Abstract

This research explores the impact of mobile-assisted learning with augmented reality (AR) on beginner English language learners, focusing on the utilization of Internet of Things through QR codes. In the digital era, characterized by the dominance of the Alpha generation, mobile learning has become pivotal, aligning with student-centered approaches. The study addresses challenges in vocabulary learning, noting limitations in conventional methods and student motivation. The theoretical framework encompasses mobile-based learning, digital learning, and AR, emphasizing their role in transforming education. AR, with its elements like users, devices, interaction, virtual content, tracking, and real-life entities, is positioned as a powerful tool to enhance interactive learning experiences. The research aims to investigate how mobile-assisted learning with AR can overcome understanding barriers for English language learners and assess the feasibility of its design for beginners. Ultimately, the study suggests that the integration of digital technologies, especially AR, holds promise for revolutionizing English language learning, addressing vocabulary challenges, and catering to the learning preferences of the Alpha generation in the digital era.

Abstract

The mind mapping learning model is a learning model that uses a combination of writing, images, symbols and colors at the same time so that it can maximize the function of the right and left brain to make it easier to remember and understand material concepts. This is the key to effective learning. The mind mapping learning model has often been used by previous researchers to test its effectiveness in increasing understanding of concepts in scientific knowledge (IPA). However, in this research, to test the power of the mind mapping learning model on the learning outcomes of understanding concepts in the social sciences group, namely in the Pancasila Education course in the Pancasila Ideology material which explains events and each event has an implied or abstract meaning so it needs to be concreted, the figures involved, the timeline or dynamics of events, with the characteristics of the material, Mind Mapping is needed to create the main ideas of the material to make it easier for students in the learning process. This research is experimental research which aims to test the effect of the mind mapping model on learning outcomes in understanding concepts. The results of the analysis of calculating the average final ability score of students (posttest) in the experimental group were 79.43. The results of the analysis of the calculation of the average final ability score of students (posttest) in the control group were 71.87. Based on the results of the questionnaire, data was obtained that students liked learning Pancasila Education with Pancasila Ideology material using the Mind Mapping model, because it has been proven to help students understand the concept of Pancasila Ideology material. Students are also motivated to learn Pancasila Education through the phases in the Mind Mapping model and the character of the model through interesting content.

Abstract

This research investigates the effect of seamless learning on learning outcomes (problem-solving and procedural) in Basic Physics courses. LMS-assisted seamless learning strategy with zoom-assisted seamless learning strategy through a quasi-experimental research design with 2x2 factorial. This research involved 73 students at Akba Technology University Makassar as research subjects. They are students in the Basic Physics course in the first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Students are divided into two groups. The experimental group consisted of 37 students who carried out the learning process using a seamless learning strategy assisted by LMS, while the control group consisted of 36 students who carried out the learning process using a seamless learning strategy assisted by Zoom. This research uses test instruments in the form of multiple-choice and essays. Data analysis used Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). The research results show that, firstly, there is a significant difference in problem-solving learning outcomes between students taught using seamless learning assisted by LMS and seamless learning assisted by Zoom. Second, there is a significant difference in procedural learning outcomes between students taught using seamless learning assisted by LMS and seamless learning assisted by Zoom.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the implementation of the development of a microlearning module containing Culturally Responsive Teaching at Candi Singasari can improve students' problem solving abilities. The development model in this study refers to the ADDIE development model. The study involved one media expert, one material expert, and the research subjects taken came from class X students in Malang class X students. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaires analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. The average total validation score from experts is 91.4%, which indicates that the Containing Culturally Responsive Teaching loaded microlearning module is very valid. The overall average product trial results reached 83.8% which is included in the valid category. The results of the Paired Sample t-test and Post test were 0.000 <0.05, so there is an effect of the microlearning module containing Containing Culturally Responsive Teaching on improving mathematical problem solving abilities and an increase in mathematical problem solving abilities before and after the use of the microlearning module containing Containing Culturally Responsive Teaching by looking at the average value of the pre-test 6.1694 and post-test 24.2788. So it can be concluded that the Containing Culturally Responsive Teaching loaded microlearning module has been successfully developed and validated so that it is suitable for use to improve mathematical problem solving abilities in the material of trigonometry comparisons in right triangles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi strategi untuk meningkatkan keterserapan kerja mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan dengan memperkuat identitas profesional mereka sebagai perancang instruksional. Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Tindakan, penelitian ini melibatkan tiga fase: analisis, desain, dan implementasi, untuk mengembangkan dan menyelenggarakan bootcamp pameran digital. Enam puluh peserta dari tiga universitas di Indonesia mengikuti program online selama seminggu yang menekankan pengembangan keterampilan praktis, termasuk penggunaan sistem manajemen pembelajaran, alat authoring, dan pembuatan portofolio digital. Pelatihan ini berfokus pada pengembangan kompetensi branding digital dan kemampuan desain instruksional melalui pendekatan reflektif dan berbasis kinerja. Evaluasi pra- dan pasca-pelatihan, serta penilaian portofolio, menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kepercayaan diri peserta, komunikasi profesional, dan kesiapan untuk memasuki peran desain instruksional. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang kontekstual dan berorientasi pada praktik dapat menjembatani kesenjangan antara persiapan akademik dan ekspektasi industri, terutama di pasar yang sedang berkembang. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada diskusi tentang menyelaraskan pendidikan desain instruksional dengan tuntutan tenaga kerja di era digital

