Abstract

Due to its advantageous location on the border of Jakarta and Tangerang, Tangerang Selatan is a highly developed city. In this instance, the Tangerang Selatan Department of Culture and Tourism (Dispar Tangsel) is required to use the application to assist the general public in realizing the availability of information in the Tangerang Selatan area. Twenty to twenty-five restaurants submit applications each year to the Dispar Tangsel Tourism Business Registry (TDUP). Dispar Tangsel must choose and decide on TDUP licensing priorities from among TDUP requests in order to open a restaurant. The purpose of the research is to offer recommendations to the community on food choices. Rapid application development (RAD) was used in the system's development. Additionally, the collaborative filtering technique has been employed by the decision support system to determine the amount of criteria or weight for restaurants using the weighted sum algorithm and for restaurants using cosine-based similarity algorithms. Additionally, the system design tool made use of MySQL as a database, PHP, the Codeigniter framework, and the unified modeling language (UML). The result demonstrates that the system is capable of displaying the output in accordance with the user's expectations during black box testing, which evaluates the functionality of the system based on the specifications. Collaborative filtering in SISRES can yield a significant improvement in recommendation accuracy. By collectively analyzing user preferences and behaviors, the algorithm can provide more relevant and personalized recommendations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of women fishermen in Pamekasan in managing family resources and the challenges they face in carrying out these roles. This study uses a qualitative method with in-depth interviews with women fishermen in Pamekasan who were selected purposively and analyzed using a gender analysis approach developed by Caroline O.N. Moser, which divides women's roles into three dimensions: productive, reproductive, and socio-community. The results of the study indicate that women fishermen play a significant role in managing family resources. In the productive dimension, they are involved in managing marine catches and side businesses, such as making salted fish or fish crackers. In the reproductive dimension, despite the large domestic burden, they are able to integrate household tasks with economic activities, maintaining family harmony. In the socio-community dimension, although more supportive, their involvement strengthens the solidarity of the fishing community. However, major challenges related to gender inequality hinder their dual roles. Women fishermen are often hampered by a lack of access to capital, training, and technology that increases business capacity. The heavy burden of domestic work limits the time and energy to develop economic capacity. Inequality in the division of domestic tasks worsens their emotional and mental well-being. On the socio-community side, despite their activeness, women are often isolated from wider social networks, with their social roles under-recognized. This study suggests more comprehensive empowerment measures to address these inequalities, including access to capital, training, and wider social networks.

Abstract

Agriculture plays a vital role in increasing Gross Domestic Product (GDP), providing employment, contributing to foreign exchange earnings, and supporting environmental conservation. Indonesia has great potential as an agricultural country where population majority relies on agricultural sector for their livelihood. Pamekasan Regency is center of tobacco production development in East Java, with a tobacco plantation area of over 30,000 hectares. However, pest attacks such as caterpillars often damage tobacco plants, reducing productivity and leaf quality. This study implemented AI technology, specifically Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), to detect caterpillar pests in tobacco plants in Pamekasan. The main focus is on AI development in computer vision using deep learning techniques. The CNN training process involves several stages: convolution, ReLU layers, subsampling/pooling layers, and fully connected layers. The test scenario was conducted by dividing data by 85% training, 10% validation, and 5% testing, as well as tuning parameters for the learning rate and epochs. The model achieved a maximum accuracy of 85% without overfitting at a learning rate of 0.001 and epochs 15. This demonstrates that the CNN deep learning method can effectively identify disease features in tobacco plants. The application of this technology can increase productivity and efficiency in the agricultural sector, supporting a sustainable economy and ecology. Keywords: convolutional neural network, image detection, tobacco pest.

Abstract

This study conducts a juridical analysis of the limitations in law enforcement against transnational human trafficking (TPPO), focusing on the case study of Indonesian citizens (WNI) exploited in Cambodia through online fraud schemes (scam compounds). Although both Indonesia and Cambodia are bound by international (UNTOC, Palermo Protocol) and regional (ACTIP, MLAT) legal instruments, the effectiveness of cross-border cooperation remains far from optimal. The research identifies major obstacles stemming from inconsistencies in the legal definitions of TPPO and standards of proof, weak mechanisms for extradition and Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA), and inadequate information exchange. Specifically in Cambodia, enforcement is hampered by the inconsistent application of the 2008 TSE Law, insufficient victim protection, and high levels of structural corruption. Using a normative juridical approach, this study concludes that human trafficking, as an extraordinary crime, cannot be addressed unilaterally. It requires strengthened and integrated international cooperation including the optimization of MLA, extradition, the formation of Joint Investigation Teams (JITs), and the harmonization of regulations at the ASEAN level to close legal loopholes and enhance the justice response. Recommendations include improving the capacity of investigators, standardizing TPPO definitions, and establishing comprehensive victim protection mechanisms.

Abstract

Covid-19 is an outbreak caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome. Covid-19 first appeared in Indonesia on March 2, 2020, with two confirmed cases and increased to 1285 cases in 30 provinces. One of the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic is on the economic aspect, which has experienced a drastic decline in income. This study aims to classify public opinion to determine the level of public sentiment on the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and to identify parameters that influence the accuracy of the sentiment analysis classification model. The methods used in this current research are Lexicon, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC). First, Lexicon is used for scoring and labeling the preprocessed data. Second, SVM is used to classify the sentiment, then find the best accuracy using linear, radial, polynomial, and sigmoid kernels. Third, NBC is used to classify sentiment as a comparison method. The results indicated that 255 tweet data consisted of 44 positive tweets (17.25%), 46 neutral tweets (18.04%), and 165 negative tweets (64.71%). Therefore, it can be inferred that the economic impact on the Indonesian people due to the Covid-19 pandemic has a high negative sentiment value. In the performance, SVM yielded a better accuracy of 100%, precision, recall, and F-measure are 1. This study proves that selecting the kernel type and applying underfitting can improve the accuracy of SVM. Also, SVM can perform well on a small amount of training data.
