Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to identify critical thinking skills in motion kinematics material at SMAN 8 Jambi City. The research method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative method. The research subject in this study was the Physics teacher in class XI at SMAN 8 Jambi City. The subject selection technique used was purposive sampling. The findings in this research are students' self-confidence. The self-confidence of class Keywords: Movement Kinematics, Self-Confidence, Learners Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi kinematika gerak di SMAN 8 Kota Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Adapun subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran Fisika kelas XI SMAN 8 Kota Jambi. Dengan teknik pemilihan subjek yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepercayaan diri siswa. Kepercayaan diri siswa kelas XI F1 dan F2 SMAN 8 Kota Jambi dalam pada materi Kinematika Gerak dalam kategori baik dengan persentase  dengan frekuensi 75 siswa, nilai minimum 51,00  dan nilai maksimum 88,00. Kata Kunci :Kinematika Gerak, Kepercayaan Diri, Peserta didik

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to develop a combinatorial optimization model based on discrete mathematical methods that can be applied to mathematical physics problems in complex systems, such as molecular energy configurations and viscoelastic system simulations. Methodology: The study used a development approach with ADDIE design (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were obtained through interviews, simulations, and instrument validation involving lecturers and students of mathematical physics. Main Findings: The results of the study showed that the developed model had an average accuracy of 85% and a time efficiency of 2.5 seconds per iteration. This model also received positive feedback from users, with an average satisfaction score of 4.6 out of 5. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of the research lies in the integration of discrete mathematical methods with combinatorial optimization to solve complex mathematical physics problems.

Abstract

This research aims to develop science learning media and know the perception of Shiva. This research wass a research and development study that uses the ADDIE model. The research stages include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subject of this research test was grade VIII students SMPN 7 Kota Jambi. The instruments used were media-and material-validation sheet as well as student perception questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively. The Media developed has a .swf format in which there are audio, video, animations, images, and comes with questions in each sub-chapter of the material and there was an evaluation of all material. Media and material validation results with an average score of 89 (very good) and 77.5 (good). The results of the student perception analysis gained an average score overall indicator is 80.79 (good). Based on these results, it can be concluded that this science learning media can be used as a self-taught student.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui sikap terhadap mata pelajaran fisika di SMA N 5 Muaro Jambi. Metode penelitian ini campuran dengan jenis penelitiannya explanatory sequensial. Prosedur pengumpulan data, pertama peneliti menyebarkan angket kepada siswa dianalisis dan disajikan dalam bentuk diagram lingkaran, kedua peneliti melakukan wawancara dan dokumentasi berupa rekaman dan foto saat wawancara, dan tahap ketiga studi dokumentasi berupa foto dan transkipkan kedalam bentuk tulisan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 5 Muaro Jambi kelas X MIA, XI IPA dan XII IPA tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Instrument penelitian yaitu; pertama angket siswa terhadap mata pelajaran fisika, kedua lembar wawancara, dan ketiga dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data kuantitatif statistik deskriptif dan data kualitatif model miles dan husberman. Hasil penelitian dimensi sikap implikasi sosial dari fisika dikategorikan sikap baik 49%. sikap normalitas ilmuawan dikategorikan sikap cukup 56%, sikap terhadap penyelidikan dalam fisika dikategorikan sikap cukup 51%. Adopsi dari sikap ilmiah dikategorikan sikap baik 58%. Sikap kesenangan dalam belajar Fisika dikategorikan sikap baik 46%. Sikap ketertarikan memperbanyak waktu belajar Fisika dikategorikan sikap cukup 48%, dan sikap ketertarikan berkarir di bidang fisika dikategorikan sikap baik 43%.

Abstract

The research aims to develop physics learning media using scientific-based prezi software for VIII SMP grade solar system material. Research includes research and development with the ADDIE model. The subjects of this research trial were media experts and class VIII A students at SMP Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi. The research instruments used were preliminary study questionnaires, material and media validation questionnaires and student perception questionnaires. The data analysis technique of students' perceptions was carried out using descriptive statistics. Product specifications namely prezi software using exe format. The results of the validation of the expert stated that the design used was in accordance with the subject matter and learning objectives so that it was declared valid. The perception test results of 68.12 students in the excellent category and reliability 0.8281 in the very high category. Based on the results obtained that the scientific media prezi based on solar system material is suitable for use as teaching material.

