Abstract

Language learning at the elementary school level requires an approach that is able to attract students' interest, while building basic language skills that are effective and meaningful. One innovative approach in the digital era is the use of interactive worksheets, which offer a dynamic and adaptive learning experience. This article aims to examine several studies related to the development of interactive worksheet-based language teaching materials aimed at increasing student motivation, participation and in-depth understanding. The method used is a literature study, which includes collection, analysis and synthesis of various relevant research regarding the effectiveness of interactive worksheets in increasing student engagement in the elementary school environment. The results of the literature review show that interactive worksheets can provide several significant benefits, including supporting various student learning styles, stimulating language exploration, and encouraging critical thinking skills. In addition, the findings show that interactive worksheets provide flexibility for teachers in adapting learning materials to students' needs and interests. The main challenges in implementing interactive worksheets include the need for adequate technological facilities and increasing teacher competence in designing interactive and effective teaching materials.

Abstract

The development of language in elementary school children is a crucial topic in the fields of education, developmental psychology, and linguistics. This research addresses significant gaps in understanding how social and educational environments influence language development in children. Using a literature review methodology, the study analyzes various factors affecting language acquisition, including the roles of family, school, and socio-economic status. Data were collected from relevant literature published within the last five years, focusing on the interaction between children and their teachers, peers, and parents. The findings reveal that effective teacher training significantly impacts children's language skills, highlighting the importance of interactive teaching methods. Additionally, children from higher socio-economic backgrounds tend to have better access to educational resources, which positively influences their language development. The results underscore the critical need for a supportive environment that fosters language growth through active engagement. In conclusion, this research contributes to the understanding of how various factors intertwine to shape language abilities in elementary school children, providing insights that can inform educational policies and practices aimed at enhancing literacy and communication skills in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low writing skills of class III students at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to describe the use of the MIKiR active approach using interactive media to improve writing skills in class III. This research was conducted at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian. Research data was obtained using observation, interviews, tests and documentation techniques. The types of data in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. The research results show that using the MIKiR active approach in the learning process using interactive media can improve writing skills in class III. This can be seen from the results of observations in cycle I, meeting I, the average percentage of 41.03% was still in the quite good criteria and this percentage increased because at meeting II the average percentage was 46.73% even though it was still in the quite good category. In cycle II there was a significant increase where from the average percentage of students' scores in cycle II, meeting I, the average percentage was 63.58%, which was still within the good criteria and this percentage increased because at meeting II the average percentage was 75.54%, which was included into the very good category. In this case it is concluded that the use of the MIKiR active approach using interactive media can improve writing skills in class III at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the condition of language learning in SDN 187/I Teratai. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and analysis of documents involving teachers, students, and parents. The results of the study show that the teaching methods applied are still traditional, with limited learning resources. In addition, the support of parents and the school environment for language learning is also minimal. Therefore, it is necessary to develop more interactive teaching methods and increase access to varied learning resources. The existence of these steps is expected to significantly improve the language skills of students at SDN 187/I Teratai, so that they are better prepared to face challenges in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the analysis of an earlier reading ability at second grade of elementary school students as well as factors that affect students' earlier reading ability. Researchers use a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The data sources in this study were grade 2 teachers and parents of grade 2 SD Negeri 045 /I Sridadi. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and document studies. The data obtained is then analyzed through the stages consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and verification / drawing conclusions. The results showed that out of 16 second grade students of SD Negeri 045/1 Sridadi, it was found that 6 students, namely JA, AC, MR, AI, DA, and MN experienced problems in the realm of an earlier reading ability such as : (a) not being able to recognize letters, (b) reading syllables, (c) spelling words, (d) stringing words into simple sentences, and (e) reading short texts. Those aspects are the benchmark for students to have an earlier reading ability. Then students' difficulty in reading is caused by several factors, namely: (a) lack of interest in learning, (b) lack of self-confidence, (c) preschool education, and (d) attention from parents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tindak tutur ilokusi yang terjadi antara penjual dan pembeli di pasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian etnografi komunikasi. Objek penelitian ini adalah bentuk tuturan ilokusi yang terjadi pada interaksi antara penjual dan pembeli di pasar. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah penjual dan pembeli di pasar tradisional yang dipilih secara random. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini mencakup proses observasi partisipan, rekaman tuturan, dan wawancara. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perekaman dan transkripsi. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis wacana. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Austin tindak tutur ilokusi kajian pragmatik untuk mengetahui tindak tutur ilokusi pada interaksi penjual dan pembeli di pasar. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 19 bentuk implikatur ilokusi diantaranya 7 ilokusi asertif, 7 ilokusi direktif, 2 ilokusi ekspresif, 2 ilokusi komisif, dan 1 ilokusi deklarasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, dengan fokus pada kelas I sekolah dasar. HOTS mencakup kemampuan berpikir kritis, logis, reflektif, metakognitif, dan kreatif, yang dianggap esensial dalam pendidikan tingkat tinggi. Guru dianggap kunci keberhasilan dalam mewujudkan proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas, mulai dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal berbasis HOTS memiliki variasi. Ranah kognitif tingkat mengaplikasikan (C3) dinilai rendah, sementara ranah kognitif tingkat menganalisis (C4) dan tingkat mengevaluasi (C5) dinilai sedang. Meskipun demikian, soal Muatan Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas I dianggap sudah sesuai dengan kriteria HOTS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Temuan ini memberikan pandangan mendalam tentang tantangan dan potensi dalam mengimplementasikan HOTS di tingkat dasar. Implementasi strategi pembelajaran yang lebih mendalam dan pengembangan kemampuan guru dapat menjadi langkah kunci untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam ranah HOTS.

