Abstract

The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with two cycles, namely Cycle I which consists of 4 meetings and Cycle II which consists of 4 meetings. The subjects of this research were 15 children from group B of the Pembina Baebunta Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 academic year, consisting of 6 boys and 9 girls. The data collection techniques for this research are observation and documentation. The research instrument used was an assessment rubric for student observation sheet guidelines. The data collected was then analyzed using data collection techniques through observation, documentation, reflection, evaluation and quantitative data analysis techniques. The success of this research is determined by the research results scores which show an increase in children's learning outcomes. The score in the initial or pre-action condition was 31.25% of all indicators and did not meet the good category in Cycle I with an average observation score of 58% of all indicators and did not meet the good category. Cycle II with an overall average score of 89.5% of all indicators and reached the good category. Thus, this classroom action research (PTK) was successful so that the researchers recommended learning using Luwu Creation Dance to improve children's gross motor development at Pembina Baebunta Kindergarten.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Posyandu in increasing mothers' awareness of balanced nutrition in Rowosari Village. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 13 informants, consisting of 4 mothers of young children, 8 Posyandu cadres, and 1 midwife. The results of the thematic analysis based on role theory revealed five main indicators: role expectations, role performance, role pressures, role support, and evaluation-innovation. The findings indicate that Posyandu plays a crucial role as a center for community nutrition information and education; however, it faces challenges such as low mother participation, limited Posyandu cadres, insufficient training, and inflexible education schedules. Nevertheless, the cadres demonstrated initiative through practice-based educational innovations and digital approaches. This study emphasizes that the effectiveness of Posyandu is highly dependent on cross-sectoral support, cadre capacity, and contextual and interactive educational approaches.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the influence of work ethics and work discipline on employee performance. The sampling technique used saturated sampling with 50 respondents who were employees at Taru Martani Cafe & Resto Yogyakarta. The data collection method used a questionnaire. Instrument testing techniques included validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2), while hypothesis testing used partial significance (t-test), and simultaneous significance (f-test).The results of the study indicate that: 1). Partial significance test: work ethics has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance variables; work discipline has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance variables; 2). Simultaneous significance test: work ethics and work discipline have a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance variables. 3). The multiple linear regression equation is Y = 39.360 + 0.045X1 + 0.183X2; The Adjusted R2 value is 0.010, or 1 percent. This indicates that work ethic and work discipline influence employee performance by 1 percent, while the remaining 99 percent is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Kelapa sawit berperan penting dalam industri minyak nabati. Minyak kelapa sawit adalah salah satu komoditas yang paling diminati dan diperdagangkan di pasar global, digunakan dalam berbagai produk sehari-hari seperti makanan olahan dan sebagai bahan baku utama dalam produksi bahan bakar biodiesel. Indonesia adalah produsen terbesar kelapa sawit di dunia, menyumbang sekitar 50% dari total produksi global. Sebagai produsen terbesar minyak kelapa sawit di dunia, Indonesia memiliki peran besar dalam menyediakan pasokan global minyak nabati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meramalkan produksi kelapa sawit di Indonesia pada tahun 2024 menggunakan metode Fuzzy Time Series Chen. Ada beberapa tahapan metode time series mulai dari menghitung panjang interval, fuzzifikasi, menentukan FLR (Fuzzy Logical Relationship), menentukan FLRG (Fuzzy Logical Relationship Group, menghitung nilai peramalan kemudian setelah didapat hasil peramalan, akan dilakukan uji ketepatan peramalan dengan melihat nilai Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Setelah mengikuti langkah-langkah pada peramalan Fuzzy Time Series Chen, didapatkan nilai peramalan jumlah produksi kelapa sawit di Indonesia pada tahun 2024 sebesar 44.549.793 ton dengan tingkat peramalan sangat akurat yang diukur dengan MAPE sebesar 3.99%.

Abstract

This study concludes conclusion of this study is that extremism in the name of religion can be eradicated through moderate and inclusive Islamic education. Religious moderation can be expressed through tawazun (balance), i'tidal (truth and stability), tasamuh (tolerance), musawah (equality), shura (consideration), ishlah (equality) reform), aulawiyah (priority), tathawwur wa ibtikar ( dynamic and creative). For this reason, an attitude of religious moderation is needed which includes acknowledging the existence of other parties, being tolerant, respecting differences of opinion, and not forcing one's will by force. The role of the government, community leaders, and religious educators is needed to socialize and develop community religious moderation to create harmony and peace.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to analyze on the comparative outcomes of LSG and RYGB in terms of weight loss, comorbidity resolution, safety profiles, and patient-reported outcomes.  Methods: The review adhered to PRISMA 2020 standards and analyzed full-text English literature from 2014 to 2024. It excluded editorials, review papers from the same journal, and submissions lacking a DOI. Literature sources included PubMed, SagePub, SpringerLink, and Google Scholar. Result: A total of  500 articles were retrieved from online databases (PubMed, SagePub, SpringerLink and Google Scholar). After three rounds of screening, ten articles directly relevant to the systematic review were selected for full-text reading and analysis. Conclusion: LSG and RYGB are crucial interventions for combating obesity, providing effective solutions and alleviating associated health issues. Despite similar weight loss and comorbidity improvements, they differ in safety profiles and outcomes. Tailoring treatment approaches based on individual patient factors, surgical proficiency, and ongoing research can optimize bariatric surgery's benefits, promoting long-term health and well-being.