Abstract

This study presents a modified Experiential Learning (EL) model designed to improve the pedagogical competence of pre-service teachers. Building on Kolb’s framework, the revised model integrates structured learning objectives, reflective problem-solving strategies, and abstraction ontology to enhance metacognitive, creative, and metaliteracy skills. The model emphasizes authentic classroom engagement through active experimentation and guided reflection. Developed through a systematic literature review, it offers a structured and adaptable approach for teacher education programs. While the model demonstrates theoretical potential, further empirical testing is needed to validate its effectiveness in real-world settings. This innovation contributes to the development of experiential learning frameworks that align with contemporary educational demands.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, pemanfaatan Learning Management System (LMS) menjadi langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, terutama di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas LMS Moodle dalam mendukung keterlibatan siswa, hasil pembelajaran, dan pengelolaan materi praktik di SMK. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur sistematis (Systematic Literature Review/SLR) terhadap studi terkini (2019–2024). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LMS mampu meningkatkan fleksibilitas, interaktivitas, dan motivasi siswa. Fitur seperti video pembelajaran, kuis interaktif, dan forum diskusi memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menarik dan mendalam. Selain itu, LMS memfasilitasi komunikasi antara siswa dan pendidik, yang menjadi elemen penting dalam pembelajaran berbasis praktik di pendidikan kejuruan. Namun, implementasi LMS masih menghadapi kendala seperti kesenjangan akses teknologi, literasi digital yang rendah, dan kebutuhan pelatihan bagi guru. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa LMS, khususnya Moodle, memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung pembelajaran pada sekolah kejuruan di Indonesia. Dengan perbaikan infrastruktur, pelatihan yang memadai, dan desain pembelajaran yang optimal, LMS dapat menjadi alat efektif untuk mempersiapkan siswa SMK menghadapi tantangan global. Studi ini merekomendasikan langkah strategis untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut demi meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan kejuruan secara holistik.

Abstract

This study investigates the intuitive ("organic") capabilities of Generation Z students in designing Generative AI prompts, challenging the assumption that digital native status guarantees effective AI literacy. Through an in-depth qualitative content analysis of 125 prompts crafted by Educational Technology students at State University of Malang, this research maps their initial skill spectrum using a structured assessment rubric. The findings reveal a sharp polarization across three user typologies: Basic Users (42.4%) who tend to be ambiguous, Structured Users (32%) who are logical, and Strategic Users (25.6%) who demonstrate advanced control. This study concludes that general digital fluency does not automatically translate into AI literacy. Consequently, higher education institutions urgently need to explicitly integrate prompt engineering into the curriculum as a core future competency, rather than merely an adjunct technical skill.

Abstract

The research aims to see effectiveness through the perception of optimized physics learning web design through the development of on-demand microlearning video download facilities in diverse areas and access devices. Physics learning through web design, despite success in a variety of online learning methods, has major constraints on personalized learning. Individually, students have a variety of access devices and are in areas with a variable learning environment topology towards internet access. Agile development methods were developed to develop on-demand video download features on the physical learning web, and the development results were tested on MI-Ar Raudhah students based on characteristic compatibility. The development of the on-demand and simplified physical learning video download feature using microlearning is very effective for accessing students with varied Internet access devices and topologies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji korelasi antara penggunaan teknologi dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam konteks pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang signifikan antara penggunaan teknologi dan keterampilan berpikir kritis, meskipun pada tingkat yang rendah (r = 0,271). Teknologi memiliki potensi untuk mendukung pengembangan kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, dan refleksi mahasiswa, namun, saat ini penggunaannya cenderung lebih difokuskan pada penyampaian materi. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya keterampilan dosen dalam memanfaatkan teknologi secara strategis serta perlunya pengembangan inovasi desain pembelajaran untuk memaksimalkan potensi teknologi dalam pendidikan
