Abstract

Pola hidup sehat adalah upaya seseorang untuk menjaga tubuh agar tetap sehat dengan mengkonsumsi makanan bergizi, olahraga rutin, istirahat cukup, rohani dan kesehatan lingkungan. Sumatera Barat Laporan data Komulatif Pola hidup sehat 2017 untuk rentang umur 20-24 tahun dinilai sangat buruk, ditemukan data baru 3% yang memakan buah dan sayuran, sebanyak 40% juga kurang aktif beraktifitas fisik, bahkan masyarakat Sumatera Barat lebih cendrung merokok. Perancangan ini bertujuan menciptakan media penyuluhan dalam bentuk motion graphic dan memberi pemahaman tentang pola hidup sehat di Sumatera Barat. Perancang menggunakan metode Design Thingkhing yang dapat mengkolaborasikan proses-proses terencana sehingga menghasilkan perubahan prilaku dan kondisi untuk menjawab fenomena. Perancang melalui proses observasi, menganalisis dan memahami untuk mengembangkan gagasan, ide, sketsa dan final design sebagai landasan dalam merancang motion graphic pola hidup sehat. Perancang menggunakan teori iklan layanan masyarakat, teori warna dan teori motion graphic. Bertujuan untuk mengetengahkan perancangan yang sifatnya memperkuat, kemudian memberikan ilustrasi dan informasi untuk mengubah sikap target audience kearah yang lebih baik. Hasil dari Perancangan berupa video animasi Motion Graphic tentang pola hidup sehat, poster, stiker, x-banner, t-shirt, note-book, gelang karet, botol minuman, topi, buff atau masker dan website. Diharapkan masyarakat Sumatera Barat mengerti akan pentingnya menerapkan pola hidup sehat.

Abstract

Phubbing merupakan tindakan anti sosial yang mengabaikan orang disekitar, baik lingkungan keluarga, perkuliahan dan pergaulan, dampak yang ditimbulkan phubbing adalah rusaknya hubungan sosial hilangnya etika dan kesantunan, etika berkomunikasi dan jauh menjadi dekat yang dekat menjadi jauh. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang dampak phubbing kepada publik di Kota Padang, melalui media iklan layanan masyarakat (ILM). Perancang menggunakan metode glassbox, merancang berdasarkan analisis dan sintsesis. Dimana orang bisa melihat proses kreatif seperti di dalam sebuah kotak kaca yang tembus pandang, apapun yang terjadi di dalamnya bisa diketahui. Perancang menggunakan teori iklan layanan masyarakat, teori warna, teori motion grafis, teori komunikasi. Bertujuan untuk mengetengahkan pembicaraan yang sifatnya memperkuat, kemudian memberikan ilustrasi dan menyodorkan informasi kepada khalayak, tujuan mengubah sikap dan perilaku target audience yang dituju. Hasil dari perancangan berupa artikel, iklan layanan masyarakat dalam bentuk infografis, iklan radio, banner, billboard, poster, stiker, sign, T-shirt, kalender, stiker oneway, iklan koran dan mug, sosialisasi. diharapkan publik di Kota Padang mengerti dampak negatif dari Phubbing dan lebih menghargai orang-orang di sekitar, demi terjaga hubungan baik dalam lingkungan sosial.

Abstract

Concrete is one of the most frequently used materials in the construction world, concrete is generally composed of a mixture of fine aggregate composition. Coarse aggregate, water and cement. However, concrete has a weakness to the ability to withstand the flexural force, today concrete has experienced a lot of innovations, one of which is fiber concrete. Polypropylene fiber is a type of fiber that can be used as an added material in concrete. This research was conducted to determine the effect of adding polypropylene fiber on compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete. Tests in this study were carried out according to SNI (Indonesian national standard) and ASTM (American standard testing and material), from the results of the experiment of adding polypropylene fiber with variations of 0%, 1%, 1.2%, and 1.4% known to have an effect to the compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete. The highest compressive strength and flexure obtained in concrete variations of 1%. By using cylindrical and beam test specimens.

