Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of Family Hope Program (PKH) facilitators in Sumenep District, focusing on three sub-districts: Pragaan, Gili Genting, and Lenteng. The research evaluates facilitator performance based on three key dimensions: quality, quantity, and timeliness in task implementation. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving PKH facilitators and Beneficiary Families (KPM). The findings reveal that overall, the facilitators performed their duties effectively. In terms of quality, they successfully established effective communication with KPM and provided assistance in accordance with technical guidelines. Regarding quantity, facilitators met targeted activities such as Family Capacity Building Meetings (P2K2) and periodic data updates. Concerning timeliness, most facilitators demonstrated discipline in submitting daily and monthly reports. However, certain technical challenges, particularly poor internet connectivity in island areas, hindered the reporting process. These results highlight the importance of improving digital infrastructure and providing continuous support for facilitators to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the PKH program, especially in remote regions.

Abstract

This article intended to address a research vacuum by identifying the elements that impact MSMEs' financial performance, including the importance of access to finance, and establishing a conceptual framework that explains the link between these factors. The author proposed a building conceptual framework of MSMEs finance classic phenomena. A qualitative analysis approach may be used to establish and construct conceptual frameworks. This paper has combined knowledge from various relevant and reputable literature sources to build a conceptual model. If empirically verified, the suggested framework might be a viable option for supporting MSME owners in more successfully growing their businesses.

Abstract

Purpose – The post-COVID-19 pandemic has driven digitalization in various aspects of life, one of which is consumer purchasing behavior. With limited mobility and increasingly stringent regulations regarding activities outside the home, including shopping in malls, consumers who previously went to physical stores tend to shop online. This has led to a new revolution in the world of marketing: Live Streaming, a medium that connects businesses with buyers online without the need to visit a physical store. Design/Methods/Approach – This research method uses a literature review system to analyze documents that align with the research focus. Previously, documents were reviewed using Google Scholar, Scopus, and WoS. 50 journals were then identified and filtered, resulting in 13 articles for analysis. Findings – This proves that live streaming can break down the limitations previously imposed by traditional marketing. Retailers cannot ignore the challenges and obstacles faced in using live streaming, such as technical constraints and increasingly fierce online business competition. Research Implications/Limitations – Businesses can consider using a professional host to ensure product and service information is conveyed clearly and easily understood by the audience during live streaming. Originality/Value – Live streaming can help retail business actors to keep up with the times in the form of digitalization, seeing consumer interest in consuming products.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between financial literacy, financial technology (FinTech), and contemporary innovation in Islamic economic law and how these factors influence the sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia and Malaysia. Using a qualitative research design, this study gathers and analyses data through comprehensive literature reviews, in-depth interviews with key MSME stakeholders, and targeted surveys involving entrepreneurs within a Sharia-compliant framework. The findings suggest that a high level of financial literacy, effective utilisation of Sharia-based FinTech solutions, and responsiveness to contemporary innovations in Islamic economic law significantly enhance MSMEs' competitiveness and long-term sustainability. These elements facilitate better financial decision-making and operational efficiency and strengthen consumer trust in Sharia-compliant business practices. However, the study also identifies persistent barriers, including uneven financial literacy levels among MSME actors, limited digital infrastructure in rural areas, and insufficient access to appropriate FinTech platforms tailored to Islamic economic values. Furthermore, the research emphasises the critical role of coordinated government policies, institutional support, and multi-stakeholder collaboration in fostering a robust ecosystem that nurtures the growth of Sharia-compliant MSMEs in the digital age. The insights offered by this study contribute meaningfully to the academic discourse on Islamic economics and provide practical recommendations for policymakers, financial institutions, and business practitioners. Ultimately, the research highlights the strategic importance of MSMEs as catalysts for inclusive, ethical, and sustainable economic development in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Abstract

The main issue raised is how the subjective well-being of this community is influenced by unique cultural ties and traditional values, which are often overlooked in economic-based welfare measurements. This study aims to explore the subjective well-being of the Tengger Tribe community in Ranupani Village, East Java, which reflects the balance between material and non-material aspects. With a phenomenological approach and qualitative methods, this study uncovers the meaning of subjective well-being through in-depth interviews and observations of six key informants. The results show that subjective well-being in the Tengger Tribe community includes life satisfaction obtained from farming activities, sufficient income, availability of free time, and the application of traditional values such as Tri Hita Karana and the teachings of Bekti Marang Guru Papat. Spiritual ties, social solidarity, and harmony with nature also become the main pillars in creating well-being. The implication of this study is the need for local culture-based policies to support indigenous peoples' multidimensional well-being.
