Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) was first discovered at the end of 2019 in Wuhan, China. The virus attacks the respiratory system with pneumonia-like symptoms. This virus is classified as a new virus so it does not have an antidote and has spread throughout the world until it is out of control. There are more than 200 countries reporting covid-19 cases including Indonesia. Because the biggest effect of COVID-19 is death, so researchers need to predict whether the mortality rate of COVID-19 patients. One method for predicting covid-19 patients who died in East Java is using the spline truncated regression method. Spline regression is a regression analysis that is able to estimate data that does not have a specific pattern and has a tendency to seek data estimates fro, the formed pattern on its own, while truncated is a function that can be interpreted as a function of slice. And produces a GCV value of 51.0167, a MAPE value 47.0096, MSE 32.9825, and R-Sq 0.9998. Based on the MAPE value, the prediction model is said to be still reasonable.

Abstract

This study's objective is to investigate the performance of a predictive model for students at risk of dropout (DO) by considering several internal criteria of an academic program. This research uses academic information from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and applies the C4.5, Naive Bayes Classification (NBC), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) to forecast which students might drop out. The data used consists of 714 student records from Department of Information Systems for the academic year 2010–2015 as training and 2018 as testing data. The research method refers to the SEMMA framework (Sample, Explore, Modify, Model, and Assess) to ensure systematic and accurate data processing. Meanwhile, the internal criteria used are the completed courses, the status of the internship report, and the final project proposal. According to the study's findings, the C4.5 and SVM algorithms get the best accuracy rates of 94.44%, while KNN and NBC come in second and third, respectively, with 93%. The results show that the C4.5 and SVM algorithms work well with academic data. This study provides a substantial contribution to the development of a prediction system for students at risk of dropping out, which can be integrated into data-based applications or dashboards. This solution is expected to help higher education institutions identify students who need further academic support. In addition, this research also opens up opportunities for the progress of more accurate forecasting models through the integration of additional variables such as behavioral or psychological data. With this data-driven approach, higher education institutions can enhance their efficiency in monitoring and preventing student dropouts, thereby supporting a vision of quality and sustainable education.

Abstract

Tourism has emerged as a key contributor to state revenue and has played a crucial role in national economic recovery following the Covid-19 pandemic, establishing itself as a new engine for the country’s economic growth. In response to this, the government—through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy—is actively promoting development in the tourism sector to enhance numerous tourist attractions in Indonesia, which are renowned for their beauty and recognized globally. However, the Ministry faces several challenges, including the need for technological advancements and the expansion of infrastructure. Addressing these needs will require substantial financial investment to optimize all tourism sites. This study aims to identify 22 tourist attractions across Indonesia using the Profile Matching method in Python programming, based on seven established criteria. The uniqueness about this study is that this research implemented  a simple Python script and the tourist attractions are spread across all regions of Indonesia. The results of the study highlight three tourist destinations that warrant government attention for optimization: Lake Maninjau, Rantepao, and Seminyak. To facilitate improvement, several areas require focus, including upgrading access roads, enhancing basic facilities, fostering community participation, developing human resources, and leveraging technology. The analysis using Python demonstrates that the software performs efficiently, processing 22 data points with seven criteria in a mere 0.06 seconds.

Abstract

This paper studies the translation quality of phrasal verbs generated by Auris AI in the Cartoon Scary Girl (2023) from the terms of accuracy, acceptability and readability. The aforementioned techniques are then applied to translation and the quality of a translated text measured using Nababan's framework. The researcher listed phrasal verbs systematically into a table, which was analysed according to the guidelines given in Spradley theory. As a result, despite Auris AI's claims of achieving up to 99% accuracy with high-quality transcriptions, the study found that the overall translation quality was medium with the average score is 2,24 out of 3,00 or 74,6%. It shows that Auris AI's high claim for translation accuracy is really just a kind of image appealing to the customers. The assessment incorporated three terms: accuracy, which scored 2.25 or 75%; acceptability, which also scored 2.25 or 75%; and readability, which scored 2.24 or 74.6%. These results showed that the translations often do not convey the intended meaning, lack naturalness, and have only a moderate level of clarity and comprehensibility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media audiovisual (PowerPoint) terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di Kampus IAD Probolinggo. Di era digital, PowerPoint telah terbukti efektif sebagai media pembelajaran yang mendukung penyampaian materi secara interaktif dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media PowerPoint sebagai Power point terhadap minat belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Institut Ahmad Dahlan (IAD) Probolinggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksplanatori, melibatkan 30 responden yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen penelitian diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya dengan hasil yang memenuhi syarat (r hitung > r tabel, Cronbach's Alpha > 0,60). Analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,774, yang berarti bahwa penggunaan PowerPoint berkontribusi sebesar 77,4% terhadap peningkatan minat belajar mahasiswa. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa PowerPoint sebagai Power point mampu meningkatkan ketertarikan, motivasi, dan keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran mata kuliah keagamaan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi dosen dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan PowerPoint untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan di lingkungan Prodi PAI.