Abstract

Plastic waste is the largest contributor in the world and belongs to the class of materials that can not be broken down by organisms (non-bio-degradable) and durable (persistent) which does not rot. It can be seen directly from this waste that is lightweight and not easily deformed. Terephthalate polyethylene plastic types are widely used as mineral water bottles can be recycled as coarse aggregate for lightweight concrete manufacture. In this study, carried out the loading test compressive strength. To determine the properties of lightweight concrete, tested the modulus of elasticity, compressive strength, and strong Pull. The physical and mechanical nature of light concrete in the use of waste plastics PET instead of coarse aggregate must be following existing regulations. The compressive strength of concrete with the highest in the age of 28 daycare that is equal to 23.973 MPa. The highest tensile strength value contained in the concrete to the age of 28-day care is equal to 2,782Mpa.

Abstract

The increasing number of residents in South Tangerang has an impact on increasing the need for lower housing. The development of vertical housing with the market name of flats, apartments and is the most effective anticipatory solution to overcome land prices which result in market limitations, especially for the upper middle class. This 32-storey apartment project uses a combined foundation system between drill pile foundation & raft foundation. With the combination of these two very massive systems, of course, it will have a very expensive cost to implement and take a long time to complete. In order to avoid cost overruns, the foundation design must look at the possibilities. To determine the efficiency of the combined system foundation design between pile bored foundation & raft foundation, the researchers analyzed the value of the bearing capacity and also the settlement that occurred in the existing foundation using the Poulos method, the equivalent Raft method and the Vesic method. From the results of the study, it was found that the contribution of the pile foundation bearing capacity was 24.10%. the placement of the raft foundation is 75.90% and the settlement analysis using the Poulos 8.95cm method, the 12.41cm Equivalent Raft method and the Vesic 12.1cm method, these three results are close to the maximum settlement limit.

Abstract

Concrete is a mixture of Portland cement or other hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and water, with or without additives (admixture). The naphthalene superplasticizer used comes from distillation of coal tar and a little from the rest of petroleum, but there is also camphor naphthalene. Where camphor grains contain 250-500 mg of naphthalene. Naphthalene is mostly produced from coal tar distillation, and a little from the rest of the fractionation of petroleum, by the molecular formula (C10H8) and in the form of two unified benzene rings. This compound is volatile, volatile even in the form of solids. The vapor produced is flammable. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of naphthalene from coal tar waste with camphor naphthalene as concrete admixture, and determine the effect of naphthalene from coal tar waste with camphor naphthalene on concrete toughness, density, water absorption, of concrete compressive strength. It is expected that the use of naphthalene can reduce the use of cement, and reduce water use. But it does not reduce the strength of the concrete so as to reduce costs in making concrete. The variations in the use of camphor naphthalene and coal tar naphthalene are 20%, 30%, 40%.

Abstract

Concrete generally composed of four main constituent materials namely portland cement, fine aggregate (sand), coarse aggregate (gravel), and water. The large amount of use of concrete in construction results in an increase in the demand for concrete materials, thus triggering the mining of concrete materials on a large scale which caused the decline in natural resources in Indonesia for the need for concrete material. If needed, substitute materials can be created in such a way as to change certain properties of concrete to function better, economically, and environmentally friendly. The waste of fly ash and shells of blood clams can be used as a substitute for cement, coarse aggregates and fine aggregates. The purpose of this research is to determine the compressive strength of the variation of the percentage of fly ash substitution with cement and shells of blood clams with coarse and fine aggregates and the addition of superplasticizer to the compressive strength of concrete. The research is using experimental methods, test specimen samples will be tested for workability, density, and compressive strength. Variable in the research are (1) related variables : density and compressive strength, (2) independent variable : variation of 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% of blood clam shell needs of the total weight of coarse aggregate. Based on the results of the research concluded that (1) Slump value of the samples 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% consecutive is 97mm, 89mm, 151mm, 149mm. (2) density of concrete with substitution of blood clam shells with coarse aggregate with samples 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% consecutive is 2284 Kg/m3, 2308 Kg/m3, 2297 Kg/m3, and 2293 Kg/m3. (3) Testing of concrete compressive strength at 28 days with substitution of blood clam shells with coarse aggregate with samples 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% consecutive is 21.44 Mpa, 24.38 Mpa, 19.02 Mpa, and 19.34 Mpa. The composition of substitution of blood clam shells with coarse aggregate of 5% has a higher compressive strength than other compositions.

