Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video komik pada pembelajaran rotasi dan revolusi bumi kelas VI sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan tahapan-tahapan yaitu: (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi, dan (5) evaluasi. Namun, karena keterbatasan waktu, finansial, tenaga, dan sumber daya maka pengembangan media video komik pada penelitian ini hanya dilaksanakan sampai tahap analisis, desain, dan pengembangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah media video komik pada materi rotasi dan revolusi bumi. Sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah validitas dan kepraktisan media video komik pada materi rotasi dan revolusi bumi yang dikembangkan. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode kuesioner dengan penyebaran instrumen rating scale. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus mean untuk mengetahui persentase skor validitas dan kepraktisan media yang dikembangkan. Hasil analisis data validitas produk menunjukkan bahwa persentase skor validitas media video komik oleh ahli materi sebesar 96% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Persentase skor validitas media video komik oleh ahli media sebesar 95% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil analisis data uji kepraktisan produk oleh praktisi guru dan siswa menunjukkan bahwa persentase skor kepraktisan media video komik oleh guru sebesar 98% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Persentase skor kepraktisan video komik oleh siswa sebesar 96% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media video komik pada materi rotasi dan revolusi bumi layak dan praktis digunakan untuk pembelajaran rotasi dan revolusi bumi di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh antara model pembelajaran PjBL dan problem solving guna dalam mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan computational thingking siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain non equevalent post test only control group desain. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan tes keterampilan computational thinking. Setelah melakukan tes data tersebut dilakukan pengujian menggunakan tes MANOVA. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh nilai kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa serta didapatkan hasil nilai rata-rata siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran PjBL sebesar 78,86; model pembelajaran problem solving mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 78,64 dan pembelajaran konvensional mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 65,45. Serta dalam nilai pengukuran terdapat perbedaan pengaruh nilai keterampilan computational thinking siswa didapatkan nilai rata-rata yang menggunakan model pembelajaran PjBL sebesar 77,09, model pembelajaran problem solving mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 73,18 dan pembelajaran konvensional mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 62,18. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pengukuran nilai kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan computational thinking siswa secara keseluruhan menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan secara simultan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan computational thinking siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran PjBL, model problem solving dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa SD.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the Discovery Learning model enriched with Wamena local wisdom on natural and social sciences learning outcomes and students’ scientific attitudes in Grade III elementary schools in Wamena. Conventional, non-contextual teaching that is weakly connected to local culture has contributed to low learning outcomes and scientific attitudes, motivating this research. A quantitative approach with a posttest-only quasi-experimental control group design was employed. The sample comprised 35 students in the experimental class, who learned through discovery learning with Wamena local wisdom, and 34 students in the control class, who received conventional instruction. Data was collected using a natural and social sciences achievement test and a scientific attitude questionnaire and analyzed using MANOVA. The results showed that discovery learning with Wamena local wisdom had a significant simultaneous effect on natural and social sciences learning outcomes and scientific attitudes (p < 0.05). The experimental group achieved higher mean scores in natural and social sciences (86.67) than the control group (66.67) and the experimental group students' scientific attitude reached a very high category (102) compared to the control group (92). These findings indicate that the model improves cognitive achievement and fosters critical, contextual scientific attitudes while positioning local culture as a core element of elementary school learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a pop-up book media with the topic of how living things adapt to the environment in the fourth grade of elementary school whose validity had been tested. This research is a development research conducted using ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. However, in this study the implementation and evaluation stage were not carried out due to limited resources, manpower, costs, and research time. The subject of this research was the pop-up book while the object of this study was the validity of the developed media. The data collection method in this study was a questionnaire. The instrument used to measure the validity of the media was a rating scale in the form of assessment sheet from the experts. The validation data of pop-up book that had been collected was analyzed using the mean formula to find out the average score of the validity of the pop-up book. The average value of the validity score of the pop-up book that has been validated by the experts was 4.90 with very good qualifications. Based on the results, it can be stated that the pop-up book that had been developed were declared as valid and applicable.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) related to Policies and Learning Strategies in Primary Education. The SLR method by Kitchenham & Charters is used in three phases: Planning, Conducting, and Reporting. This review summarizes 15 Internasional articles that explore various dimensions of policy in primary education. The research shows that policy reforms, such as educational decentralization, teacher autonomy, and technology integration, have a significant impact on teaching practices and student engagement. Several studies highlight the importance of a collaborative culture in schools as a determining factor for the successful implementation of policies. In a broader context, these articles identify the challenges faced by schools in maintaining practices aligned with policies, especially in an era of increased educational accountability. Emphasis on professional development for teachers and ongoing training has been shown to enhance the quality of education and student learning outcomes. Additionally, policies that support inclusive learning models show positive impacts, improving educational access for students with special needs. The research also indicates that better implementation of evidence-based policies can strengthen the relationship between theory and practice and assist in guiding decision-making in education. Overall, these findings reinforce the importance of collaboration among stakeholders in the education sector and the need for evidence-based approaches in designing and implementing effective educational policies. Further research is needed to explore the long-term effects of implemented policies on teaching and learning practices in primary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the forms of synergy between school policies and parental involvement in supporting the realization of quality education at YP HKBP Private Elementary School in Pematangsiantar. The school is a faith-based educational institution that emphasizes Christian values and Batak cultural heritage in its educational practices. