Abstract

Head of ward has a role to direct and motivate nurses especially in spiritual care implementation. This study aimed to identify the relationship between head nurse’s actuating function and spiritual nursing care implementation at Gedung A RSUPN Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo. This study used cross sectional design with 153 respondents included. Data was collected using questionnaires and then analyzed using Chi Square test and multiple logistic regression.  The result showed that there was significant relationship between head nurse’s actuating function and spiritual nursing care implementation (p value 0.000, OR 5.814). Great direction from head nurse with a high actuating function has a 5.8 times chance of implementing spiritually based nursing care compared to one with a low level of carrying out the actuating function. The nursing and training sector can develop training programs for spiritual nursing care, monitoring and evaluation, and supervision of its implementation.

Abstract

This paper discusses the application of two combined power generation systems namely generator and Solar Panel in improving the efficiency of offshore power supply during downtime. Ensuring reliable and sustainable power in remote and limited range environments is critical for sustainable platform maintenance and sustainability. Traditional power sources, such as diesel generators, although reliable, have high carbon emissions and operational costs. Solar energy, although environmentally friendly, faces spatial constraints in offshore. A hybrid system combines photovoltaic (PV) panels and conventional generators, which provides an optimal balance between renewable energy and reliability. This study focuses on the system design, operational benefits, and its impact on wellhead platform sustainability, highlighting its efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

The notary profession plays an important role in maintaining the credibility of notarial practice. The existence of Law No. 2 of 2014 concerning the Position of Notary has not yet been able to fully uphold this credibility, as in reality, issues related to improper recording practices in Indonesia often referred to as bogus records are still frequently encountered. This study aims to interpret notarial practice based on principles from the Qur'an, which emphasize the actualization of notaries as professionals. A qualitative-interpretative method was used, guiding the researcher to interpret the professional conduct of notaries. In conducting this interpretation, the researcher refers to QS. Al-Baqarah (2): 282, At-Taubah (9): 119, An-Nahl (16): 90, and Al-Ahzab (33): 72. The findings of this study indicate that Qur'anic values such as honesty (sidq), justice (‘adl), and trustworthiness (amānah) are essential in shaping the professional ethics of notaries. The implementation of these values can strengthen the integrity of the notary profession serving as a moral guideline in carrying out their duties not merely as an administrative obligation. This study proposes the need for integrating Qur'anic values into notary professional education and reinforcing ethical code supervision to create a more moral and civilized legal system.

Abstract

Zn-C batteries contain zinc, carbon, manganese dioxide, and ammonium chloride, which are difficult to decompose and pose risks to human health and the environment. Recycling Zn-C battery waste into zinc oxide (ZnO) offers a sustainable solution. When combined with chitosan, ZnO forms a composite material. This study analyzes the characteristics of ZnO/chitosan nanocomposites and determines optimal conditions for hexavalent chromium adsorption. The nanocomposite was synthesized by mixing ZnO from battery waste with chitosan from shrimp shells. FTIR analysis of chitosan showed characteristic peaks at 3.498 cm⁻¹, 2.875 cm⁻¹, 1.373 cm⁻¹, 1.613 cm⁻¹, 1.302 cm⁻¹, 1.554 cm⁻¹, 1.153 cm⁻¹, and 1.067 cm⁻¹, while ZnO had a peak at 502 cm⁻¹. XRD analysis identified 2θ peaks at 9.22º, 19.13º, 23.04º, 26.23º, 31.62º, 34.39º, 36.17º, and 56.54º. Optimal adsorption occurred with 20 mg nanocomposite, 60 minutes contact time, and 5 ppm chromium concentration, achieving 94.61% efficiency.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to assist in the planning and design of a safe and efficient electrical installation for Musholah Nurul Fadillah, located in Cibendil Village, Maja District, Lebak Regency, Banten. The installation is designed based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), involving power requirement analysis, selection of electrical components, and technical calculations such as cable sizing and panel capacity. The design includes proper placement of lighting points, sockets, and switches tailored to the room’s function and worship activities. Safety aspects are addressed through the use of protective devices such as MCBs (Miniature Circuit Breakers) and ELCBs (Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers). With a total of 15 lighting points, 10 sockets, and 5 switches, this activity is expected to provide practical solutions and contribute positively to the improvement of worship facilities for the local community.