Abstract

DLH DKI Jakarta merupakan lembaga pemerintah yang bertanggung jawab terhadap pengelolaan sekitar 1.125 Tempat Penampungan Sampah Sementara (TPS) yang tersebar di lima wilayah di DKI Jakarta, yaitu Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Timur, Jakarta Barat, Jakarta Utara dan Jakarta Pusat. Sejumlah TPS yang tersebar tersebut, turut di dalamnya beberapa TPS 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). TPS 3R lebih kompleks pemanfaatannya bila dibandingkan dengan TPS biasa karena TPS 3R selain berfungsi sebagai TPS, juga dapat untuk memperbaiki kondisi sampah atau limbah sebelum diteruskan ke TPA (Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir). Kondisi TPS 3R saat ini belum bisa maksimal fungsinya, disebabkan fasilitas yang belum memadai, seperti menurunnya kualitas alat pencacah organik, tidak adanya wadah pemilahan dan ruang pemilahan. Oleh karena itu, perlu kiranya pengucuran dana bagi TPS 3R. Akan tetapi karena terbatasnya dana, maka perlu memilih TPS 3R mana yang akan diprioritaskan mendapat bantuan dana. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sistem pendukung keputusan dalam menentukan prioritas TPS 3R DLH DKI Jakarta dengan menggunakan metode optimasi yang mengacu pada 5 kriteria yaitu luas lahan, fasilitas, jarak, kondisi jalan, dan kondisi estetika lingkungan, serta metode pengembangan sistem RAD (Rapid Application Development). Peneliti menggunakan metode optimasi Fuzzy Logic sebagai metode pembobotan nilai kriteria dan Hill Climbing untuk menentukan alternatif terbaik yang ada. Adapun sistem yang dihasilkan memberikan kontribusi kepada DLH yaitu dapat menentukan TPS 3R yang berhak mendapatkan bantuan dana secara cepat dan tepat. AbstractDLH DKI Jakarta is a Government Institution that responsible for waste management about 1125 temporary waste shelters (TPS) spread across 5 Regions in DKI Jakarta; i.e South Jakarta, East Jakarta, West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Central Jakarta. All those TPS’s are including some of 3R TPS (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle).    The 3R TPS is more complex in term of their usage rather than normal TPS as the 3R TPS’s instead of being a normal TPS, they could also fix the rubbish or waste before send it to Final Processing Place (TPA). The 3R TPS is still functionally not maximum way to be used as inadequate facilities such as quality degradation on organic counter, and there is no mechanical separation place and its room. With that reasons, the 3R TPS needs to be financial supported.  And considering the financial limitation from DKI Government, there is need to select suitable 3R TPS on priorities to get financial support. Therefore, this study aims to build a decision support system in determining the priority of TPS 3R DLH DKI Jakarta by using an optimization method that refers to five criteria, namely land area, facilities, distance, road conditions, and environmental aesthetic conditions, as well as Rapid Application Development (RAD). The fuzzy logic is a method of weighting the criteria and Hill Cimbing is optimization method to determine the best of alternatives. The result contributes to DLH, which is to determine which TPS 3R is entitled to receive funding quickly and precisely.