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Research subjects include the school principal, teachers, school committee members, and actively involved parents. The findings reveal that the school's policies, which focus on character development, contextual learning, and parental engagement, have been systematically designed. Parental involvement is not limited to financial support but also includes moral encouragement, participation in school activities, and decision-making through the school committee. This synergy is strengthened by religious values and a strong sense of familial culture within the school community. Identified challenges include parents’ limited literacy and time constraints; however, these are counterbalanced by the school’s open leadership and the HKBP community’s collaborative traditions.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of Skinner's Behavioristic Learning Theory in increasing the interest in learning mathematics of grade 4 elementary school students. The study sample involved 27 students, and data analysis was conducted focusing on changes in students' learning interest after the intervention. Sample characteristics, implementation of behavioristic theory, and data on student learning interest before and after the intervention were analyzed descriptively. Inferential statistical tests, such as t-tests, are used to determine the significance of changes in learning interest. The results showed an increase in students' interest in learning after the application of Skinner's Behavioristic Learning Theory, with relevant standard deviation values. The conclusion of this study provides an in-depth understanding of the positive impact of Skinner's Behavioristic Learning Theory in increasing interest in learning mathematics at the elementary level, with important implications for the development of effective learning strategies. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas implementasi teori belajar behavioristik skinner dalam meningkatkan minat belajar matematika siswa kelas 4 SD. Sampel penelitian melibatkan 27 siswa, dan analisis data dilakukan dengan fokus pada perubahan minat belajar siswa setelah intervensi. Karakteristik sampel, implementasi teori behavioristik, dan data minat belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dianalisis secara deskriptif. Uji statistik inferensial, seperti uji-t, digunakan untuk menentukan signifikansi perubahan minat belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam minat belajar siswa setelah penerapan Teori Belajar Behavioristik Skinner. Uji t berpasangan menghasilkan nilai t = [nilai t], p = [nilai p] < 0,05, yang mengindikasikan perbedaan signifikan antara pre-test dan post-test. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan positif dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih interaktif, serta menjadi landasan bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran matematika yang lebih efektif di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with Wamena local wisdom on elementary students’ learning outcomes and problem-solving skills. Integrating culturally relevant pedagogy into innovative learning models is expected to enhance meaningful learning, particularly in remote regions with strong local traditions. A quasi-experimental design employing a non-equivalent pretest–posttest control group was used. The participants were 112 fifth-grade students from two elementary schools in Wamena, Indonesia. Data were collected using learning outcome tests and problem-solving assessments and analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results indicate significant differences in learning outcomes and problem-solving skills between students taught using PjBL integrated with local wisdom and those taught using conventional learning models. Students in the PjBL group achieved higher scores in both dependent variables. These findings demonstrate that integrating local wisdom into project-based learning enhances students’ conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities. This study contributes to elementary education literature by highlighting the pedagogical value of culturally contextualized project-based learning in improving learning quality in geographically and culturally distinctive regions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi Permendikbudristek Nomor 16 Tahun 2022 tentang Standar Proses di Sekolah Dasar melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Fokus kajian meliputi dinamika perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, kapasitas guru, kejelasan bahasa kebijakan, partisipasi pemangku kepentingan, serta mekanisme pengawasan dan evaluasi. Hasil kajian mengungkapkan bahwa kebijakan ini memuat asumsi idealistik terkait kesiapan guru untuk merancang pembelajaran diferensiatif, melaksanakan asesmen formatif dan reflektif, serta membangun suasana kelas berbasis nilai. Di lapangan, implementasi terhambat oleh kesenjangan infrastruktur antarwilayah, minimnya panduan teknis operasional, bahasa regulasi yang normatif, dan rendahnya pelibatan aktor pendidikan lokal. Selain itu, ketegangan antara otonomi sekolah dan standar nasional menimbulkan interpretasi yang beragam. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan: (1) peningkatan kapasitas guru secara kontekstual; (2) penyusunan Pedoman Teknis Operasional sebagai lampiran kebijakan; (3) penguatan forum konsultatif komunitas pendidikan; dan (4) reformasi sistem monitoring dan evaluasi berbasis refleksi. Kajian ini menegaskan perlunya kebijakan pembelajaran yang adaptif, partisipatif, dan responsif terhadap kondisi lokal agar transformasi Kurikulum Merdeka dapat berlangsung efektif dan berkeadilan.

Abstract

Stigma-stigma di masyarakat yang mendiskreditkan Komunitas Kolok sebagai komunitas dengan tingkat emosional yang labil, dengan riwayat kasus pencurian, perkelahian, kekerasan dalam rumah tangga semakin menguatkan ketidakberterimaan masyarakat akan Komunitas Kolok. Hal ini berimplikasi pada terhambatnya Komunitas Kolok dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan dan ketimpangan kesetaraan sosial yang mempengaruhi kesehatan mental mereka. Maka dari itu, program ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental dan pemberdayaan masyarakat ketunaan. Subjek dari pelaksanaan program ini, yaitu 48 orang anggota Komunitas Kolok. Sedangkan objek dari program ini, yaitu peningkatan resiliensi, kesehatan mental, dan kesejahteraan ekonomi melalui aktivitas pada fase-fase Pancali. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa Pre-test dan Post-test dengan instrumen berupa angket. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan aktivitas pada fase-fase Pancali memberikan peningkatan resiliensi, kesehatan mental, dan kesejahteraan ekonomi bagi anggota Komunitas Kolok. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada kesehatan mental masyarakat ketunaan.
