice. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis implikatur yang muncul, pelanggaran maksim yang terjadi, serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberadaan implikatur dalam percakapan tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diambil melalui observasi langsung dan rekaman percakapan di kelas, yang kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan empat maksim Grice, yaitu maksim kualitas, kuantitas, relevansi, dan cara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelanggaran maksim sering terjadi dalam percakapan pembelajaran, baik oleh guru maupun siswa, yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor bahasa, keakraban, kepekaan, budaya, serta kepedulian dan kasih sayang. Pelanggaran maksim ini, meskipun terlihat mengganggu kelancaran komunikasi, sering kali berfungsi untuk memperkuat hubungan sosial atau menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan strategi komunikasi yang lebih efektif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, sehingga dapat meningkatkan interaksi yang lebih produktif di ruang kelas. Abstract This study aims to analyze the implicature of conversation between teachers and students in Indonesian language learning interaction in the classroom, using H. Paul Grice's theory of conversational implicature. The focus of this research is to identify the types of implicatures that appear, the maxims violations that occur, and the factors that influence the existence of implicatures in the conversation. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive method. The data were collected through direct observation and recording of classroom conversations, which were then analyzed based on Grice's four maxims, namely the maxims of quality, quantity, relevance, and manner. The results show that maxim violations often occur in learning conversations, both by teachers and students, which are influenced by factors of language, familiarity, sensitivity, culture, as well as care and affection. These maxim violations, although they seem to disrupt the smoothness of communication, often serve to strengthen social relations or create a more dynamic learning atmosphere. This study contributes to the development of more effective communication strategies in Indonesian language learning, so as to improve more productive interactions in the classroom.

Abstract

Language learning at the elementary school level requires an approach that is able to attract students' interest, while building basic language skills that are effective and meaningful. One innovative approach in the digital era is the use of interactive worksheets, which offer a dynamic and adaptive learning experience. This article aims to examine several studies related to the development of interactive worksheet-based language teaching materials aimed at increasing student motivation, participation and in-depth understanding. The method used is a literature study, which includes collection, analysis and synthesis of various relevant research regarding the effectiveness of interactive worksheets in increasing student engagement in the elementary school environment. The results of the literature review show that interactive worksheets can provide several significant benefits, including supporting various student learning styles, stimulating language exploration, and encouraging critical thinking skills. In addition, the findings show that interactive worksheets provide flexibility for teachers in adapting learning materials to students' needs and interests. The main challenges in implementing interactive worksheets include the need for adequate technological facilities and increasing teacher competence in designing interactive and effective teaching materials.

Abstract

The development of language in elementary school children is a crucial topic in the fields of education, developmental psychology, and linguistics. This research addresses significant gaps in understanding how social and educational environments influence language development in children. Using a literature review methodology, the study analyzes various factors affecting language acquisition, including the roles of family, school, and socio-economic status. Data were collected from relevant literature published within the last five years, focusing on the interaction between children and their teachers, peers, and parents. The findings reveal that effective teacher training significantly impacts children's language skills, highlighting the importance of interactive teaching methods. Additionally, children from higher socio-economic backgrounds tend to have better access to educational resources, which positively influences their language development. The results underscore the critical need for a supportive environment that fosters language growth through active engagement. In conclusion, this research contributes to the understanding of how various factors intertwine to shape language abilities in elementary school children, providing insights that can inform educational policies and practices aimed at enhancing literacy and communication skills in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low writing skills of class III students at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to describe the use of the MIKiR active approach using interactive media to improve writing skills in class III. This research was conducted at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian. Research data was obtained using observation, interviews, tests and documentation techniques. The types of data in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. The research results show that using the MIKiR active approach in the learning process using interactive media can improve writing skills in class III. This can be seen from the results of observations in cycle I, meeting I, the average percentage of 41.03% was still in the quite good criteria and this percentage increased because at meeting II the average percentage was 46.73% even though it was still in the quite good category. In cycle II there was a significant increase where from the average percentage of students' scores in cycle II, meeting I, the average percentage was 63.58%, which was still within the good criteria and this percentage increased because at meeting II the average percentage was 75.54%, which was included into the very good category. In this case it is concluded that the use of the MIKiR active approach using interactive media can improve writing skills in class III at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the condition of language learning in SDN 187/I Teratai. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and analysis of documents involving teachers, students, and parents. The results of the study show that the teaching methods applied are still traditional, with limited learning resources. In addition, the support of parents and the school environment for language learning is also minimal. Therefore, it is necessary to develop more interactive teaching methods and increase access to varied learning resources. The existence of these steps is expected to significantly improve the language skills of students at SDN 187/I Teratai, so that they are better prepared to face challenges in the future.
