Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, technology has profoundly transformed various aspects of human life, including education. The advancements in information and communication technology (ICT) have created new opportunities and complex challenges, especially in shaping the character of the younger generation. Teachers now play a pivotal role not only in imparting academic knowledge but also in guiding students to become responsible individuals with strong moral values, ready to face the increasingly complex global challenges. This article emphasizes the critical role of educators in fostering students' character development amidst digital advancements. It discusses the integration of digital ethics education, promotion of soft skills, appreciation of diversity, and media literacy. Through a descriptive analysis approach, the article draws on literature and primary sources to provide practical insights for educators in navigating the intersection of education, technology, and social change.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of job design in improving employees' quality of work life. Job design plays an important role in improving employees' quality of work life. This study examines how elements of job design, such as tasks, responsibilities, and work environment, can affect employee satisfaction and productivity. This study shows that good job design can increase employee engagement, reduce stress, and create a more positive work atmosphere. By designing jobs that are in accordance with employee needs and expectations, companies can create a work environment that supports employee well-being and effectiveness. The results of this study are expected to provide insight for managers and organizational leaders in designing more effective job design strategies. Job design plays an important role in improving employees' quality of work life (QWL), which has an impact on their satisfaction and performance. Research shows that good job design can reduce turnover and absenteeism, and increase organizational commitment. QWL includes elements such as autonomy, task variety, and a conducive work environment. By paying attention to job design, companies can create a better work atmosphere, so that employees feel motivated and motivated to contribute more optimally.

Abstract

Amidst the rapidly advancing tide of globalization, the role of teachers is becoming increasingly crucial in shaping a future generation capable of competing globally. However, the challenges faced by teachers are not light. The era of globalization brings significant changes to the educational paradigm, in terms of technology, values, and culture. Therefore, it is important for us to understand the professional code of ethics for teachers in this era of globalization, considering their vital role in shaping the character and abilities of future generations. Several previous studies have highlighted the challenges and strategies of teachers in facing the professional code of ethics in the era of globalization, as well as understanding teachers' perceptions of professional ethics in the context of globalization. The aim of this discussion is to provide a deeper understanding of the moral and ethical foundation that teachers must possess in carrying out their duties. In this paper, a descriptive qualitative approach is utilized to delve into the understanding of the professional code of ethics for teachers in the era of globalization. Through this understanding, it is hoped that teachers can fulfill their roles with integrity, professionalism, and high responsibility, thereby creating a safe, inclusive, and competitive learning environment in this era of globalization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengembangan Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21 dalam pendidikan. Keterampilan abad ke21, seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan literasi digital, menjadi penting dalam menghadapi tantangan era modern yang semakin kompleks. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan analisis dokumentasi dan studi pustaka tentang Kurikulum Merdeka dan keterampilan abad ke-21. Data akan dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber seperti kebijakan pendidikan, laporan penelitian, dan publikasi ilmiah terkait. Penelitian ini juga akan melibatkan wawancara dengan para ahli pendidikan dan praktisi pendidikan yang berpengalaman dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang bagaimana Kurikulum Merdekadapat membantu dalam meningkatkan keterampilan abad ke-21 dalam pendidikan. Analisis data akan melibatkan identifikasi strategi pembelajaran yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, serta pengaruh Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap pengembangan keterampilan siswa. Dalam kesimpulan penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat ditemukan bukti yang mendukung penggunaan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam meningkatkan keterampilan abadke-21 dalam pendidikan. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan yang berharga bagi para pengambil kebijakan pendidikan dan para praktisi pendidikan dalam merancang dan melaksanakan kurikulum yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 secara efektif.

Abstract

Manajemen kajiannya menekankan pada proses mengatur, adanya kerjasama antar berbagai unsur dalam organisasi, adanya usaha memanfaatkan sumber daya yang dimi1iki organisasi dan adanya tujuan. Kurikulum merupakan seperangkat rencana dan pengaturan mengenai tujuan isi, dan bahan pelajaran serta cara yang digunakan sebagai pedoman penyelenggaraan kegiatan pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Manajemen Kurikulum merupakan segenap proses usaha bersama untuk memperlancar pencapaian tujuan pengajaran dengan titik berat pada usaha, meningkatkan kualitas interaksi dalam proses pembelajaran. Manajemen kurikulum merupakan suatu yang sangat urgen dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Labuhanbatu merupakan mata pelajaran yang urgen sebagaimana perda yang telah ditetapkan. Untuk memksimalkan pembelajaran pendidikan Agama Islam tentunya sangat dibutuhkan manajemen kurikulum yang tepat. Diantara manajemen kurukulum yang diuraikan pada artikel ini adalah perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan dan evaluasi kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Labuhanbatu.

Abstract

The processing of the heart, which is essential to the development of the Muslim personality, can only be accomplished through dhikr. This study aims to examine the character-building habit of remembering that students at SMAN 2 Medan follow. It is used by SMAN 2 Medan to mold student character. Researchers combined an analytical descriptive study method with a qualitative approach. Combining observation, interviewing, and documentation studies to gather data Additionally, data analysis uses data display and data reduction methods to draw conclusions. The findings revealed that: (1) Dhikr dahr, Dhikr sir, and Dhikr fi'ly were the forms of Dhikr education that were used; (2) Dhikr's contribution to forming the character of the nation's generation is to ingrain Dhikr firmly into the hearts of generations; (3) The supporting factor for the practice of this Dhikr is the policy of the relevant school. While students' feelings of lethargy are the main barrier, and (4) Dhikr strongly encourages the development of Muslim qualities in students.

Abstract

Moral education, which includes Islamic moral and ethical values, is integrated into the school curriculum through various methods, including lectures, discussions, and extracurricular activities. This study aims to evaluate the effect of moral education on student behavior at MAN 3 Medan School. This study uses a mixed approach, namely quantitative with surveys and qualitative through in-depth interviews through surveys analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics are used to describe the distribution and tendency of data, such as averages, medians, and percentages. The results of the study indicate that moral education has a significant impact on improving students' positive behavior. Students involved in the moral education program showed improvements in aspects of discipline, honesty, responsibility, and tolerance and empathy. In addition, moral education also helps reduce negative behaviors such as disobedience and disrespectful behavior. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating moral education into the school curriculum to shape the character of students with noble character. Educational institutions are advised to continue to strengthen moral education programs with innovative and relevant approaches, and involve the entire school community, including teachers, students, and parents.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and student academic achievement at MTs EXPGA. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample used was 292 students, with an average student academic achievement score of 92. Data was collected using a questionnaire to measure learning motivation and academic value data obtained from student report cards. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson correlation test to determine whether there was a significant relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement. The research results show that there is a significant positive relationship between learning motivation and student academic achievement at MTs Ex PGA, which shows that the higher the learning motivation, the better the academic achievement achieved. This research provides evidence that learning motivation plays an important role in determining students' academic success.

Abstract

The study entitled “Implementation of the Al-Quran Tadabbur Program in Improving Students’ Understanding of the Contents of the Al-Quran at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan” aims to understand the implementation of the Al-Quran tadabbur program. This research method is qualitative descriptive, using data collection techniques with triangulation and data analysis. The results of the study indicate that the Al-Quran tadabbur program at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan improves students’ understanding of the Al-Quran through guidance, discussion, and application of teachings in everyday life. The benefits of this program include improving understanding of the contents of the Al-Quran and making speeches. Supporting factors for the program include motivation, student readiness, focus, and teacher ability. Obstacles include lack of motivation, forgetting to bring the Al-Quran, short time, and lateness of participants. The implementation of the Al-Quran tadabbur program at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan has been carried out well and provides benefits for students and teachers.
