Abstract

This study explores the transformation of cultural values within the life-cycle traditions of the Nagekeo community in Flores, focusing on how modernization and religion influence long-standing rituals from wombu (birth) to woda (death). The research employs a qualitative literature review approach based on studies from 2020–2025 that examine cultural continuity, adaptation, and intergenerational transmission in local communities. Findings reveal that traditional practices in Nagekeo are undergoing reinterpretation: symbolic rituals once centered on ancestral spirituality are increasingly blended with religious teachings and modern values. While modernization introduces efficiency and new forms of expression, it also challenges communal participation and spiritual depth. Nevertheless, the community demonstrates adaptive resilience—preserving core ethical and social meanings while reshaping ceremonies to align with contemporary life. The transformation from wombu to woda thus represents not a cultural decline, but an ongoing negotiation between heritage, faith, and modern identity.

Abstract

This study examines the role of local wisdom in the life cycle of the Nagekeo people of Flores and its function as a foundation for preserving cultural identity amid globalization. Using a qualitative cultural approach, the research explores how traditional rituals—from birth to death—serve not only as symbols of spirituality but also as expressions of social cohesion and intergenerational continuity. Findings indicate that the Nagekeo community has adapted to the pressures of modernization and religion by integrating new meanings into long-standing traditions. Rituals that once centered on ancestral belief are now practiced alongside Christian values, creating a form of cultural synthesis that sustains both heritage and faith. Despite challenges such as commercialization and generational gaps, local wisdom remains a living framework guiding moral, social, and spiritual life. Thus, the preservation of cultural identity in Nagekeo demonstrates how tradition can coexist with modernity through creative adaptation and intergenerational participation.

Abstract

The rise of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning has introduced new possibilities for personalized education. However, existing research lacks a comprehensive synthesis of how these technologies contribute to the design and delivery of personalized learning content.This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) examining the role of generative AI and deep learning in personalized education. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, 39 peer-reviewed articles published between 2022 and 2025 were selected from databases including Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, ERIC, and ScienceDirect. Thematic analysis was conducted using NVivo, and the quality of included studies was assessed using the CASP checklist. Three major themes emerged: (1) generative AI enables adaptive content creation and real-time instructional support; (2) deep learning enhances learner profiling and predictive feedback through multimodal data analysis; and (3) ethical, cultural, and equity-related challenges persist, including concerns about algorithmic bias, data privacy, and teacher displacement. While these technologies show promise in scaling personalization and improving engagement, issues related to trust, transparency, and contextual relevance remain significant. Generative AI and deep learning offer transformative potential for personalized learning, yet their successful implementation depends on human oversight, ethical safeguards, and alignment with pedagogical goals. Future research should focus on long-term learning outcomes, cross-cultural validation, and the development of explainable and inclusive AI systems.