Abstract

Toyota Sales Operation atau dikenal sebagai AUTO2000 adalah bagian dari perseroan terbuka PT. Astra yang beroperasi di sektor otomotif dan sudah menjalankan beberapa servis untuk menaikkan kepuasan pelanggan. Salah satunya dengan menghadirkan AUTO2000 Mobile, sebagai fasilitas pemesanan servis kendaraan secara online yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan pengguna untuk mempercepat proses bisnis dan mengurangi bahkan menghilangkan durasi waktu mengantri. Namun dalam penerapannya masih banyak kekurangan maupun kelemahan yang dirasakan pengguna di antaranya masih ada bugs, tidak ada fitur real-time chat serta beberapa pengguna masih kesulitan menggunakan aplikasi tersebut. Capaian riset ini adalah menginvestigasi tingkat kepuasan pelanggan dan memperoleh variabel signifikan yang berdampak pada kepuasan pelanggan Aplikasi AUTO2000 Mobile. Metode riset ini menerapkan End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) dengan cara kuantitatif dan diseminasi kuesioner mendapatkan informasi dari objek penelitian. Populasi dalam riset ini adalah pemakai AUTO2000 Mobile. Dari populasi tersebut terpilih sebanyak 252 responden dan diseminasi kuesioner dilaksanakan melalui daring dan membagikan secara langsung dengan cara simple random sampling. Setelah itu, data yang dikumpulkan diolah dengan program Microsoft Excel 2016 serta PLS-SEM mengoperasikan tool SmartPLS 3.2.7. Hasilnya, terdapat 5 jalur yang diuji, H0 ditolak untuk empat variabel dan H0 diterima untuk satu variabel. Terdapat empat variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan pada kepuasan pelanggan AUTO2000 Mobile yaitu: accuracy, content, format dan ease of use. AbstractToyota Sales Operation or known as AUTO2000 is part of the public company PT. Astra that engaged in the automotive sector and has done several service improvements to increase customer satisfaction. One of them is by presenting AUTO2000 Mobile, which is an online vehicle service ordering facility that is implemented to make it easier for users, therefore it is considered to speed up business processes and reduce or even eliminate the duration of the queue. But in its implementation there are still many shortcomings and weaknesses felt by users including bugs, there is no real-time chat feature, and some users still have difficulty using the application, hence it is prominent to conduct study dealing with end-user satisfaction. The aim of this research is to analysis of end-user satisfaction level and determine the variables that impact end-user satisfaction of the AUTO2000 Mobile Application. This research method deals with End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) with a quantitative approach and questionnaire distribution to obtain data from respondents. The research subject in this study are AUTO2000 Mobile users. The population consist of 252 respondents and questionnaires are distributed online and offline with simple random sampling. Furthermore, the obtained data were analyzed using Ms. Excel 2016 and with the PLS-SEM approach using SmartPLS 3.2.7. The result, from the 5 paths tested, H0 is rejected for four variables and H0 is accepted for one variable. There are four variables that have a significant effect on customer satisfaction of AUTO2000 Mobile, namely: accuracy, content, format and ease of use.

Abstract

Chilli is one of the most widely cultivated crops in the NTB region, including in Kwang Rundun Village, East Lombok Regency. Farmers' understanding of pest and disease control is needed to improve the quality, quantity and production of chilli. The socialisation of pest and disease control in chilli plants is a form of student contribution in introducing and providing an understanding of pest and disease control in chilli plants. The method of activities carried out in community service has three stages, namely the observation stage, the discussion stage, and the socialisation stage. The farmers gained a thorough understanding of chilli cultivation starting from the seed selection process, how to control pests and diseases to the harvest process. It is hoped that socialisation activities can be held again with different types of cultivated plants because farmers in Kwang Rundun Village do not only cultivate chilli plants.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to describe the characteristics of learning maharah qira’ah using the book Cara Cepat Bisa Baca Kitab Metode 33, which is implemented at the Al-Hasyim Islamic Boarding School in Mayangan, Jogoroto, Jombang. Design/Methodology/Approach – This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research was conducted at Al-Hasyim Islamic Boarding School in Mayangan, Jogoroto, Jombang. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. Findings – Learning maharah qira’ah using the book Cara Cepat Bisa Baca Kitab Metode 33 combines linguistic tools (namely nahwu and sharaf) with reading practice. Knowledge of nahwu and sharaf rules serves as a foundational provision for students in reading and understanding the meaning of Arabic texts. This learning is conducted during the morning diniyah activities in the wustho class every day. The learning process consists of three stages: opening activities, core activities, and closing activities. The core activities follow the systematic approach of the book, which includes vocabulary (mufrodat), grammatical rules, and exercises. Research Limitations/Implications – The limitations of this study lie in its scope, which is confined to Al-Hasyim Islamic Boarding School and thus cannot be generalized to other institutions. In addition, the short duration of the study means that the long-term implementation and effectiveness of the Cara Cepat Bisa Baca Kitab Metode 33 book are not yet fully understood.

Abstract

Seiring dengan maraknya penggunaan smartphone, ranah video game berkembang pesat menjadi mobile game. Salah satu contoh fenomenal adalah Pokémon GO, yang pada tahun 2019 menghasilkan keuntungan yang sangat besar, yaitu sekitar $894 juta, berkat fitur terbarunya, yaitu PVP (Player Versus Player). Fitur ini menarik pemain baru dan lama, terutama di Indonesia, di mana pada tanggal 12 Januari 2020, Pokémon GO mengadakan turnamen pertama di Indonesia yang diikuti oleh 480 peserta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi intensi bermain game Pokémon GO, dengan fokus pada faktor pemuas (gratification) dan faktor penghambat (inhibitors). Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode Teori Uses & Gratification yang dikembangkan oleh Hamari et al. dengan penambahan variabel moderator yang diusulkan oleh Rauscnabel et al. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis data menggunakan tools SmartPLS 3.2.9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar variabel bebas terkait gratifikasi berpengaruh positif terhadap sikap pemain dalam bermain game, sementara variabel bebas terkait inhibitors tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap sikap tersebut. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi intensi bermain Pokémon GO dan menjadi acuan untuk penelitian selanjutnya.