Abstract

Para ahli bahasa telah lama tidak sepakat tentang asal usul bahasa. Mayoritas ahli bahasa berbicara tentang cabang-cabang bahasa daripada asal usul bahasa, yang mengaburkan asal usul penelitian bahasa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji asal usul bahasa dari sudut agama dan teori linguistic klasik. Penelitian ini merupakan studi literature yang mana untuk menggali informasi mengenai asal usul bahasa Indonesia dalam perspektif agama dan juga teori lingusitik klasik. Hasil dari penelitian ini dimana menurut perspektif agama di dalam Hubungan antara bahasa dan kognisi yang dieksplorasi oleh para psikolinguistik bukanlah satu-satunya sudut pandang yang diungkapkan dalam Al-Qur'an. Sudut pandang keagamaan terlibat dalam dan menganalisis penelitian linguistik dan kognitif. Manusia mungkin tidak diragukan lagi memiliki kemampuan untuk berpikir dan berbicara. Melihat bahasa dan konsep yang ditemukan dalam Al-Qur'an dari sudut pandangnya Selain menafsirkan dialog antara hamba dan Tuhannya, ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an mengilhami orang untuk berpikir. Allah memanggil manusia untuk berpikir dan berkomunikasi. Sedangkan dalam perspektif teori linguistic klasik yaitu dimana Bahasa Melayu menjadi dasar bahasa Indonesia yang telah mengalami perkembangan yang panjang. Metode analisis terbaik untuk memetakan evolusi dan penyebaran bahasa Indonesia adalah dengan menelitinya dari sudut pandang teori linguistik klasik. Abstract

This study applies case-based learning and project-based learning models assisted by artificial intelligence technology with the aim of realizing differentiated learning, improving learning outcomes, and student participation. This study uses a Quasi Experimental design, with five main steps, namely: Preliminary Study, Preparation of Research Design, Technology Implementation, Data Collection, Data Analysis, and Interpretation of Results. The subjects of the study were 159 students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program in semester 1 who took the Indonesian Language course. Data were obtained through observation, formative evaluation, summative evaluation, student satisfaction surveys, and questionnaires. Based on the correlation analysis of the results of the Summative test in the CBL and PjBL classes, it is known that there is no significant difference in learning outcomes for the two classes. However, the scores obtained in both classes were on average High, namely 79, or A- according to the University of Jambi's value scale. This shows that both models, namely CBL and PjBL combined with the use of AI technology, the Chat GPT application is effective in influencing the success of student learning in the Indonesian Language Course, the topic of Writing Scientific Papers. While in terms of student participation there is a significant difference between classes using CBL and PjBL. Based on the analysis, it is known that the average student participation in the CBL class is 71.56%. While the average student participation in the PjBL class is 87.49%. The results of this study strengthen the results of previous studies which show that the use of AI technology combined with the modern learning models CBL and PjBL can increase student participation in the learning process.