Abstract

Infrastructure and technology development in the construction sector are rapidly evolving, particularly in Indonesia. Because practically every construction building is built of concrete, this supports the increased use of natural materials as raw materials for creating concrete to keep up with the world's rapid development. As a result, new technologies are required to limit the use of substitute elements in concrete mixtures while also minimizing environmental damage. The researchers used clay tile waste and charcoal ash as a substitute for coarse aggregate and cement in the concrete mix in this final project. This study uses an experimental approach with a total of 36 samples of cylindrical samples with a size of 10cm x 20cm, a substitution variation of 20%, 25% of total coarse aggregate, and charcoal ash 5% of total cement weight. On days 3, 7, 14, and 28, the test object will be slumped to see how workable it is and how strong it is. According to the findings, the higher the percentage in the concrete mixture, the lower the slump value, and the compressive strength test results. The highest is the 25% GTL substitution variation. At the age of 28, 5% AA equals 27.3 MPa. The results of testing the compressive strength of concrete with the substitution of tile waste reached the quality of K-225.

Abstract

Infrastructure is the entire structure and basic facilities needed by the community to support various community activities in daily life. The infrastructure consists of technical facilities, physical, systems, hardware, and software needed to provide services to the community and support the network structure so that the economic and social growth of the community can run well. Concrete is a material that is formed from mining products, therefore concrete has an impact on the environment. The research method used is an experiment using SNI 7656;2012 as a reference. This test was carried out by making 27 concrete samples measuring 15 x 30 cm, 9 samples of polymer concrete with 15% ceramic variation, 9 polymer concrete with 17% ceramic variation, and 9 conventional concrete as comparisons. Polymer concrete has a compressive strength of 31.53 MPa for the 15% ceramic variation and has the highest compressive strength of 32.22 MPa for the 17% variation. The compressive strength of polymer concrete with a variation of 15% is 5.69% stronger than normal concrete, while polymer concrete with a variation 17% is 11.36% higher than normal concrete.

Abstract

Bearing capacity is an aspect that is considered and considered before determining the type of foundation to be used in a building. The Palm Oil Mill Development Project in Central Kalimantan Province has a sand type of subgrade with a dense consistency. The Planning Consultant plans the type of Spun Pile Foundation in Zone C of Kernel Warehouse and Bakil Warehouse Buildings. The method used in the calculation uses Data Analysis of the CPT Test (Soil Test) and Hand boring. In Zone C Test Soil Test used is Soil Test 4 (S4) and Soil Test 5 (S5), for Hand boring using Hand boring 2 (HB-2). Calculation Analysis Using the Meyerhof formula to get the ultimate bearing capacity, lateral and axial bearing capacity. Based on the Calculation Analysis, the Ultimate Mini Pile Foundation Bearing Capacity is 20x20 87.20 tons in the Soil Test 4 area and 101.18 tons in the Soil Test 5 area. For the 20cm diameter well foundation, the calculation results are 68.45 tons in the Soil Test 4 area and 79.42 tons in the Soil Test 5 area. The calculation of the lateral permit load is obtained in the Soil Test 4 area for Mini Pile 20x20 2.23 tons and the Well Foundation 2.23 does not meet the requirements because it is less than the permit workload working in Zone C, which is 2.72 tons. Soil Test 5’s calculation meets the requirements with higher yields than the load working in the area, namely for Mini Pile Foundations 20x20 3.12 tons and Wells Foundations 3.12 tons.
