Abstract

The results of the PISA 2022 survey show that the mathematical skills of students in Indonesia is still at low criteria. The weakness of students' mathematical problem solving skills can be the cause of students' difficulty working on questions tested on the PISA test which are at a high level. This can be caused by students not being used to working on questions at a high level or non-routinely. In learning mathematical problem solving, basic mathematical abilities are needed, namely numeracy skills. Students' lack of numeracy skills can result in a lack of understanding in solving mathematical problems. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type of research. Data collection was carried out using the test method. The sample in this study consisted of 91 students in fifth grades at Gugus 2 Kecamatan Plemahan. The results of this study include differences in mathematical problem solving ability between male and female students, there is no difference in numeracy skills between male and female students, and there is a significant relationship between mathematical problem solving ability and numeracy skills in male and female students with a sig value. 0,000 ≤ 0,05. Abstract

Mathematics in elementary school presents basic concepts that are useful for higher levels of education, including addition and subtraction. This material is taught starting from simple operations to more complex levels. Difficulty understanding basic concepts can hinder students' ability to absorb more advanced material. Therefore, to help students overcome their understanding problems, effective learning media is needed. Following Ausubel's learning theory, this research aims to develop Egg Countcrate Box media that is valid, practical and effective. Students will have a more interesting learning experience and develop a stronger desire to learn with the help of this medium. This research supports the importance of relevant learning according to Ausubel's learning theory, where this kind of learning helps students absorb and remember new material by relating it to what they already know. The RnD process in this research follows the ADDIE framework. The research results show that the media expert validation test has an average value of 97% and the material expert validation test has an average value of 91%. Experts provided several comments and provided minor revisions, but the Egg Countcrate Box media is still very valid for use. The teacher's assessment received an average score of 98% and students 99.5% based on data from small-scale and large-scale trials. Thus, this media practicality category is very practical without revision. There was an average increase of 0.67 in the media effectiveness test calculated using N-Gain analysis. The results from the N-Gain category are in the quite effective range, namely between 0.56-0.75. The results of testing the Egg Countcrate Box media for validity, practicality and effectiveness show that this media is very valid, very practical and effective enough to be the right choice for teaching basic counting skills. Abstract

This reseach aims to analyze needs of learning media in class V and as an innovation in learning media for cultural heritage material so that it can attract students' interest in learning. The problems found are students have difficulty understanding cultural heritage material because it presents a lot of reading material, in learning process teachers only use thematic books without additional books, and teachers have not linked realistic examples related to cultural heritage in learning. The study use qualitative by collecting data from interviews, questionnaires and observation techniques. The results of analysis conducted 81% of students need learning media. These results indicate that fifth grade students really need learning media as learning support. Based on this, learning media must integrate technology that can attract the attention of students by being equipped with text, 2D and 3D images, and interactive evaluations and encourage student interest in understanding cultural heritage IPAS material.

Abstract

Usaha dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik pada proses pembelajaran, diperlukan sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat menarik perhatian peserta didik dan efektif untuk memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pada pembelajaran sistem peredaran darah di kelas VI. Melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara guru dan angket analisis kebutuhan peserta didik kelas VI. Hasil wawancara dan observasi didapatkan peserta didik merasa kesulitan pada saat belajar mata pelajaran IPAS pada materi sistem peredaran darah pada manusia. Penggunaan media pembelajaran kurang memanfaatkan teknologi dan permainan. Hal ini memiliki dampak pada penurunan motivasi peserta didik dalam belajar. Hasil observasi diperoleh bahwa peserta didik cenderung pasif dan motivasi belajar yang rendah karena materi bersifat abstrak dan sulit dibayankan, serta kegiatan pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi. Berdasarkan hasil angket analisis kebutuhan pada aspek persepsi peserta didik terhadap media pembelajara mendapatkan rata-rata persentase 89% yang artinya sangat dibutuhkan adanya media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi 3D dan permainan untuk memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami materi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta didik dan guru kelas VI A di SDN Pandanwangi 3 Malang membutuhan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi 3D dan permainan pada muatan pembelajaran IPAS materi sistem peredaran darah pada manusia.