Abstract

The research aims to develop physics learning media using SWiSH Max4 a valid and viable class of collision impulse momentum material X MIPA SMA. This type of research was research and development. The steps in the development of Luther include: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, and testing. The subject of the research trials was the students XMIPA4 SMA 11 Jambi City. Data collection instruments using material validation sheets, media and student perception quisionare. Data were analyzed descriptively. The Media developed has flash, movie and EXE formats. The material was presented with text, images, video and animation. Media and material validation results are declared feasible by the validator. Score analysis of the students' perceptions for educational aspects, achieving a score of 135 (very good), the display aspect of the program 138.8 (very good), and the aspect of the technical quality of 132.3 (very good). Physics learning Media using SWiSH Max4 is valid and well worth use.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the learning motivation of physics students of class X MIA in SMAN 9 Kota Jambi. The type of this research is descriptive research with quantitative approach. The population of this study is the students of class X MIA in SMAN 9 Kota Jambi. The sampling technique in this research is total sampling. The research instrument used is questionnaire motivation learn physics student. The data type of this research is quantitative data. Data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that the learning motivation of physics students of class X MIA in SMAN 9 Kota Jambi on intrinsic motivation dimension derived from the diligent indicators in doing the task that tends to be in the high category with the percentage of 59.80% where student attitudes are in the category often and on dimensions extrinsic motivation stems from indicators of feedback that tend to be in the high category with a percentage of 61.76% where student attitudes are in the category often. Abstract

This research aims to determine the activity and learning outcomes through cooperative learning of time token type. This research was a classroom action research. The subject of this research student of XE SMAN 3 Muaro Jambi. Data collection instruments using student and teacher observation sheets during process activities as well as test learning outcomes. The results of this study showed that an increase in student activity from Cycle I was, 68.37% to 71.75% in cycle II and 74.06% in cycle III. Students ' learning results in cycles i.e., 63.03 for cycle I to 70.00 for cycle II and 76.86 for cycle III. The application of the Time Token Cooperative Learning model can increase the student's activity and learning outcomes at the temperature and heat material in the XE SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi class.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop MATLAB-based learning media as an interactive online practicum tool to understand the concept of sine waves. Methodology: The research method uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The research subjects are physics education students at Jambi University, data collection techniques using questionnaires. MATLAB-based media is designed with interactive simulation features that allow students to manipulate sine wave parameters, such as frequency, amplitude, and phase, in real-time. Main Findings: The test results showed that the majority of students responded positively to the use of this media, with 60% in the "Good" and "Very Good" categories. In addition, students' science process skills, such as data analysis and problem solving, also increased significantly, with an average score reaching 70.80. The results of the correlation test revealed a significant positive relationship (r = 0.542, p = 0.001) between students' responses to MATLAB development and science process skills. This interactive simulation provides a more intuitive learning experience than conventional methods, allowing students to understand abstract concepts visually and deeply. However, hardware and software limitations are challenges that need to be overcome for wider implementation. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research provides significant contributions in the development of simulation-based learning media for online education, especially in improving the understanding of physics concepts and science process skills. In the future, web-based development or mobile applications are proposed to improve accessibility and efficiency of learning.

Abstract

This groundbreaking research endeavors to unveil the transformative potential of the inquiry learning model, transcending its conventional academic applications to delve into its profound impact on high school students' social attitudes and responsible character. Employing an innovative mixed methods research design, this study pioneers a comprehensive analysis that seamlessly integrates quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Through the meticulous administration of a carefully constructed questionnaire, the research uncovers compelling insights gleaned from sophisticated t-test and regression analyses. Results illuminate a significant correlation between students' social attitudes and responsible character, highlighting the intricate interplay between these pivotal dimensions of adolescent development. Furthermore, regression analysis reveals the substantive influence of the inquiry learning model in fostering positive social attitudes and instilling a sense of responsibility among students. Novelty is intrinsic to this research, as it boldly ventures beyond traditional academic metrics to prioritize the cultivation of empathy, integrity, and civic engagement among learners. By challenging established educational paradigms, this study advocates for a transformative shift that recognizes inquiry-based approaches as catalysts for nurturing well-rounded individuals poised to effect positive societal change.