Abstract

The rapid pace of technological change in the digital era has transformed the skills required for employees to remain competitive and productive. Organizations are increasingly recognizing that continuous learning and structured upskilling initiatives are not only critical for maintaining workforce relevance but also for enhancing overall performance and innovation capacity. This article explores the evolving relationship between continuous learning, upskilling strategies, and employee performance in digitally driven workplaces. Drawing on recent studies, the review highlights that effective upskilling programs—integrating digital literacy, data-driven decision-making, and adaptable problem-solving—empower employees to respond to dynamic market demands and technological disruptions. Moreover, fostering a culture of continuous learning, supported by accessible training platforms, mentoring, and organizational incentives, improves employee engagement, adaptability, and job satisfaction, which in turn positively impacts organizational productivity. The findings suggest that companies investing in lifelong learning infrastructures, including blended learning models and AI-assisted training tools, are better positioned to build resilient and innovative workforces capable of sustaining performance in rapidly evolving environments. This study underscores the importance of strategic alignment between learning initiatives and organizational goals, emphasizing the role of leadership support and digital transformation policies in maximizing the impact of upskilling efforts.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia pendidikan di Indonesia terus bergerak dinamis mengikuti perubahan global yang sangat cepat, terutama sejak masuknya era transformasi digital dan tuntutan kompetensi abad ke-21. Tujuan melakukan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini untuk mengoptimalisasi praktik pembelajaran di SMPK Frater Maumere melalui bimbingan teknis kurikulum nasional dan penerapan deep learning. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif, dengan menekankan keterlibatan aktif guru dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan. Metode ini dirancang untuk memastikan bahwa transfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan dapat berlangsung optimal sekaligus memberikan kesempatan bagi guru untuk mempraktikkan secara langsung berbagai strategi implementasi Kurikulum Nasional dan pendekatan Deep Learning. Berikut metode pelaksanaan kegiatan secara sistematis. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui Bimbingan Teknis Kurikulum Nasional dan penerapan pendekatan Deep Learning di SMPK Frater Maumere memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru dan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kampung Ruteng Pu'u sebagai salah satu kampung adat di Kabupaten Manggarai, Nusa Tenggara Timur, merupakan representasi nyata dari kekayaan budaya lokal yang masih bertahan hingga saat ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Penguatan Kearifan Lokal melalui Pelestarian Budaya Lokal Berbasis Media Digital di Kampung Ruteng Pu'u. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif-analitis, yaitu menggambarkan dan menganalisis secara kritis gagasan, konsep, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang berkaitan dengan kearifan lokal, budaya lokal, serta media digital. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang diperoleh melalui kajian pustaka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kearifan lokal Kampung Ruteng Pu’u merupakan warisan budaya yang memiliki nilai sosial, budaya, dan edukatif yang tinggi bagi masyarakat Manggarai. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal tersebut tercermin dalam praktik adat, sistem sosial, arsitektur tradisional, serta ritual budaya yang berfungsi sebagai pedoman hidup masyarakat dan pembentuk identitas kolektif komunitas adat.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas keuangan mikro bagi para pedagang kecil melalui pelatihan manajemen risiko dan investasi. Pedagang kecil kerap menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti pendapatan yang tidak stabil, keterbatasan akses terhadap kredit, serta kerentanan terhadap fluktuasi pasar. Selain itu, sebagian besar pedagang masih kurang memiliki pemahaman tentang strategi investasi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan usaha. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat secara partisipatif, melalui kegiatan lokakarya, pendampingan, dan diskusi interaktif bersama pedagang setempat. Materi pelatihan mencakup identifikasi risiko dasar, perencanaan keuangan, diversifikasi investasi, serta simulasi kasus praktis. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, serta observasi langsung terhadap kemampuan peserta dalam menerapkan teknik manajemen keuangan pada usahanya. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan pemahaman mengenai manajemen risiko, serta keterampilan yang lebih baik dalam menyusun rencana investasi sederhana. Program ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan literasi keuangan guna memperkuat ketahanan dan pertumbuhan pedagang kecil dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the entrepreneurial orientation of students who do startup business has a competitive advantage. This study used a qualitative approach, with student informants doing business startups. Information obtained from interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial orientation is demonstrated by the ability to always be innovative, act proactively, and take risks. To have competitive capabilities can be demonstrated through competitive products and prices compared to its competitors. If a startup business wants to have a competitive advantage, it can be created through innovative, proactive, and risk-taking activities.

Abstract

This research explores the critical intersection of sustainable finance and corporate governance, emphasizing the role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors across various industry sectors. The primary objective is to highlight how ESG considerations impact long-term value creation and risk mitigation within sectors such as technology, semiconductors, building, commercial services, and healthcare. Through a comparative analysis of ESG scores, the study aims to uncover patterns and discrepancies in ESG integration across these sectors, providing insights into their respective commitments to sustainability. To address the reviewer's feedback, the study clearly articulates its research goal: to assess how different sectors perform regarding ESG metrics and identify the factors contributing to observed variations. The methodology includes the collection of secondary ESG data from reputable sources, such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, using statistical analysis to identify trends and differences in ESG adherence. The findings reveal significant sector-specific variations, with technology and semiconductor sectors achieving the highest ESG scores, while the building and healthcare sectors exhibit substantial room for improvement. The implications of these results are practical; businesses can leverage these insights to enhance their ESG integration strategies. In conclusion, the study advocates for a stronger incorporation of ESG metrics into corporate decision-making processes, promoting a future of sustainable and ethical business practices across industries. By doing so, it aims to foster long-term resilience and positive societal impact.

Abstract

Praktik Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) semakin diakui sebagai strategi penting bagi organisasi untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang inklusif, adil, dan mampu menghargai perbedaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau peran DEI dalam membentuk dan memperkuat budaya organisasi yang adaptif dan berkelanjutan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah literature review terhadap publikasi akademik terkemuka yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020–2025, mencakup studi tentang kebijakan inklusi, keadilan dalam akses kesempatan, serta pengelolaan keberagaman di sektor publik dan swasta. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan praktik DEI berdampak positif terhadap budaya organisasi dengan cara meningkatkan kepercayaan antarpegawai, memperkuat kolaborasi tim, serta mendorong inovasi melalui beragam perspektif. Lingkungan kerja yang inklusif juga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kepuasan dan keterikatan karyawan, sehingga mendukung produktivitas dan keberlanjutan organisasi. Namun, beberapa tantangan masih dihadapi, seperti resistensi internal, bias struktural, dan kesenjangan pemahaman antar generasi dalam menerima keberagaman. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya komitmen kepemimpinan, kebijakan yang konsisten, dan program pelatihan yang berkesinambungan untuk memastikan implementasi DEI berjalan efektif. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi para pemimpin dan pembuat kebijakan organisasi dalam mengintegrasikan prinsip keberagaman, kesetaraan, dan inklusi untuk membangun budaya organisasi yang lebih tangguh dan responsif terhadap perubahan.