Abstract

Introduction: Diabetes mellitus has become one of the increasingly alarming global health challenges. As a chronic disease, diabetes results in various detrimental consequences, including high mortality rates and significant healthcare costs. Objective: This research aims to determine the factors associated with blood sugar control behavior among diabetes mellitus patients in the Blang Kuta Community Health Center's service area. Method: This study is a quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study consists of all DM patients in 4 villages in the Blang Kuta Community Health Center's service area, totaling 252 individuals. Sampling was conducted using proportional random sampling techniques, involving 72 DM patients. Data collection was performed through interviews using questionnaires and analyzed through univariate, bivariate analysis using chi-square test, and multivariate analysis using logistic regression test using the SPSS program. Result: The univariate analysis results revealed that the majority of respondents exhibited poor behavior (54.2%). Bivariate analysis results indicated a significant relationship between knowledge (p-value 0.000), level of education (p-value 0.002), gender (p-value 0.005), and self-efficacy (p-value 0.000) with blood sugar control behavior. However, variables such as family history (p-value 0.471) and duration of diabetes mellitus (p-value 0.277) did not show a significant relationship. Multivariate analysis results indicated that knowledge (p-value = 0.035, OR = 5.114) and self-efficacy (p-value = 0.000, OR = 13.278) are important determinants of blood sugar control among patients with diabetes mellitus. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between knowledge, education, gender, and self-efficacy with blood sugar control behavior. However, variables such as family history of diabetes mellitus and duration of diabetes mellitus do not show a significant relationship. Nonetheless, factors strongly associated with blood sugar control behavior in diabetic patients are knowledge and self-efficacy.

Abstract

Perubahan iklim berdampak signifikan pada indonesia, termasuk wilayah dengan kadar karentan tinggi. Indonesia rentan terhadap perubahan iklim karena kondisi geografisnya. Perubahan iklim mempengaruhi ekonomi, khususnya sektor-sektor berisiko tinggi seperti UMKM. UMKM berperan penting dalam perekonomian dan banyak merambah di kota-kota besar seperti Palangka Raya, yang rentan terhadap bencana hidrometeorologi. Perubahan iklim berdampak pada kesejahteraan UMKM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan memahami hubungan dampak perubahan iklim terhadap kesejahteraan UMKM di kota Palangka Raya. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriftif, menggunakana data perubahan iklim tahun 2022 dan sampel UMKM di kota Palangka Raya sebanyak 30 informan. Dari hasil 30 informan tersebut menunjukan bahwa perubahan iklim membawa dampak pada pendapatan dan produktivitas dari UMKM di kota Palangka Raya yang terlihat apabila pada musim penghujan membuat rendahnya pendapatan dan produktifitas dari pada musim normal dan musim kemarau. Maka dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dampak perubahan iklim berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan UMKM di kota Palangka Raya.

Abstract

Kedai teh adalah jenis bisnis yang menawarkan berbagai macam minuman teh dengan sentuhan tradisional dalam suasana yang nyaman. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis kinerja keuangan dan kebutuhan investasi awal dari Kedai Teh D'Nyonya. Metode analisis yang digunakan meliputi analisis lokasi bisnis, kapasitas produksi, layout pabrik, kesiapan teknologi, serta estimasi investasi awal. Data keuangan diperoleh dari laporan keuangan internal Kedai Teh D'Nyonya, sedangkan data untuk estimasi investasi awal diperoleh dari perhitungan yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Kedai Teh D'Nyonya memiliki lokasi strategis yang dapat menarik banyak pelanggan, kapasitas produksi yang memadai, dan pemanfaatan teknologi modern dalam proses produksi dan pemasaran. Meskipun usaha ini menunjukkan potensi untuk menghasilkan pendapatan yang stabil, tingkat pengembalian modal yang rendah, seperti yang diindikasikan oleh Average Rate of Return (ARR) yang kurang dari 0%, mungkin membuatnya kurang menguntungkan dalam jangka panjang. Namun demikian, dengan strategi pemasaran yang efektif dan lokasi yang strategis, Kedai Teh D'Nyonya memiliki peluang untuk berhasil dalam bisnisnya.

Abstract

Acinetobacter is an opportunistic pathogen that causes nosocomial infections and is one of the pathogens with the highest prevalence in the world. In addition to its prevalence, the number of isolates that are resistant to antibiotics is increasing every year worldwide. Identification of these bacteria in patients is generally carried out using various methods however, each method has drawbacks such as a long time, low accuracy, and requires high costs. To overcome this, CHROMagar Acinetobacter is used and is expected to be one of the solutions for identifying Acinetobacter in patient samples due to its selectivity and accuracy. However, in this research, several non-Acinetobacter bacteria are able to grow in this media, making identification of A. baumannii using this media remain a challenge. Using phenotypic tests, 5 isolates were successfully separated from 32 A. baumannii isolates in this study (13,51%), where these 5 isolates showed the same characteristics as A. baumannii phenotypically on CHROMagar Acinetobacter results but differ in biochemical tests. Therefore, false-positive results will be obtained based solely on CHROMagar Acinetobacter results. In sum, the use of CHROMagar Acinetobacter must be followed by other conventional tests to increase the accuracy of Acinetobacter identification in specimens.