Abstract

Smoking behavior in public spaces remains a major challenge in the implementation of public health policies, particularly within designated smoke-free zones. This study aims to examine whether architectural improvements and spatio-temporal modeling in object detection models can enhance the accuracy of real-time smoking behavior detection. Specifically, the performance of YOLOv8 and an experimental version, YOLOv11, is compared using a vision-based approach. A dataset of 3,000 annotated images is used, consisting of smoking and non-smoking activities such as drinking or phone use, with variations in lighting, body posture, and camera angles. The dataset was divided into 80% for training, 20% for validation, and 20% for testing, with data augmentation applied to improve generalization. YOLOv11 incorporates spatio-temporal modules and attention mechanisms not present in YOLOv8. Evaluation results show that YOLOv11 outperforms YOLOv8, achieving a Precision of 0.95, Recall of 0.91, and F1-Score of 0.93, while YOLOv8 reached 0.89, 0.87, and 0.88 respectively. These findings indicate that YOLOv11 offers a more robust and adaptive solution for automatically recognizing smoking behavior in real-world environments and supports the development of intelligent surveillance systems for enforcing smoke-free policies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran animasi pada materi sistem pengisian baterai dalam mata kuliah teknik kelistrikan otomotif guna meningkatkan efektivitas dan pemahaman peserta didik di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Masalah yang diidentifikasi dalam pembelajaran konvensional mencakup keterbatasan modul dan video daring yang kurang interaktif serta ketergantungan pada koneksi internet. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Hasil validasi oleh ahli desain, ahli media, dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa media animasi yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan, dengan persentase kelayakan di atas 90%. Uji kepraktisan dan kemenarikan oleh mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil sangat praktis (92,58%) dan sangat menarik (91,42%). Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa media pembelajaran animasi dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam menjelaskan materi teknis secara visual, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan memudahkan pemahaman konsep sistem pengisian baterai. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan media ini penting untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran teknik otomotif secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

This research examines the application of restorative justice in handling minor crimes in Indonesia as an alternative to the retributive approach in the criminal justice system. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a juridical-sociological approach, this study includes literature reviews, policy analysis, and interviews with law enforcement officials and minor offenders. The findings indicate that restorative justice contributes positively by accelerating case resolution, reducing recidivism, and restoring social relationships between offenders, victims, and the community. However, its implementation faces challenges such as limited human resources, uneven understanding among officers, and the lack of clear standard operating procedures. The implications of this research emphasize the need for criminal policy reform based on local values and strengthening the capacity of law enforcement officers to implement restorative justice nationwide.

Abstract

The revitalization of the water level control system and the renovation of the ablution area are strategic efforts to improve the quality of worship facilities at Mushola Nurul Yaqin, Sindang Laut Village, Banten. The previous water control system was inefficient, leading to water wastage and unstable supply, while the damaged ablution area reduced comfort and safety for worshippers. This activity aimed to redesign an automatic water control system using sensors and a microcontroller, as well as to renovate the ablution infrastructure using more durable and functional materials. The implementation results showed that the system could regulate water levels efficiently and in real-time, while the improved ablution facilities provided greater comfort for users. This project has had a positive impact on efficient water management, enhanced worship services, and supports the sustainability of religious facilities within the community.

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in education provides innovative solutions to challenges faced in the learning process, such as limited teaching resources, variations in student learning styles, and the need to improve motivation and learning productivity. Ya BAKII Kesugihan Senior High School (SMAYA), a boarding school-based in Kesugihan District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java Province, integrates general and religious education in a comprehensive manner. However, teachers at SMAYA still have limited mastery of AI (Chatgpt, Gamma, Wordwall, and Deppl), technology, while digital technology continues to develop rapidly. Therefore, specialized training on the appropriate use of AI technology in alignment with religious values and boarding school culture is necessary. This training aims to enable teachers at SMAYA to understand and master AI technology, implement it in more personalized and adaptive learning processes, and enhance students' motivation and productivity. As a result, it is hoped that the quality of education at SMAYA will improve, bridge the digital divide, and promote competitive education in the globalized era.
