Abstract

Textbooks play a crucial role in the learning process, influencing instructional practices and students' cognitive development. However, some textbooks fail to support students in constructing new knowledge because of a lack of gradual concept progression. Consequently, textbook analysis has become a key focus of educational research. This study analysed a seventh-grade mathematics textbook on integers using the praxeology framework. It examines the material structure and identifies potential learning obstacles to learning. As part of Didactical Design Research (DDR) at the prospective stage, this study adopts an interpretive paradigm and qualitative approach. The praxeology framework, derived from the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic (ATD), serves as an analytical lens for this study. The researchers conducted an in-depth analysis of praxeological components, including task types, techniques, technologies, and the underlying theories. The findings revealed that the textbook systematically presented integer content but lacked support for epistemic knowledge construction. Additionally, potential didactic and ontogenic obstacles were identified. The findings contribute theoretically by demonstrating the framework’s application to textbook analysis. Practically, it guides the alignment of mathematical tasks with learning goals and reduces the learning obstacles. The results inform policy by emphasising the development of contextually and pedagogically relevant textbooks, rather than direct adaptation.

Abstract

The Adversity Quotient (AQ) refers to individuals' ability to recognize challenges, apply their intelligence to these challenges, and turn them into problems to be solved. The low ability of students to solve mathematical problems is a major issue that needs to be analyzed more deeply from an AQ perspective. This study aims to analyze and describe students' mathematical problem-solving ability based on AQ, with the categories of climber, camper, and quitter. This qualitative research uses a case study method conducted on IX students at an SMP in Bandung, West Java. The subjects were three people who represented each AQ category. Data were collected through questionnaires, tests, and interviews. After that, the collected data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which involves the stage of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study show that there are differences in mathematical problem-solving ability based on three categories of adversity quotient. Students in the climber category showed excellent ability to solve problems by fulfilling four problem-solving indicators: identifying problems, developing strategies, implementing strategies, and re-examining the results of the solution. Meanwhile, camper category students showed sufficient problem-solving ability by fulfilling three indicators: identifying problems, developing strategies, and implementing strategies. On the other hand, students in the quitter category showed low problem-solving ability and could only fulfill one indicator, namely identifying problems.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the thinking experiences of preservice mathematics teachers in learning geometric transformation proofs, focusing on four categories of thinking: personalization, contextualization, depersonalization, and decontextualization. Employing a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, the study involved 24 preservice mathematics teachers in a mathematics education program who had completed a course on Geometric Transformations. Data were collected through written test tasks and in-depth interviews and analyzed thematically. The data analysis followed a four-stage phenomenological procedure: bracketing, to suspend researcher assumptions; intuiting, to immerse in participants’ experiences; thematizing, to identify recurring patterns; and describing, to construct a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. The findings identified seven key themes that reflect the thinking experiences of preservice mathematics teachers. Through an in-depth analysis of these themes, it was revealed that the participants’ reasoning predominantly remained at the stages of personalization and contextualization. Depersonalized and decontextualized thinking was not identified, suggesting that the transition toward formal and abstract mathematical reasoning had not yet occurred. The findings suggest possible cognitive obstacles experienced by preservice teachers in transitioning toward formal reasoning, based on interview responses. However, the exploration of these challenges was limited to data gathered through interviews. Future studies are recommended to conduct deeper investigations through classroom observations and analysis of instructional materials to better understand how these thinking difficulties emerge.

Abstract

Counseling teachers and guardians class own role important in monitor and record behavior students. Needed a accurate application for take notes behavior the purpose of the research this for develop application logger behavior the student who was called with application logger behavior based on management knowledge. Recording results this then published and accessed by parents students. Research methods use Research and Development (R&D) with stages: study literature, analysis needs, development products, and trials product. Subject study This is a guidance teacher counseling and guardianship class. Validation test results by experts materials, IT experts, and management showed an average of 96%, 88.4%, and 94%; which are in the very good criteria. This is prove that application suppressor behavior this worthy for developed. The results of the evaluation carried out towards the related teachers use; addition insight, and usefulness application this, an average of 44% of teachers stated that they strongly agreed and 52% stated that they agree, and 4% stated no agree. The evaluation was carried out towards the parents of the students concerned usability, accuracy recording, and transparency access information by party school, 48% of parents strongly agree, 50% of parents agree, and 2% of parents do not agree. Test results this show that application can take notes behavior student in a way accurate and precise. Research conclusion prove that application this can help teachers and guardians class take notes behavior student in a way accurate and reporting to parents. School can utilise notes behavior student as base takeover decision. Implications study This make it easier for teachers and guardians class  know behavior student in a way real time and become base evaluation for to plant behavior good student.

Abstract

Zakat has an important role in improving welfare and social justice in the community, and has collaborated with Islamic banking to increase zakat collection. However, strategic collaboration between Zakat Collection Institutions (LAZ) and Islamic banks is still not optimal, especially in creating a more inclusive and integrated zakat ecosystem. This study aims to examine the form of strategies in efforts to optimize the collection of social funds (Zakat, Infaq, and Alms) in Indonesia through cooperation between the Zakat Management Organization and Sharia Banking. The method used in this study was the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method, with a total of 16 respondents selected through purposive sampling based on their relevance and competence to the research topic. The results of the study show that in the aspect of problems and solutions, the main priority is regulatory indicators, with an average value of 0.332 for problems and 0.329 for solutions. Then, in terms of the proposed optimization strategy, including strengthening regulations (0,262), aligning bank policies and strategies (0,255), increasing human resource competence (0,241) and developing innovative and varied products (0,241), which can significantly increase ZIS fundraising through collaboration between the Zakat Management Organization (ZMO) and Islamic Banking (IB). This study also provides a number of recommendations for regulators, practitioners, and academics to further improve the quality of their competencies and resources, as well as to review the implementation of regulations and their impact.

Abstract

Writing argumentative texts is essential to learning because students can express their opinions and views. This research aims to review the implementation of lesson study-based learning of argumentative text writing skills and the improvement of argumentative text writing skills using the four square method for class XI students. This research is included in Collaborative Classroom Action Research based on lesson study. The PTKK implementation was carried out in two cycles using data collection techniques in the form of tests and non-tests. The subjects in this research were 34 students in class XI A at SMAN 5 Bogor City. In this research, data was obtained on improving the writing skills of class XI students from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The average score obtained by students in cycle one reached 73.11, while in cycle two, they got an average score of 89,5. This data shows that the four square methods improve argumentative text writing skills of class XI A students at SMAN 5 Bogor City.

Abstract

Pada perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penambangan, keselamatan dan kesehatan karyawanmerupakan hal yang penting. PT PAMA sebagai sebuah perusahaan pertambangan telah berupaya untukselaras mengikuti regulasi atau peraturan-peraturan K3 yang ada. Pelaporan insiden yang terjadi di area kerjadan pencatatan risiko dan mitigasi di seluruh area kerja telah dilakukan namun masih terdapat beberapamasalah operasional yang muncul terkait diantaranya yaitu data terkait keselamatan dan kesehatan karyawanmasih berbentuk salinan kertas, memiliki format laporan yang berbeda-beda dan tersebar diantar antar areakerja atau cabang. Hal ini dirasa menyulitkan dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam hal pencarian,distribusi, pemantauan dan kontrol khususnya oleh kantor pusat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengusulkansolusi terhadap permasalahan yang ada melalui pembuatan portal web. Portal web dikembangkan denganpendekatan BPI dan purwarupa. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan untuk pengembangan adalah bahasapemrograman ASP dengan basis data SQL Server. Dengan portal web proses pelaporan, pemantauan dankontrol K3 dapat menjadi lebih mudah dan cepat.

Abstract

Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) merupakan agen tunggal pemegang merek Isuzu yangmemiliki 120 diler di seluruh Indonesia. Setiap tahunnya diler IAMI melakukan kegiatan promosi demimeningkatkan penjualan produk, namun saat ini proses pengajuan dokumen kegiatan promosi diler ke IAMIdirasa masih kurang efisien. Kegiatan pengajuan membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan biaya pengirimanmelalui kurir relatif tinggi dikarenakan arsip atau dokumen dibuat dan dikirimkan dengan cara konvensional.Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka diusulkan solusi digitalisasi melalui pembangunan aplikasi DealerActivity Support (DAS) yang akan mengubah proses pembuatan dan pengajuan kegiatan promosi darikonvensional menjadi digital. DAS dibangun menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak waterfalldengan menggunakan layanan teknologi informasi komputasi awan berbasis platform as a service (paas).Dengan aplikasi DAS biaya pengiriman dokumen melalui kurir dapat dihilangkan dan waktu pengajuandapat dipercepat sampai 72%. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan untuk menambahkan faktorkeamanan dalam aplikasi.

Abstract

Auditor performance reflects the outcomes of responsibilities such as examining financial statements, assessing compliance, and delivering objective evaluations. Strengthening auditor independence and adherence to professional ethics plays a vital role in sustaining credibility and ensuring accountability in audit outcomes. This study aims to analyse how independence and professional ethics influence internal auditor performance within the Bogor Regency Inspectorate. A verificative approach with an explanatory survey method was applied. The data were obtained from 36 respondents using questionnaires and analysed with SPSS version 29. Descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, traditional assumption evaluation, and hypothesis testing using the t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination were among the analytical methods used. The findings suggest that professional ethics and independence have no statistically significant partial effects on internal auditor performance. In a combined test, independence and professional ethics show a considerable positive impact, highlighting their joint contribution in enhancing the quality of internal supervision. These findings emphasise the need for internal auditors to consistently apply independence and professional ethics to improve objectivity, accountability, and the reliability of audit reports. Future research is advised to incorporate other variables such as competence, leadership, and organizational culture to provide broader insights into auditor performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi Program Kampung SABER (Sabilulungan Bersih) di Desa Margamekar, Kabupaten Bandung, sebagai upaya mengatasi permasalahan pengelolaan sampah dan pelestarian lingkungan. Program ini merupakan inisiatif Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Bandung yang melibatkan berbagai kegiatan seperti Lubang Cerdas Organik (LCO), SATAPOK (Sabilulungan Tanam Pohon Kesayangan), TPS 3R (Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), dan program MOL (Mikroorganisme Lokal). Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa implementasi Program Kampung SABER di Desa Margamekar telah menunjukkan beberapa keberhasilan, terutama dalam program LCO yang menjadi juara di tingkat kabupaten dan provinsi. Namun, terdapat tantangan seperti inkonsistensi kebijakan akibat pergantian pemerintahan, keterbatasan ekonomi masyarakat, dan rendahnya partisipasi kaum muda. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan program sangat bergantung pada dukungan aktif masyarakat, kesinambungan kebijakan pemerintah, dan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat melalui edukasi berkelanjutan. Diperlukan strategi sosialisasi yang lebih komprehensif dan kolaborasi yang lebih erat antara berbagai pemangku kepentingan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan keberhasilan program dalam jangka panjang.
